The sound of Rob's engine echoed throughout the forest, the two wheeled motorcycle's gutteral cry audible from well over a mile away. His headphones drowned out the sound thanks to the total lack of caring about his hearing. The deep vocals, heavy riffs and insane drumming overpowered the engines roar after being cranked up to maximum volume. Continuing down the stretch of highway the music stopped and was replaced by the ringing of an incoming phone call. With his phone secured to the fuel tank in front of him he tapped at it to hear his mothers voice. She began mother fussing about him wildly as most mothers did. He didn't say much as she asked the usual barrage of questions teenagers had from their mothers. Have you got this? Have you got that? It was frustrating, even more so seeing as she was the one who insisted on packing his bag for him. "I'm still on the highway, but i'm just about to turn off." His voice was frustrated, always seeming to find himself wound up by what he saw as constant interrogation. Inside he knew it was because his mother cared he just found it difficult to deal with sometimes, particularly after the death of his father.

A few minutes after the end of the phone call Rob turned off the highway and headed along the long winding road towards the campsite. The asphalt soon made way for dirt but his bike showed no risk of losing control as its wide, deep tread tyres gripped everything they could. It was a further while before the campsite eventually came into view, the first thing Rob caught sight of was Duncan's car. He always showed off in it, the fact he was still alive was down to sheer luck rather than any particular talent for driving. Rob couldn't say much mind, he had already had his fair share of close calls on his bike thanks to acting like a dick.

As he rolled up in front of the gathered group the engines roar faded into nothingness as he removed his key. With the stand down he stepped off the bike, somewhat uncomfortably. His rucksack was filled to the brim with clothes and other supplies, pulling down on his shoulders relentlessly. To make the weight that much worse he'd strapped his rifle bag to it but fortunately he managed to keep his balance. He took off his helmet and left it resting on the handlebar of the bike. He pulled his scarf down from over his mouth and raised his sun glasses up onto his head. "Hey guys what's up?"
@Liotrent That was the point of making them buddy so go ahead

Rob sat at the end of his bed lacing up his boots when the call came down the corridor to get ready. He was used to being up in the early hours and had been up for an hour prior to the call. He had prepared a simple breakfast for himself, choosing to eat light. He intended on having a much heartier meal for dinner he just didn't want to be bloated for the start of training. After he finished lacing up his boots he rose to his feet and threw on his webbing his the dark camouflage overalls. His helmet followed before his attired was finished with a dark shemagh wrapped around his neck. A quick check in the mirror followed before he left his room and headed for the South Wing.

The corridor was devoid of other people but he could hear hurried rustling and voices from within the rooms he passed. The people within would be those he would come to call brothers and sisters over the coming months and hopefully long into the future. He had lost people during his service like they all would have, it was the worst part of the job. He'd happily wade through slurry on his hands and knees for days at a time if it meant that each and every one of them would make it back. To expect that was unrealistic however...the field just didn't work like that. There are no second chances when two enemies are firing fully automatic weapons at each other from close range.

After a short walk Rob found himself at the South Wing, finding another man there already. His attired was much more slick and almost futuristic looking when compared to the pretty standard fatigues Rob wore. For a split second Rob had a moment of paranoia and ran his hands across his waist. His left hand found it's mark and he took hold of his gas mask, just to make sure it was there. He fully expected realistic scenarios in their training and part of that would be simulated chemical attacks. While it wouldn't protect him against all attacks such as those that can cause damage through skin exposure, it would keep him safe from airbourne elements.

Moving towards the other man, Rob began to speak. "How's it going mate?" His thick Welsh accent would sound pretty strange to anyone outside of the UK and somewhat familiar to anyone from within. "My names Rob but they've given me the codename Ghost." Eyeing up the structure before them, the Welshman smiled to himself. It had felt like an eternity since he had been involved in any sort of training, he was excited to get started. "I have missed this place, I won't lie. The guys are just so creative when it comes to recreating locations and scenarios." He referenced the team at the Hereford base who had for decades helped the SAS build to scale and accurate locations they would be entering. The team were part of the reason why the SAS had been so effective throughout it's history.

Raccoon General Hospital

Connor's brain became awash with thoughts, outcomes, pros and cons as to what would happen if they didn't get out now. More medical supplies could be invaluable down the road, there was no idea how bad things were really going to get. Maybe the RPD could keep it contained, but if they couldn't...it wasn't worth thinking about. "Alright. We need to be quick and quiet." Connor approached the door with Ana close behind. "I should tell you, my only aim is to get out of the city. My ex-wife and kids are hopefully safe in Old Oak. Either way...hanging around in the city too long is not my plan." Slowly pushing the door open, Connor glanced along the corridor. The screams and the the blood continued to flow through out the hospital but the corridor was clear. Leo gestured to Ana and forcefully whispered, "Quick!"

The pair hurried across the corridor to the other operating room without being seen by the living or the dead. It was in a much worse state than the room they had just been in. Blood coated the floor in a thick film, presumably where they hadn't had a chance to clean up post surgery. At least that is what Connor had hoped for. He allowed Ana to continue collecting supplies while staying close to the door. He kept an eye out down the corridor and for a couple of minutes there was no movement, that was until one of the undead fell through a set of double doors. Then another...and another. Soon a small horde of blood stained, pale eyed, flesh hungry monsters were making their way down the corridor to them.

"Ana we need to get out of here...now!" It would only be a matter of time until the undead filled the corridor.

