Current Graduation has happened - I am no longer a teacher. Won't have to work 12 hour days + weekends anymore, so maybe I'll actually have enough time for hobbies.

I sound like a broken record, but only 2 months left till I'm done teaching. Not sure what's next, but it feels like anything would pay more and be less stressful lol

Teacher update: I feel like a villain from a cartoon. The laughter of teenagers gives me migraines, and I no longer feel guilt when giving bad grades to kids that sleep through my lessons.

Dirk Davidson

Health: 1900/3000
Mana: 50/500

With a grasp that was iron tight and holding on for dear life, Theo made sure not to release the monstrosity's legs - even after it smacked his head several times. Each hit, however, weakened his grasp - until with the resonating sound of fur smacking against metal, he was thrown off. Immediately, the beast ran forwards, and attacked the person that Theo wanted him to attack the least. Karma's health rapidly began to disappear, black flooding to replace the red of his health bar - The bosses final cries of pain were almost muted against Theo's ears as he ran towards the healer.

Thanks to his poor mobility, by the time he got to Karma, he had already healed himself, the treasure was collected, and the dungeon was gone.

The thrill of winning the boss fight was bitter sweet - They had succeeded, but two people had nearly died. And that was no one's fault but his own. He had nearly killed two innocent, human beings... The funny thing was, in the old world, he probably wouldn't have cared too much. But these people were his friends... and Theo wasn't strong enough to protect them.

But Dirk was.

Upon getting healed and having the loot distributed, the newcomer in the group was welcomed officially - Lehariel joined the guild. While she was of use, Theo questioned how she would interact with the rest of the party. But of course, the first order of business was being friendly - Dirk was always kind to others, unless they were villainous adversaries! His voice choked slightly from exhaustion, but Theo spoke out.

"I... It's a pleasure to have you on the team! The assistance is well appreciated! Know that I, Dirk Davidson, protect the innocent - especially those that are a part of the Legion of the Wolf!"

As he spoke, he posed in order to show that his character - after all, this girl seemed very interesting, and he wanted her to know Dirk and his beliefs well. Finishing, he began to allocate his stats - once more, he threw many points into his health and acting. However, noticing the slowness of his actions in combat, he chose to surprisingly raise his agility - The rest of his points were thrown into mana in order to use his soon-to-be acquired spells.

Aster thankfully managed to bring the group back to town with some special item, and Theo was incredibly thankful for it. His muscles were tired, especially from that last, desperate grapple. He noticed Karma's silence, but did not speak. The man must have hated Theo, and the feeling ate at him horribly. It was his fault that Karma took any damage at all - if he had only held on a little tighter, or had only a little more mana... He could have saved him from taking so much damage. Theo felt his throat tighten, only now noticing his thirst and hunger. He was going to need to buy some rations and a water skin.

Silently opening his menu, Theo sent out a single private message towards Alisea.

"I'd like to talk with you later tonight, if you don't mind."

Whoops, didn't know that. Fixing now.
Kozo

While the other gods and essential made a grand entrance, Kozo appeared similarly to his thought process - simply. He materialized out of thin air, his birth being marked by the ringing bell. Almost instinctively, Kozo understood his purpose as he materialized - Help the mortals! After all, if his birthplace was modeled after Mortal architecture, than they surely were wiser than they appeared - and even if they weren't, Kozo almost couldn't resist the thought of helping anyone he saw. Still - now wasn't the time for that!

Surrounding him was the sea of nothingness, the blank white expanse that ecompassed nearly the entire Divine Realm - within view, however, was the massive structure known as the Highest Court. It was the only thing that stood out - and Kozo knew instinctively that it was where he needed to go.

After flying for what felt like hours, but was really only a few minutes, Kozo finally made it to the doorway of the Highest Court - which was already open. Sitting inside were 2 individuals - the one taking all of the attention was the essential, Zhystkrexas. Kozo avoided speaking - not only because of the being's menacing aura, but also because Kozo did not feel confident in even attempting to speak the beings name. He found it hard to say, and Kozo's mouth was unsuited for such complex speech. The other figure, feminine and similarly intimidating, was also sitting in the front. Kozo was unaware of her name - perhaps he only knew of the essentials?

No matter the case, Kozo did not enjoy the presence of either of them - both had a strange air about them, which caused him to find them... unappealing, to be honest. As such, Kozo chose to sit near the back of the court, using his small size to take up less space and be less noticeable.
Goblin Doku

Day One

The light was faint against his eyelids - the young goblin could barely see the figure in front of her. The dripping of water drops could be heard faintly, and the scenery showed that she was in a cavern of some sort. As she focused on the figure, she slowly saw it come into his view - her eyes were adjusting to the bright light. It was a shade of green, shorter than the average man, and wrinkles covered the creature like cracks in a porcelain doll. As she stared at it, a completely foreign word interjected into her mind.

