Current Graduation has happened - I am no longer a teacher. Won't have to work 12 hour days + weekends anymore, so maybe I'll actually have enough time for hobbies.

I sound like a broken record, but only 2 months left till I'm done teaching. Not sure what's next, but it feels like anything would pay more and be less stressful lol

Teacher update: I feel like a villain from a cartoon. The laughter of teenagers gives me migraines, and I no longer feel guilt when giving bad grades to kids that sleep through my lessons.

Mana: 450/500

The Three wolves fell relatively quickly, thankfully leaving the party unharmed. Theo contemplated the thought of asking for some healing, but wasting mana was detrimental for a healer, and he still had plenty of health left. Instead, the group held a vote, and decided to head for the dead end. After all, it was clearly the wrong direction, so it had to have loot!

It only took a dozen or so seconds to walk towards Area B, and the sight of a number of chests appeared before them. Turns out this was the smart choice! Just as Theo was about to rush for the treasure and see if his searching skill would help him find extra loot, but a white flash quickly blocked their path. Focusing his eyes, Theo realized - it was another wolf, but this one was far larger, and more threatening. Reylan gave out orders, just as he had for the last match, but Theo noticed a key flaw - he wouldn't be able to draw the aggro. His attacks were nowhere near as ferocious as the mages and Aster, and the wolf would surely ignore him if he just attacked... It was the smart decision, but it would lead to Aster most likely taking a hit.

Three arrows flew past Theo's head in rapid succession, and he was snapped back to his senses. A blast of water also flew towards the Wolf, coming from where Karma was. Dirk quickly began to close the distance between himself and the wolf, planning to grab hold of the wolf - this way, the creature would be unable to attack anyone without either shaking Theo off, or killing him. Before he was able to, however, an intense blast of heat hit the wolf, causing Theo to pause. He might get set on fire if he grabbed it now...

Theo maneuvered himself in front of the Wolf, slicing at it across the face, aiming for it's eyes. After doing so, he heard Alsiea begin to cast another spell, and decided to place himself between the wolf and the squishier members of the party.

Summary:
Theo runs towards the wolf
Basic Attack with Longsword
Tries to block the path between Wolf and rest of the party

Circus Maximus

@Sickle-cell

The trip itself was fairly simple - just had to go down Victory Lane, and it was the creepy, abandoned looking building. It was this road where Robby found him. The memory was foul - Tony was a wreck, covered in scratches and bruises, and hadn't eaten for a few days. Some people were nice enough to offer money, but the majority just wrote him off as some kid that was just another homeless in a big city. The guys at the taverns and bars were far different than usual - they didn't want Tony to just hang around. He was there as entertainment, to have some new guy lose a paycheck in some card game. They didn't want to risk their necks supporting Tony in case the law got involved - honestly, Tony understood their sentiments. But they could have at least offered him some food! Tony just spent his days back then wandering around, roaming until the cold night air bit into him and he eventually fainted for the next day.

That's when Robby found him. To be honest, the shit that Tony gave the Wonderland was deserved. but at least they gave him a place to sleep and a few meals a day. They were more family then his father was, and some of his closest friends were a part of the place.

That still didn't make it any easier to walk inside though. Just cause some of these guys were alright didn't mean that everyone wasn't out for themselves. Tony made sure to not bring his wallet in case he got mugged, and was already wearing the Ski mask he had bought a little over a year ago. The thing was tattered around the edges, but it sure lasted longer then you would expect for a $5 mask. Other than that, he had one last thing - a pistol, holstered on his belt, hidden by his suit jacket. This had been Tony's first big purchase after landing an apartment with Daniel, solely to protect himself. Even with his power, he didn't want to get killed by some thug who needed his next fix. The metal was cool, chilled by the night air, and Tony prayed he never had to use it. After all, he had never fired it, or any gun for that matter. If he was lucky, it would be able to scare any angry betters. He gave a knock on the shoddy door, being sure to raise the mask and allow the door man to see his face. Tony didn't know if the Wonderland put in some new password or something for the Circuses, but most of the gang knew who he was from face alone.

Everything was just as Tony remembered - but that was probably cause it was only a few weeks since he left. The preparations were already completed, and several people had already arrived. Tony quickly made his way to the small area next to the ring, where he usually conduted the bets. As he did so, he looked around, searching for a familiar face - unfortunately, he was unable to find Robby, arguably the nicest (or least aggressive) person he'd be able to meet. He was probably going to show up in time for the first fight, which Tony still needed to figure out. Several people were invited, but out of them, the only one who seemed like he'd come was Sickle-cell. His fight last year was so incredible it earned the Wonderland a decent chunk of change from bets alone... Poor Juggernaut though. Guy was big, but was decent by Wonderland standards.

Tony sighed slightly. Most people probably remember that match, and when he comes into the ring, it may require some bribery to make sure he doesn't kill his opponent. Even without a power the guy is deadly, and Tony has no clue if he even has a power. If he did, Tony felt bad for whoever had to go against the guy... But hey, the Wonderland would probably save that guy for the finale or something. Maybe Pipeline would even make an appearance? That would make a shitstorm...

Tony sat into his small folding chair, which was one of his few possessions while in the Wonderland, and looked forwards. The betting area was almost comically similar to a lemonade stand, with a small desk in front of Tony containing papers and notes on the bets and who made them. On top was a simple envelope, which Tony reluctantly opened. The first thing that met his eyes was the first match - Sickle-Cell Vs. Automaton...