I’ll get a post up tomorrow for definite. Maybe earlier depending on how my night goes

Leo's face began to hurt from the almost persistant smile on his face. He had not been so happy for such a long long time. He knew how to have fun and enjoy the company of others, that wasn't what this was, this was more. This was the sort of happiness and elation you only get when you connect with a person, the kind of unexplainable and almost supernatural bond between two people that can sometimes appear from nowhere. Leo had slowly realised since Dustynn's arrival that he felt that bond between them and what she said next finally gave him reason to believe that she felt the same way. "It's alright. I'll say hello when we go back up to the bar for that drink, but my attention is yours and yours alone tonight." For the briefest moment Leo thought he was having a coronary as his heart thumped the inside of his chest. This time though there was no embarassing glance away, no reddening of the face, just an expression of natural joy.

The invitation to dinner was quickly accepted afterwards causing Leo to chuckle, maybe she enjoyed food as much as he did. Suddenly the laugh stopped as he felt something rub against the outside of his leg. "Woops," Dustynn said, owning up to the touch. Leo laughed once more as she rose to her feet taking their empty glasses in hand. He left his seat and walked with her to the bar. The majority of the bar area was clear with people finding their way to the dance floor, it was what often happened after the alcohol started to flow.

As they reached the bar Dustynn placed the glasses down onto it. Leo's focus didn't break from her, inadvertantly ignoring the call of his bartender. "Leo!" The shout caught his attention and pulled his focus from the woman he was losing himself to. "What you having boss?" Leo scoured the back shelf taking in all the brands and liquors on offer, even though he would end up making the same decision as always. "I'll have a pint please." He thought for a moment what to order Dustynn but decided against it. "What are you having Dusty?" He turned back to Dustynn for her answer and without a thought he had put his arm around her, his hand resting on her waist. Realising what he had done caused the nerves to rush through his body once more, that was until he found himself staring down into her eyes again. The andrenaline coursed through his veins and his brain was a jumbled mess of negativity and what ifs. The only thing that he knew was that his heart wanted what it wanted. Fuck it... Finding a backbone and no longer acting like a teenager, he leant in towards Dustynn for what he had wanted since they shared that late breakfast.
I’m longing for some cyberpunk in my life!

The compliments that left Dustynn's mouth made him blush, fortunately the lighting did a good job of hiding it. He wasn't used to compliments, particularly from someone he was interested in. He'd had his fair share of one nighters as anyone would growing up, but he was at the point he wanted something more. He wanted something that involved feelings and being able to open yourself up to someone else, being able to share with them the good and the bad. Someone who loved him for him and not for his money or his club, but for the person that he actually was. With Dustynn speaking he fidgeted with a beer mat in his right hand, flipping it around his fingers and all round just trying to relax. He was still frustrated with himself, questions rushing through his head. Should I have kissed her? Would she have let me? Maybe she'd have slapped me? You're an idiot.

She moved on to talk about her singing, putting down her abilities. "You're mad. I'm telling you now that you have got talent. Most people have some basic ability to sing, but it's just a case of them picking the wrong song for their voice most of the time. You're good...you should definitely give it another go later." He wasn't trying to smooth talk his way to her heart, he genuinely thought she could sing. Maybe not the generic pop music that flooded the airwaves but there were most certainly artists out there who had made a living with a voice very similar to hers.

Soon enough the trademark change of subject that Dustynn was famous for changed to the major world problem of the ladies bathroom. To be fair the bathrooms had not had a touch up since the opening several years before. Barring the occassional bit of maintenance everything was still in it's original state. "Well if you think it's that bad we can definitely look at it. I mean I don't go in the ladies so I wouldn't know..." Leo held back a laugh as he carried on, "...but the gents could probably do with a touch up. So yeah why not. One day next week we'll hop in my car and take a trip to buy some fresh paint. What do you think?" After he said it Leo froze in place for the briefest of moments. Was he pushing too hard to spend time with her?

As the conversation continued and the drinks continued to flow she caught Leo by complete surprise, "You're pretty dope.". His body completely froze apart from the very indiscreet smile growing on his face. He dropped his head, taking a mouthful of beer, wiping the foamy head from his upper lip when finished. Before he could respond she was reaching across the table with her glass and the pair touched their glasses together. Opening his throat Leo's remaining drink disappeared in it's entirety in mere moments. It was a unique talent he found from his youth back in the UK, the ability to down a drink in a speed that very few others could match. He placed the glass back on the table and raised his hand to wipe away the foam once more. He smiled at Dustynn as she finished her own drink. Soon something, or rather someone caught her attention near the bar. She glanced for a moment before suggesting that it was a band known as Siren or something. They weren't known to Leo, his taste in music far from what he assumed they were known for. He turned his head and saw there was a small group of people huddled together. He scratched at his chin for a moment before leaning across the table towards Dustynn.

"Do you know who they are? I mean are you a fan? We can go over and say hello if you like?" Leo wasn't one to get excited by celebrities, to him they were just normal people who most of the time, probably didn't want to be bothered every five minutes. He didn't even know if this band were famous or not but they'd clearly caught her attention so he thought he'd at least offer to go talk to them. He looked down at his watch quickly and caught the time. "It's cool either way. Only thing I would say is that I have another surprise for you in fifteen minutes." Leo's cheeky grin returned to his face as he looked up from his watch, catching Dustynn's eyes on the way up. His mouth hung open for a second before continuing on, stopping himself getting lost in her eyes. "It involves more drink and probably the best part...the kitchen..." He briefly paused once more as his smile made way for sincerity and his tone of voice changing to one of hopefulness. If she didn't know how he felt, he hoped she did now. His heart beat wildly in his chest once more as the words left his mouth, "...that is if you want to?"
