With Malkai's buff Catarina was able to keep up with the others fairly easily. She did let Vivian take the lead since she was the only one who could detect traps around this place, and while she is begrudging to admit it, Catarina's own panic likely would make things worse if she had to lead. They ran through the halls and rooms they passed, avoiding falling debris and obstacles in their path. Well the others did. Catarina had her shield out and was more than capable of deflecting or smashing her way through anything that stood in her way. Her final challenge however was something she couldn't simply crush: Climbing a rope. She knew how to do it and it was easy enough, but harder to do in full armor. But she had no time to waste trying to change into something more flexible. Going last, Catarina climbed up the rope as if her life depended on it, because it did.
The first thing Catarina noticed was that their camels and Jarvis' boar was gone. If she had to guess they fled when they felt the temple collapse. Or maybe that dragon ate them, who knows. Catarina didn't really think about it until they were safely away from the temple as it fell into ruins. Before one could say that the ruined tower stood mighty over the sands, but now it was just more grains in the dust. Barely a few minutes passed, and from a distance no one would have known that anything once stood here.
"Well! Glad we made it out alive. But now we have another issue." Looking around, there was no town or civilization within sight. It took them a good few hours to get here on camels; it would take them much longer to get back on foot. Sure they could still salvage what was left of their camp to survive the trek, but they didn't exactly have much for supplies. Jarvis was dead so there goes their portable source of water and food, unless Malkai also happened to be a cleric. Not to mention that if they tried to travel on foot, they'd likely get attacked by orcish raiding parties. She wasn't afraid of a fight every now and again, but they were easy pickings without any means of transportation. On the bright side, if they're lucky and they do get attacked by orcs, maybe if they survive the party could take the orc's camels, if they have any.
"I don't suppose you could summon that dragon here to give us a ride back to the city? I've traveled these sands before and I can assure you, it'll be at least a week's walk assuming we're heading in the right direction."
