Acion Nakamiji

"I'm fine Kishimoto-san." Acion replied, as he held onto Tomoe's arm in reassurance, before he brush it off. "But yeah, we should head inside for now. I don't know the scope of all this, but it's best that you stay informed."

With that said, he led the way back into the school building. After settling in for an empty classroom, the winged man finally sat down on a seat nearby, his wings stiffened but neatly wrapping around his body and the tables around him.

So about the topic in context. When dealing with mysterious assassin clans like this, Acion'd say the best option is to keep distance, radio silence, do not communicate the idea to anyone else. But this was his class to begin with. Who knows if any of his friends right here have some sort of connection with these sort of underground gangsters. They might even be the next target. And if these guys make it into the school...he wouldn't want to imagine what would happen.

"So for the record, my sister and I are totally fine. She's already returned to her place right now." Acion began. But now was the time he had to pick words carefully, knowing these girls easily worries over people, which he did not hate - but in fact appreciate it. "The case that we were in is a group of assassins. We, along with some of our classmates and my sister's hero group, clashed with them. Suffice to say, they were pushed back for now. But some of our classmates were injured during the whole fight. They are currently in the hospital."

The euphemism was a little strong here. In truth, all the students were in hospital right now, except for one. Who else.

Despite of what Roy had already told him, and repeated for like the umpteenth time already, the shame of running away midst battle still plagued the trainee's mind. But he simply brushed this off this moment. Lamenting would not bring anyone anywhere.

"They are fine now. I just came back from it. No one's in critical condition as far as I know."

Hatsu Residence, Kurosuoba

He usually wouldn't be wide awake at this early hour. He had always been a night owl for the majority of his lifetime. But now he was forced to discard that lifestyle, whether or not he liked it or not. It was indeed a difficult period to live through, but if discomfort wouldn't kill you, something else would. And so here he was, before most inhabitants of Kurosuoba, wandering through the Internet to kill his time before the clock bell the six chime to signal the new day. After scrambling through the news and some interesting online videos, he eventually came back to his usual website: a place where only intellectuals and curious individuals pass through. It was a website designed as a forum format, where visitors could create a discussion page with any topics of science, and the users there, usually older university students or teachers, but sometimes an outlier like Amari, would try their best to answer them. In recent months, he had already been an active member of the site, and his answers had been quite well-received among the askers.

He was already cleanly dressed for school already. His backpack was already packed and ready. He still had ten minutes to kill before he step into his new world. And what better ways to do that than assisting those in needs.

"For that problem..." He mumbled to himself. "If the function is larger or smaller than a real number, then its integration should also be the same."

He proceeded to put everything he just said into the computer screen. His ten fingers lightly tapped the keys as letters consecutively popped up on the monitor. From time to time, he would be obliged to press a few keys at once, sometimes up to three, which was the only interruption of the smooth movements of his palms. Once he had conveyed the idea, he just needed to put the numbers in display, and everything was done. The guy should be able to finish it after that instruction.

He then went on to solve one more before the bell rang. Six exact hit. Each bell echoed throughout the house and beyond. It was quite an antique clock, ran completely mechanically. But it worked well. Hell, if maintained right, it could even outlive the entire family itself.
Then, he heard a knock on his door.

"It's me."

It's just mom.

"The door's unlocked." He simply replied, as he powered down his laptop.

Opened the door was this young woman, dressed fully in her work attire - a knee length neat skirt and long sleeved shirt, all in black, with silky white braided hair let down to her shoulder. She held a tray with two cups of hot tea brewing white fumes.

"Are you ready for the first day of high school?" She asked as she placed the tray onto his desk, her voice as sweet and patient as ever.

"Yes Kaa-san. You know I already have everything settled last night?" Amari replied

"Even that?" She asked, as her son eyed the floor briefly, a little frowning.

"Yeah, all ready." Then replied.

His mom only nodded with a large smile as she took the cup of tea with her delicate hand, sitting down on an extra chair before sipping it slightly. Amari did the same, but took a large gulp than her.

"Is this ginger?" He asked.

"Yes, you've guessed it. It helps a lot."

A ghost of a smile escaped his lip. Despite the appearance, in recent years, his mother had been in the occupied zone, as the stress of both professional and personal life hitting her all at once. It wasn't easy for everyone to handle. Any weak-minded individual could be driven to the brink of poverty at any given day. Going through all of this by herself was already an achievement of herself. And yet these very small things she still managed to devote the time to provide.

The mother could see it. She placed the cup of tea onto the tray again.

"Don't worry too much about it Amari. If you don't forget your routine, you should be fine."

"No I won't forget it. Thank you, Okaa-san." He replied as he stood up from his chair, his tea finished. "I should be going now."

