Ack, and forgot to mention if I already didn't.

@Brose Feel free to chuck your stuff in the CHAR tab.
Yeah, it's pretty bad.

Okay:

Team House - I'll post there when @vancexentan does.

Team Newspaper - keep watching for @chukklehed and Tsubaki's plan

Team Park - do you want me to wait for you first, @liferusher?

Team Drama - soon, alex will be having the time of his life and the rest of drama will probably have to go find him (maybe regroup with newspaper)

Team Ryoaijin - waiting on @Mistress Dizzy

@Cerberus0807 Say, what plans you got for your fella?

And just like that, it was over.

The girls' attacks had struck true, and with final, tortured cries, the two burning figures crackled for the last time, those licking, beautiful flames extinguished like a candle in the wind. Charred black, the humanoid frames jerked. And their bodies fell apart, crumbling into a black dust that faded away in the smoke.

And just like that, they had won.

The heat of their struggle was fading away, the sizzling, faint embers once dancing against those monotonous grey walls disappearing into the void almost as if they had never been, with only the tiniest of sooty marks sign of their existence. The two monsters of fire were gone, as was that ghastly boy in the mask that floated behind the mass that stole away Alexander. Their foes had either long disappeared, or vanquished on this auspicious day.

And just like that, they were alone.

Free.

Safe.

Yet for Kaede Yamamoto, his mind's sharpness only intensifying as the adrenaline and magic rushed out of his veins, there was a reason why he had come to help them. Why he had chosen to save them. Why he had run so far, endured such pains. Why he was here.

What he couldn't fail.

Yet for Kaede Yamamoto, that answer, sinking into the growing black pits of his heart, seemed to grow more obvious by the second.

"Was ... Is this everyone? All of you? Nobody else?"

A trembling question breathed through a gasping mouth.

Sasori and Co. Investigations

"Don't worry, champ. Carrying another kid ain't gonna hang a red light on my doll," said the emerald-haired detective in a tone that seemed to carry a pride, adjusted his hat snugly over his conker one last time before pulling open the agency door. "Fellas might think she's a dumb bucket, but their peepers don't get to see the good play she gets."

The newly gathered crew of kiddos, upon exiting after Sasori, would catch an eyeful of the white Toyota HiAce parked right outside. A vehicle lightly dented when some piker with pizzas tried to win the wristwatch. For some of them, there was no need to touch up on whose it was. Not when they'd already taken a gander before.

"Is Nuts and Bolts' staying in the back?" he asked even as he tried to liberate the keys from one of his pockets. "Thing didn't drop a dime. Not an easy rube at all, but thinks bearcat's the bees' knees. Don't want it scooting too far."
@Ayazi Go for it then.

And yeah, my procrastination is at maximum.

Not getting enough sleep doesn't help either because you're too tired to effectively do anything.

Sleep more than two hours a night kiddos.

A few blocks away from the park? bGuREjBEyQ qhATrbA

The knocking against the ajar door gave no response from any hypothetical inhabitant of the house, instead merely pushing the door further in. It creaked, the dull yet audible sound cutting through the eerie, unnatural pall that had fallen upon them in the strange golden world. Nothing leapt out from the darkness, however; the tiling of the genkan was only further revealed, black and white squares interlocked unevenly with one another, before ending at the raised wooden platform that melded into the brown hallway floor. There was one pair of shoes sitting on that boundary, brown boots that had been removed before entering the house further.

Yet something had scuffed the varnished wooden floor, the soft brown dirtied by impressions of another type of shoe.

Footsteps that disappeared further into the murky darkness.
@Ayazi

Give her at least another weakness.

Also, everyone, posts hopefully tonight AEST. I've been having a really crappy procrastination period over the last week.
I don't know what's in the house so I can't really reply with anything significant.

No worries, I'll be getting a reply up there.

Gratia Mindaro - Armoury

"Surprising description to receive from a fucking lion."

Gratia Mindaro's tone was as flat and emotionless as always, her cadence changing not even a single iota as she unravelled a coil of wiring, one hand reaching for the clippers even as the thin conductors slowly flowed through the fingers of the other. Though she had finally deigned to address her newest teammate, the stoic Mistralese girl's onyx eyes did not flicker his direction even once, and instead continued to focus on the project sitting on the desk.

The scent of burning solder was still detectable, the iron currently resting on its stand rather than held between her hands. Her priority for the time being was to set up the rangefinder in her contraption, and until the wiring was completed, there was no need for her to make use of it for the time being. Not that it would be long; she had already planned out the shape of the circuit, and a rough sketch, its lines sharp and notes written in a clinical, almost mechanical handwriting, sat nearby, ready to remind her of what steps she needed to take. The Frankenstein-esque creation would still look incredibly shitty, and the arrangement of the wires only contributed to that, but the judgement of the ignorant masses was far too unimportant to consider.

It was a prototype, so it could look like a fetus after a run-in with a coathanger for all she cared. Turning it into something that looked more respectable than the vomit-inducing crap in Venetia's wardrobe could wait until later. Making sure it would work was more important.

No, it would definitely work.

She knew it would.

All she needed to do was, once the prototype had been completed, to rid it of any annoying bullshit that could crop up during operation.

A piece of wire was clipped off, and Gratia lowered the end to another pin, carefully noting the change in current being measured by a multimeter.

She was making progress.
Shuai Taidan - Grimm Studies

The door at the back of the lecture hall clicked open, and a solitary figure immediately slipped through, surreptitiously glancing around the room even as he made his to a quiet seat far from the front where the lecturer for the class had yet to appear. He was a pretty young man, his handsome and delicate face framed by long, flowing hair. There was no ponytail today - no scrunchies, headbands or any other accessories were present - and instead the pink-streaked brown was on full display, dropping down around his shoulders like a tsunami of strawberry-chocolate syrup. Two long, extended parts of his fringe dropped around his cheeks, and a simple, thin cowlick drooped from the top of his head.

Clad in a militaristic uniform, the young man shuffled into his chair, plonking down without taking out any books, or really, even having anything to carry learning materials in. The reason being that Shuai Taidan, senior student, had absolutely no need to turn up to a first-year class. He didn't even have a class this period.

Yet despite it, the violet-eyed fellow decided that it would be fun to sneak into the back of a class and see what the youth of today was learning.
