The comments about anime, whether intentional prodding, or true confusion, met some silent irritation within the young man. But He chose to continue onward with what's important. Figuring out the lay out of the town, and getting a safe base to operate out of.

The older man seemed to pause and wrinkle his nose is uncertainty. No doubt debating o if he would really get paid...when he notices the jab in his side with a slight grunt. Talon would look up too, faster than the drunk man, and just in time to see his companion become visible again. Something to note for future conversations.

He looks between them a bit, grinning and immediately talking again so that the man doesn't lash out too much. Besides, it's a good idea. "I don't know, I just got into town, but I was just asking this guy to show me around...But I bet the bar would be a good place to get information too"

The old drunkard's expression turns between confusion and a sour expression, "Aye, I'll show ye to the local tavern...then ye can get off my case and go bother someone else."

Nudging himself past the two outworlders, he grumbles about rude stupid kids getting lost all the time, and shuffled off to a short, but dark alleyway not far from the spawn point.

With hardly any room to think, and movements made smooth long ago out of practice, his hand snakes over to a small container and flicks a sugar cube into the cu. The mug gets two stirs and then handed over to her.

He's just about to reach for his own mug again when she calls him out, entices him to slake his need to know. A deep breath and a slow exhale, his hand withdraws from the mug as he turns to fully face her this time. He had wanted his cup of coffee...but... his eyes blaze as if she stoked a fire, and he seemed to immediately lose. All of the questions ran through his mind, but there's only one that is immediately relevant. It demands to be asked.

"What the hell was that? Why the fuck do you have the name..." He grits his teeth, he can not. Invoking a demons name has consequences. Lilith is an exception, she is sealed away. But the devil...Sammael...Satan...The commander of all that is evil...

He still runs free. Mostly.

Adam's eyes see nothing but this girl now. He knows the room like the back of his hand. It is, perhaps the best place for him to be in sudden conflict. He cant help but go over everything he knows about her, once again not feeling any signs of her being or being possessed by a demon. A few scenarios go through his mind. As well as the fact he had made an agreement with her, his instincts also bring to mind several ways that he could end this quickly.

"...Who chose your middle name?" he tries asking a different way, at least completing a question before anything else can be done.

Astra smiles slightly, reassured by Aura and nods, looking back towards Bane...after a pause, she lightly takes his arm, "Certainly...I'm in your good hands, General"

Well im struggling a bit with the ani-moo commentary, because it was kind of rude and my character would react...but its kind of n a way where he cant because he's moved on to focus on this old man..and i kind of dont like having seperate timelines/conversations in the same posts, i like to try to keep conversations linear

Peter nodded a little, understanding his prince, and beginnignt o think on how to address that issue later, while keeping an eye on his charge.

Astra collects herself and smiles, charmed and slightly amused with Ash's excitement, "Yes... its amazing that you can call for help so easily now. I hope you understand how unique that ability is...you should take some time to explore it and get to know your new friends better sometime." She keeps a soft smile, nodding to the wolves as she mentions 'friends'. It wasn't any of her people, but she couldn't help but point out what she knew the girl needed.

And then as Bane mentioned waht they still needed to do, chi, astra, and peter all nodded in agreement and gathered around to prepare to leave as a group. Peter spared one last look at his prince before stepping over closer to Ash's side and bowing his head to her, "shall we?"

Astra looked over at Dante too and waved slightly, "Take care Dante...don't push yourself too hard while Im gone..."
