Current Graduation has happened - I am no longer a teacher. Won't have to work 12 hour days + weekends anymore, so maybe I'll actually have enough time for hobbies.

I sound like a broken record, but only 2 months left till I'm done teaching. Not sure what's next, but it feels like anything would pay more and be less stressful lol

Teacher update: I feel like a villain from a cartoon. The laughter of teenagers gives me migraines, and I no longer feel guilt when giving bad grades to kids that sleep through my lessons.

JED awoke at 8:30 AM, his system slowly booting online as his battery finished recharging. He automatically powered himself on after reaching a full battery, a vain attempt to compensate for his short battery life. Of course, having to spend a majority of the day offline was by no means efficient, but what could he do about it? Instead, JED stressed over the growing crowds that almost constantly surrounded the apartment building. They had always been a problem, but they were rapidly growing as the number of mutants in their ranks increased. JED respected their right to peacefully assemble, but they made it somewhat difficult to leave the apartment. In fact, most of the time, JED had to sneak his lumbering body through the emergency exit, doing his best to hide his monstrous body. JED didn't enjoy their hatred - well, to be more specific, he didn't enjoy their hatred towards his actions. JED was perfectly fine with their anger towards him - it was unjustified, but they were entitled to their opinions. They couldn't do anything to hurt him because of his durability, and their words could be ignored. But they were also the people that hated everything he did - every time JED tried to work at the soup kitchen, he was rejected because the homeless wouldn't take pity from a monster. They wouldn't allow him to assist with construction or any other charity work, refusing to be helped. Thanks to that, JED was forced to spend most of his time cleaning the apartment building or doing menial chores. Slowly, the robot realized it had not turned on it's sensors, and slowly, the world came into view.

The boiler was humming gently, and the breaker was directly to Jed's left. The outlet, the only one in the room, was completely empty. The room itself was barren, devoid of any customization or personalization - it was your typical boiler room, made of metal and concrete. This was his room. Considering he was a robot and didn't need the comforts that humans need, JED offered to stay in the boiler room, a relatively large area that had space that would, otherwise, go to waste. This was fine by the other occupants. especially since he was out of sight. Slowly, the crystalline legs shapeshifted, pushing JED upwards into a standing position. He then began to walk at a slow, almost laughable pace, gently manipulating his arms in order to open the door - a task that requires the utmost precision. Finally, JED managed to accomplish this feat, and he slowly, with extreme care, maneuvered his body out of the small door frame without breaking anything. JED looked around - Timothy's area was, as always, heavily locked, and the washing area had no activity. Storage was locked behind a closed door, and JED had never had a reason to go inside - he didn't own a single possession, so he had no reason to. The elevator was another place that JED had never entered - he alone exceeded the weight limit, leaving him to use the stairs. Behind him, the emergency exit, the one he entered in order to escape to the outside world, was closed with a neon exit sign a few inches above it. Most humans would find it completely depressing, but JED had grown fond of the area over the last 7 months.

The slow pace eventually got JED to the stairs, which he slowly began to ascend. Upon making it to the top, JED peaked around the corner, looking at the crowd gathering outside the gate. It was large, consisting of at least 2 dozen people, all of whom held signs in their hands. They started to yell insults, and emerging from the crowd soaked, was Garfield. When the two were introduced, JED was sure to keep his distance - if he exploded, some people nearby may get very injured. He entered through the gate, and JED opened the door for him, and Garfield quickly made his way to the lounge. Just then, the announcement sounded throughout the entire building.

"Will all Rogue X members please come down to the lounge. You have fifteen minutes to get ready. I repeat. All Rogue X members please come down to the lounge. You have fifteen minutes to get ready."

Glad that he had something to do, JED began to follow Garfield into the lounge, positioning himself into a corner. He didn't feel discomfort from standing and the chairs would not be able to hold his weight, so JED simply stood constantly when he wasn't charging. Chibi was one of the first to arrive, followed by Serenity and the others. Overall, JED liked the team a great deal - they were the closest thing he had to a family, and humans were supposed to be very connected with their families. JED greeted them as they arrived waving his jagged, sharp arm.
@AngelofOctober
Yeah, sorry for the wait. Schoolwork and job have kept me a little swamped. Working on a post now!
Super interested! I plan on making a weapon, but I can play a Meister if we get too many weapons/ the pairs are imbalanced.
Just finished a Paladin, so we have a tank as well.