Goblin.

A strange word. Foreign, alien, and almost threatening. A word you don't want to be in the same room with. Yet, at the same time, the young goblin was almost instinctively familiar with it and it's concept.

It was a shock to see a being like this, and it took every fiber in his being to keep his eyes open long enough to hear the beast - before he immediately fell unconscious.

Day Three

The wrinkly Goblin had fed the young goblin the last few days, along with the other small green creatures. She was gifted clothes on his second day of existence - not a necessity, but it was nice to have the most minor of protections. Even though she had only been alive for three days, she was already decently tall - far taller than the human equivalent (Not that she knew about the humans). Briefly, she was shocked with her own growth - a few days prior, she was unable to even stand, let alone walk around.

Soon, another goblin ran by the female goblin, and she jumped slightly back - the goblin was about her age, and was running full force. More than a few times, she tripped horribly and cut herself. The young goblin shook her head - Of course they would have lots of energy after growing so quickly, but that was simply foolish. No sense in wasting energy - especially considering their current abode was a cave. It took several minutes, but the young goblin soon mastered walking without tripping - taking it at an easy pace. She probably couldn't run as well as the other female goblin, but at least she wouldn't be complaining about a hungry stomach.

As the female ran outside, the young goblin noticed a small gathering form around the elder - even a new born knew the vital nature of knowledge, and how it would assist her. The first thing that needed to be done was to gather information. She had to know everything she could about where she was, and why she was there - the sooner she got answers, the sooner she could get back to doing whatever needed to be done.
Theodore Smith

Health: 1050/2000
Mana: 50/500

With a single slash, the guard nearly killed Alisea - Theo's blood ran cold as the massive gash spread across her torso. He promised to protect them, and one of them was dying fight in front of him... Luckily, the health stopped just as it hit 20 - Reylan noticed immediately, as did Karma. Thankfully, the healer raised her back up almost immediately - and as her health rose, so did Theo's anger. Why the hell was she thinking, bringing the enemy close to her?! In no game had Theo seen a character with so little health want to be so close to an opponent - it was ridiculous. And to think, she was the one who was angry at Dubstepp for lying about his class - at least Dubstepp didn't do something so risky during a boss fight. He was going to have to talk with her after they made it back to town. With her health back in the green, Theo turned his attention back to the boss - just in time for a fist to smack him in the face.

The punch completely knocked the wind out of him - how could it not have? He was knocked all the way across the arena, and only stopped when he hit Reylan. The impact didn't really hurt Theo all that much, and he was honestly more worried he hurt Reylan when their healer was already so low on mana. As Reylan and Theo made it to their feet, Reylan ordered Theo to go back and be the damage sponge.

"Don't gotta tell me twice..."

The only problem was that nothing he had could do anything. Status effects didn't work on the thing, and Theo sure as hell couldn't out pace the others in damage enough to gain the aggro... Still, he ran back towards the boss.

Some of the others were being healed by Karma, but Theo knew that they should start buckling down on damage - the longer they spent licking their wounds, the more the herald could lick his own. And he was a hell of a lot better at it. Three arrows passed from behind, shot off by Reylan when he finished his orders. From another direction, fire and ice flew towards the creature. With so many projectiles flying, it wasn't safe to tackle the monster... And there was no easy way to gain aggro. To minimize the damage to others, Theo did something he had just chastised Alisea for - he did something risky.

Even with 1050 HP, he didn't feel comfortable doing what he was about to do. It would drag all the attention onto him, and the Herald was an incredibly heavy hitter - there was a chance that it may be able to finish him off. Still, it would protect the others long enough to get damage in, and Karma had just gotten all his mana back - By distracting the enemy, even if he had to run and be healed, the battle would be over very quickly - Karma would only have to heal Theo if the plan worked.

Sheathing his sword and moving his shield to his back, Theo grasped onto the Herald's legs - upon doing so, he gripped as tightly as possible. If the Herald wanted to escape, it would have to pry Theo off of him - and even then, he'll be sure to have all of the Herald's attention. With his back faced upwards, the Herald would have to either reach around the shield to hit him, or simply tear him off - and with the Herald's strength, he wouldn't be surprised if it could tear him off. Holding his breath in preparation of the hit, Theo was thankful he was wearing full plate - at least no part of his body was exposed to the monster.

Summary:
Get off Reylan
Run towards Herald and sheath weapon/shield
Grapple Herald's legs
Hold on tight
