When you have to disable a new 'advanced' search to get proper search results and learn that 'advanced' means 'AI'. Let's rename it artificial superficiality, short 'AS'. Not to be confused with...

I'm slightly proud of myself having overcome my hate for indoor spiders a bit over the years. In my youth I often eliminated them, now I carry them outside in a jar. Spiders here are harmless though.

Who the hell is this person behind those many miles of fiber optics and copper cable ?
- I'm a 34 year old guy.
- ... who's working as a software developer
- ... and enjoys roleplaying as a casual hobby to distract himself from ongoing stress
And into which hell will I descend with you participating in one of my roleplays?
- I'm a fantasy addict: medieval high and low!
- I'd consider myself to be a low casual roleplayer, 3 paragraphs per post on average.
- My schedule varies. It might happen that I won't be able to post at all for a week, but then again it might happen that I'll reach a sweet spot inside which I can go on a posting rampage. I'd say one can expect 1-2 posts a week from me, depending on the lengths involved.
- English is not my native language, but so far I've not encountered anyone who had had trouble with me over that :)

Sounds very good to me. And I don't know if Vaughtar would be that good at kicking a marine's ass :D He's mainly used to the application of brute force and rather slow on his feet xD

As if to underline that, he did the same thing Xavier did: Grabbing his weapon and holding it in his hand, ready to strike. The thing that was different was that his weapon wasn't a sword, but a huge warhammer that normally was supposed to be used with both hands, not a single one. However Madawc didn't seem to have any problem with that.

Btw. a friend of mine linked me an interesting looking Fantasy Mapping Tool that seems to be free to use (except for having to provide an email address). A general map of the area would be a really nice thing to have I think in the upcoming war. I could start working on one if you want, but I'd need detailed descriptions :)

The demon thought that Xavier's explanation for what happened was ridiculous, but he wouldn't tell the young boy. He wasn't in the mood for conflict as they really had had enough of a fight already. Seeing Xavier getting ready for travel, he decided to do the same, strapped on his armor and loaded his second horse with all of the baggage.
Madawc tried to catch up with the warrior, and his overburdened horse gave him enough time to think about his wording. in the end, it was straightforward and simple: "I'm really eager to tell this woman what I'm really thinking about her!"

Me being strong relating to here so far is just an assumption." Damnit! Vaughtar started to realize that he was talking himself out of business with such sentences. But there were a few things in life that didn't come back: Life itself, a missed opportunity, an arrow shot and the spoken word!
"Erm... what do you think ? Would I be a valuable addition to such an endeavour ?" he asked to everyone in the room. The stone-grey color of his skin was doing a hell of a job to prevent him from blushing. And then the crate made things even worse. It had bore up against Vaughtar so far, but now the process of buckling abruptly and rapidly accelerated. In other words: The gargoyle was sitting flat on the floor and would likely have to continue attending the meeting while standing.
"Oh damn... Well... I'd be happy to spread my wings."

Of course, he wasn't able yet to identify her as a faerie, but the color of her hair and especially the strange color of her eyes were demanding for his attention. Then, suddenly, he broke the line of sight just to restore it moments later with her eyes only. Perhaps this examination had been a bit unfriendly.
"It is permanent, yes and unfortunately." Harald responded, again showing signs of the mood he always descended into when explaining his own appearance. "I can shift my face, but it looks rather strange. I prefer to stay in the shape I am in." Kiara's words sounded as if she admired those 'scientists', and her mentioning the words 'fascinating things' in that context did boost his disapproval so much that he wasn't willing to talk about it. Hopefully this sentence would be quickly forgotten!
"So..erm.. yes, I'm Harald. Nice to meet you, Kiara!" He raised one of his paws off the ground and stretched it out to her. However, he didn't really expect her to pick it up. These claws attached to it looked pretty nasty, at least that was what he thought he would be thinking if he was in her position.

Yes it would all depend on where her pack was on her body when she fell. I had the same thoughts about the ass somehow lessening the impact of the fall. [...]
