Rhys is 6.3 ft tall and well-built. He does not look like a bodybuilder, but his taekwondo and climbing left his muscles well-defined. He had an accident that left him hospitalized for a while, and he's slowly rebuilding now. There are two noticeable deep scars on his left arm. One on his bicep, the other on his shoulder. Both resulting from the accident and the subsequent surgeries. This whole body is littered with tiny scars from either his job or his sports. He often rolls his bad shoulder, and sometimes loses strength in his left arm because of it. He has a tattoo of a willow, for his sister, Willow.

He likes dressing up but is usually found in jeans or chino pants and basic t-shirts or button-ups. Owns an obscene amount of sweatpants and workout clothes.

Rhys is a bit.. cocky. He's known as a ladies man and while he himself doesn't agree nor like the blatant disrespect around that term, he's also not one to correct people. Let them think what they think about him. If they would give him a chance though, they would find a thoughtful and kind man. One's who up for a good time. Generally, he's laid back, likes to be around friends, likes to laugh, have a beer, have fun. Doesn't like spending time alone. His work-ethic is great, and both in his 9-5 and his part-time job as a stunt-double, he is diligent and meticulous. As he with his sports. When climbing, you need good communication, and leadership. Being unserious there could cost someone greatly. So, it allows him to find the balance on when he can joke around with a beer in his hand, or when he needs a clear mind and sharp deduction skills.

He's always looking for the next thrill, but he's a softie for his mum and little sister. He would slap your ass, but ask permission first.

While generally optimistic, his work accident and subsequent recovery time and the pain that comes with, sometimes leave him as a bit of a grouch when the pain bothers him. It's not a topic he likes to discuss much, either, and he'll generally joke it away by telling people that they 'should've seen the other guy'.

Rhys was tough shit. Until he wasn't. He had never been the teacher's pet or a student that caught the attention of his teachers. Or well, he did, but not in the ways a parent would be proud about. He had normal grades, did what he was told (generally), and was a good brother to his younger sister; Willow. But, without any real ambition, Rhys kind of went through life trying to find what would make him tick. He didn't have a career path set out for him since he was a boy, nothing spoke to him when he was going to job fairs, and no degree sounded exciting enough to go for. One thing was for sure though; he excelled at everything physical.

It started young, when Rhys was hard to get back inside once he was out there running, playing, being on his bike, and climbing trees. Her parents tried to negate the more dangerous stuff by putting him in sports; basketball, taekwondo, and climbing. Anything to keep the boy from running circles in his room, his hands itching for something to do. The latter sport intrigued him the most, and all throughout high school and college, Rhys was often found in climbing halls, or scaling cliffs with his friend Axel. His major was also to no one's surprise; physical. Physical Therapy, that is. He was smart enough for it, and Rhys finally straightened out a bit. And while he dropped basketball, he continued Taekwondo and climbing, and added a new sport; mountain biking. Anything for the thrill, really, though that particular hobby got him an unexpected side gig; stunt-double. He was originally drafted for his looks and skill, but his name quickly became a known one. While he wasn't famous, and liked to keep it that way, he was known for doing his work well and diligently. His normal 9-5 had to make more room for being paid to jump through a window made out of sugar, or tumbling down stairs or getting beat up by some hot-shot actor. Despite being injured many times, Rhys had found what made him tick.

Until it nearly cost him everything. On one particular shooting, there had already been a weird feeling in Rhys's chest, something was off. But nothing could have prepared him for the disaster that followed. While tumbling off a building, two safety features failed. One being the lined that would soften his fall, and two being the cushion at the bottom. The first broke, the second deflated too fast, making Rhys landing a hard one. He broke multiple ribs in his body, got a concussion, and had to undergo several surgeries. While injuries are a given in this profession, the negligence on set had been clear. So clear, the judged ruled in his favour and granted him a massive payout for the damages.

A smidge of that payout was now going to a vacation in Carabo. Willow pushed him to go, to relax, to warm up his now healed bones. Rhys didn't have the heart to tell her no, nor that he was planning on enjoying the more thrilling things of the island as opposed to lazying around in the sun. He needed to feel some thrill again. His recovery was long, and recovery is a big word.

It can have it's downsides and upsides. I think with a small group it may inspire some cool events among each other though, but ofcourse up to you.

Is there a posting cycle, as in, post's in by this and this deadline?
Well, small group can be cozy and better to deal with/plan with! Will there be a Discord?

He's not fully done (have to work on appearance more), but here's the gist of it.

<Snipped quote by Days>

There are only a few days left until the deadline, so if you get it in by this Sunday you should be golden. Provided it gets accepted along with the others, of course.

I’ll have one posted before the end of sunday!

I'm very intrigued to join! That's still possible, yeah?

