Are Medusa's body hairs actually just tiny snakes?

Bio

I'm a sucker for romance, sci fi, fantasy and just about any modern city with a twist like monster hunting or super powers. Been writing for years, I didn't learn how to read till I was 12 so the moment I got the hang of it, I could not stop. Filling journals with stories one after the other, my younger sister eventually got me into role playing and it created a monster. I will play with you all day if you reply, post for post and will give you as much detail as I can.

Seeing the shine in the armour caused the woman to raise a brow, least he took care of it."Well at least most beasts will be attracted to you than us." A knowing smirk on her face she held out the jobs. "Guess we can take care of a few things while we're out." Looking them over she began to move. "Well time waits for no one, lets go."

Crossing over the wooden bridge, each step creaking under their weight Reema began to see the changes, crossing from sea to land. The mist growing thinner and thinner she could clearly see the sun rising over the horizon, the sky was blue, the mountains wide and the grass lush and green. It was a beautiful place, free and open.
She could see a heard of Kelbi, graceful leaps they passed the hunters by with little to no fear. A path way opening for them she thought to descend down, an open field showing before them with various trails leading to the perfect places. "Not a whole lot of hiding places, but can you imagine challenging a rythalos here?"
A group of wild Aptonoth were grazing a little ways away. It must have been breeding season, a few younger of the creatures followed close to their mothers under the watchful eye of a large male. Pulling out the map she looked through only to remember the two with her. "Aright, where should we go first? The sea, or the caves?"
no, its awesome, we dont have one yet

Looking up Eden heard the voice of a woman, an easy motion she took the rifle that was slung over her back, bringing the scope to her eyes yet her hands were no where near the trigger. "Stay" a raspy voice Aurora nodded, knowing that anyone in the wasteland could be using troubles to get the upper hand on travellers.
There was a good side of this though, Eden being the one to leave Aurora with Brick and Reese meant she was trusting them a little at the vary least. The woman sitting in her chair held the wheels on both side, bated breath as she watched the back of her sister approach the other woman.

Eden on the other hand kept an easy gate, her gaze a bit board she stopped a few feet away, the vault was so close she could see it from the slope they were standing on. Yet instead she raised a brow at the woman who was obviously wounded. "What?" It was all she said, hand on the hip that held her blade she waited for the woman to explain what the issue was. It had to be something, they were right next to a massive camp.
Wohoo we got a ghoul!!!
Have to say, having the interaction between two sets of twins, one blind and one deaf is pretty interesting. But fun, much fun indeed.
Iris and Siris

The twins thought it was time to take a walk, the main reason being was that the voices in their heads were linked, telling them to do so. Her brother picking out some cloths Iris dressed in what Siris said was a pair of riding pants and a pastel green blouse with a vest while her brother was wearing the matching set of a coat and the hat he loved most of all.

Hand on the marble banister, ebony tapping on the floor the twins made their way down stairs. Their house a grand place of portraits, arts, servants and more, yet not a single face of their family could be seen in person. A maid seeing the two hurriedly went to them, still having a need to treat them like children even though they were both almost 20. "Where are you two going?"
It was Iris who spoke, signing her hands to keep the conversation between the three of them. "Out, just down the street to our usual spot, fresh air would be most useful to us."

With that they decided to keep going, only for the voices to start up again.
"Wow your house is like the queen's"
"Not nearly as red though"
"Maybe it be the hat's house?"
"No way, the clocks are all 12 hours backwards!"

Again they held their head, Iris's arm stretched out with her cane she kept tapping, reaching out to grab her brother's sleeve as they made their way down the street. The sound of a dog on her right barking while the rush of cars passing her by caused her to block them out at least for a moment.

Siris on the other hand has been feeling a bit off. The way his sister spoke, looking at her lips he felt they told him more than her hands had done like they had for so long. Still he lead her down the street, guiding her out of the way of a tree and waiting for them to be aloud to cross the street to a small park. A few set tables with chess boards dotting the grass, an easy place to get away without having to deal with a servant or teacher.
Pulling out her chair he let his sister take the spot of white while he sat in front of her. Allowing her to move her knight first, a move that shes always enjoyed.

About to match the game though he found the voices in their heads once more. It was as annoying as they were when it came to the pranks they held as children.
"Good you know how to play chess"
"All the sane ones can play chess"
"But your doing it wrong, you have turned your pawn and moved him, thats two turns you cheated!"

