Level 2 Roxas (17+4=23/20)

Quite a few people took their turns after Roxas did. The first was a dancer named Primrose, incorporating dance into her fighting style and could use it invigorate allies. She admittedly did have a certain allure, but the next introduction came before he could stare for too long. Therion, a guy in a purple cloak of some kind. Another rogue, according to Primrose. But Therion confirmed that he was good at opening doors, picking locks, seeking treasure. In other words, it was all a fancy way of saying he was a thief. He also didn't seem like a particularly nice guy, having what seemed to be a dismissive attitude and wanting everyone to stay out of his way. Not much of a team player, apparently.

Next to go was a guy who introduced himself as an Ace Cadet... whatever that meant. He explained that he was a monster hunter, and that he had lots of experience at taking on opponents way bigger than himself. Pretty impressive, all things considered. While Roxas himself and several of his old friends had their share of experience dealing with large enemies, it sounded like this Ace was an actual professional at doing it. Though despite all this, Roxas couldn't help but wonder how effective any of his weaponry would be against the likes of Heartless or Nobodies, creatures that are much harder to kill if you don't possess a Keyblade.

Next up was Midna. Roxas had already met her earlier, but here he was able to learn a little bit more about her. She wasn't kidding about being a "Princess of Twilight" because she said she was from an actual Twilight Realm? Another realm? Besides the Realms of Light and Darkness? It seemed unreal that there was an entire third realm that he and presumably none of his friends had ever discovered. And now he found himself wondering what it was like there. She also showed a bit of her powers, summoning two wolves. She also summoned purple claws and a flying insect creature. None of it looked like anything he had ever seen before.

After Midna was the biggest of the turtle dragons. His name was Bowser, and he called himself the King of the Koopa. So that was a fourth royal here on top of the two Princesses and Sectonia? He also tried to act like he was the one who was really in charge, but even Roxas could see through that bluff. Still his list of accomplishments sounded impressive, assuming they were all true. And he also had that entire Troop at his beckoned call so he was obviously powerful. After that, Bowser's son Jr. took a turn introducing himself. He was younger and smaller than his father, but made up for it by seemingly being craftier. He apparently built the machine he was riding in, and possessed a magic paint brush capable of brushing portals to other locations into existence. On top of all this he also possessed a pair of monsters that looked kinda like the one Midna summoned. But at the end of the day he was still a kid, confirmed by him also proclaiming that he loved video games.

The old one went next. She introduced herself as Kamek, and was Bowser's advisor. She also looked like a Wizard, judging by her robe and pointy hat. It also didn't take her long to single Roxas and request they talk later. Roxas knew she was probably curious about the Organization, and so he just nodded his head in agreement. He promised he would tell them all whatever they needed to know, and he intended to keep that promise. She then showed off a device that apparently could alter someone's appearance. Of course, Roxas had no idea about spirits and thus did not know why such a thing would be necessary.

Next up was a girl named Rika. She opened by saying that she had only been "a person" for three days, having been a part of something called an Abyssal Fleet beforehand. She said Kamek had freed from Galeem... Galeem? Had Roxas heard that name before? No, no of course not. Anyway, for weapons she possessed a set of guns and blades. There didn't seem to be much else beyond that.

After this Roxas noticed that one of the robot girls had come over and sat next to him. She said he didn't have to be so formal and could loosen up a bit. Also, what was an "anime" boy? She had called him one and referred to some other person she knew as one, but Roxas had no clue what that meant. He wasn't sure what was so interesting about him, but he let it go for now and just nodded in response.

The next one to go was Sectonia. While Roxas had already met her, this was first he was hearing about her actual abilities. She said she was a sorcerer and spellsword, and could easily control who would be affected by her magic and who wouldn't be. She also claimed to control space and time, but... Roxas had a tough time believing that. It sounded more like a boast than anything. And why did she insist on calling everyone her subjects and minions?

After the Queen, the robot girl next to Roxas got up took her turn. So her name was Blazermate? And she said she was the main healer, implying at least part of what she brought to the table. And then out of nowhere she pointed at Roxas and shot a beam at him, "Whoa!" he shouted in surprise, putting up his arms defensively. But the beam didn't hurt at all. In fact he then noticed that turned him blue and metallic, and invincible according to Blazermate, "Whoa... weird."

The next was Susie, who introduced herself as the CEO of a company that Roxas had never heard of. She summoned some kind of robotic suit, which served as both her armor and her primary weapon. After that she started going over a lot words and jargon that may as well have been an alien language from Roxas' perspective. Still. she was obviously smart and knew her way around machines. And given the number of robotic people here, that was probably a very welcomed skill to have.