"Do you need me to give you a ride?" She kindly offered.

Amari stood in thoughts for one moment. "No thanks. This should be good exercise."

"Enjoy your day then!" She waved him goodbye as he left his room, and the house in general.

The school was rather not that near. It can take a walker thirty minutes, and a biker ten to fifteen. But Fujioka was the only place that accepts him now. Unforeseen circumstances really was a cruel thing. But as a common walker like him, it should not be a problem. While on the trail to his new second home, the man's thought wandered the questions. High school huh? Would it be hard? Would he make it through. Probably. People usually quotes Amari's unusually bright mind as a math student as assurance, and they did have a point. You wouldn't see a pool of knowledge like him even in university level. But they still didn't address fully. His bulb in other subjects were just as common as a normal high schooler, sometimes even dimmer.

Well, as his reputation goes, it shouldn't be a problem. But then what about friends. Friends...It struck a bad chord. Just like a mathematical equation, when the number went irrational, it became almost unbearable to calculate by hand. He hadn't bothered reconnecting with any of his old friends after that incident. Well almost any. He just plainly didn't care about them anymore. They didn't even give a damn when he was away. Perhaps the only one who dis was Ryuuto. And he was probably the only one. Now that he was in context, where did that guy go anyway? Amari was pretty sure with that straight A record, he'd be transferring to a gifted school or something in some large cities. But just as the thought passed his mind...

"Wait, is that?" He briefly saw this silhouette of a figure. "Ryuuto?"

The guy didn't hear him from the distance of course, as he turned the corner. Amari found his sight slightly hard to believe. His strides widened. Nearly running to the corner of the street, the confirmation was indeed surprising. It was him...

And to an even greater surprise, he was lying flat on the ground, facing a tower of a person.

"Ryuuto?" Amari asked, before turning his eyes over to the Goliath in front of him. "I'm sorry, do you guys need any help?"

At least this tinker wasn't alone at being an outsider. He could notice a red-tagged player tagging along with the group as well. The girl may be younger, he didn't know through that skull mask. But he knew the girl was also extended an invitation just like he had been. While the foreign educated man would remain vigilant around this mysterious figure, he wouldn't be unsympathetic to not give her an opportunity.

Before his observation of the girl was noted, the dungeoning had begun. With the teleportation initiated, Steven unstrapped the new sniper rifle he had just invented the day before. With the smell of grease and wood still apparent in the new product, the man with the heavy glass decided to give this weapon a test. With his orders being given clear as the bright sky, with no ambiguity allowed to be exploited, Steven immediately turned his attention to the boar on the left.

"Alright." He gave his teammate the signal that he was ready to go

Steven stood at the far back of the entire group, as it was evident that his new weapon boasted the range far higher than any of the ranged weapon any players in this party possessed. He took his aim carefully, waiting until the Keen Eye icon flashed. Then he open fired on the said boar that he had been eyeing at for the whole time, the stock of the gun punched on his shoulder. He wasted no time rotating the muzzle upward to reload. The process was long and quite tedious, but Steven should be the one knowing that best since day 2.

Summary:
-Steven moves to the back of the formation
-Takes extra time with aim (Keen Eye activation)
-Fires at boar 1 (-1 Ironshot, -1 Gunpowder)
-Reloads (currently)
Acion Nakamiji

Oh, so it's like a simulation program, that runs along when we are still studying, if I'm not interpreting his incorrectly." Acion crossed one of his arm, as the other one run through his lips. "These people have a lot of nice ideas."

Acion did not know how hard it was to be a support student, as he was always destined to be a hero student. His physicality and hard grind had given him more than enough to enroll in any courses, and following the family's tradition, he would either choose only the Hero, or nothing at all. But from a theoretical standpoint, it didn't take much to understand, other than the unholy knowledge that no one could ever illustrate it better than by living on the face of the Earth: that life was not a fair game. And knowing Hitomi's personality, he could always imagine her helping her old classmates.

"You did?" Acion replied to Tomoe's remark about Hitomi's cat challenge. If he wasn't wrong, cat and sheep's wools do get along nicely. At least for the cat. Though it would be hard to imagine how the sheep would feel.

And here he was given the opportunity to see it for his own eyes

"Let me see...that..." For one second, it appeared as if Acion had gone into hibernation. He did not blink, turn his eyes away, move his hand or even breathe. That pose, how the hell did she get that? The only explanation would be she bent over hard or was lying flat on the ground to take that. She looks cute though, even in that situation. He wondered if he could...

SLAP!

You'd thought that was the girl who slapped him. But no.

'I'm such a disgrace.' The winged man thought to himself after a self-inflicted punishment. He told himself he'd reflect after this, but it wouldn't be so simple this time.

