Current Graduation has happened - I am no longer a teacher. Won't have to work 12 hour days + weekends anymore, so maybe I'll actually have enough time for hobbies.

I sound like a broken record, but only 2 months left till I'm done teaching. Not sure what's next, but it feels like anything would pay more and be less stressful lol

Teacher update: I feel like a villain from a cartoon. The laughter of teenagers gives me migraines, and I no longer feel guilt when giving bad grades to kids that sleep through my lessons.

Karada tried his best to fit in among the rabble that were awaiting the bus to L.O.S.E.R. Although, being a blond, blue-eyed, relatively tall young man in an impressive suit who was part of a scandal that reached national news outlets... It was harder than he expected. In order to ignore the horrible situation he found himself in, Karada instead decided to focus on his surroundings: they were on a fairly vacant road, already nearly on the outskirts of town. The forests were visible at a distance... The location itself was only a block away from the homeless shelter, and Karada quickly began to pray that no one asked him for a handout. After all, he only had 200,000 Yen left to his name, and he planned on making it last as long as humanely possible. Karada was one of the first to arive, as expected considering he had to fly out to this town... Waiting all alone took forever, but slowly, more people began to join him in the wait. Karada counted 5 people, not including himself, and was waiting exasperatedly for the rest of the class to come. I mean, surely this wasn't it? Karada pulled out and lit a cigarette, a habit he has developed when waiting impatiently.

After another 30 minutes of waiting, a decrepit old truck slowly began to pull up to the group of 6, and the window rolled down to reveal a man who was at least in his fifties, as evident by his massive beard. W...Was that his quirk? And this man is a staff member?

...

Noticing quickly how the man appeared to have a random assortment of paperwork, food and half-drunken beverages, Karada realized that he expected EVERYONE to ride in the back... Karada briefly considered whether this was even legal, but he slowly made his way to the flatbed and, after 2 attempts, got himself onto the shaky surface. Walking himself to the far back, as far as he could get from any of the sides and risk being thrown out of the truck, Karada slowly kneeled down, sitting on the dusty and dirty flatbed. This is going to be a bitch to clean... Karada thought, glancing down at his poor suit pants. Karada glanced at his future classmates taking them in, doing his best to analyze them and their potential threat to him. Some were especially easy to pick out, such as the shirtless young man with horns who seemed to have an animal based quirk. Possibly communication with rams or goats? Or maybe it was an enhancement quirk, and it had the aesthetics of an animal? Another, more tanned student had harpoons dangling from his arms, near the shoulder... Whether they were prehensile or not would change the power of such as quirk by tenfold...

The rest of the students seemed to be like him, and were not mutants. As such, it would be impossible to actually tell what their quirk was without outright asking, and the thought was impossible for a young man that was raised in a high class environment, such as Karada. There only appeared to be a single female student out of the bunch, and Karada was sure to keep her in his peripheral vision at all time. He would have also used his quirk, but being on a moving vehicle made that option impossible.

Karada realized he was so busy investigating the other students that he completely forgot that the surroundings were slowly shifting. The trees were now all around them, and the oppressive gray sky was ready to downpour at any moment. Luckily, the winds didn't bother Karada that much. He was used to the cold, and his suit provided him with a slight protection against the cold. The scene reminded him of youth, being locked outside of the house while dinner parties were being held by his parents... Reading and playing with the family dogs... Sleeping in the rain because he did something wrong... Nursing wounds...

Karada slowly removed and put out he cigarette. The filter felt white hot to the touch, which wasn't caused by the heat of the flame. The suits materials pricked him like needles, leaving him gasping for air and clutching his heart. It was moments like this that all the things in his youth came crashing down on him, threatening to bury him under their mass. After what felt like an eternity. but was barely more than 5 seconds, Karada steadied his breathing, leaned back in the truck, and prayed none of his classmates saw him having an episode. The thought that one of his classmates may remember him from the scandal briefly filled him with intense fear, and he was about to have another fit when the voice of the bearded driver rung out, bringing him back to the present.

"Line up side to side at the bottom of the stairs. Give your name up one at a time. The boss doesn't like to be kept waiting."

Karada made the perilous journey to escape the truck, slowly masking his way to the side and lowering himself to the ground. After he finished doing so, he immediately lit a new cigarette - Gotta keep up appearances. The school itself was far from impressive, looking more like a house than a institute of education. Hell, with the staff that they've seen so far, Karada wouldn't be surprised if they had to cook their own meals! But to be honest, Karada planned to cook his own meals either way. He felt more comfortable knowing what was in his food. A man that demanded all attention though, was the red-eyed, horned individual standing at forefront of the school, seemingly welcoming the group of students to their education. The figure was very imposing... The brief thought to run had crossed Karada's mind, but turning revealed that the shuttle bus had already departed. Puffing out another burst of smoke, Karada made his way to the slowly forming line, taking the far right as his position.