After this was the introduction of a seemingly normal looking girl. She introduced herself as Karin Kanzuki, and evidently she was a martial arts master. So someone who possessed no weapons or magic? Just relied on the strength of their own fist? One had to respect the resolve it must take to do that when surrounded by many magic and technology users. After her was a girl named Sakura, who seemed a lot less confident but was also a martial artist like Karin.

After the two girls was a tall man with white hair and blackened armor, and a horn of some kind on his forehead. He introduced himself as Geralt, and he was something called a Witcher. Apparently that meant he hunted monsters like Ace did. And he was old, very old. Saying he had nearly a hundred years of training and experience. Just how old was this guy? He also mentioned being fused with some spirits, and that they were responsible for how he currently. And now Roxas was wondering how many of the others were fused with spirits that was changing their appearance. But he was quite skilled overall. Tracking, spells, mastery of swords and various other weapons. It almost made Roxas think he could learn a thing or two more about fighting from him.

The Seeker up was a guy who looked like a literal angel, with his white clothes and white feathery angel wings. Pit had even said he was a servant of a Goddess. Sounded pretty angelic to Roxas. He was a captain of his Goddess' royal guards, and wielded a blue-and-gold bow weapon. Well, it looked like a bow, but it also looked like it was sharp like blades too. Were they swords that should shoot arrows? Wouldn't be the strangest weapon Roxas had ever seen by a long shot.

And then there was Omori. A gloomy-looking boy with a blank expression. He claimed he wasn't as strong or flashy as everyone else, but that he could fight using his emotions. Roxas couldn't begin to imagine how that would work or if he would be all that proficient at fighting that way. He had a feeling Omori wasn't giving himself enough credit. Then again, he also said that he was looking for his missing friends and sister. Something that obviously hit close to home for Roxas, so maybe he was being a little bit biased. Roxas decided that he had to help this kid find his friends. Being in the exact same position, Roxas himself would have appreciated whatever help someone else offered him in finding his own friends.

Next up was Jesse, whom Roxas already met earlier. For once he wasn't especially surprised by her abilities, having already seen a glimpse of them for himself during their big race earlier. He was instead surprised to learn about her guns, particularly the one that didn't run out of bullets. Sounded super useful, but for the part that only she could apparently use it properly. She liked scary movies, which Roxas couldn't bring himself to disagree with. Such a thing could be fun when the mood and occasion called for it. She then mentioned her people being in danger in a city far to the north. Roxas didn't know what that was about, but he kind of wished they could go help them. It sounded like they needed it.

And then there was Bede. A very confident kid dressed all in pink who informed them that he was something called a Pokemon Trainer. He then mentioned that he noticed a few of the others had them as well. So was that all those creatures were that were summoned by Midna and Jr? So did that mean that Roxas could become a Pokemon Trainer too? Maybe he should ask Bede about it if he got the chance. Having some extra buddies to help him out in battle could come in handy. And he had to admit it sounded like fun, too.

And finally, all the introductions were eventually done and over with. After this the Seekers all separated and went to go shopping or run other errands. As for Roxas, he had business to take care of at the Barracks. He needed to let the Commander know that he was leaving Twilight Town, and it just so happened that one of the Seekers, Vandham, had business with the barracks as well. As such, Roxas offered to show him the way and to introduce him to the Commander. As they walked, Roxas noticed the captive pirates and Vandham explained how the they had attacked the Seekers while enroute here and they needed to be handed over to the authorities. That explained why Vandham wanted to go the Barracks, of course. And naturally, Roxas also explained that he was a member of the Town Militia and needed to report to the commanding officers and hand in his resignation.

"Sorry I've been gone for so long, Commander." said Roxas apologetically when the entered the barracks, "A lot of new arrivals came and some important things were brought to my attention. This is Vandham, by the way. He leads a group of mercenaries who arrested some pirates for us."

"I see." Auru had said in response, "Thank you for your work." he said to Vandham, and then to Roxas he said, "I'd like you fill me in on these things that came up."

"Do you remember my missing friends?" he asked the Commander, knowing Auru was one of the only people he'd ever told about them, "Well, I discovered today that a group of my old enemies have resurfaced. And now I'm worried that they're involved."

Auru rubbed his chin thoughtfully, "I see. And you intend to investigate this information for yourself?"

"Sort of. The arrivals that came today had a few run ins with them, so I think if I join up with their party I'll get a chance to see for myself what my enemies are up to."

"Hmm." Auru looked troubled, "It sounds as though you'll be leaving us."

"I'm afraid so, sir."

"Well, I hate to lose you Roxas. But this sounds like a personal matter, so I won't stop you. But do take a moment to say goodbye to the others, won't you?"

Roxas heeded the advice. He took a few minutes to say his goodbyes to the other militia members. Whites in particular made Roxas promise to bring his friends back and introduce them after he found them, to which Roxas agreed readily. With the goodbyes over, Roxas left the Barracks and ran to catch up with the Seekers at the picnic lunch.

