Josh listened to her speak, surprised that she considered him and Trish family so soon. Yet she brought him a sense peace that he didn't think he ever would have had. He leaned into her hand when she pulled back and held his cheek in her hand, closing his eyes and savouring the touch before looking at her and nodding, "thank you Serena" he told her warmly.

Kay grabbed his hands and held them firmly but not painfully to help stop him from removing the towel off his eyes. "you can do this John, it'll be over soon enough" she told him, hoping she was right in that assumption.
Mika watched unflinching as Dean began to go all out on Travers to get the answers they needed. She really was the nice one out of the two of them it seemed in this instance, and she had to admit there was something equally terrifying and incredibly hot seeing Dean be this forceful.

It seemed that Dean was thinking the same thing as he told Travers she was the nice one in this situation. She hadn't even shown Travers what she herself was capable of, but just the fact herself and Dean knew what she was capable of was enough for her. She continued to give him a stony look even when he realised they were hunters and he was utterly screwed.

Travers winced as Dean pushed the barrel of his gun into his knee after he had put pressure on his arms. He really tried to not say anything but he couldn't take it anymore, especially when Dean was proving he was more than ready to shoot him in his kneecap. "Fine! Fine...I'll talk! Just...just get your bloody bulldog to back off" He caved, looking at Mika as he said the last bit.

"I don't make him do anything, he'll back off when you talk" Mika countered smirking. "Fine.... the bear isn't a bear....it's-she's...my wife" he sighed. "the bear is my wife so please don't kill her" he begged. Mika couldn't help but find it interesting and find it made sense as to why he was so adamant to keeping the bear's identity a secret. "So you know that she's a skinwalker?" she questioned.

He nodded, "yes...yes I do. She was never normally like this, but something is wrong and she's killing people" Travers explained, looking between Dean and Mika. "Wouldn't you do all you could if you loved someone?" he pleaded, trying to hit their empathy as best he could.
Josh listened to her open up to him, as he had with her. He felt so bad for her to have witnessed her boyfriend's death, barely being able to imagine what that must have felt like to actually see a loved one die in your arms. At least with his folks, he and Trish weren't there to witness the accident, sparing them both of quite a bit of torment. Sure, it was no easy ride for them as it was, but he knew if he was in Serena's position, it would have been so much worse. He looked at her when she made him to, looking her in the eyes as she said some of the sweetest things he had ever heard. "Thank you" he said to her, hugging her.

Kay nodded, trusting John in that he knew what he was doing. She walked over and sat next to him. "You got it. I'm right here to make sure you see it through" she told him. "SO how long will it take?" she asked him.
NATALIA AND SAM WINCHESTER

When Dean and Mika appeared in the kitchen and Dean felt the need to protest why he was the one always picked on, nat coiuldn't stop the chuckle and smirk from escaping her. Being reminded of all the pranks she had done to him made her snigger again, still proud of each and every one of them. Yet it wasn't just because she was bored or restless, she was almost testing him each of those times, to see how far she could push him to see where she would fit in with the brothers. It was her way of trying to be the person she was before the mental institute as well.

"Well.....you did try to convince Sam to not bring me along, you did every single damn test under the book to make sure I wasn't some shifter, demon, ghoul or whatever else after I had been tortured in the hospital, you've used me as bait plenty of times on hunts...." she started cheekily listing off things, whilst also letting a little snippet of what happened to her out to everyone for the first time. "And besides, I'm the younger sister of two brothers when I always thought I was an only child so yeah, i'm gonna abuse that title and be the annoying little shit every once in a while" she grinned.

Sam found himself having to bite his bottom lip to stop himself from laughing at his brother and sister both bantering back and forth. They really had come a long way compared to when she joined them. He still remembered the utter mistrust Dean had for her and vise versa. Which always surprised him considering the two of them liked the same music and was very similar personality wise at times. He remembered the times when he would leave the room with Mika because neither wanted to be in the middle of whatever was going on between Natalia and Dean, clashing of ideas or a snarky remark setting one or the other off into a rage fit.

