For Mika, taking the painkillers was more of a preventative as although she had a headache and throbbing cheek, she knew it would get only worse if she didn't take something now rather than wait until later when it would get worse. Yet it seemed by Dean frowning and then suggestion, he was thinking otherwise with her.

She knew that casual suggestion was more of a plea and she heard the hidden message of 'please just do as I ask for my own sanity so I know you'll be alright' from him. She recognised it all too well and knew if she tried to tell him that she really didn't need to do that, he wouldn't stop suggesting it until she caved in and agreed to get some rest. She hated resting when they hadn't finished the hunt yet, but she knew she hated Dean's stubbornness more.

"okay, but only because I know you won't take no as an answer from me" she smiled at him, showing she wasn't going to be stubborn about this for once and actually do as she was told. She finished her burger as she only had a couple of small bites left and then got up from her seat. She walked over to Dean and kissed him briefly to show she really was willing to do anything that would put his mind at ease, then walked to the non cluttered bed pulling off her hoodie and kicking off her boots as she went over to it.

Reaching the bed she laid down on top of it, wriggling out of her jeans before closing her eyes and laying on her side, facing Dean so he would be able to actually see when she was asleep and okay. The moment her eyes closed, she realised just how much she did need the kip as tiredness suddenly took over her what felt like instantly, when she was feeling wide awake only moments ago.

Within a couple of minutes she had properly dozed off, her breathing steadying out, one arm tucked under the pillow and the other lightly draped across the bed. She just hoped nothing would happen that was skinwalker related whilst she was asleep and Dean would be okay doing the watch on his own. Not that she didn't trust his capabilities, but just like how he worried about her safety, she always worried about his safety, especially after he told her he almost died on a werewolf hunt without her.
Deep down Mika knew that Dean wouldn't be satisfied with her acting like it was nothing what she endured, but as much a sit hurt and yes, her face really did hurt like a son of a bitch, a constant throbbing in her cheek was being felt by her along with the growing headache from when she headbutted Nick also growing. Yet she didn't want Dean worrying even more than she knew he already was. To her, she had been in worse situations than this and she hoped if she could brush it off and just deal eith it, eventually, so could Dean.

She gave him a fond smile when he told her no one was going to hurt her again whilst on this hunt, knowing he really would stay in front of her to keep her safe no matter what. His scoff at her words just confirmed to her that he really wasn't buying her downplaying her pain, but glad that she could tell he was happy she really did feel safe with him.

Even she knew that he was even more fiercely protective of her than Bobby was which to her said a thousand words because Bobby could be highly overprotective over her at times. She may not have known fully that Dean always worried if she was safe enough eith Bobby, but it wouldn't be a surprise to her if she did know.

At his smirk and next words, she smirked back and gave a single firm nod. "I'd say its a win no matter the outcome. We get out alive and mobile then its a win in my eyes" she replied in agreement. She may have ended up with a black eye but at least she didn't end up eith a busted leg that took her out of the job for a good two weeks.

She got up off her chair and went to her bag where she pulled out a bottle of painkillers and a bottle of water before going back to her seat at the table, cracking open the bottles one at a time and deciding that now she had some more food in her system, she'd take something to dull the pain.
Kay nodded at Serena's words, she didn't doubt that the others would be safe but could understand why Josh would request that they keep in touch so he knew Trish was safe. She thought it risky that Trish would come along in the morning, but if she wanted to go then who was she to say no?

Chas gave John a small nod, understanding why John would only call him if it was undoubtedly necessary. It was moments like this that he knew there was more to John than just the hard exterior he liked to give off toward a lot of people.

"I guess we should look at calling it a night for the majority of us, as I'm guessing everyone will wanna head to Seattle early tomorrow?" Kay suggested as she finished her ice cream snack.

"good call, I'll crash here then leave earlier in the morning, Josh if you want I'll give you a lift to work in the morning on my way to my ex wife's" Chas offered, which Josh accepted graciously with a nod. "that'd be great, thanks Chas" Josh replied.
Mika knew deep down that she probably shouldn't have said anything to him about how Nick treated her, but she figured it would come out eventually and it wasn't like he bit her. Sure, it was utterly disgusting and how he said he had never tasted a human quite like her before which utterly unnerved her to say the least, but it was just a lick. "Yup but hey, could have been worse" she replied to him as she watched him pull his food toward himself.

As he asked her if she really was okay, she smiled and nodded. "I'm fine, black eye and a headache but nothing major. But don't worry about not getting to me any sooner. I figured you'd probably have to find a car to hijack or something similar to get there. The fact you even got to me is all I care about" she reassured him, trying to make him feel less guilty about taking the time he did in getting to her.

She knew deep down that she wouldn't have gotten there any quicker if the roles were reversed and she had to steal a car to get to the destination in time. She may not have seen on his face how gutted he truly felt, but she could easily get an idea just because of how close they were. She opened her box and picked up her now cold burger, taking a bite into it.