Once there, Roxas answered the barrage of questions he was unsurprisingly asked as best as he could. At a certain point he simply found himself standing up in front of everyone so he could just tell them all more about the Organization. That turned out to be harder than he thought, since the more he thought about it the more realized how confusing the full story actually was. What Roxas wouldn't give to have a Gummi Phone right about now. Still, Roxas did his best to keep it as simple as possible. He started by explaining what Heartless and Nobodies were, as that would provide enough context to understand what the first Organization XIII was about: a group of Nobodies reportedly seeking to find a way to become whole again. That of course had been lie, Roxas further explained as he continued his story into the actions of the so-called "True" Organization XIII led by Xehanort. Roxas made sure to include that either Xehanort, his Heartless (Ansem) or his Nobody (Xemnas) were the ones most likely leading the current Organization. But he obviously couldn't be sure without seeing them for himself.

After this he found himself chatting for longer with Kamek and Big Band, who both seemed to be more curious about the Organization than anyone else. Kamek especially, given that she seemed to already knew a few of the things Roxas had explained thanks to her discussions with the Master of Masters, "Unfortunately, I've never actually met the Master of Masters myself." Roxas clarified at one point during the conversation, "I'd never even heard of him before Sectonia told me about him. But it sounds like he knows even more than I do. If it's possible I'd like meet him as soon as possible. He may be interested in meeting me as well since we're both Keyblade Wielders and all."

Once he was finally able to satisfy Kamek's curiosity, Roxas tried to chat a bit with some of the other Seekers. At first he talked a bit with Raz, being a bit curious about whether the kid could actually read minds. He also asked him a bit about what Mental Worlds were like. Roxas knew there were all kinds of worlds, but never dreamed there were worlds inside people's minds. The other Seeker Roxas found himself talking to was Bede. After seeing all the Pokemon that some of the others had, Roxas was admittedly curious to learn about them himself. He pestered Bede a bit with questions about Pokemon and whether or not Roxas himself could become Trainer. That led to him asking Bede for one of his Poke Balls or if Bede knew where Roxas could get some.

Eventually though, the picnic lunch came to its end. The Seekers were divided into two teams, one that travel along Black Line and another that would take the Purple Line. Roxas was in the former team, alongside Raz, Bede, and quite a few of the others. It seemed as though the Seekers he had already met earlier were pretty much all on the Purple Team though. That meant that despite only just meeting them, they'd have to part ways already. Well, it had to be done, as much as it sucked to have part ways with new friends. But that left Roxas with a slew of other people to become more acquainted with instead, and luckily he'd already started doing so with Raz and Bede, sort of.

The Metro was definitely something else. Roxas knew this place was accessible via Station Heights but this was the first time he ever ventured that far in. Despite being indoors and underground, it was well lit with all sorts of colorful lights and signs all pointing to numerous places in seemingly numerous directions. Roxas glad he never came in here alone, because he'd probably get lost if he had. But before Roxas could become any more impressed, he heard a loud voice voice commanding someone to "take them" followed the ground beginning to rumble.

"That's not good!" he yelled when he caught glimpse of the literal tide of felines all charging toward them. Actually they were sort of reminding him of a Heartless his friends had fought during their battle at the Keyblade Graveyard. Of course, Roxas seriously doubted these were anything like Heartless, given how intelligent they apparently were.

Everyone took off running. But since Roxas had no idea how to navigate this place, he instead stuck close to Raz who did seem to know where he was going. As Raz hit parts of the cat wave with psychic blasts, Roxas decided to help him out by summoning one of his Keyblades and blasting back blotches of cats that came at them using Waterga spells. The Waterga spells wouldn't be super damaging, but they were perfect for knocking back targets utilizing the actual pressure of the water blasts. That, and cats generally hated the Water, so most likely at least some of them wouldn't be too keen on coming after the guy blasting them with water spells.

This was about when Roxas spotted Red using his superpower to punch a train off it's tracks, "Whoa!" he yelled in awe, but couldn't be impressed for long. Immediately after he also spotted Red falling down to a lower level, which actually made Roxas stop for the briefest, "Oh no, Red!" his first instinct was to jump down after him, but even that became impossible when the tide of cats blocked the way. This left Roxas no choice but to continue after Raz.

Thankfully, Roxas' own athletic ability and knack for adapting to the layouts of his environment gave him a keen edge in spotting ways of getting past cats and other obstacles. That allowed him to catch back up to Raz with relative ease. But by now Roxas had noticed that a number of their teammates were no longer in sight, "Uh, Raz, we've got a problem. Looks like we've lost some of our teammates!" he told the Psychonaut as he resumed his earlier routine of blasting bunches of attacking cats with Waterga spells, "Are you positive you know where we're going? 'Cuz I'm totally lost!"

