To be fair the GM should bear some responsibility in checking in on people. Even just bumping the OOC after a week would have been sufficient.
Really? I have to babysit players into posting their characters and stand over them like some kind of slave driver? And oh hey, by the way, I DID bump the thread and call everyone out. How do you think this argument started in the first place? Because you all were sure as shit not going to get off your loins it seems.
I was literally the last one to say something. You yourself hadn't said anything until 11 days later and came back with such a disgusting attitude.
I was waiting for you, genius. You don't tell a gm you'll post a character at X time and then leave them hanging. That's just plain rude and the more you try to deny your part of the guilt in this the bigger of an asshole you make yourself to be. So just stop trying to justify yourself because you're failing miserably.
"Probably". That's not a lie. The thread went dead after my comment and didn't want to waste my time if it had died.
Bullshit. If the thread went dead then it was because asshats like you decided to vanish without a fucking word. So don't you dare try to act like you aren't at least partially to blame.
@Inkarnate There's no deadline. People showing interest only to vanish into the aether without a word is a super pet peeve of mine that infuriates the crap out of me. That's all.
@Kal-El@King Kindred So um... what were the words the both of you used? "Crafting a character we speak" and "I'm probably posting mine today"? So tell me, please, were those just lies or something? I'd just absolutely love to know.
7. Please please please inform me if real life requires you to be absent for an extended period. I've lost too many games due to player disappearances and only getting the silent treatment when I try to reach out. I'd rather it not happen here.
I wrote this rule for a reason people. I don't like getting the cold shoulder. If shit happens, then shit happens, but I at least would like to be kept in the loop if nothing else.
The only son of Kougawa Gorou, a powerful and connected Prosecutor. The Kougawa family in general has close ties to the legal world, be it through police or even judges. It's rumored they possess political connections as well. Ando is someone who appears to the outside world as a young man living a life of privilege and luxury. He grew up in a family estate, cared for by servants more than his actual parents. In fact the only interactions he had with his parents was at dinner time and when he needed to be present for one of their social functions. His father in particular didn't spend much time with him, sometimes seeming more like an employer than a parent. And of course, the boy was expected to follow in Gorou's footsteps and become a lawyer of some description. It seemed only fitting, and Gorou himself refused to hear a single word suggesting otherwise despite Ando having no passion for law nor any true desire to pursue it.
Thankfully, Ando was not without various outlets to bide his time with. Soccer was one of his biggest outlets during Junior High and High School, wherein he used the sport as a means to vent his frustrations. This made him aggressive, ruthless even, on the field but that in turn made him a rather strong competitor and easily his team's Ace. But even outside of the Soccer Field, Ando sometimes found himself instead sitting at the table of a challenging game of Chess, wherein his aggressive and ruthless tendencies made him a tough player to beat. But none of it was ever truly satisfying. What good did competing in any of these areas do if he knew he was eventually going to be shackled to a law degree and some desk in his father's law offices? He'd become smart enough not to voice his opposition to his father directly, instead wearing the "Mask" of an obedient son who did what was expected of him. That "mask" became so profoundly a part of who he is that it became his default persona, though with the aggressive strength and ruthless competitiveness he'd adopted from Soccer and Chess mixed in for good measure. But was this really who he was meant to be?
Personality: Subservient to Ando more often than not. He can get fired up and defensive when someone insults his partner or tries to berate him in some form. For whatever reason he seems to see a good in Ando that no one else seems capable of, even Ando himself.
