I came to realize that the only reason I'm so attached to the blue and red is the fact that I've seen the costume thousands of times. It's fine. It's cool. It's iconic, but I don't feel like it actually represents him particularly well. I know of no red and blue spiders. The webbing is the only detail that feels right. I stick like it, but think it's kinda dumb from a design perspective. I think the symbiote spider-suit is actually the most suitable design.
Am I the only one who actually hates the PS4 Spider-Man costume? I feel like it's got way too much going on at this point.

Not a Lantern, persay, but the Relic storyline had something akin to a blue lantern who was powered by Duracell faith.

Spider-Man's history is so convoluted that you might aswell throw in the towel right now. I'd probably outright skip the 80's and 90's.
Superman's is pretty zigzagged too, given all the various retcons and Electric Supermen and the entirety of the Silver Age being batshit insane and such.
