When you have to disable a new 'advanced' search to get proper search results and learn that 'advanced' means 'AI'. Let's rename it artificial superficiality, short 'AS'. Not to be confused with...

I'm slightly proud of myself having overcome my hate for indoor spiders a bit over the years. In my youth I often eliminated them, now I carry them outside in a jar. Spiders here are harmless though.

Believe me, if they could, the entirity of Southern Germany would send you all the rain they had over the last couple of days. I'm just not sure you'd actually want the widespread destruction.

Finally managed to catch the mouse. Our cat must consider me the most incompetent person of all times given how she watched instead of helping. She dragged the problem in though!

Bio

Welcome to my profile page!

Who the hell is this person behind those many miles of fiber optics and copper cable ?

  • I'm a 34 year old guy.
  • ... who's working as a software developer
  • ... and enjoys roleplaying as a casual hobby to distract himself from ongoing stress

And into which hell will I descend with you participating in one of my roleplays?

  • I'm a fantasy addict: medieval high and low!
  • I'd consider myself to be a low casual roleplayer, 3 paragraphs per post on average.
  • My schedule varies. It might happen that I won't be able to post at all for a week, but then again it might happen that I'll reach a sweet spot inside which I can go on a posting rampage. I'd say one can expect 1-2 posts a week from me, depending on the lengths involved.
  • English is not my native language, but so far I've not encountered anyone who had had trouble with me over that :)

Want to RP with me ? Shoot me a PM, but don't shoot me!

Thanks for visiting!

An-Hasst didn't present it to the public around him, but he had noticed the arrogance and ignorance Vanya hat put in their words, especially when she had adressed him. Shouldn't this slut of a wannabe-queen be a bit more respectful with those people that her sister had basically hired herself to save their city ? The discrepancy between what one should expect and what was happening was so obvious than one could derive several suspicions from this... None of them being a benign one.

A bit more harshly than he would have done normally the half-giant grabbed one of the elven silk packs from beneath his seat, opened it and emptied its contents onto the area of the disk in front of him. He didn't doubt the numbers Vanya told them, but he doubted that they would apply to him as well. Since she could not have known who would sit where and thereby prepare different bags, they had to be averages. This fragile looking man over there would certainly need less, while he would need more. Hopefully this would not lead to a distribution battle if things got dire. An-Hasst inspected the other things and found all of them to be of high quality indeed.

"You can teleport the others if you want, but I want one of your steeds to take me to your half-sister." he said with a decisive tone. Hopefully half-sister meant half of the bad attitude as well... The Skayleigh said this after Yaroslav had made his introduction, but without knowing that it was this particular mage that was responsible for his personal anxiety about teleportation. Several of his family members had been with the military, fighting against Andred, and one day they had told him a very ugly story some of their comrades had witnessed. Good luck for the current situation that they had not been able to provide an accurate description of the spellcaster that would still be applicable today.

That didn't spare Yaroslav from An-Hasst approaching him however. He had to bend down his head for not hitting the wooden crossbeams while the floor was creaking with almost every step he made. It was a deliberately slow walk that ended with him crouching down next to elderly appearing man. An-Hasst stretched out his huge hand towards him, ready to be returned the favor for a friendly greeting. His voice however was not so warm-hearted: "Don't worry. It's not a carnivorous plant that will snap close and crush the end of your arm once you touch its center. I've always spared this kind of action for mage apprentices on the battlefield." With a really low and dark voice he added: "Where my family has been decimated..."

He would certainly need a large drink after this. Unfortunately though he didn't know if the beverages in the Southlands could keep up with what he was used to.
WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!

Gonna post tomorrow (my time... that is.. in 12 hours or so). Got lost a bit in my now suddenly abundant free time.
@Aspen Wren Okay, I'll wait then :)
Btw.: Having accidentally read the OOC introductionary post again... The school has an equine center ? Would it be possible for Asmund to take the riding skill level test at some point in the RP ? Would be a nice addition to his hobbies perhaps.
Or would it be more like 'What are you doing here ? Do you want to volunteer for letting our horses ride you ? Either that or you should get out and and search for an elephant. Or a brontosaurus, if you really have to!' ? D:
@Eviledd1984

Madawc shrugged his shoulders. "How should I know ? I didn't lead us to this town. We need food stuff and a proper saddle, or do you intend to ride bareback ?" He now mounted his own horse again, the stableman looking rather shocked seeing his horse having to carry him. >>You should walk, you fat man!<< he yelled at him, presenting a bad gesture and advancing towards the demon-man by a few short steps.

Madawc wasn't pleased. Enough was enough. This guy wanted to see that he was still physically able to do a lot of things ? Fine... He jumped off and grabbed the stableman single-handedly, forcing him to the ground and pressing his elbow onto his chest. "I don't respond well to insults!"
@Aspen Wren Do you want to post first ?
@Eviledd1984

"You know that I should expect a favor in return for this..." Madawc said lowly before giving his coins and threw them gently at the stableman. "Now we need proper gear and supplies for you..."

Madawc got back to his own beast, earning the stableman's grim view once again as it became clear that the demon wanted to get back up on his own mount.
@Eviledd1984

Madawc had noted the grim glance the stablemaster had thrown at him. He was observing the half-demon.

"I think he's afraid of me sitting on any of his horses..." Madawc suddenly grabbed Bette and lifted her single-handedly on his outstretched arm before dropping her to the floor again. "You are lithe, pick any. But maybe I might have to add my armor to it if mine can't carry me anymore with it."
@Eviledd1984

They arrived at their selected destination a few hours later. Madawc had not said much, but he had been increasingly busy with holding himself together and not break out in loud laughter. Seeing Xavier and Bette squeeze onto each other was somewhat hilarious to see for him. He wouldn't have tolerated this if it had been him, that was for sure.

The fact that Xavier was suddenly able to speak wasn't a surprise for the demon. It would probably have been if it had happened as a single event, but compared to the ex-mute having been declared as one of the most important persons currently alive and being partly a demon himself, it was rather neglegible. After all, one could not speak of 'suddenly' anymore: He had been able to speak since he was born. It had been just dormant - or a lie altogether for an unknown reason. Madawc couldn't tell.

Now he was waiting what kind of dirt-cheap horse the two were going to buy.
Vaughtar

The gargoyle had been busy grabbing several hands full of snow and rubbing them against his chest. Judging by their color after he had finished and dropped them to the ground, the snabbits had left quite their bloody traces on his skin. Could Vaughtar get a cold ? If so, he'd soon find out as he still was almost fully naked. His horns were the only place were snow could drop and settle down without melting.

"Don't worry. I'm harmless." he directed his words towards Shanon as he noticed her looking at him and the others as if trying to assess who was dangerous and who not. If it had not been for the marine approaching him, Vaughtar would have come close and engaged in more talking.

For someone having been thrown out of Munimis just a few days ago and having been a loner over there, it was perhaps understandable that the gargoyle didn't recognize the high five gesture until a rather embarrassing amount of time had passed. When it finally sunk in his head, he noted Hirsch bleeding. Spontaneously, Vaughtar wrapped his giant hand around the blood-soaked bandage and squeezed the arm beneath it. It was incredibly makeshift and most likely not very pleasant, but... "Can't let you walk around with this unsealed wound. Perhaps we should get you back to base camp for proper treatment ? Who knows if these creatures are poisonous and it just takes a while to kick in."