Noticing how stupid he acted in front of the two beautiful ladies, he turned back to the two of them

"Excuse me you two." He said as he straightened his shirt. Thankfully, he could freely change the subject due to Hitomi's question earlier. "I was volunteering for the day, with my older sister. At first just normal mundane stuff like patrolling the city and such..."

Then it struck him. The, perhaps, most memorable, and most frightening, event of the day: the fight with the Shadow Clan. The fight that sent pretty much a third to a half of the 1-A class into the hospital. The fight in which Acion was the only class member to get out unscathed. Should he tell these two about it? He could lay low and play it off, but rumors would travel quickly, especially when a number of students hospitalized. He could say it now, but it wouldn't do much but make them worry. Moreover, he was concerned if the Shadow Clan affair got leaked, it could lead to unforeseen consequences.

"And then I and my sister got into a case. A big one I would say. I could tell you two about it right now, but I want to be discreet to everybody around, since it concerns all of us. If you want to hear it."

Alright, I'll put this up over here for you guys to assess. Don't worry he won't be your opponents anytime soon. Probably the final boss, but I won't be crushing you completely. I know my place and my role.

Hello gentlemen. I recognize some old faces from the previous Innocence Lost here. I've been checking this one out for a while and I'm quite enthusiastic to bring back my old villain from the old RP. If you guys don't mind me doing that.
Ok I changed mine to a lighter and more dull blue.

Steven wasn't really supposed to be in this meeting. But now that he was unable to separate from his college friend's grasp ever since they both met, he was dragged into the meeting. He hadn't asked for the opportunity to join the guild yet, but his presence would be noticed sooner or later, so he may not need to speak up than necessary.

Just like yesterday, he wore the grand white fancy suit and cloak to the meeting, along with a long musket hanging behind his back. He was mostly a background character throughout the whole ordeal, standing behind Xenos, the mysterious white glasses only contributed to his seeming absent aura, silently hearing everyone making their opinions heard. The atmosphere changed multiple times, as people were in debate over some sort of murder. Player murder. Presumably, and almost definitely, of someone within the guild. Steven quietly assessed the situation. It appeared that the murder was committed by a, or multiple, high level players. And they were residing in the dungeon, all silently waiting for their opportunity to strike at a vulnerable player.

Debates tensed. Most people appeared to be the cautious player, as they preferred to be absolutely sure to be able to face this Valentine guy first. There was one guy who thought about going after him though. He was not wrong with his opinions though. Whereas the others were progressing, they were also progressing as well. And with the knowledge that they reached level 15 before any of the guild members here could reach 10, meant that they could have a good grinding spot, but can basically grind a lot faster than Steven, Xenos or any other guild members can. And everyday meant that any players could die to their hands.

Personal view on the situation? Steven did not fully agree with any sides. He knew he needn't draw any necessary attention to him, but this seemed like something that required proper assessment. And every opinions mattered. Having processed his thoughts, Steven made his step up from behind the guild's tinker and raised his index finger, trying to grab everybody's attention.

"If I may have a word."

Just like how he practiced to defend his PhD thesis, he wasn't shy to speak in public, though his position in the guild right now may give this man a little bit of intimidation. But he swallowed all of that and hid his own fear behind the thick pair of glasses as he made his argument known.

"I am not a part of the guild yet, but I figure I should make my opinions heard on this matter." Steven said. "As far as I know, these guys are residing in a dungeon together, and is a lot higher levelled than us."

He pushed his glasses up a bit as he addressed. "Normally, I'd be on the cautious side and grind carefully, but have we considered that he reached level 15 before us. That there is a chance that he knows how to level up faster than a normal player could. So that no matter how quickly we grind, he is faster than us. Like this man says." He looked at the man who agreed to going after Valentine. "He is not going to wait for us to level up. Unless he is a masochist. But..."

He placed his fingers on his chin. "Going after him wouldn't be a good idea either. To go after a group of high levelled player, we need almost absolute knowledge of their capabilities, position and routine. If we go there and make ourselves passive to their ambush, then we are dead to every last man. We need to be on the offensive the majority of the time, or the very least the element of surprise. If possible, but unlikely I would say, apprehend them one by one, separately. But if we decides to go after them now, then they must be facing away from us."

"My argument for the matter is: lay low and collect more information before making our move." He didn't know how far the sense of justice and vengeance for this Karma guy could take these guys, but in this situation, personal feelings are not allowed. Only careful analysis.

"But feel free to ignore this player's opinions if you don't see fit." He concluded, but did not step down. He wanted to see their reactions. Because this could very much affect him directly if he decided to join the guild.
I don't mind going for a more purplish color, but there are some particular reasons why I choose that color. If you guys insist on staying with blue, then I'll consider adjusting it a bit