"I'm just glad that I'm back with you to be honest, and that you managed to shoot that bastard at least once. Shifting aside, he creeped me the hell out" she told him.
Kay sighed as Serena wasn't seeming to want to back down, which made Kay realise that they really didn't want to leave her alone completely because they were genuinely worried about her being alone. She understood it, after all she did still managed to be taken in front of them, she could only imagine how much harder it would be for them to leave her alone and not be nearby when she did something she had been putting off for a very long time. "Fine...but only because I know you won't be happy until I agree" she replied, giving the woman a small smirk to show she wasn't offended or annoyed at her negotiation.

Josh looked between Trish and Serena and really wondered about what they were both saying. He very rarely let her be with anyone else or alone, but something told him he could trust them to keep Trish safe. It was either that or check if Chas would take Trish with him to be with his daughter. "Okay, but I want you to keep checking in with me so I know you're safe okay?" he said to Trish.

Chas nodded, and hoped it wouldn't come to the worst case scenario either, but he knew John would rather know he was prepared to get to him if he needed him, and even if Renee would kick off about it as well. "I shouldn't think it will but still, the backup is there if you need it from me" he told his best mate.
Mika didn't even need to look at Dean to know the reaction he gave her at the declaration that she had a tranq gun in the trunk. Sure it was a weapon that she very rarely needed, but she did on one case where she was alone and she had been incredibly thankful for it. She stole it from a veterinary practice that was nearby deciding that to infiltrate an abandoned public indoor pool she needed, she needed to knock out the guards. Turns out tranquillisers work incredibly well on kelpies. She had a feeling that would be a story she would have to tell some other time, but at the en dof the hunt she decided instead of giving the tranq gun back, she would just keep it.

At the mention of needing a drink, she smirked and nodded in agreement, most definitely feeling ready for such a thing and to finish her food that was in the backseat. Even if it would be now well and truly cold, she would gladly still eat it. "fair point. Let's get inside then" she replied, as he reached over and playfully pinched her chin making her smile.

His next comment on deciding how much he'll hurt these skin walkers being dependant on how bad the bruising on her face comes to be wasn't entirely surprising. She opened her car door after he opened his, got out of her car and grabbed the food from the back seat after closing her door and opening the back seat door. With their food aquire dibto her hands, she closed the door and locked the car before looking at Dean briefly. "y'know the bastard actually bloody licked me?" she remarked.

Being back at the motel really made her glad he came after her as she really was starting to conjure up a plan on risking her back breaking just to get out of the restraints by throwing herself into the ground to break the chair. A choice she really didn't want to, so Dean getting to her when he did was of more of a relief to her than he actually realised. "let's get inside, I'm dying to finish this food" she smirked with a light chuckle, heading to their room door and getting inside.

Once inside the room, she put the food on the table and instantly sat herself down on the chair, opening her food. She wasn't going to decide on what to do with Dean on an empty stomach.
Kay sighed when Serena decided that they all should go together, which made her begin to wonder if she should have said anything. She knew originally she was only going to have John know, so why did she go against her own words? She couldn't figure it out. "fine, but when I go to my sister I have to go alone, I mean it Serena. I need to see her safe on my own first, and not bombard her with a big group of people when she's been wondering this whole time if I'm even still alive. It's not fair on her" she explained.

She then turned to Trish, "you'll like it. They have a seafront, aquarium, all kinds of places" she told her, knowing her old family home was right near the seafront. "I won't be going, I have to go to Geraldine tomorrow, but I trust you lot over there won't need me. But if you do, don't hesitate to call." Chas commented.

"I'm gonna have to call into work and pull a sick day" Josh added, not something he liked doing but he could see Trish wanted to go to Seattle so one time couldn't hurt.
Luckily for her, Nick didn't bite her even though he was so desperate to do so. She really didn't want to have to deal with trying to find some kind hidden cure to becoming a skinwalker or similar. At his smirk and compliment she smiled as she drove, finding that as per usual, hearing him call her 'his girl' always made her get the familiar flutters in her stomach, just like when they were kids.

After her near death by a wendigo and Dean's near death by a werewolf, she really didn't want either of them to die at the paws of a supernatural bear. She didn't want to lose Dean more so, so coming to some kind of agreement of what to do really was their only plan in her eyes. She listened to him admit he didn't know what to do but did agree that they had to make sure Nick was dead. If nothing else, it was a principle for her that she wanted to know he was dead for sure.

She let him continue to reply to her other question about Travers, trusting his gut instinct when it came to the man as he had spent a little bit longer with him than she had. All she knew about him was that he turned into a damn giant bear and he lied about being married, or even in a relationship, along with what Nick said about him.

As his hand reached over to her thigh, she let him as she drove and got nearer to the motel. "I think at this moment it's our only real option. From what the officer Nick was saying about Travers, I think you could be right. I think he could have been just trying to cover up what that asshole was doing but just made things worse" she replied as the motel came into view, making her pull in when the turning came up.

