"Tch, looks like your past isn't the only thing you've forgotten, you've told me you forgot it," he said with a small chuckle, "So you've still gotta tell me what you start to remember, and figure out....But Huerona is just a stupid nickname now, your real is Rio. It's less stupid." Kenta had made that official, her real name was Rio to him, fuck Huerona. He looked down at her as she began talking about the last time thing, apparently the Fumio guy and the other two were apart of her past.
That bitch he dragon bombed was probably one of those jealous types, Kenta wouldn't have been surprised. He continued watching her face as she spoke, they didn't end well? She had held her eye....Then called it off. He gripped his Shikai, eyes narrowing, he then looked forward. "I see....You don't have to tell me if you don't want to right now, but from your words and actions I'll assume he had some involvement with your eye. Rio if he hurt you....." he pushed his breath out of his mouth harshly, "....We'll talk about it later, alright?"
Hikari continued analyzing the battlefield, every time they were cut they had multiplied, that's what it seemed like. He watched Shiro the most, who was barraging through the arrancars slicing them, though they only split into two. He wasn't sure if Shiro didn't notice and just kept fighting, or if he noticed and did it on purpose. Either way it went it wasn't helping the war causing Hikari to let out a nervous chuckle.
Though it came to him that when he used Feu the arrancar never got back up or split up....He wasn't sure if it were specific ones, or just one in general that displayed a different ability that included splitting up it's body upon contact of an attack leaving clones that did the same. He'd test it, raising his Shikai up he sliced downwards sending an arc of heat Reiatsu down towards Shiro. The attack hit right beside him destroying some of the arrancar beside Shiro in which they didn't split up or get back up.
Hmmm, Hikari kept thinking. They were still splitting up as others attacked them, causing Hikari to deactivate his Shikai. Time to actually get down there and test this out, Hikari thought as he sheathed his Zanpakuto and landed on the ground. He shot forward slicing an arrancar in half, looking back at the sliced arrancar it split up in two and they both jumped at him in which he side stepped them causing them to fall. He wanted to test his Feu on that same arrancar but he had to wait.
Pulling some random person to him, Takeshi of Squad six, he asked him to attack an arrancar with no ability in which he did causing it to split up. "Hmmm, now can you use an ability on it?" Hikari asked as he placed his hands together, them both resting in the opposite sleeve, it helped him think sometimes. Takeshi nodded and activated his Kūki no bakuhatsu, and shot a large air explosion towards the same arrancar.
The arrancar didn't split up or get up, which Takeshi gave a confused look towards Hikari who smirked a little. "I see, so simple cutting isn't going to work anymore. I'm not exactly sure, but it seems as if Zanpakuto abilities are what's going to work against them....But I'm not so sure about Kido yet, I have a friend who can help me figure some stuff out but he retreated back with Rio of Squad six, hmm...." Hikari turned around, "Takeshi do me a favor and start asking people to use Zanpakuto abilities against the arrancar? I need to find Kenta of Squad six."
Before he got a reply Hikari was off, heading back into the Seireitei, leaving a Takeshi all alone there with his anxiety. Goddammit... Takeshi thought as he turned around and began doing as Hikari asked of him, telling Shinigami to try their abilities. Some worked, and some still began splitting up, but it was working better than slicing them that was for sure.
Once back in the Seireitei Hikari began running forward at his max speed, "Kenta where are you Senpai!?" he yelled as he continued forward. Hmmm, he was with Rio so I assume Squad six? But....Wasn't she injured or something? So Squad four! Either way it goes I have to find him to test out my theory....I'll see the progress with Takeshi once we go back, but I need a good Kido user, Kenta is that user. Hikari thought, he yelled out once more, "Kenta!" but hadn't noticed he ran past Kenta and Rio in which Kenta had stopped walking with his eye twitching.
"What a fucking idiot he is," Kenta said then gave a sigh.