"What do you want!" Iris was done, holding her head she waited, looking at the direction her brother was in and trying to find his hand for some kind of comfort.
"We need to find Alice!"
"Before the red queen find her, oh yes we got to find her"
"the queen or alice"
"the girl"
"oh so the queen"
"No alice!"

"Enough!" She could feel her brother jump slightly at her outburst, a tiny shriek of a sound yet Iris still moved her pawn next. "One of you, explain what happened." She didn't know how much longer her and her brother could put up with them. They were annoying, beyond annoying and already she was gaining a head ache.
"We have been going one by one"
"Its rude to cut someone off after all."
"Alice is a friend of ours and lives here"
"But the red queen wants to chop off her head"
"We got to find her, we got to find alice."

The twins froze, their blood running cold as the same thoughts ran through their minds. She felt Siris take her hand, signing in her skin. "what are we going to do?" Licking her chapped lips she took in a shuddered breath, handling herself well for being dragged into a killer's plan. Signing in the air the two began to speak in silence. "I don't know, there has to be more." Feeling his hand nod in her palm he began to sign again. "Right, maybe it could be fun though."
And thats when it hit them. Finding alice..It could be fun.....
When was the last time they were having fun on their own terms? Sure dancing, music, horse back riding. that was fun, but it was the same they had done over and over. They wanted something new, something dangerous, adventurous.
Something fun.

"What do we have to do?" Her voice taking a hint of mischief she began to smile.
"Find someone new"
"I'm sure hatter is near by"

Looking over to find Roland making his way to the misty veils Reema nodded her head in greeting, the map still in her hands the woman began to sit, laying out the treasure across her lap so she could study it. "Well I'm waiting for you two, not right to leave a brother behind when none of us been in the hunting grounds." Mentioning him over she offered the male to take a look as well. "Seems theres caves, woods and it breaks off into the ocean, they even remade the camp ground for us."

Looking up in thought Reema rummaged through what she read the morning before, the leather book of hunt reports still laying in her room under the covers. "Place is actually a great breeding ground to a large variety, flying, aquatic, reptilian..Gonna be a great place to start out since we won't have to travel to keep this place going."

Honestly she couldn't wait, a bit more than half tempted to wake the sleeping giant in the guild, the woman found herself having to hold her tounge to keep from doing so. Instead she stood, heading to the centre, "I'll be back, just gonna see if there’s in requests." Right next to the forge Reema found herself warmed to the core as she looked over the board, some residents too frightened to speak with the hunters yet left their own requests in neat hand writing. Taking them down since they were the only ones able to do the job she went back to her companion.
"Lets see here, a farm wants us to take care of some jaggi that were ruining their crops, woman needs some honey for a celebration, and there is a kid here wondering if he can have any bones we find."

An answer to both of them was silence, trying to keep her sister from dealing with another spite of anger from her, Eden instead brought out the tiny leather book she read over and over again. a careful look from the red head causing her to growl in her mind as she heard Aurora speak. "Well she's thinking about it at least."
She could never out smart her younger sister, she knew her better than anyone and it was almost unnerving how well she could read into someone once she understood who they were. Setting her jaw Eden ignored the comment for now, holding Aurora up with one arm she continued to read the book.

It was hours till they finally made it. Yet it was Aurora who began to grin at the first sight. Looming heavily in the open stood the Vault door, it's number almost impossible to read, sides rusted shut in stubbornness, keeping all its secrets intact and untouched since it was sealed. "Oh wow, its amazing."
It was times like these she wished she could walk, she would have ran down that hill to scout the best place to set Fuago up. Instead all she done was wait, looking back at her group to see their reactions. Workers all around, digging with sweat streaming down their forms in harsh labour. "Wow Eden you weren’t kidding, it really is stubborn, nothing my girl can't get through."
A triumphant smirk on her features she thanked Chase as he unloaded her chair on a semi smooth path. Thankful for her own means of moving she opened her arms for the weapon only for Chase to decline, claiming Fuago was too heavy for the chair to take both of their weights now. 'Fine, hey Eden, who was the guy that wanted her?"

Looking to her sister the older woman shrugged, scanning the area for the one her memory was serving. "Someone who can't insult people that well."
everyone aright over here or did this die?
dis gonna be fun.
