Trinity Stratos
Ship to Tenrou
"That sounds splendid. It'll be more fun than lounging around in your own, won't it?" Trinity let the flute up into the air and both the instruments continued to play. She got up, and as she moved, she held the beat. She danced, to conduct the music. It wasn't always a great movement, but she had to stay in the music, to continue the performance.
And so they traveled the ship. She checked all the likely places (rooms at the back of the ship, going lower through the decks), before they finally came to the belly of the ship, currently vacant due to favorable winds. Frustrated, she stopped dancing, "and still no engine room! Where could they have-" she was interrupted as the ship tossed suddenly, throwing her balance. She tripped and landed, seated, on a bench.
"The hell was that? I know we're a rowdy bunch, but that's a little silly." As she got up, she eyed the oars on the wall. "Do you think we should check on them?" She was taking another look at the room, considering something. She pushed herself to her feet and started to walk the room a little, tapping her chin thoughtfully. Her instruments played slowly. This ship was a little smaller than
The Gryphon, that airship she... Admittedly stole. From a dark guild, so who cares.
@Silver FoxMeanwhile, in the mountains near Magnolia...
Ryan Kregor toiled away in the engine room of the airship with his subordinate. Lezuro was a good mechanic, and a decent engineer. You needed that, with airships. Especially when your guild is countries away, and you've no other way back because
certain people had to have their guild marks in obvious places.
Speaking of. Ryan excused himself and crossed the room to the voice pipes. "Hey, Lane. You want some tea or something?" He waited, and got nothing. He signed softly, breathed, and spoke again, "look, I know you don't like guard duty, but we need these repairs done as quickly as possible, and Steph's scouting."
"Oh, I'm back. Ms. Lane said that whatever it was could wait until she got back. I tried to reason with her, but she wouldn't hear it. Something about shopping."
"What." Ryan rubbed his face and sighed.
"I said-"
"No, I heard you. I'll be right up to hear your report."
Lezuro just shook his head as he looked on before going back to work, talking softly to the machine.