Location: Appartment 4B. Sadie's and Ember's apartment.
Interactions: Sadie @Sailorsadie, Christian @wolflover, Mentions: Rhys @Pyxis, Angel @Pyxis, Isabelle @LostDestiny

Ember had laughed at Sadie and her liquor bottles. She wasn't surprised. While Ember wasn't a drinker, she'd definitely appreciate something stronger tonight to keep her nerves in check. After taking in a deep breath, Ember ensured her hair was sitting well, and received a peck on the cheek from Sadie. "Love you too, Sades." She couldn't express how much she appreciated her friend right now, but she had a feeling Sadie knew in any case. What would she do without her?

Ember followed in after the hyperactive blonde and found herself looking around Christian's apartment. She smiled softly to herself. It was exactly how she imagined it would be. While he was her newly acquired gym buddy, she had never found her way into his apartment before.

"Guys, this is my girl Ember. Embs, you know Christain and Rhys. That's Jasmine and Isabelle and Angel."

The nervous woman swallowed as she let her eyes glide over the people in the room, landing on Rhys first. She flashed him a smile, feeling comfortable that she had another person to talk to whom she knew. She'd defiantly talk to him a bit. Then, she left her eyes go over to Jasmine and Isablle. She'd seen Jasmine before, Christian talked about her, but she had never really interacted with her. Still, she looked like they would be able to get along great. Isabelle was her roommate, that's how much she knew from Sades and Christian. With a small wave from her free hand, Ember spoke. "Hey guys, thank you for inviting me." She said to the group that had gathered.

Turning, she let her eyes fall on the last woman in the room. She was confused for a moment, she hadn't heard of an 'Angel' before, but then she remembered Rhys talking about her. Right, Rhy's roommate. Lili.. something? She looked a bit intimidating, but Ember also flashed her a smile. Remembering the items in her hand, she walked forward to the kitchen and placed the containers there. Looking at Chris, she said "Brought some small things." Everything else that was standing there was much more elaborate, and Ember eyed the good food, and what seemed like guacamole with chips. Her food suddenly seemed very underrated. So this was an American Thanksgiving potluck, huh? Hey eyes went over Sadei's numerous bottles, and the other food. She spotted the soju, and smiled. She did drink that.

The Dutch woman's stomach made a loud noise, but thankfully, Christian was starting the meal. A soft chuckle left her when Christian mentioned his cooking smells. It had been torture, but looking in front of her, Ember could see that it was worth it. She took place next to Sadie, before raising her glass at Christian's speech.

Deciding to be bold, she spoke over the table to Christian. "This looks amazing, all of it. Thank you for doing the most of it, Chris. And I cannot wait to try the rest, too." She ended with looking at the people around the table.

Location: Noah's dorm room, Edgebaston Hall

Noah stood in her room. Her door was open, and students finding their old rooms or locating their new ones kept walking by, their chatter filling the hallway. With her right hand, she carefully dabbed a daycream on her face, infused with SPF. She had arrived back to Edgebaston yesterday, after spending the last week of the summer at her parent's house. The now Junior had spent the entire summer at Edgebaston, except the last week. She had told her parents it was because she wanted to study well and focus on her training, which she could do better at school.

Which, wasn't a lie in itself. But Noah was good at her studies and didn't need the extra time. Instead, she spend a lot of time with her best friend Erik, who wasn't leaving Edgebaston either. The whole summer, they had spent time working together, hanging out together, and taking bike rides on his bike. Noah felt free, then. She ate things her father would get a heart arrest from if he knew the calories and did things like jumping off a cliff into water, which would just straight up send her parents to the grave.

She had arrived a day earlier because she had lied to her parents, saying the running team was holding a meeting. Of course, they let her go earlier, and Noah had returned to her dorm room she had spent the rest of the summer in, as well. She had closed her always-opened door though, as she got a text from another track member that Alistair and Persephone were doing some twisted live stream. Curious, Noah had opened Instagram and watched it. It was painful, to say the least. Noah couldn't believe she and Persephone shared the same ex, Seb. Noah and Persephone couldn't be further apart as people. She could barely keep her eye from twitching as she thought of the woman. Noah wanted to avoid her at all costs, surely she had a target on her back the size of Texas for having dated Seb. It became a bit more complicated now that Seb was staying to repeat his senior year, but the two had remained friends and it was nice to have a familiar person around next to Erik.

The young athlete smiled a little to herself. It was warm in her dorm, the sun shining down on her side of the building. A small hiss escaped her as she took off the sweater that was covering her sport's top, the fabric brushing against the sensitive skin around her tattoo. The line of text was on her forearm, just under the crook of her elbow. She smiled down at it. It was a bother to keep it hidden from her parents the past week, but her mother was big on sun protection and they didn't find it odd that Noah had opted to wear long-sleeved versions of her sport-tops and t-shirts. She couldn't hide it forever, of course. But she didn't regret her act of rebellion.

She had once asked Seb when they were still dating about his tattoos. Had trailed the outlines of the ones on his chest with her finger as the pair relaxed on his bed in his room, marvelling at their patterns. It had reminded her a little of his doodling. She had asked him innocently if it had hurt, and he gave her a vague tough guy answer. So Noah didn't have any fears going in with Erik to get matching tattoos together. A spur-moment decision after a beer too much. After having pinky sworn to be best friends.

