With the confirmation she did it right, Kay sighed with relief and wiped her forehead in sign of her relief. "Just take it easy John" she told him, "she's right, go slow mate" Chas agreed, when Kay's attention went to Serena wanting to double check on Drake. "He's looking less peaky, normal colour finally but he's still out. I'm just glad he's breathing" Fia replied to the question given to her. "I reckon once he's been well rested he'll be back to his old self. Best to let him just rest for however long it'll take" she added.

"Has he had to do this sort of recovery before?" Josh asked the teenager, to which Fia shook her head, "not like this no. At most he's rested for a couple of hours but that's it. I don't know how much longer it could be with this. Last time it was just over a knife wound, well, gash really. Wasn't deep but stitching him up made him pass out" she explained. If anything, it was her that got into more trouble than Drake did, and that one time he got slashed by a knife was to save her from the clash with the blade as it was made out of iron. She just didn't tell that part for fear of frightening her parents before they even had her.
Kay looked where Serena was gesturing, she nodded but she was nervous about doing this, scared she'd do John more damage than help but she was determined to help. Chas looked up and walked over, "sure, you'll need it. He'll either deal with it or fidget like mad" he replied, squatting down and holding John in place. Kay nodded again when she got told Serena will hold his head, "okay..." She said nervously, waiting for Serena to give her the go ahead before she placed her hands where she needed to, then with a deep breath taken and mentally making her hands steady themselves, she felt exactly where it needed to go and with a little pressure she clicked it back into place. "It..it's done, I think" she told Serena.
Kay had hoped that there wasn't anything wrong with John but Serena's comments made her realise that that wasn't to be. She nodded and with Serena's help, she carefully laid John flat on the floor. "where on his neck is the problem?" She asked her, not wanting to do John anymore injury either but wanting to be able to focus on the correct spot that needed healing.
Fia nodded at Serena's diagnosis, glad that Drake would be fine. She stayed with him when Serena went across the room to John, glad that her father was finally being seen to. She looked back toward Drake again, sighing. "Don't ever scare me like this again" she spoke softly, even though he wasn't conscious, she just had to get it off her chest.

Kay moved out of the way just enough for Serena to check John over, glad that someone in their group was qualified to know what to do in injuries such as this. "stay still John" she said, letting Serena examine him, still worried about him as he did go across the room rather dramatically and hit the railing incredibly hard.

Josh looked down at Trish and gave her a reassuring small smile, "I'm fine Trish, the important thing is that the others are" he replied.
Fia stayed beside Chas, even though every part of her wanted to shrug out of his grip and go over to Drake anyway. She let Serena go over first and check that Drake was indeed okay, sighing with relief when Serena have the okay and instantly shrugging out of Chas' grip and going over to help Serena get Drake to the couch again and stayed beside him. Josh nodded at Trish's words, "yeah...yeah it is" he replied, giving her shoulder a comforting squeeze.

Hearing John groan made Kay relieved. She checked his head wound and saw the little bit of blood but was thankful it wasn't as bad as it could have been. "You scared the utter crap out of me" she told him, as she looked around for something to put on his wound. "Chas, grab me some gauze or a towel or anything, he has a head wound" she then said over her shoulder, "got it" Chas replied, grabbing some gauze from the first aid kit he had out already and brought it over. Kay took it from his hands and placed it firmly against John's head. She then brought up one of John's hands and made him hold the gauze. "Keep the pressure on it so it'll stop the bleeding" she told him.
Everyone in the room watched on as John did the spell to try and save Drake. Fia saw how Drake was getting whiter and whiter in complexion and now his eyes were turning red, showing sure signs he was becoming the one thing she had been shielded from for most of her life, or at least, her parents had attempted to shield her from for most of her life. She kept praying to whatever diety in the universe would listen to her, that Drake would survive this and come back to her. She couldn't lose the only being that was the closest thing to a brother she would ever have.