Now he felt like if he hadn't ever witnessed those days himself, he never would have believed they had a rocky start. Especially as Dean walked over and kissed Nat's cheek, thanking her for starting the breakfast.

Nat smiled and pretended to be grossed out by Dean showing affection to her in front of everyone, lightly pretending to swat him away from her. "Gross, you're being sappy again." she teased fondly, "but you're welcome" she added. "Meeko, can you go take Bobby his coffee?" she asked, to which Mika nodded and made Bobby his coffee then taking to his room, where she knocked on the door before she thought to walk in.

Seeing his brother then turn to Annabeth, insinuate Annabeth was only better because she had sex with him made Sam roll his eyes. He caught his brother's glance and was about to say something back, but Anna beat him to it making him laugh as he got impressed that Anna could shoot Dean down in such a perfect manner. "She ain't wrong Dean" he pointed out, making his own coffee and taking a sip as the girls did breakfast for everyone. "So, you and Meeko...you both definitely good again?" he asked him a bit more seriously and out of concern for the two of them.

"because we can't have mom and dad fighting again" he then smirked and sniggered.
Josh let Serena hold his hand tighter to try and stop his shaking. Truth was, he had been so focused on protecting Trish and making sure her grief didn't completely consume her that he never really ever let himself grieve properly. He had never spoken about their parents deaths to anyone before now. A silent tear escaped his eye as he listened to her talk and he felt her shadows wrap around them both. With his free hand, it used the back of it to wipe the tear away, not wanting to seem weak or pathetic. Yet there was something about Serena that made it easy to open up. "sorry... I don't make a habit of crying to just anyone" he smirked in a somber manner. "I've never let myself properly grieve for them. Trish's well-being has been far more important to me than my own" he explained, not realising that Trish was outside the room and listening in.

Chas nodded at the instructions and quickly headed to where John was pointing. He pulled open the bottom drawer and grabbed the bottle of Holy water and the rag, opening the bottle and soaking the rag with the water, bringing it over to him. "hurting as it gets removed is better than what you're going through now" he told him handing him the rag. Just as he was handing him the rag, Kay was coming back in with the bowls and spoons for the ice cream and saw what was happening.

"I knew there was more to your discomfort than you were letting on" she said, putting everything down on the table.
Travers looked at Dean wondering who the hell he and Mika were, they seemed so young but were utterly terrifying. He looked at Dean as he kept asking what he knew and he felt so compelled to remain ignorant to the knowledge that he held inside his mind but he also could see that the two of them were stubborn enough to not let him go until he talked.

He watched as Dean removed the barrel of his gun from his face, glad to have one less thing so close to him. Hearing Dean say he knew what he did, and asked about the bear once again, he could be seen gulping as he realised his earlier slip up really did put him in the danger zone.

Mika glanced back at Dean as he gave her the look she knew all too well. She gave him the look of 'don't let up, he'll talk'. She then continued to let Dean interrogate the guy seeing him start to waver under the pressure that Dean was shoving onto him.

Travers shook his head vigorously, really not wanting to tell the truth of what he knows. "I won't say anything to you maniacs" he said, as it was now dawning on him that these two were hunters which mesnt the information he had was even more crucial to keep secret. He couldn't let them get their hands on the bear, he had to protect them at all costs, even if it meant his life was paid for it.

"you're playing a stupid game here, just tell him what you know and you can go, it's really that simple" Mika spoke up from behind Dean.

"no, because you're hunters... Aren't you?" Travers replied shakily.
Dean's quip made her roll her eyes at him. It wasn't that she didn't trust he was about to get killed, but she also didn't want to take anything for granted. She knew how easy it was for them to get complacent and then get overrun or overpowered in a blink of an eye. They didn't know anything about this Travers guy yet and she was far too suspicious of a person to think they'd continue having the upper hand.