Who the hell was Automaton? Their was nothing describing either side, other than a small amount of writing under Automaton's name that simply read "Tinker". Tony knew Sickle-Cell, so and his last match would provide an excellent introduction, but what was he going to say about this Automaton? Whatever - Tony would just do what he always did in these situations.

Pray no one like Pipeline comes near him, and do whatever he needed to do to keep himself from pissing someone like Pipeline off.
Will try and post sometime tomorrow.

@Sickle-cell

The man smirked slightly and began to speak, Tony barely able to hear the words over his pounding heart.

“Professional. Not like your friend, there. I’m almost impressed. Might be a future in this city for you - not like the majority of Wonderland’s goons. Forgive the handgun. It’s nothing personal. You tend not to survive very long in this line of work without taking precautions... And yes. We did know, but not coming along regardless is impolite. Be seeing ya, kid.”

The man began to leave, and it wasn't until the door to the cafe had closed completely that Tony allowed his tense muscles to relax, releasing a sigh of relief as he did so. The feel of the metal still clung to his skin, and Tony shivered slightly. He had experienced far worse in the Wonderland, but he never planned on going through anything like that again.

"Man, what a prick."

"A smart prick. A smart prick, with a gun. Jesus..."

"Well, his gun wasn't pointed at me, so he was just a prick."

Tony just shook his head silently, doing his best not to laugh. That was a just what Robby would say - he had been in the Wonderland for who-knows-how long, this was probably just like every time he had handed out invitations before. Tony was again reminded how thankful he was that he got the hell out of the Wonderland when he could.

"So... What next?"

"I'm headed back to the Safe house, you don't have anything to do. Just remember to show up to the circus tonight - we all missed you man!"

"Yeah right."

The pair shared a laugh at that, and silently, they exited the cafe, before parting ways. Tony knew the general time the circus started, so he'd show up when he had to... Still, the thought of returning after a few weeks of peace was a little intimidating. When he left, most in the Wonderland were on generally good terms with him, but good terms means jack shit when you're in a den of crazies. Still, despite the fact he wasn't looking forwards to it... Getting to meet some of the guys again seemed like it would be pretty fun. And the promise of the bets made it all the sweeter. Tony made his way home, planning on preparing for the circus.

Not much kept his time, in all honesty - Tony still had the mask from when he used to be an announcer for the circus, and he had only been gone for a few weeks. Still, a few weeks is a long time when you used to sleep with one eye open. Other than that... he was honestly ready. He was too poor back when he joined the Wonderland to afford a good costume, and Tony really never felt the need to get a new one. After all, he sure as hell would never get in the ring.

All that was left was to wait... Tony normally would be too anxious to breathe in this situation - hell, if he knew that the final invitation would end up with a gun against his knee, he probably wouldn't have gone in the first place. But in this case, he really didn't feel too worried - he was going in with insurance this time. The power he had was incredible for a guy like him, the kind of guy that stayed out of things. It would let him get out of a situation if things got sour... hopefully.

Tony laid down on the couch, turned on the television, and began to wait until the circus began.

The scenes that unfolded were rapid, almost too fast paced for Theo and his painfully slow paladin speed. Reylan's arrow was followed up quickly with a blast of lighting from Dubstepp, which nearly outright slaughtered the wolf where it stood. The wolf, despite clearly being close to death, when it ran straight towards Reylan

Shit!!!

The spell he used earlier - he wasn't focused. He cast it on the second wolf by accident, forcing it to claw at him violently. In the corner of his vision, Theo could clearly see the green bar that represented his health go down by about a 20th. Luckily, it seemed that pain was still just as dulled as it was in the previous hunting quest - the hit barely fazed him, and Theo was still able to see Wolf 1 shot in between the eyes before it managed to reach Reylan. Theo nearly let loose a sigh of relief before the sound of ice and gnashing teeth alerted Theo to the third Wolf. It was tearing apart it's icy restraints, and would be free very soon. Theo quickly stepped forwards towards Wolf 2, hoping that would anger it enough to keep attacking him now that Aggravate was wearing off soon. Theo quickly made his way to Wolf 3, pulling back his longsword and swinging violently into it. Hopefully, it would be easier to hit since it was slower.

Summary:
Dirk attacks Wolf 3 with a basic longsword attack.

Reylan appeared to be the one leading the charge for the group, taking the position with little argument. After all, Theo surely didn't feel like leading that morning. The party entered the dungeon after the night had passed, with Theo and Aster in the lead. They progressed a little slower than normal, considering the paladin's class mobility, but they quickly reached the first group of enemies.

The wolves were far more intimidating than the boars from earlier, mostly due to their large size and teeth. Still, Theo moved into the front in order to protect the party, before Reylan called out orders. Theo didn't feel confident in letting Aster tank one of the wolves, but there was no time to argue - especially considering the dire situation. An arrow flew past Dirk, effortlessly sliding into wolf flesh. Dirk didn't have time to to assess the damage, however - a bolt of ice flew from Alisea's direction, hitting the wolf farthest to Dirk's right. Dirk wasn't paying attention, however. He quickly made his way towards the wolf that was Alisea aimed at, doing his best to prevent it from going down the narrow passage that led to his squishier allies.

As he moved, he began to cast Aggravate, unsure if he would be able to finish casting in time to prevent the 1st wolf from attacking Reylan. As he did so, he made sure to keep his shield facing the 3rd wolf, protecting himself from it's attempts to attack.
