Bio

It's me, that dood, Citrus Arms. I'm 33, I sometimes work on a book a little bit, and I play a lot of games. I like me some MechWarrior or the X-Frontier series, but I also adore some good magic-fantasy. I grew up with Final Fantasy VI's magitech world, and worlds like Chrono Trigger, Zelda, and Star Fox. Lots of Nintendo, but some other stuff, too.

I like sci-fi and fantasy and space and combinations thereof, mostly. I have a setting take takes place after a galactic apocalypse, in a galaxy of recovering empires and new interstellar nations rising from the ashes, all while machinations from the apocalypse cause a rise in magic.

Oh my god.

I just made French Toast in some bacon grease. It's delicious.

I'll probably post the next song soon.

Private Durandal

Regan was focused on resting and healing when she was approached. She was taking careful, measured breaths, trying not to agitate any healing her body was undergoing. She cracked an eye open when she heard someone approaching, spying the uniform and closing it again. "A field medic? Ooh, just the people I need." She smiled softly, before adding, "cute, too. Here, I can handle your weapon for you if you patch me up. Deal?" She spoke only loudly enough to be heard, not wanting to strain any injuries she might have.

She felt tired. Was that a bad sign? She was sure it was normal, but that didn't answer the question. "So, how's it look?" She opened her eyes to keep a lookout, and shifted just a bit so she could comfortably aim and shoot.

Name: Terra Green
Stage Name: Starla Stelaria
Idol Title: Star Metal
Sex: Female
Age: 27
Appearance: Terra Green is a woman with green eyes and wavy blond hair. She likes wearing sundresses in her leisure time and the color blue. She has a slender, athletic build.
Height: 5'7"
Nationality: Swedish
Reason For Becoming An Idol?: Well... (See Background)
Personality: An energetic lady, Starla is passionate about her music, but not necessarily about pleasing fans. However, she pours her soul into her music, which may earn her fans, anyway.
Background: Starla and her band grew up in a garage. The untimely death of a close friend and band member caused a younger Terra to fling herself into music, so much so it drove her band apart. Soft metal guitar solos earned her a meager living here and there, until one foggy day, she found herself in quite the situation. A Beast had come to town, and it caught her scent. One chase later and she was cornered. The lost but dedicated soul was granted a way out. As she rummaged through nearby trash, desperate, she found a Vocal Gem. She's never questioned where it came from, only grateful to have a way to continue playing music.

One sudden Audition/Debut later, and she was an Idol.

Idol Appearance: Blonde hair is pulled back into a pony tail, the odd bang loose. There are color-coordinated highlights in her hair, going with the rest of her outfit. She has one gold color contact that goes in her right eye, but other than that, she doesn't really go out of her way to be flashy.
Idol Theme: Metal and rock
Image Song: The Gods Made Heavy Metal
Idol Appeal Strength:
Vocals: 25
Dance: 0
Visual: 70
Charisma: 5

Instruments: Electric guitar
Skills: Cooking, gardening, boxing, animal handling
Abilities: Her guitar playing creates and moves a Mecha suit, that changes depending on what she's playing. Her singing gives the creation energy abilities, like flight and laser blasts.
Vocal Gem: Star shaped, on her right hand.

Likes: Music, Metal, meat, chill, parties, Mecha
Dislikes: Peas, Pop music, vegans, pollution (littering, etc)
Laterality: Righty
Terra Green

A young woman stood alone in a graveyard, her guitar over her shoulder. She had on a new pair of gloves, barely even broken in. She rubbed the center of her right palm absently. "Hey. Trinity. I know I haven't visited for a while, but hey, here I am. A lot's happened since my last visit, you see. I got... this." She took off her right glove to show the new gem. "... Yeah. It's not fair."

With a sigh, the woman turned her eyes to the sky, staring at the clouds passing overhead. A breeze blew by, and her cell phone went off. "Mmn? Aah, that's probably my manager... I'll look at it later." Not like I really told her where I was going.

After a while longer, Terra left the site and pulled out her cell phone to check. It wasn't her manager, but a direct performance invitation, which was strange. "Yeah, I guess I should go. I'll call my manager..." With a quick flip through her contact list, she gave a ring.

~~~
She was just walking down a hallway backstage when she heard the show starting. "Aah, I'm late." She didn't hurry up or anything. For the show she was wearing black cargos with a chain or two hanging off them, and a snug black t-shirt to show off her figure. She carried her guitar of choice for the concert on her back, in a soft case, and she already had her color contact in since she knew time would be tight.
"Hmmm... where do I go?"
Trinity Stratos
"Whatever, huh? Hmm..." Trinity thought for a second before Damian swooped in and ran off with Penny. "Oh, sure. Whatever you want, Damian." She rolled her eyes and shook her head apathetically before she went over to find the music. To replace it, of course.
"Oooh, this is a nice setup... but really? A ball in the Royal City of Fiore should be more than... this." It was a really high-spec magitech sound system with a sophisticated DJ setup, but they were just playing music for now. She waved over some local staff and told 'em to turn it off when she was ready. A party like this deserved a live performance. Nearby, where there was space, she'd make sixty four Energy Make spheres, starting with a large one and splitting it repeatedly in two. The hard part done, she lifted a hand and a purple energy extended straight out from her wrist before it became a conductor's baton. "Bard's Magic. My Orchestra." She lowered the baton and pointed it at the spheres of golden light. Starting from the bottom and swirling upward through them, they became purple, and once purple, their shape began to change. An orchestra slowly emerged from the orbs. The purple light would evaporate off of the formed shapes, leaving fresh, crisp instruments, gleaming and polished in the party's light.
"Whew. That's the hard work out of the way." She waved the attendant to turn down the music, and turned to her instruments. She lifts her arms for their attention, and she waves her baton shortly in the air. They give a single note, all in unison, and then stop.
Drums introduced the first song on her internal playlist. Brass toots followed them in, then the deep bellow of a tuba, before Swing de Chocobo got wholly underway.
Trinity Stratos
@Burthstone@Caits
"Mayt?" Trinity was just on her way in. She must have missed Karn on his way in, so she went without an escort. She was wearing something resembling a conductor's tuxedo, but with more skirt and flowing bits. And pockets. She pulled the collar of her getup aside to show the mark on her clavicle. "He's in my guild. C'mon, Mayt." She waves him to follow along behind her. "You're just in time to watch me begin."
She'd lead the way into the classy party and found herself almost bumping into Penny. "Ah, and here's a Penny. Why the troubled face? Hmmm... If I were to play you a song, would you dance for me, and forget your troubles for the party? I'll take a request, if you have one."
I'm still interested! :o
I left the auto correct typo in my edit because it gave me a chuckle. Thought I'd share.