Level 2 Roxas (17+2=19/20)

With the race and building lessons out of the way, Roxas eventually found himself at the docks. There he saw all the new acquaintances he had met and even some he hadn't introduced himself to. According to Jesse and Midna this was where the rest of their big team would arrive and it was just a matter of waiting for them. Soon enough Roxas spotted what had to be them in the distance. A large vessel, a ship of some kind that Roxas never seen before. Did... did it have eyes? If those weren't eyes then they sure as heck looked like eyes. Was this ship a creature? Or did someone just have a weird since of creativity when they built it? And then its passengers started exiting it. They were wide assortment of characters, seemingly coming in all shapes in sizes. Between the dragon-like turtles to the fully robotic people, suddenly Sectonia didn't seem so strange as when they first met.

Roxas kept his mouth shut for the time being. He sort of hung around nearby the people he had already met such as Sectonia and Jesse. He'd have plenty of chances to officially meet everyone. For now it looked like there were some reunions going on and he didn't want to be rude and interrupt. Eventually though he heard a gunshot that got everyone's attention. The shooter was a nice-looking blonde lady of seemingly mixed ethnicity in an armored pink suit who then introduced herself as Princess Peach. Well, blonde was not quite accurate, because her hair was three different colors: red, blonde and white going from left to right. Another Princess? Roxas thought to himself. So that made two members of royalty on this team that he knew of. And the wildest part was that they weren't even the first royals he'd ever met in his lifetime. Still, Peach seemed a far cry from the mischievous Midna. To imagine the two standing next to each other was like looking at night and day. Peach also said that she was leader of this operation, for the most part. That would explain why she acted so much more mild-mannered and polite than Midna. Her suggestion of picnic lunch made this all sound like some kind of bizarre birthday party or family reunion. And her suggestion that they all introduce themselves to the crowd made sense, but made Roxas feel like he was sitting in on some kind of Anonymous Meeting.

The Princess herself was the first to go. As she had been this entire time she retained her politeness and seemed to be wearing the same cheerful smile the entire time. She mentioned being passionate about sports which did not surprise Roxas that much. Her sporty-looking suit and strong athletic build certainly suggested as much. But apart from this, Roxas wasn't really able to gleam much more about her. Like what kind of leader she was, or what other kind of skills she brought to the table. Roxas would just have to try and get to know her better over time.

The second to go was an armored individual who introduced himself as Big Band. He mentioned being a detective at one time, and Roxas found that rather interesting. Sounded like the kind of guy who would be great at leading investigations. But he also followed that up by saying he suffered a "twist of fortune" that forced him to walk a different path. Roxas now wondered if that armored suit of his was more than just a fashion statement. And then suddenly the man conjured up a whole band's worth of instruments and began playing a jazzy tune. Well it was no wonder why he was called Big Band, the name was apparently quite literal. He had also mentioned something called Lab Eight and Skullgirl, but Roxas unfortunately had never heard of those things before.

The next to go was the robot girl from earlier and a furry little guy Roxas recalled seeing at Mumbo's Motors. They introduced themselves as Poppi and Tora, and explained that Poppi was a machine capable of taking three different forms in order to switch up her combat specialties. And from the sounds of it, Tora was the mechanic who built and repaired her. So it was pretty clear that these two were a team, what one would call a package deal. They spoke kind of strangely, but Roxas understood what they were saying just the same. They had some words with lady with cat ears, and then that lady took her turn introducing herself.

Her name was Ms. Fortune. She called herself a dashing rogue, though whether was actually true remained to be seen. The strange part was that she could apparently split herself into pieces without dying. Roxas couldn't even fathom how that was possible. Was she another robot like Poppi? She didn't look or act mechanical, so maybe not. Or maybe she was something akin to a Replica? No, surely not, Replicas were supposed to be as human as possible so something like that would defeat that purpose. He couldn't help but notice Big Band giving her a strange look. Was there some kind of history that no one was aware of?

Roxas' thoughts were interrupted when the incredibly enthusiastic psychic kid spoke up. At first he shot a bunch of curious questions at Ms. Fortune but then went on to introduce himself as Razputin Aquato, Raz for short. He called himself a Psychonaut, and further explained that this was a title given to a special kind of soldier able to combat enemies using mental psychic powers. And apparently he could even jump into people's minds and explore their thoughts and feelings. Wait does that mean he can read minds? He's not reading my mind right now, is he? But he listened further as Raz explained that he was also a capable athlete good at climbing and jumping and other such feats. And apparently he would die if he ever went into water. That's not exactly something I would just share with a bunch of people I met for the first time. But the more Roxas thought about how forthright Raz was, the more he started reminding Roxas of Sora in some ways. Yeah Raz and Sora would definitely get along well, Roxas figured.

