He watched the mice while continuing to ignore the new arrivals as each one entered. Not out of rudeness, but out of how intense his curiosity was with the animals. It was such that when the mice went into hiding, he shook his head suddenly as if he came out of a hypnotic trance. Then he heard her voice.

Turning to her as he blinked his eyes a few times he smiled, noticing a pretty young lady. "I'll admit the mice surprised me, but now I see that you have a friendship together." As he caught her name, he bowed with one hand to his chest, "My name is Sal. You have a nice name, Mable." He nodded in understanding when she said that she didn't really go places and that this could make a good story.

"Mable I'm the same way. Before this journey I just stayed at the Tavern running the place and cooking food for people. But now, I get the chance to learn a lot more about the world."

He was going to ask her a question but alas the king arrived then...

He did look impressive with his fancy robes and the way he strode through the room. It seemed to sal that the king had an aura around him. As the King did his intro. speech, sal listened attentively. Just as the last words left the King's mouth, sal spoke up.

"Do we know what the Orc's plans are?" He asked the King.

As someone whos GM'd many roplepays I always found that the number does not matter as much as the dedication of the individual players. I feel like this has mostly been adressed with the fact the CS is so comprehensive and detailed, you would only apply if you have a level of investment in the RP.

If anything, having more characters makes it easier to continue if someone has to take a break or drop out so that the story doesnt halt with their absence.

This quest seems pretty straightforward, kill the orcs.

One big Battle and its over.

So I'm guessing this quest will be fast and easy.

The whole "picture is worth a thousand words" thing is rather valid; it just doesn't have the same character to it. What I'll probably end up doing is finding a "relative approximate" and then mention below what is different.

I can't even write music in a non-musical form without pulling half my hair out, so I'll probably use the same system of "approximate" as well. I doubt I'll find true satisfaction with either whichever course I take, but I do thank you for the suggestions.

See now I think you are overcomplicating it.

It takes two words to mention what something is. Then a couple words to describe the color and length.
Maybe a full paragraph to describe one picture.

Music, you don't have to actually write the music, just write down what instrument you like and a famous performer who uses that instrument. Then with only that you have multiple songs that somebody can go and find and they can all represent your character.

Try it before you knock it. :)
