Learning the vocab of a new script can be a pain. At least BBCode syntax is simple.

Bio

I'm a generally chill gremlin that can be kinda particular. I grew up with plenty of electronics and video games, mostly with games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and StarCraft. I like to blend magic and technology in my writing, bringing fantasy into space and sci-fi.

Well, that didn't work the way she wanted it to. She supposed she was being too naive. Trinity watched as Nero scattered and Ariel ran off to chase after Karn. She was worried about him, too, but she couldn't just leave this weird girl to turn into wood and back again. As much as she might like to. "Aaaahg, dammit!" She retrieves her quiver and grabs a net arrow, tossing it onto Elizabeth to catch her in it. With any luck, she'd manage to gather the girl into a nice little bundle - oof. Right. People are heavy. "Fleo, we can't leave her to turn into wood and just... sit here defenseless. She'll be fine in, like, ten minutes or something. Probably." She knew she would, but she just wanted to sow that shred of doubt for Elizabeth. "If you can heft her then bring her, but I want to help Karn. I owe you one! Oh, here." As she started to run off after Ariel, she conjured her quiver for a net arrow and tossed it to Fleo. It wouldn't go off, even if it hit her.

As she descended into the stadium, chasing Ariel and the sound of conflict. The floor nearby caved in and Karn crawled up through. She was about to call out to him when Prince started getting in a fight with him. No, not fighting him. Trying to subdue him, put him to sleep. Help him! Was he so out of control? Then she might have to help. "Bard's Legerdemain." It was time for a bow harp. A hand movement traces the shape of the body and she draws the strings with a finger. Lots of strings, as she'll need the punch and precision. As she makes the movements, purple lines appear in the air where she has traced, and when she's done a bow harp solidifies out of the gathered magic power.

The minstrel approached, somewhat surprised to see Ariel jump up from below to join them. While Ariel went to Karn, Trinity rushed to Prince. "Whoa, jeez, guy." She tried to keep a pleasant face, despite the serious wounds from being bit up by a Chimera. Would he even be in a state to respond...? "You feelin' okay?" I can't fix this.

"Dammit!" Her opportunity for a shot on the guy had passed, and now they were down one fighter against their three. "This guy's too good in such a heavy thing..." She huffed and took a moment to think about it. She moved on from their ace pilot, deciding it would be better to save him for last and deal with the rest of the enemy fighters. It would be much easier to deal with him with two bokites to help her, if she could save both of them.

Speaking of the bokites, their shields were a little useless here, weren't they? Those heavy fighters, on the other hand, posed a huge problem with their powerful generators. She clicked on her comms, taking a serious tone. "Fighter squadron, be advised. Primary turrets are switching to Ion Disruptors." The third and final of the ship's turret weapons, it rounded out her weapon selection. The Elzion Vulcan, for all-around, general offensive capability. The Plasma Beam Cannon, for unshielded or wounded targets. And then, for this kind of situation, she had an ace, to level the playing field.

The Ion Disruptor fires from an exposed coil, situated in something like a satellite dish. The coil charges ions to release ion streams, directed by the dish. These streams seek out objects in empty space, as the ions seek matter. Though the initial range is limited, the ions jump from one object to the next, until no more objects are available to jump between. This weapon deals damage to shields, and could disrupt systems.

Once the weapon has warmed up, she lets loose readily. Even if she hit their own fighters, it played in their favor. The bokite's shields were just not up to par in this fight, but now neither fighters' shields would matter much.
I don't think... forward guns on a capital ship would be any good for shooting at fighters. x:

They would basically have to fly into it.
Especially the pilot. The gunner gets to at least shoot things? Which is kinda exciting to write about. And easier to relate to than navigating a space ship.

I suppose your counterpart to write against would be the other spacecraft.
@Prince of Seraphs Though, I suppose I should note it was my intention to have Trinity's desperate musical display play to Elizabeth's fondness for music. She just wanted to interrupt the verbal button pressing.
We had a slayer magic user list a few pages back. o 3o

'cause we can?
Though, oh, Seraphs did read it already, didn't he...

Hmm. We should make more lists. Like Molding Magic users and... I unno. Caster vs Holder.

I'll make an infogram out of it, maybe.