Next up was a masked man dressed in red. He didn't give his name, instead using the codename Wonder Red. He said he was with an intergalactic defense force known as the CENTINELS which he said numbered 100. He didn't divulge any information about his abilities, and also explained that he wished for he and his team to maintain a level of secrecy regarding their true identities. It sounded like this was for security reasons, and being a new guy, Roxas wasn't about argue with him. He mentioned someone named Commander Nelson, and that was where he ended his introduction. He was very different from others, very professional and by-the-book. Honestly a far cry from a lot of the other very informal introductions that had been made.

Well... guess I've waited around long enough. Roxas silently walked up to the table and hopped up on top of it. At this point he now found himself right next to Princess Peach, and he knew his black coat would be drawing stares from the Seekers, "It's nice to meet you, Your Highness." Roxas said with a quick bow and then turned and faced the crowd, "And it's nice to meet you all, too. I'm Roxas... and I used to be in Organization XIII." he paused in order to give everyone a chance to take that in and to gauge their responses before continuing, "But that was a long time ago, and they're my enemy now. Sectonia told me you've had some encounters with people claiming to be Organization XIII. If that's true, then I need to find out what they're planning and stop them if I have to."

He was beginning to realize that his introduction was a bit to down-to-business but he continued, "I promise I'll tell you all I can about them, but I can already tell my information might be a bit outdated. I asked to join you because some of my closest friends are missing and I'm worried that Organization XIII might be involved. I also promise I'll help you with the mission you're on. All I ask is for some help finding my friends, and maybe some backup if it comes down to a fight between me and the Organization." at this point he let himself lean forward for a bow. And then he straightened up and held out his hand, summoning Oblivion for them all to see, "I also happen to be a Keyblade Wielder like the Master of Masters. But," he then summoned Oathkeeper, "I can use two. I've got some magic I can fall back on in addition to a few other tricks I won't go into detail about here. If you'll have me as a Seeker that is." feeling that was about all he could say for now, he stepped down from the table and bowed one last time to Peach, "Thanks for giving me a chance to speak."
Fixed my post.
Well I posted anyway. And I just straight up decided to nip the language thing in the bud.
"Hello. My name is Katsuo. My friend's name is Captain. Do any of you own the baskets along the beach?"

The kid was Japanese, but speaking English. Evidently he thought Tadashi was from America or something. Thankfully, Tadashi's parents had been making him take English lessons. They weren't exactly his favorite thing in the world but he had to admit they would be paying off big time now, "Don't worry, I'm from Japan too. I'm Tadashi, and the blue lizard over there is Yuki." he replied in English, jerking a thumb over in the Digimon's direction to indicate who he was referring to.

"I can speak English too! ...Mostly." said Yuki. He wasn't quite as fluent as Tadashi, but maybe this situation would be the perfect chance to practice more, "Guess I'd better practicing more."

"Not a bad idea, Yuki." said Tadashi with a thumbs-up approval, "In fact, let's make a challenge out of it. From here on, we're only allowed to speak English, got it?"

"Sounds fun, you're on!"

"Anyway," Tadashi returned his focus to the kid in front of him, "We have no idea who these baskets belong to." One by one, others spoke up. It sounded like nobody knew what the deal was with those baskets. And it also quickly became apparent that Tadashi wasn't the only one with a monster buddy.

"Hold on, let me guess... you all had that weird dream about an egg that became real, too?"
@TheNoCoKid Pretty sure we're waiting for me, I've just been preoccupied.

Level 2 Roxas (13/20)

Mumbo leaned forward and eyed the license with scrutiny. After a pause, he jerked back to his upright position, “Okay, look good to Mumbo.” he said with a shrug, “You follow Ellie now. She help Roxas get started.” he added with a handwave.

Roxas smirked and pocketed the card. After that, he turned to Ellie and said, “Lead the way, Ellie. I’m all ears.”

“I’d be right happy to help!” the good-natured woman replied with a smile, beckoning Roxas to follow after her as she waddled around the shop. “Though there ain’t that much to explain, really. Whoever came up with this stuff’s a doggone genius, lemme tell ya what.” She stopped in front of one of the assembly mats. A number of random components seemed to be scattered around, including a half-finished car prototype a previous customer lost interest in halfway through. “Here!”

Ellie took hold of an engine with both hands and lifted the huge thing with next to no effort. “This here’s a prime example, hun. Right now I reckon you’re thinkin’, lordy be, this Ellie lady must be strong as all get out! But here, you try it.” She passed him the engine, which turned out to be no heavier than a cardboard box of junk. “Light as a feather, right? More like a toy than an actual car part. All these li’l doohickies’re like that. They just socket right together, easy as pie.” Ellie stooped to grab one of the discarded wheel mounts and literally stick it on the half-built car. “Most of the time ya don’t need any tools or nothin’, either. Best part is, ya don’t even gotta worry about hookin’ up all the systems; it just works! Plus, everythin’s so light that the trucks and trolleys folks make don’t use much gas, and they don’t crash hard, so they’re pretty safe.” She slapped her hands against her overalls to get the grease off and shrugged. “That’s about all there is to it, hun! Ain’t a pot too crooked that a lid won’t fit. Just tinker away to yer heart’s content.”

