I take it back. You're the new NR. There was so much tryhard here.

Well, I'll be damned.

Oh! Wait, Manchester Black is kind of an anarchist icon isn't he?

Not so far as I know. I see how you could draw connections, though, between the Sex Pistols inspired aesthetic anti-establishment philosophy.

Edit: He does strike me as very punk.
I think everyone will live.

If everyone lives he's going to be one incompetent Manchester Black.
Makes sense with the trailer, kind of, but it's confirmed the next villain coming to Supergirl (IDK if he's a season long or just one off) is Manchester black.

Quite literal with the casting.

Sometimes it really makes me wonder if these people bother with reading the source material they're adapting or if they just look at the Wikipedia pages.
Or maybe "Fuck Batman" lowered my expectations. I don't know.

Maybe this will put them under the ground.
As soon as they tried to rush an interconnected movie-verse without laying the groundwork just to compete with Marvel, they failed. I was fine with MoS. Was it a great movie? No. Was it a perfect Superman film? Not at all. But I enjoyed it enough to watch it a second time. And then, after one movie, what do they do? Immediately throw everything together without any apparent real plan. In my opinion, that was foolish and a fatal flaw. And ever since then, they've been pulling an NR and trying far too hard. If they just relaxed and focused they could get their shit together. But I don't see that happening anytime soon, if ever. Not until they pull a Crisis out of their ass and reboot the whole damn thing.

What am I trying too hard at? I feel like I kinda missed the foundational bits of becoming a cornerstone.

NR only thinks he's angsty. And then he tries really hard to convince the rest of us that that is the case.
Mister Rogers had more genuine angst than NR ever will.

I'd personally rather see a Netflix Spider-Man than ever see another Spider-Man movie.
I knew I hated the Flash show when they had Barry say something along the lines of "My life is already over, I can't even drink" because his metabolism sobered him up rapidly.
That's not the only thing you wish you could blow.

You mean like Marilyn Manson? Nah. I'd rather fight the forces of darkness and stagnation and destroy myself before I have time to start cringing at the bomb shadows of people's dreams and ideals. I'd like to blow people's minds. I'd like to blow stupid ideas out of the water. I'm so sick of being bored to be fashionable. I'd rather blow myself to smithereens.
