Current I'm about to be banished for the good of the realm again. Where is the trust in this world, I ask you?

I'm sorry, you've reached his personal secretary, Department of Shrubbery, Floor 64, Desk 1024. How can we help you today?

Or buy a van or a used rental truck. Something nobody would look twice at. You can put in a rack for the rope, duct tape, plastic sheeting, shovels....

Never trust a car salesman - especially a used car salesman. Have a buddy park across the street and see how many stuffed body bags you can shove in there. Gotta have room for plastic sheeting, etc.

Neil Gaiman wrote in his Good Omens bio that he likes it when fans send him $50. (He read Terry Pratchett's bio and figured it wouldn't hurt.)

Bio

I am a seven-foot tall minecraft-playing hindu guru drag-queen alien.

Possessor of an Ancient Device™ Model 17. No, I don't know what it does. No, you can't play with it.

Pronouns: It. As in: "What is it? What does it want? Why is it here? Oh my god, it's got my... <insert random body part or object here>"

Likes: World Domination, Writing, Rpg, scifi/fantasy, anime, sketchup 3d models, and anime music videos.

Companions: a host of characters from other games, my personal muse Penny (as in Bad), and the Badger gang - Toothpick, Buttons, Shark, and Mongo. They grew up in the balcony of an old theatre that played a lot of gangster movies. Normally benign, but may invade the OOC forums.

"Yeah, let's go up and see if someone's expecting us," Niki grumbled, pulling herself up. She swayed for a moment, then one side of her mouth quirked. "Now who's able to reach the top shelf, huh?"

She glances around, offering a hand to help some of the others up.

"Is it a warm, sunny day outside?" Niki asks. With their luck, it was probably a blizzard. "I've seen to have gone past pale to gray."
I had a thought - Mia's glamor that allows her to pass as human? It doesn't work on mirrors or cameras. While I'm not sure how much tech is in this world, there is likely to be mirrors.
@Expendable What is Mia, exactly?

A Celtic fury - a descendant of Neman, the lesser-known of the three goddesses who make up the Morrígna. She was know for her battle cry that turned 100 men against one another in panic-induced madness. There's also some suggestion her name means poison. Ancient Celts would also paint themselves blue using woad, so I just brought that all together.

Looks good! Move her on into the characters tab.

Interesting we only have female characters so far haha. Wonder why that is.

In her last school, Mia was made the first period hall monitor. On her first day, when students refused to listen to her and the headmistress was about to step in, she did her war cry. Within seconds, the hallways cleared completely as students and staff alike bolted for the nearest room. Not a lot got done that period, as many of them were in the wrong room and everyone was too scared to do more than whimper and cry.

Needless to say, everyone except the custodian avoided her after that.
"Oh, a diagnostic panel?" the Orangutan smiles bemusedly. "A... new one?"

Where had the fox found a 'new' diagnostic panel for a ship over sixty years old?

"Uh, was this like still crated in some warehouse?" Karma pressed, absently putting the cleaning cloth in the pocket of her coveralls as she went to sit down. "I bet someone was happy to finally get rid of it, not like there's a lot of demand for sixty-year old tech. In the yards, if we had to work on one, we just refurbished it because of all the...."

"Wait!" she paused in the act of sitting down, looking over at the captain in a panic. "You want me to swap out a Constellion-class diagnostic panel before we leave?!"

The panel in Engineering was two meters tall and wide! She was looking at two days work, at least! Unless....

"Captain, is this like a universal diagnostic panel?" Since nobody was making the old diagnostic panels anymore, someone had the bright idea of making these large computerized displays that ran an emulator that you just plugged in. And they were cheap. Well, cheap-ish.