“W-whoa!” Roxas was caught off guard when Ellie just tossed a heavy-looking engine toward him. But to his surprise it turned out to be very light. He turned the engine part over in his hands as he listened to her explanation. The way these components could apparently just stick together and work without any wiring, it kinda reminded him of the Gummi Ship. Not that Roxas himself had had any real experience with Gummi Blocks or the like, but he had hitched a ride to Destiny Islands once for a get together with his friends. That was about the extent of Roxas’ experience with this sort of thing.

“So I can just stick these parts together?” he finally replied, “Okay, then. Sounds easy enough. Thanks Ellie!” he told her as she left him to do his thing. After staring at the lone engine he had been given, his gaze shifted over to the half-finished project. If its previous owner had lost interest, then Roxas didn’t see any harm in picking up where they left off and finishing the build. And so he gathered some of the scattered components from around the assembly mat and got to work.

Roxas wasn’t sure what his idea was at first. He would attach parts until they started to resemble something, only for him to break them apart and start over again. He made progress bit by bit. Occasionally he’d start up the car in order to test the stability of the build. He would complete a build after about 15 minutes and then spend about 5 minutes test driving it before deciding to return to the assembly mat and make adjustments. And Roxas repeated this process about 2 or 3 times and before he knew it, nearly an hour had passed.

During all this Roxas would occasionally show the build to Ellie and get some feedback from her. Since he was so inexperienced at this it made sense to get the opinion of someone who’s been doing this for longer. At long last, Roxas stood on the assembly mat, arms crossed with satisfaction as he was looking at what was now a completed vehicle.

Mostly red and silver, it sported a mostly aerodynamic shape. Largely narrow, with a pair of sloped front bumpers that almost looked like snow plows. It also sported a pair of parallel spoilers in the back, giving the vehicle an overall racecar look. Though unlike most racecars, this one wasn’t low to ground, instead being raised a bit which would allow it to go off road to a certain extent if needed. In the rear it sported a pair of small rocket thrusters. When activated they would give the car a brief explosive burst of speed ideal for overtaking the competition on a straightaway.

“Gotta say, it looks right gorgeous, hon.” said Ellie when Roxas showed her the completed build, “I’m glad somebody finally decided to finish that abandoned build. It almost looked downright sad just sitting on the assembly mat collectin’ dust.”

“Guess we’ll see what it can really do when the next race comes up.” said Roxas, using a towel to clean himself of sweat and grease stains.

“Certainly gonna be a good show, I’ll reckon.” she said with an approving nod, “So? What’re y’all gonna name it?”

Roxas blinked, “Name? I… hadn’t actually thought of that.”

“What? Y’all can’t put this much effort into a build and not give it a name, now.” she said before leaving the room with a wave.

“Hmm…” Roxas approached the car and after some thought painted a name on the sides of the car: Twilight Blaze.

With the car officially finished, Roxas hopped in and drove off out of Mumbo’s Shop. Just up ahead he saw someone else who was driving away from Mumbo’s. When Roxas realized she was heading toward the race track he decided to follow after her. He had the car, so he might as well look for a race to compete in.

Roxas had been keeping his distance as they entered the Race Track. But when he saw her drive up to another driver and heard her shout out a race challenge, a smirk appeared on his lips. He punched the thruster button, and suddenly the rocket thrusters on the back of his car roared to life and his blazing red car shot forward instantly. In that burst of speed he passed both the lady drivers up, but made sure to look back at them with a big smirk on his face.

“How about you eat mine!” he shouted back to them. The race was on now!

"Who said anything about 'storming' the castle?" retorted the Sorcerer with a scoff, "Have none of you ever sneaked into any place before?" he shook his head. The idea that someone like him would suggest using brute force was laughable, hysterical even. And of course they questioned his certainty about the mirror. Okay then, seemed it was time to spill the beans.

"I know all this because it exists as a fairy tale in the world I hail from. That's how I'm so certain about the Mirror and what it can do." he leaned in a bit for a hard gaze at shorter guy, "And according to the story, the Mirror is a spirit that was enslaved and trapped in the mirror by the Queen. So if we were to... rescue it? Well you can probably guess how grateful it would be to us for saving it."

But that didn't seem to be enough. And now the would-be surfer dude was accusing him of giving 'bad vibes', as he put it. That made the Sorcerer's blood boil and he whirled around to glare at him, "What I'm doing is looking at this from the bigger picture. So I'm sorry if that gives you bad vibes, 'bro'. What exactly do you think I would do with the Mirror? Lug it around with me everywhere I go? Don't be absurd." he rubbed his temples in frustration, "Obviously my suggestion is to take the Mirror back to the old man. If he doesn't know a way to free the spirit, then he's sure to know someone else who does."

