Race: Fish-Man (box jellyfish)

Blood Type: X
Age: 36
Height: 5'7 (172 cm)
Weight: 148 pounds (67 kilo)
Role In Crew: Helmsman

Dream: To free as many slaves as possible
Appearance Details: His "hair" actually consists of tentacles and the sea green spotted cap is actually part of his body.
Personality: Zerry does his best to stay calm and collected in every situation, never showing how surprised he is when something strange happens. Despite generally pulling this act off there are a couple of surefire ways to get him worked up, the presence of World Nobles and slavery being the biggest ones. When neither of his berserk buttons is being pressed he speaks in a politely sarcastic manner towards his enemies. He often taunts and belittles his foes if they are young, in and out of battle, often taunting them about being a hundred years too young to be able to amuse him in a fight. That said he does know how dangerous his job is and constantly keeps his guard up.
Biography:Zerry grew up on Fish-man Island hearing stories about Merfolk and Fish-men being enslaved by Marines and Pirates alike. Luckily he avoided being radicalized because he had met several pirates who didn't try to kidnap anyone for slaves, but he still developed a hatred for the practice as well as the World Nobles who allowed it and benefitted the most of it.
Deciding to do something about it Zerry joined the Fish-Man Karate Dojo and spent several years training until he felt ready to fight off slavers. Unfortunately the first group he attacked were sent by the World Government and while he managed to prevent them from capturing too many slaves they did still get some and branded him a pirate.
Seeing no other choice he left his home and traveled the New World, even joining a pirate crew until he left after finding out they were planning to sell him. As a result he was a bit wary when meeting the Sea Reaver Pirates but eventually joined them.
Things went pretty well until the Honorstar Garrison Raid battle. Knowing that against such numbers he wasn't gonna much help in direct combat Zerry focused on taking out ships instead by punching holes in them or breaking the rudders. Eventually though it became clear that there was no way they were gonna win and he decided to run for it. Diving all the way to the bottom of the sea he swam away form the battle and just hoped that some of his comrades also got away and that they would meet again.
Combat Information
Combat Role: Martial Artist
Haki Prowess:Observation: C
Armament: B
Conqueror's: None available
Physical Capabilities:As a Fish-man Zerry is naturally stronger than humans which is even amplified even further when in the water. Also due to being part jellyfish he can deliver painful stings with his tentacles. Since the stinging cells on a box jellyfish's tentacles are not triggered by touch, but are instead triggered by the chemicals found on skin he can control whether to activate this sting effect or not.
Fighting Style:He uses a mixture of Fish-man Karate and Fish-man Jujutsu.
Special Techniques:- Whirlpool Lifter/Uzushio Ipponzeoi: Zerry grabs the arm of the enemy while facing the opposite direction and throws them over his shoulder, causing them to fall to the ground using both his arms and tentacles. This technique is effective against enemies much larger than he is.
- Water Shot/Uchimizu: Zerry hurls a simple droplet of water at his opponent, which can become a deadly bullet with the kinetic force created by his immense fishman strength.
- Rain/Ame: A modified version of Water Shot where Zerry uses his tentacles to launch a large amount of weaker Water Shots at the same time.
- Spear Wave/Yarinami: A technique used on a body of water's surface. Zerry heaves a spear-shaped burst of water with enough force to punch a hole in solid structures.
- Four Thousand Tile True Punch/Yonsenmaigawara Seiken: A much-stronger version of the "Thousand Tile True Punch/Senmaigawara Seiken. It is a very powerful straight punch that can send an opponent bigger than Zerri flying backwards. As indicated by the name this technique can break through four thousand tiles.
- Jellyfish Sting/Kurage Sasu: Zerry slaps his opponent with his tentacles ands uses his poison to deliver a painful sting with a paralyzing effect, though the paralysis can be ignored by strong enough opponents. As this technique requires skin contact Armament Haki as well as clothes can block the effect of Zerry's poison, and it of course is nothing more than a normal slap against anyone immune to box jellyfish poison.
