Vivian wasn't like Malkai or Catarina who pretty much lived up on the surface world most of their lives. They were used to the sun and had it much better then she did. She had lived most of her live in the underdark and out here the sun felt like it was baking her from the outside in. It did not take long for her lips to feel dry and cracked as well. Then suddenly she heard the voice of Catarina offering her a drink from her canteen. She was very pleased with that thought and she also felt that the conditions got a bit better too. As if a certain druid just cast a spell to help them. She was almost caught in a moment with a smirk forming until suddenly. SPLASH. Malkai thought it would be funny to soak them with a water spell. It was likely meant for his own skin but still. She was soaked... Catarina was soaked. She began to notice just how the water glistened on Catarina's face and her wet hair. She looked rather appealing to her. The way her underclothing stuck to her skin and then it hit her... her own clothing was revealing as it was and wasn't very water proof. She looked down at herself and saw that her already revealing outfit was even more revealing. Showing a bit more then she wanted to. She sighed and was thankful that being a drow her dark skin would hide the embarrassment shown on her face. She might as well be naked for the clothing pretty much revealed what was underneath now that it was wet. Sticking to her own skin and she looked up at Catarina and smirked. "Well things just got interesting....." She said and wanted to take up that offer about the water skin. When she took it she looked inside and saw that there was not very much. A few drops more in it then it had do to the water sports but still... she was afraid this wouldn't last them tell they reached a civilization. By civilization she meant something not tribal. Right now she was beginning to wish she had followed her mother's path and took up being a cleric then a sorceress. She also didn't want Malkai to keep using the water spell either. Even he would have his limits and the last thing they needed was for him to suddenly collapse from exhaustion do to them.
She still did not want to offend Catarina by not taking her little gift and took a tiny drink from the canteen. Not a whole lot just enough to get some moisture in her dry mouth. She even swished it around before swollowing. With that she handed the canteen back to Catarina. "Thanks,... my gratitude is all I can give at the moment. It is not much especially from the likes of me." She said. She figured the trust among the group was still empty. She was drow after all and she wouldn't blame them for still looking at her with suspicion. That reminded her... she needed to rest so she would have enough energy to cast her disguise spell when they got close to the city. She did not want her appearance to be known after all. "Malkai... I plan on resting for a bit. Let me know when the city is in sight. My kin will never be welcomed in civilization. The moment they see me I will be doing more damage then good." She said. The city would fire their arrows at her in a instant they spotted her true self. No second thinking...

The criminals were still silent,... well two of them where. They were more afraid of their master then her. However, the third.... with the efforts of the bard and the lady with the hammer. He burst his guts out. They apparently scared him more then their master.
"... You promise you can protect me?" He said asking the trio. Erika rose her chin up her eyes narrowing at the man. She looked to those around her and then back to him and nodded.
"You have my word,... now tell me what I want to know and you will be under the protection of my order." She said. Whether she was telling the truth or lying couldn't be told. The bard was some what right.... she would not stoop to the level of some bandit and kill the three of them if they told her or not. She would keep her word. If they told her,.. she would keep them safe.
The man gulped and nodded. "Thank you,... we belong to a vampire named Wilhelm. As for his actual location... I don't know that. I never really meet him. He always sent one of his other pawns to meet us here in the city." He looked up at her and then to the bard. "I can tell you where we were meant to meet with this pawn though. Perhaps he can tell you where he is located." The man spoke. Completely believing the trio. Well he wouldn't have at all if not for the bard's spells and voice. How could such a face ever lie.
Erika smiled and nodded. She then bent down and patted the side of the man's face. "Now was that so hard?..." She said. She then looked to the city guards. "As promised he will be under my order's protection. Take him to the monastery. When asked tell them Erika sent you and this man. He is a witness and a source of information on the heresy that is taking place here." She said. The guards nodded and headed on there way. She then turned and faced Veridis and Elleonorah. "Thank you for your aid in that,..." She sighed and put her hands to her hip. "No point in hiding why I am here. Well it is pretty obvious... why would a inquisitor be all the way out here." She then tossed the pendant she took from one of the dead outlaws to Veridis. "That is the reason why I am here. I have been hunting down the master of this vampire cult for some time. All the way back to the land I came. I got pretty close to removing this Wilhelm's head from his shoulders. However, he pulled a fast one on me and ran like the coward he is. After much hunting and searching my investigation has lead me here. To this city." She looked around noticing the eyes that where upon her. She then looked back to the two of them. "Too many eyes here... how would you two like a free housing at the monastery. It is the least I can do for you two helping me." She said. She then began to move past them, but she stopped right close to Veridis and then looked to him. With a much closer look she clarified one simple thing....
"You are too much for this city,... with a handsome face like yours it is no wonder you were hit by outlaws." She said. She tilted her hat at him and kept moving. Whether they took up her offer for free steading or not was up to them.