But despite his arguments and against all of Canaan's protests, the group voted to search for the maiden first. Canaan hung back as they walked, clearly having no desire to make this choice, "Tch, this is why I hate Democracy." he muttered under his breath. It was also why he hated having to work with other people. If he'd been on his own he could have just gone with his own plan and not have to care about trying to pitch the idea to anyone else.

But as the group entered the forest, Canaan could almost immediately the smell the stench of a dead body somewhere deeper within. Soon they found it, the body of one of the mercenaries that had passed by them earlier. He was clearly dead, impaled on a bunch of tree branches and roots. And now suddenly it was turning into a vote on whether to try to help the poor fool or not. Great, another 'vote'. Because the last one went so well last time. Canaan rolled his eyes, "Look, who cares? He's dead and gone, guy was probably an idiot anyway. And remind me again who it was earlier that was making such a big deal about not wasting our time?" he shot a sideways glance over Kalak and Conner.

Mere moments after Roxas finished the tour, more new arrivals made their way down from Station Heights. Looked like today was going to be a day for lots of arrivals. Though these arrivals appeared to be friends of Sectonia, which logically made them part of whatever group Sectonia herself belonged to. And it also didn't take long for them to ask about Roxas's outfit. He was starting to getting the feeling this would be a recurring thing. But that was fine. It'd be a good way to inquire about the Organization without actually having to constantly ask people. But for now the blue-haired... robot(?) girl needed a reply.

"Um, no." he said with a shake of his head, "I'm not with the Organization, sorry. But I am trying to find them. Think you could tell me about-" but he was cut off by the approaching sound of engines. Soon enough a group of semi-familiar-looking vehicles bounded the street and toward the Plaza. They were mostly locals who frequently raced their machines around Town and at other chosen tracks. And unfortunately, the robot(?) girl took off immediately to go greet them. Oh well, he could always ask his questions at another time. For now he went ahead and followed the racers down to the plaza with a dash.

He had to admit he had always felt somehow drawn to the racing, though for the life of him Roxas couldn't figure out why. Sometimes his patrols took by the tracks or the plaza during their races and for some reason Roxas couldn't help but stop and watch them for a while each time. He'd obviously thought about learning more or even competing himself, but his work in the militia wouldn't have spared him a whole lot of time to participate. That and none of the others in the militia had ever shown any interesting them either. But as long as this new group was interested, Roxas figured there was no harm in taking the opportunity to check the races out himself.

He followed after the newcomers until they all eventually reached Mumbo and Ellie's shops. Well, he was here so he might as well ask them. "Morning, Mumbo, Ellie!" he greeted with a small wave, "Y'know I've been watching some of the races and was getting a little curious about joining them myself. Where, uh... would I need to start?" Ellie was the first response, giving a little jovial smile.

"Well g'mornin', darlin'!" she said in her usual drawl, "I reckon the first thing y'all need's a car. And yer in the right place for that."

"No. No car yet." that voice was Mumbo, speaking in his usual strange way, "If Roxas want drive in race, then need Driver License. Go get license from Moose, then Roxas get car and race."

"From... who?" surprisingly enough Roxas wasn't sure who Mumbo was referring to.

"Oh he means Mooselini, hon." Ellie chimed, "Her place is right nearby so I reckon y'all oughta find her in a snap."

"Oh! Right, I'll be back with one of those licenses then! Thanks!" and he dashed out to where he remembered Mooselini's shack was. When he got there, it looked like she was already out with someone else. So Roxas just watched the lesson from a distance, unable to help but laugh to himself at the rapping. But soon enough Mooselini was done with the student and returned back to U-Drive-U where Roxas was waiting.

"Oh, another one already?" she asked, "Didn't take you for the driving type, Roxas."

"I... kinda wanted to give the races a try." he answered with a shrug, "Mumbo says I need to get a license from you before he can give me a machine though."

"Yep, he's not wrong. Just hop in when you're ready and we'll get started."

With one last glance, Roxas jumped in the vehicle and suddenly heard the rap for himself. Thankfully he knew it was coming since he heard part of it just minutes ago.

"Alright, we're here, just sittin' in the car.
I want you to show me if you can get far.” the instructor said before she began to instructed her instructee.

“Step on the gas!”
”Step on the gas!”
“Step on the brakes!”
”Step on the brakes!”
“Step on the gas!”
”Step on the gas!” Roxas was able to reply with less hesitance than the previous instructee, largely because he had seen a bit a rap beforehand while waiting his turn.

