While the exact character sheet layout will be slightly different, you can get an idea of how it will look by taking a gander at my past CS's used for our old Power Rangers RP: https://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/186864-power-rangers-dragon-fury/char
I'll make one up and post my characters later this week. I think we have enough people interested to get the IC/OOC/CS thread going, so I will work on all of that over the next few days and have the first IC post up this weekend.
@CaptainManbeard Definitely an OC. A young lady with a unique ability. And a sword, which I suppose isn't that unique.

Okay, cool!

Yeah, I wanted to play Invincible, but Terra Grayson, not Mark.

Okay, sounds awesome!

@CaptainManbeard What about synthetic life forms that were created fully formed? Like Vision or Ultron.

Hmmm. I'm not sure the Sentinels would kidnap them in that case if they were not close to the Cosmic Traveler's biological age. Perhaps their biometric scanners thought the synthezoid was indeed a teenager, which could be the result of some form of trickery. Like, maybe the synthezoid wanted to find out why teenagers were being separated from other prisoners and so they shifted in a matter similar to Vision to take on the facade of a teenager themselves.
I'm curious but confused. Is this canon characters?

Consider this Multiverse as sort of like our own custom setting. There are thousands of different universes in this Multiverse, so you can pretty much tweak whatever character however you want, or you can make an OC. What did you have in mind?
Also, check out this kick-ass superhero video set to "Holding Out For A Hero!" It's pretty awesome.

@CaptainManbeard
Glad you like my character. I do have a second character in mind, basically the Jimmy Hudson Wolverine from Ultimate Marvel. I've wanted to play him for a while and this seems like the right RP for him.

Sounds cool!
Could I play a character that's from a non-Marvel property if they're still a superhero? Historically her universe and 616 has seen some crossover.

Sure! Are you thinking of playing Invincible? Would be so cool if he eventually runs into a variant of Omni-Man on Battleworld, hehe.

So I’m interested in this as well. One question I have is how many characters are we allowed to play. Right now I only have an idea for one character.

Basically he’s Peter Quill, but instead of his father being the King of Spartax or Ego the living planet, his father is Darkhawk, a member of the Shi’ar Imperial Guard. As a young teenager Peter was abducted from Earth by the Starjammers, pirates looking for his father. Peter ends up inheriting the Darkhawk amulet, allowing him to become the Darkhawk. Peter returns to Earth and becomes a superhero, helping form the super team the Guardians of the Earth.

That character sounds awesome, and feel free to play as many as you think you can handle, though I think three at a time is probably a good limit.

How does age work with universes that have time travel? Presumably most universes have a time stone. The TVA must exist, at least in some universes. Pocket Dimensions with differing time scales.

Hmmm. I hadn't really thought about it, but I'd assume they'd probably go on biological age. For instance, my Loki variant is technically 17 years old, even though he was actually born many centuries ago. When he was a newborn, his mother sealed his powers, turned him into a human, and sent him over a thousand years into the future to escape the clutches of his universe's Odin, a ruthless tyrant who was hellbent on exterminating every single Frost Giant.

Dropping my basic character idea here as others have done, I give you Jasper Morgans!

A stark contrast from the magic users currently on the team, Jasper's mutant powers are entirely based in his physical body: He possesses the ability of total anatomy manipulation. Jasper has complete control over just about every facet of his body, inside and out. This power possesses a wide variety of defensive, offensive and supportive capabilities, including:

-The ability to redistribute and control organic matter in his body, allowing him to reshape his form to give himself extra limbs, change around his anatomy, or repair damage taken.
-The ability to alter the properties of his body: For example, hardening the skin and bone in his fists, or making himself limber and elastic. He cannot change the state of his body, however, meaning he must remain solid rather than liquid or gaseous.
-Greatly increased speed, stamina, strength, reflexes and endurance that exceed those of even the fittest non-mutants.
-A total mind-body connection that allows him to detach his body parts and still have control over them: For example, taking out his eye and using it for surveillance, or puppeteering his hand Addams Family style.
-Control over his metabolism, allowing him to resist the effects of drugs and poisons or delay their effect.

And a few other things that are too niche or specific to mention.

I'll go more in depth in regards to his personality and motives when the OOC pops up and we get cracking on character sheets, but he should have an interesting dynamic with the others regardless :)

Looks good! A cool power-up for him down the line could be to add extra, temporary matter to his form by absorbing it from his environment, and then releasing it when he's done. Almost like Majin Buu, he could throw off a chunk of his flesh, which wraps around an object like putty and then pulls the matter into his form, temporarily mutating to match his body and giving it extra mass. This could give him the ability to create full clones or grow in size, but I'll leave that up to you whether or not you want to incorporate anything like that. Just an idea XD.
