Hmmm...this is a very good question. For Tanrith, I know that for sure that if he did, he would probably only jump on, like...a couple years after everyone else has been doing it for years. xD

"Wait, you're telling me I can meet new people from all over just by using this little machine? Man, who even invented this thing, what a great idea! I wonder if there's a way I can improve it at all...."

Is this how this works? Oh yeah every letter I push shows up in there, cool! Okay hi! Tanrith here! The Lightning Fang of the Stormclaws!
Tanrith

"Um...wh-what else do I say?"

Everyone remember to make the most of your life! Don't let the rough patches keep you down!
Tanrith

"Yeah, that sounds good!"

And then he proceeds to post updates every time he finds something interesting or cool on his travels and reposts, likes and comments on EVERY single post his friends make~ xD He never sees a friend request he turns down, and would absolutely, unironically interact even with bots. xP
Saur

Saur smiled as Alandri seemed to agree with him. He took the bucket he was handed, taking a moment to observe it; it would seem that he was given an opportunity to take one of the fish he had caught for himself. That would indeed make this a lot more meaningful. "Thank you, Ms. Alandri," the kobold replied, giving her another bow. "I would offer to help carry your fish inside, but I believe time may be running short. I would like to avoid further tardiness if I can. I vow on my honor as a Bloodscale that we will be back at the appropriate hour next time,"

With that sorted, Saur turned back toward the others as he lugged his bucket and fish back toward the rest of the group. However, he paused as he could not help but overhear the conversation...and notice the approach of the same one who had left before. There was a very noticeable twitch on his brow, his tail swishing around in agitation.

"Well, it seems Her Highness has decided to re-grace us with her presence," he grumbled, strangely more sarcastic than his usual formal speech would have allowed. But now that he was no longer addressing a superior and somebody more on his level, he suddenly seemed a bit more slack on his manners. He stepped up to the rest of the crew, narrowing his eyes at Fleur. "Things went quite well, no thanks to you. I hope you have a suitable explanation for abandoning your clutch when we had a task at hand. Even this one"--Saur gestured toward Elaeshor--"at least contributed in some way."

The small, 2-and-a-half-foot tall, blood-colored Kobold looked up toward Fleur with his emerald gaze expectantly, clearly waiting for some kind of response.

Thank you, I enjoyed writing her a lot as well xD

Fellwing would know trolls are a type of fae and their societies tend to be very reclusive. They're one of the few types of fae that actually don't really interact with dragons that much, so it's surprising to see one not only close to dragon territory but also deliberately heading towards the capitol. Fellwing would also know that trolls are nocturnal, so seeing one out during the day is very odd.

I don't think she'd know much besides that. Again, they tend to keep to themselves.

...I feel like the fact that they are in a group approaching the capital should concern me. Does this concern me? I don't know~ xD
Shieldwing

"Oh...!" Shieldwing exclaimed, perking up as that obvious fact were pointed out to him. "Oh yeah, I guess that makes sense.... So I just need to make sure I'm gliding perfectly before I start thinking about flying...." Though when Garrock was brought up again, he paused for a moment as he recalled his own crash. Quickly falling into step, he added, "W-well, uh, actually...? When I crashed on the island, the first thing he did was rush up to me and check me over. I-I tried to forget about it 'cause it was humiliating, and I thought he was just worried about his own scales for letting me hurt myself, but...I think he must've been worried about me. He'd said if we sprained a wing or something then it was our own fault, but the first thing he did was growl at me and look me over...."

Shieldwing couldn't help but smile a bit as he thought about it. "Heheh, now that I think about it, maybe Garrock wasn't as bad as I thought. It was more than what I got back with my clan at least."

I'll see if I can add anything today. (Sorry, I just woke up, and I do need to catch up on what happened here... X_X)

Heheh, luckily if reading everything is a bit overwhelming for you, you only REALLY have to read Rush's stuff since the party has done another party split! xD Unless you need some of that context again from before the party split I suppose, but~
Saur

Now this was a haul to be proud of. Saur felt more than satisfied with his yield this time around. As he deposited his catches for Alandri, he tried to keep himself level headed and reserved, but it was easy for just about anybody to see how proud he felt for his performance. His tail was raised high in the air, swaying gently back and forth as his head was held as high as it could be given his 2 and a half foot frame.

Now that the deep-blue scales granted by the Bubbling Scale were falling away, his deep, blood-colored scales hide began to reveal themselves yet again. He watched Alandri beginning to approach the group individually and straightened himself out, waiting his turn patiently. And his patience was rewarded when she began to address him. Once again, he failed to keep his pride in his work in check as his efforts were praised. His chest swelled and the expression on his face gave him away immediately.

"Ah...it was nothing, of course," Saur replied, repeating a motion he had made earlier: a clenched fist folding across his upper body and tapping against his upper right chest, preceding a low bow of his own head. "The least I could do in order to make up for our mistake this morning. I am proud to have been of service,"

As he was presented with the Lion Badge gift and second scale, taking a moment to inspect and appraise it once she was turning to the next one. However, as he was in the process of doing so, something occurred to him. Teacher Ot was expecting them back at the Magaambya at midday. But that would mean trekking back through the city...where he had caused a bit of a commotion when he went to save one of his companions from a full-on collision. He couldn't help but wonder if the guards were still going to be on his tail for that little stunt. Now that he had put in all of this effort into acquiring goods for somebody to sell, he realized just what kind of work he might have ruined at the time....