“I'm glad you know which way to go, but it ain't gonna stop me, here we go.” the moose said, and then gave Roxas the same crash course on how to navigate a town behind the wheel

“Check and turn the signals to the right!”
”Check and turn the signals to the right!”
“Now turn to the right!”
”Now turn to the right!” Roxas's replies were getting a bit louder and more comfortable with the whole rapping thing.
“Check and turn the signals to the left!”
”Check and turn the signals to the left!”
“Now turn to the left!”
”Now turn to the left!”

“Woh ho ho ho! Stop the car!
We got an emergency, can't you see?” the instructor suddenly commanded, Roxas guessing that she was about to give him the same pop quiz.

“Do you know why we stopped the car?”
“Do I know why we stopped the car?”
“Guess…”
"You forgot to close the door?"
"Did I forget to close the door?"
"No!"
"No?"
"No! There is no door!"

“…”

“Right”

“Now just don't forget
This ain't kung fu, come on again!” the instructor commanded, getting them to set off again.

“Check and turn the signals to the right!”
“Check and turn the signals to the right!”
“Step on the gas now turn to the right!”
“Step on the gas now turn to the right!”
“Check and turn the signals to the left!”
“Check and turn the signals to the left!”
“Step on the gas now turn to the left!” they were swerving through the course by this point. Unfortunately this was also the part Roxas didn't hear so now he felt like he was slipping up.
“Step on the gas now turn to the left!”

“Step on the brakes!”
“Step on the brakes!” Roxas responded as they stopped yet again.

“Do you know why we stopped the car again?” she asked.
“Do I know why we stopped the car again?” Roxas asked her back, hoping he'd made it to the end okay.

“That's because you just got your license!“ the moose informed him, throwing up her arms in celebration.

"I did? I did!" Roxas threw his own arms up in celebration and jumped out of the vehicle he had just been driving. After he did, the moose handed him a little card that was to be his license, "Yes, thanks Mooselini! Now I just need a car of my own." he was already running back to Mumbo's.

He felt something else while driving. A strangely familiar sensation, as if he had done something like it before. But that was impossible. That was the first time Roxas had ever been behind the wheel. He couldn't explain it, but Roxas did quite like the feeling nonetheless.

Roxas held up the license up for Mumbo to see when he burst back into the shop, "Got the license, just like you wanted." Roxas said and then added, "So? Do I get to build a car now?" he asked, eagerly waiting for their answer. He wasn't sure why, but he was getting pretty excited about driving in a race.

"Tour, huh?" replied Roxas once he was on the ground level. He'd never played the tour guide before, but how hard could it be? "Yeah, I think I can do that." he began to walk and motioned for the newcomers to follow him, "This is Twilight Town. Better get used to that sunset, because it never goes away around here." he was now leading them around via Market Street. Since it wound its way through pretty much all the districts, it was the perfect route to take for a tour.

"The town's divided up into districts, and the Market Street we're currently on grants access to all of them in some way. It's also our shopping district, hence the name. I've never gone looking for a magic shop, myself, but I'll bet you can find one tucked away some place here in Market Street." he said, now noticing they were passing by their first exit that would lead to another district, "The direction you came from was Station Heights, and in that direction-" he pointed to the exit they were passing, "is the Sandlot. It's mostly an empty lot, but we use it to hold various events and celebrations. I think they're prepping for an upcoming Struggle Tournament right now. Uh, that's a popular sport we play around here. You spar with another person using foam bats and try to pick up spheres your opponent drops when you hit them. When time runs out, the person who possesses the most spheres is the winner."

As they continued on he recalled the second thing that Sectonia had asked about, "Hmm, well we do have Le Grande Bistro. I think it's over there in that direction." he pointed off somewhere deeper in the Market Street, "It's down in the Tram Common section of Market Street, so the Tram goes right by it. As long you follow the track you'll find it no problem. They make all kinds of teas and other treats there. Though I'm more of an ice-cream guy myself. Speaking of..." he stopped when they passed by his favorite ice-cream vendor. Roxas bought a trio of ice-cream bars, light blue in color and one to each of the tourists, "Try a sea salt ice-cream. They're one of the most popular treats we have here. And my personal favorite too."

As the tour continued, Roxas noted that they were about to pass by the road that led to the barracks. He made a gesture in that direction and said, "Down that way is the Barracks. It's the headquarters of the Town Militia. We take patrols and make sure things stay peaceful around here. We've also had to clear out occasional monsters that try to make their home in the Underground Concourse - er, that's an underground network of tunnels and sewers that run throughout town."

Eventually the group would circle back around in the direction of Station Heights. But this time, Roxas made sure to show them the direction of the last district, "You can take the train to Sunset Terrace. It's more of a residential district but there are some breathtaking views there on Sunset Hill." he stopped a moment to think. He was pretty sure he covered everything, or at least most of it anyway, "I... think that about covers it all. The main stuff anyway. I'm sure you could probably find more things to see around town if you go looking for it."