She watched him walk up to Travers as she stayed back to give him backup if it was required but she hoped it wouldn't be required. She trusted Dean and his abilities to get what they needed out of him. Staying back also meant she could keep an eye out for anyone or anything possibly finding them if Travers had any comrades.

Mr Travers stirred awake when Dean slapped him across the face to wake him. He groaned and blinked his eyes a couple of times before focusing them onto Dean, and then Mika behind him. Looking down at his hands and body, he saw he was tied and started to panic slightly and tried to get free but it was no good.

"who are you two?! You're not FBI, why am I here?!" he asked almost frantically. Mika remained quiet, letting Dean keep the lead on this one, instead she poked her head just out of the curtains a bit to make sure they really weren't followed. Satisfied, she closed the curtain again.

"please, just let me go!" Travers begged. "I've told you, I don't know anything!" he said again.
By the time Mika got back into the room, she saw Dean getting Travers into the chair which showed her what a good team they truly were. Despite the flinch, she noticed how easily he grabbed the rope and watched him tie the man to the chair, feeling impressed at his rope tying skills. She would have given him some cuffs but she didn't think hers would survive if Travers shifted nearly as well, so the rope was her choice.

She kept a watchful eye on the guy in the chair, folding her arms across her chest as she thought about their next move. She glanced at Dean as he cracked his back once again, internally flinching at the sound whilst reminding herself mentally that it was a simple unlocking of stiff joints and nothing life threatening.

The idea of letting Travers waking up on his own did cross her mind but shhe wasn't sure how long they would waiting for and they really couldn't afford to waste time waiting around for the guy to stir naturally. They needed answers and fast, as in her eyes the sooner they got answers, the sooner they could change and get prepared.

At his second suggestion of playing bad cop, she smirked looking back up at him. "I'd say go for it. We need answers quickly and we don't know how long he'll stay asleep if we just leave him" she replied to him, knowing he was itching to take the lead to some extent.

"just be careful incase he is the skinwalker, we're not fully kitted up appropriately yet" she added to him, unfolding her arms and placing a hand on his arm, leaning in and taking this moment to give him a small kiss on his lips whilst she could.
Kay smiled softly and nodded, "I know" she replied before chuckling at her next question, "I haven't known Serena for long but she's a good person Trish. I owe her a lot in the short time we've known each other, she's definitely good enough" she said honestly, "come on, let's bring this lot back to John and Chas" she said to her, "actually, why don't you go see your brother and Serena and tell them about the ice cream?" she suggested.

Chas sighed, "of course you did..." he replied to him, "is there anything we can do to help with your eyes?" he asked him.

Josh sighed and looked down at their hands before deciding to tell her. He sat on the edge of her bed and stared at their hands the whole time. "it happened one night, about two days before I was going to go college. I was babysitting Trish so our folks could have their date night on the anniversary of their wedding. They were on their way home when another car came out of nowhere and crashed right into them. Their car skidded off road and went into a tree, killing them both on impact." he explained, his tone showing how retelling the story was choking him up, his hand shaking slightly under hers.
Kay smiled as Trish accepted the subject change and told her what flavours she and Chas got everyone. "well that's very lovely you both to get us some too. I love strawberry and mint" she said to her. The next thing she wasn't expecting to hear from Trish, "uhh, I think so? It's not really been properly discussed if we are or not" she said, "but I hope we are, I really like him kiddo" she told her.

Chas didn't fully know what to do, but he was worried. He lead John to the couch, sitting him down carefully. "I really hope this is just stress related John, was it this bad when Kay was beside you? Want me to get her in here?" he asked, not sure what to suggest.

Josh smiled and nodded, "you're welcome, and not much. Chas took Trish out for ice cream so no doubt she's come back with some for everyone as per usual. Or at least... When there were more people to get it for." he replied, looking down sadly as it brought a moment back of how much he missed his folks. "heard them come back only a little while ago and I think Kay and John are still downstairs" he explained.