But she had cried, complained and crushed Erik's hand holding hers into smithereens. He had made it seem so easy too, going first. He even laughed at her a bit, too, and she had cussed him out. Still, she had no regrets, and her finger carefully brushed over the now almost healed tattoo stating how he keeps her wild, and she keeps him safe. She couldn't wait to see him again.

She so badly needed to complain about her week at him. And, as if knowing Noah's thoughts, a notification arrived on her phone. Taking her phone from the pocket in her gymshark shorts, she opened the e-mail from her father. Her eyes scanned through it, but it was just another research on diet for runners and joggers, and her stomach grumbled for some unhealthy food in return. The whole week was basically terrible when it came to food. She needed a cheeseburger, badly. She barely had time to scroll through the e-mail before her father's face showed up as a caller. Mentally steeling herself, she picked up. "Dad?"

"Ah, Jiji. Did you see my email? Do you know you can find that brand there, I'm certain it will help with your intake and power levels, especially during bursts. I took a look at the footage I shot of you last week, your form there was not good enough, do you need to get new shoes, becau-

"Dad, I have to go, I'm about to run, staying on top of it of course!" Noah lied, she didn't want to get into this now.

"Oh right, okay, okay. Have a good first day! And remember to stretch first, or the muscles wont-"

Noah rolled her eyes. "Bye dad." Frustrated, she hung up. Sure, she was blessed with parents who cared about her. They were still together, loved each other and supported Noah with her hobbies. Or at least they did, until her dad hyper-fixated on her running and forgot that Noah had to be a teen in other ways, too. All he cared about was her studies and running, and all her mother cared about was pleasing Noah's dad. She couldn't complain, she knew she couldn't. She got a scholarship, for Christ's sake. She was good at things.

But it wasn't what she wanted.

Noah swallowed and brought her hands up to her face, trying to get her stress out. It was only the first day away from home, her Dad would become a little lighter on the communication soon, in her experience. She took her phone in hand, and her small wallet and left her room, locking the door behind her before putting the key in the small pocket of her tight shorts. Then, she walked out of Edgebaston Hall, needing food.

Location: Appartment 4B. Sadie's and Ember's apartment.

Ember had rolled her eyes at Sadie, but a smile played on her face. She knew Sadie would gloat about Ember asking for help, finally, but her excitement was endearing to Ember, and she stood awaiting the outfit Sadie would pick. Ember mentally challenged herself right there and then, in Sadie's doorway, that whatever Sadie picked, she would wear. She needed to get out of her comfort zone, needed to challenge herself more. She just found herself praying to God it wasn't a skirt she'd constantly have to pull down to feel comfortable in. And while Ember wasn't a prude nor ashamed of her body, she didn't want to wear too revealing clothes.

She looked as her already beautifully dressed friend disappeared into the walk-in closet. She didn't know many people at the party, but she knew Christian, her gym buddy that made her feel safe and kept men from ogling her too much. She'd seen Jasmine before, and she knew Rhys. Somewhat. In a weird way.

She hadn't expected to almost run someone over on her bike one day, but Ember was utterly lost, slightly panicked, and then she almost ran over Rhys on his skateboard. She hadn't expected to find the author of one of her favourite books in front of her bike as she hit the brakes, her wheels stretching to a stop and almost launching herself off the bike, but she recognised him right away. Apologised profusely at him. When she admitted she was lost, and her phone had died, she told him her address without thinking. Rhys had smiled at her then, admitting he lived in the same building. They went back together, him on his skateboard, her on his bike.

They had spent a couple of times together navigating LA like that. And Ember appreciated it more than she'd let Rhys know. She was excited to see him, felt safe to see Christian, and felt absolutely scared to meet the rest. At the very least, Ember was happy to be entering the party with Sadie at her side.

When Sadie came back out of the closet, a garment in hand, Ember pushed herself off the doorway post and stood straight, eager to see what Sadie had chosen for her. She looked so happy and excited, Ember couldn't possibly say no to anything even if it was fucking terrible. "It will look absolutely stunning on you." And it wasn't terrible, at all. The Dutch woman chuckled, grateful that Sadie had chosen something with pants, and not a skirt. It actually looked.. really nice. "I- wow. Okay." Ember took the jumpsuit from Sadie before embracing her in a one-armed hug. "Thank you Sadie. I'll go try it on. We have to leave soon."

Racing back to her bedroom, Ember put on the jumpsuit. It hugged her body just right and flattered her shoulders. The decollete was a bit more than Ember was used to, but even she had to admit it perfectly showed off her assets without being obtuse about it. Since the jumpsuit was black, Ember decided to go for a colourful orange pumps. A pair she had bought, but never worn. Fuck it, now's the time.

Ember spend a little more time fixing her hair and make-up, wearing a lovely nude colour on her lips, before leaving her bedroom again. She grabbed the containers of food she had left in their kitchen and called out to Sade. "Sades! I'm ready to leave."