"Think I got a tranq gun in the trunk somewhere if we have to use it" she remarked, in a tone that said 'dont ask why'. In the parking lot, Mika then pulled into the parking spot outside their room now it was actually vacant and not occupied by another car, turning the engine off and sighing. "Crash for a short while to gather what we need before finishing this off?" she suggested in question to him, looking across at him properly now she had stopped driving.
MIKA CHAMBERS

Dean's brief look at Cason and not being pleased he was back in the house didn't go amiss on Mika, but neither did the softening gaze toward Esme. The only difference this time was that Mika didn't react badly to the gaze, sure it did still give her a pang of sadness seeing him look at another woman in such a way but she did also feel slightly better over it after her heart to heart with Dean the night before.

Reading the book she got, she became hyper aware of Dean leaning over her shoulder, something she was all to used to experiencing from him. Out of pure habit, she placed her hand on his as he leaned over her before he asked Bobby what the whole breaking of seals meant,, or even what they were. She read the book he brought out and practically dropped onto her hands, as Bobby gave his own reply which caused Dean to almost snap in offence that an Angel got called his friend.

She frowned a bit when Bobby snapped back at Dean and grumbled as he walked off with his book again. She hated it when the two of them snapped at each other, even though she knew they both cared about each other greatly, it still panged at her when she saw them bicker. There was also times when she did think that Dean could have spoken to Bobby better than he did at times, but she wasn't going to get into that whole fiasco with him.

She let him do his prayer to this Castiel, the Angel that knocked her out and caused her to hit her head on the worktop in the garage. not expecting it tp honestly work considering what it took to summon him the last time, so when it did work and Castiel stood right in front of Dean uncomfortably close, she rose an eyebrow. Before they could even open their mouths, Castiel went on this tirade of information about the breaking of seals and what it meant. She looked around the room to see all the other reactions to the news and it seemed they all echoed the same reactions.

Hearing that there was no aid for them to find where the seals were so they knew how to stop them made Mika sigh in frustration, rubbing her forehead as she did so. "typical" she muttered under her breath, feeling that she could do so as it seemed Castiel was far more focused on only Dean than anyone else in the room. Yet then he suddenly laid eyes on Cason and Annabeth, she perked up and thought 'of shit, here we go'. She almost forgot that they had a demon and an angel in the same room for a moment, then Castiel's reaction to Cason and Annabeth reminded her sharply of that very fact.

When he geared up to smite the two of them, she saw Nat and Sam instantly get into front of Annabeth, protecting her with their own bodies as neither were prepared for anything to happen to the girl and she fully agreed with the decision. Cason could look after himself, and after what happened bewtween them she wasn't so sure that it would particularly be a bad thing if he got smited, even if he was using Esme as protection.

NATALIA AND SAM WINCHESTER

Natalia and Sam had listened to the whole conversation going back and forth and even before then Sam smiled as Annabeth took her breakfast from him gladly and thanked him. It felt like such a normal morning, talking hunting problems whilst eating and drinking copious amounts of coffee. He almost had to wonder when it would all go to crap as it seemed that after last night, it was almost too good for them all.

Low and behold his curiosities were proven right as they heard about seals being broken for a door they really didn't want to know what was behind it, but with Dean's prayer and the arrival of Castiel Sam couldn't help but look slightly wide eyed as Castiel was nothing like he was envisioning in his head. For some reason, the idea of using human vessels like demons did wasn't something that came to his mind. He also found it incredibly curious why Castiel had no sense of personal space, but he also found it ironic as as much as Dean liked eprsonal space, he very rarely kept to it when he was around Mika.

As the conversation was had between his brother and the Angel, he watched on and looked around the room trying to judge if anyone else was thinking along the same lines as himself at the news that Lucifer was behind said main door the seals were keeping in and the idea of Lucifer himself roaming Earth was not something he was liking in the slightest. He couldn't help but wonder when their lives turned from basic hunts of fighting monsters to now having to fight demons and angels to keep seals closed and Lucifer in Hell.

Both he and Natalia tried to remain pretty silent throughout the whole conversation, even when Castiel mentioned jOsiah which piqued nat's interest greatly, as it was Josiah that was on the phone to her only moments ago, but when Castiel layed eyes on Annabeth and Cason, that's when things were going too far and off topic in their minds. Both of them shielded Annabeth as Cason cowered behind Esme, neither prepared to let Annabeth get hurt again. "You're not doing a thing to them, especially Anna" Natalia said firmly but calmly.

"Annabeth is of no threat to you" Sam stated, not caring that the Angel knows of how she's different, she was just Annabeth to him. An innocent woman who got dealt a rough life and destiny that she didn't want.
Kay smiled at how Trish was being around them all. She sat upright and slightly away from John so he could sit up properly to eat his ice cream whilst effortlessly catching the spoon in the air that Serena threw her way. "Whether we leave it alone or act on it, I need to make a visit to Seattle anyway tomorrow morning." She declared to the room, even though she had already discussed her decision with John earlier on. She figured it was only fair Serena and Chas knew also.

Josh handed Kay her ice cream after putting it in the bowl as he also grabbed his own, seeing that Trish remembered to get his ultimate favourite. "What's in Seattle, other than this vessel of Apollo?" he asked curiously. Kay fell silent for a brief moment before deciding to say anything, "...my sister" she replied.