He looked up at Alandri as she began bringing the buckets of fish inside her hut again.

"Ah...excuse me, Ms. Alandri?" Saur spoke up as she arrived to collect the buckets that contained the fish he had collected. He stepped up to her, nodding his head at her as he awaited her to acknowledge him. Once she had, he continued. "I was wondering. Do you mind if I kept one of those that I fished up for you? I can also pay for it if you'd prefer, of course."

And if Saur were pressed for an explanation, he would continue again, "You see, in our rush to arrive here as swiftly as possible, I assisted one of my companions by preventing them from crashing into one of the merchants bringing out their wares. Unfortunately, this caused the baker to drop his platter at the time, and it, erm...." He paused for a brief moment, electing in the moment to avoid mentioning the guards being called on them. "...caused a commotion of sorts. And likely ruined that entire batch. And...I'd like to try to make it up to him on our way back."

Saur then gestured down to the fish in the buckets before focusing back on Alandri. "I was contemplating simply paying the man for the food I wasted--if the coins I have on me could cover it anyway. But if I could provide something in addition to payment, I believe that would go a greater distance in demonstrating the authenticity of my attempt to make amends."
Alright all the latest post is up!

Before we jump back into our agreed upon two-day rhythm, how did everyone feel about the relaxed pace? Was it nice? Was it too long? I know the game ground slower due to real life, but I want to see how people feel about the wait. Personally, I like 2-3 days between GM updates, but that may just be me!

Personally, always liked relaxed pacing, but like before, I still have no qualms with putting that deadline on the posts since that helps my procrastinating tail actually get to writing sometimes. xD

That said, I did just hit on some inspiration for myself in the current RP. Since the scene has already kinda been pushed onward, we don't necessarily have to RP this out, but since Saur acquired so many, he would inquire about perhaps keeping one for himself to deliver to the baker they had knocked over back in the market as an apology, even willing to spend some of his own reserved money in order to make up for the bread they kinda ruined in their rush~ We don't need to spend the time with just me RPing with the baker either ofc, just noted that it happened on the way back would be fine. Is that something that would be possible?
Is there any member of this gosh-darn party who doesn't want to ascend to godhood?!

Tanrith doesn't want to ascend to godhood! He's just here to spread the good vibes and makes sure a happy time is had by all!

I mean, if he can get as good as the Wonderbringer at making things, which is his passion, then he'll happily take it, but he doesn't want a job that comes with as much burden as "god" of anything. Too many responsibilities weighing it down
Shieldwing

"Ah..." Shieldwing suddenly gasped, only just now seeming to catch himself. His crimson scales grew a little bit darker as he blushed slightly, raising his wings slightly in embarrassment. Gah, how could he have let himself get so worked up like a playful hatchling? He was grateful that he was around Rudrick right now, because he knew many a dragon that would have been annoyed with that kind of behavior. In fact, it actually seemed like Rudrick seemed to welcome or even enjoy his excitement, which quickly made him feel a bit better. He smiled and finally found himself pacing well beside the older drake, with rapt attention being paid as he spoke.

However, as Rudrick mentioned that his weakness seemed to be at landing, and how Garrock would usually respond...his eyes shot wide with surprise, a fresh memory immediately flooding to the front of his mind. He quickly recalled what it had been like when his clutch had flown out for their first mission. It had been a thought he'd been trying to bury. He'd been too embarrassed about his fumble and interpreted Garrock's response as frustration with him.

But...with Rudrick's new information, then a new thought had come to his mind....

He paused at Rudrick's question, though was quick to step back into place after a few moments. His head, previously craned upward to gaze up at the larger dragon now lowered toward the floor as he began to think back.

"Now that I think about it..." Shieldwing murmured. "I...dunno. I...didn't pay much attention to myself." He looked aside, blushing a bit again, clearly embarrassed to be giving such a non-answer. "I-I mean, on the trip out, I was more worried about the others and trying to support them more and make sure they were doing alright than what I was doing. And on the return trip I was-" He stopped himself abruptly at that point. Memories of his frustrations at how their mission had gone came back to him as well. "...distracted." he said flatly to finish that sentence.

"I guess my wings were a little sore maybe, but if I had any troubles with the gliding, I didn't notice. The first time I was eager to land and ended up crashing into the ground. But I learned from that crash the and landed better when we got back to the mainland. I mean...w-well, you know. I-I didn't crash that time at least."
Heheh, I did like that~ Though it's a good thing Tanrith isn't a mind reader, because "asking her dad for some kobolds" would set off a lot of alarms and raise a lot of red flags for our little lizard boi xD

But yeah, before I have him respond to her, I'm gonna wait on the next DM post to see what Sarceron and Azorigal do or say next...if Azorigal even notices or cares at this point, ofc xP