Also interested. I don't really care either way if we do or don't use dice, so I'll let the others vote on that.
Victor Lewis

Victor was, in a word, bored. The monthly meetings, which they all were forced to attend, dragged on with the pace of a snail on horse tranquilizers, and the monotony of Mr. Ikkyou's voice was not helping Victor remain conscious in the slightest. Victor was barely registering his teammates beside him, focusing entirely on keeping his heavy eye lids from snapping closed. It wasn't until the soft, slightly nervous voice of the woman hit his ears that Victor's eyes shot open. Ms. P! She was one of the few ladies present, outside of his team, and her presence was always appreciated. Adjusting his beret and wiping the drool from his mouth, Victor rested his elbow on the table in front of the team, and then place his fist against his chin. Ms. P didn't even notice, and was already addressing the team leader, Ms. Shourichi.

"Ah, um, Commander Shourichi, do you and your team have uhm, plans to deal with an attack during the delivery?"

Ms. Shourchi didn't speak for a few seconds, but immediately, her bombastic and cool voice broke the silence of the room.

"You bet your nice little ass that we have a plan."

Victor immediately broke into applause, nodding in agreement with the statement. He sure as hell didn't know what their plan was, but Ms. P did have a nice, if petite, derriere. He slowly stopped the enthused applause, just as Ms. Shourichi continued with her statement.

"I don't know the whole plan myself, but we shouldn't have any problems on an escort mission, even if we run into something. All components that can be waterproofed are waterproofed, and there's no reason to doubt Promethion can function in an aquatic environment. Noooo sweat."

Victor continued to nod, agreeing with the sentiments. He also had no clue what the hell their plan would be, but the Sharur was built to withstand intense pressure and was airtight to allow underground travel. It should be able to function in underwater conditions... Only problem was, Sharur could only use it's legs for propulsion, and was far too heavy to float. If Victor fell into a deep body of water, he would have to abandon ship and pray he could swim for it. Of course, these concerns didn't manifest themselves on Victor's face, which remained as cocky and brash as usual.

"C'mon Ms. P, you know we can handle it, even if we ran in guns blazing. We're just that awesome!"

Victor was about to lean back in his chair and place his legs on top of the desk, before realizing that the last time he did that, he fell and got a concussion. Instead, he chose to to place his hands behind his head and lean back as much as possible without pushing the chair legs off the ground. That was when a higher pitched, slightly effeminate voice spoke up near Victor.

"Ms. Stoll seems to have some concerns!"

Ah, there he was. Turning his head, Victor saw the beaming face of Michel. Kid was pretty girly, but Victor planned on molding the youngster after his own image. After all, he was the only other male pilot, and Victor always wanted to be looked up to as a role model. Victor liked the kid though - He was nice, respectful, and the kid always did his best to help out the team. Victor honestly wished he was more like Michel in that regard - hell, he kind of thought of himself as a scumbag! But Michel was a good kid, and was even helping out Ms. Stoll. Speaking of...

Victor turned his attention towards her, just as the woman started signing. Victor had joined the sign language class in high school for his foreign language credits since the teacher was quite attractive and the Spanish teacher hated his guts. Even being raised in a Cuban family, Victor knew that Mr.Ramirez would have found a way to make him fail that class. He certainly didn't remember half the stuff he learned, but this would be a good chance to check out Ms. Stoll. Victor leaned closer, doing his best to look like he was watching all of her motions carefully.

<The glorious Commander prefers improvisation, since we do not know what each Kaiju will be like anyway. A basic plan usually suffices. What security precautions are being taken?>

Obviously, Victor was barely able to pick up any words at all, most of Ms. Stoll's motions being incredibly fast paced and fluid. However, Victor managed to understand several words while looking at her rack, which surprised even him.

"Something something Improvise-something. Then she said some more stuff, I heard a 'plan', and 'usually'. Finally, she asked something about security, and I know it was a question cause she also said 'what'."

Victor mimicked Hazel, holding his arms at about shoulder width apart with palms faced up, the sign for 'What'. After doing so, he took off his beret and ruffled his hair, before groaning in frustration.

"UGGHH, Whatever, I suck at sign language - Anybody got a pen and paper?" Victor called out, completely oblivious to the notebook in Hazel's pocket.