"Karada Fudosan. It's an honor, sir."
This looks pretty cool! If there is still room, I'll post a CS tomorrow.
Sounds interesting, reminds me of Misfits. Mind posting the CS when you finish it?
The sun was low in the horizon, coloring the sky in a deep orange-gold that was beautiful to gaze at. The sound of automobiles sounded in the distance, and every now and then a bird flew over head. The smell of the city was filled with a queer combination of the exhaust of vehicles and the smell of people just beginning to cook their dinners for the day. The restaurants on the side of the road, however, were the only thing that captivated Shiina, her mouth watering at all the options laid before her. Itamemono, Yakitori, Tempura, Takoyaki... Hell, with the money her mom gave her for dinner, she may be able to afford some expensive sushi! Ogata simply gazed at the various names of the restaurants, attempting to pick out the ones that had delicious sweets, until Shiina pushed her back into her bag. There was no way she was risking being discovered as a magical girl... Although, that would make her even more popular... No, the risk was too great! In the end, she settled on a smaller Udon shop that she heard her friend Kumiko talk about during lunch.

Several minutes and 500 Yen later, a steaming bowl of noodles was placed in front of the drooling pink-haired school girl, and she slowly slid the Higashi she bought for Ogata into her bag. Picking up and disconnecting her chopsticks, Shiina quickly began to devour the food as if she hadn't eaten in days. I have to remember to thank that guy taking mom out tonight!, Shiina thought to herself. She was glad that her mother was beginning to go out and look for somebody. After all, raising a child alone is difficult, and considering how Shiina acted, her mother must have been going through a tough time. These thoughts were disturbed when she realized that she hadn't used the bathroom the entire day. Embarrassed, she quickly devoured the rest of her bowl, wiped her face of noodles that missed her mouth, and quickly made her way to the bathroom.

The bathroom was very nice, considering she was in some random Udon shop. Her friend, Satoko, talked about them as if they were gas station restrooms... But then again, considering very few people were eating in the shop, it seemed as though not many people came to the shop. Not complaining about the unexpected cleanliness, Shiina, entered one of the stalls and did her business. Quickly leaving, she washed her hands and returned to the restaurant, realizing that she left Ogata all alone! She quickly checked her bag, thankful to see Ogata playing on Shiina's phone and breaking pieces off of the (relatively) large Higashi. Closing the bag, she turned towards the man behind the counter, realizing she now had more room in her stomach for dinner.

"Hey, Ojiisan! Another bowl this way!"

"It's Ojisan, brat! I'm only 45..."

Taking another 500 yen, the old looking shopkeeper began to prepare another bowl of Udon, allowing Shiina to have plenty of time to gaze around the shop. It had a wooden floor and was very traditional in style, with paper room dividers blocking off separate parts of the shop, and the only light being provided besides the outside sun were paper lamps. It seems as though while she was in the bathroom the dinner rush came in, as the number of customers seems to have more than tripled in the short time frame. In fact, the crowd was so large that Shiina decided to try and look for any of her classmates or friends, but before she could begin, she heard a voice close to her call out.

"Here ya go kid, thanks for the patronage"

A steaming bowl of Udon was deposited right in front of Shiina and, feeling a second wind overtake her, she began to eat, albeit significantly slower and more carefully than earlier. Despite this extra precaution though, it was still very messy. Numerous separate thoughts began to overtake her, such as what her mother's (possible) boyfriend was like, the types of clothes she planned on buying, if anyone she knew was in the shop, and what patrol was going to be like tonight.
What time of the year is it? Is it the beginning of the school year, or has it been going on for a while now?

@GodOfWar
None of our quirks are flashy, so we can save a ton on special effects!
@HereComesTheSnow
Yeah, and she's one of the few of us that has an actual finisher, which opens up a lot of combos (Like shortening the distance between her and an enemy, and then using her finisher)
Alright, so far we have:

  • Fiery champion of justice with a sweet tooth (DPS)
  • Technology illiterate maiden with super speed, knives, and a watered down version of Mystic Eyes of Death perception (DPS)
  • Stereotypical "Believe in yourself!" dumb-dumb with ribbons (CC/Support)
  • The Smarty pants with space manipulation and a big sword (DPS/Support)
  • The upbeat yet determined girl with sanic speed (DPS)
  • The independent loli that loves animals (Ranged DPS)
  • The meek newbie with a power so complex that I can't even understand it, in a good way. (DPS, Support, Some CC)

Jesus, We're prepared for pretty much any situation
@VitaVitaAR