When John threw his arm back, she clung onto Chas and Kay more. "It's gonna be okay Fia" Kay whispered, but then she wished she could have taken her words back as as quickly as she whispered those words, she saw John fly backwards and land on the ground hard. "John!" She exclaimed, letting go of Fia and rushing to his side to check on. Fia gasped and began to go over to Drake, but Chas pulled her back, "not yet Fia. We don't know if it worked" he warned her, not wanting to risk a phoenix hybrid to possibly be arms reach of a possible new demon. "Serena maybe you should check on Drake" Josh suggested, not knowing who else could, as it was becoming clear that everyone was looking on nervously.

Kay knelt down beside John to check him over, seeing he was unconscious, which worried her greatly. The others were all dealing with the shadows and Drake, in her eyes, she had to be the one to check on John. "Please John...wake up" she pleaded, wiping her face to stop the tears that were now threatening to fall from actually falling.
Josh was relieved in a way when Serena agreed to step back and let John take charge of this situation. He wrapped an arm round her shoulders to pull her into his side, whilst his other arm stayed round Trish. He hoped this would work and that what this Manny told them was indeed true and helpful, he didn't want to think about the other outcome of this and Fia having to either take Drake's body back to their time or worse.

Kay was also nervous as was Fia. They watched on as John started the process of helping Drake and saving his soul and life, Fia watching as she wanted to always learn and see the younger version of her father (in her eyes) at work, but also wanting to make sure Drake would always be alright. Yet there was another wide of Fia that wanted to cower and hide her face into Kay and Chas, even though she didn't, and remained watching eagle eyed the whole time.
Downstairs, Kay helped relieve Chas of some of the stuff he had in his arms, taking some and putting them on the table, she found the phoenix feather in the other small bowl and took it putting it into the larger one, and waited for John's instructions. With the instructions given, she put all the ingredients in, minus the angel essence as she signalled for Fia to get the water. Fia nodded, and with reluctance to leave Drake's side, but urgency to help him, she got up and rushed to the kitchen to get the water needed. She grabbed a glass and filled it, wanting John to have plenty of water, as she didn't know how much was needed.

Coming back with it, she handed it over to which Kay took and put it beside the bowl. She then handed the essence to John, "okay, it's all in except for the essence and water, I'll leave that to you to put in." She told him, placing the essence in his hand, wrapping his fingers round the vial. She then stood back, pulling Fia back with her for safety, she didn't want anyone else to get hurt today. Chas also stood back, deciding he would remain close to the girls, his paternal side kicking in when it came to Fia particularly.

Josh also stepped back, making sure that Trish stayed back and out of harm's way just incase. He didn't know how this spell was going to go and he wasn't prepared to risk Trish getting caught in the cross fire if there was to be one. "Serena, step back with us. John has this covered" he requested.
Fia held the one towel on his core in place so Serena could focus on his head. She could feel the heat coming off of Drake, which made her glad that heat really wasn't a bothering factor for her. "Be careful, he's getting really hot" she warned Serena, not wanting her to burn herself on Drake's skin. His muttering was also concerning her and knew if her parents and Godfather didn't hurry up they were going to have a serious problem on their hands.

Kay nodded at what John was saying when she heard Serena shouting at them to hurry up. She then heard Chas shout back his acknowledgement of John's request. "Let's get this down to them and check on what's going on" she suggested, heading downstairs.

Chas did exactly what he was requested of, he went to where the items were stored and grabbed them, his arms full, he carefully but quickly headed to the main room and put them down. "Okay, I've got the stuff" he said.
Josh nodded when he spoken to, quickly dashing off to fetch some towels, "towels should be in the storeroom next to the kitchen!" He heard Fia call out, making him skid to a stop and turn to where she directed him. He opened the door and grabbed a couple of clean towels, feeling thankful that things weren't different in Fia's time to now. He then dashed to the kitchen and opened the freezer, grabbing the ice and tipping some into one of the towels, before putting the rest back and bringing everything over to Serena. "Here" he said, handing it over.

Kay didn't like the idea of a demon in the house and causing chaos, whilst the house's magical alarms all went off. "Then we better hurry" she told him, "they sound panicked down there." She added.
