@malmshodes and we needed at least 5 which we have now including myself 6. I'll have a storyline worked out based upon who's in crews and who are loner's and where everyone is positioned on the first half of the grandline.

here's my character . He currently doesn't reside in any crew but we'll see as the story continues.

Age:19

Personality: Marxo is quite calm and collected. He tends to speak in a very collective manner. Even in dire situation, he is always the one to keep his cool. He thinks it would better help the situation if he acts this way. It is often hard to make him made but not impossible. The most two major things that upset him are being turned down by females and running out of smokes. Other than that he remains almost monotone, from his voice, personality, and mindset. His persona is due to his past. Its almost like he has a split personality . His other half is a maniacal , senseless man with no disregard to human kind. His only interest in that time is seeing everything colored red with the blood of this enemies.

Home Island/Sea: St Laurants’ Isle,South Blue

History: Marxo was born in the East Blue . His family had traveled to the South almost immediately after he was born. They settled on a deserted island and used the wildlife to live off of. His mother happened to be a master chef but not one of legend and lore. His father on the other hand was a hunter so this made the couple well adept to their surrounding. Within the first three years of Marxo’s life his parents had already tamed the island and renamed the newly cultivated place St. Laurant’s isle after his family. At 7 he was taught how to hunt alongside his father. it seem to come naturally to the boy. his first catch was a friendly panda shark whom his father told him to release back into the sea. After all his mother had no use for such meat.

At the age of 14 ,he met his first neighbors. They had also traveled from an island off in the distance. From first sight they seemed like nice people, but eventually more unwelcomes began to turn up. Marxo saw this as a good thing but his parents knew better. They decided to establish a hierarchy with Marxo’s family heading the pack. This was agreeable since they were the first one aboard the island, but one family had different plans. They wanted the St. Laurant’s lifestyle , or better yet their lives. So one day the cooked up a scheme to take out this new head family. Since the St. Laurants’ did all of the hunting and cooking the other family decided that taking the load off of them for a day would be the best way to trick the family. It seemed like a convenience to Marxo and his family so they gladly accepted the invitation. The other would hunt and prepare a monstrous feast for the now,small village and the heads of the village but inside of the meals that they could would be either sleeping or paralyzing powder. On the night Marxo was turning 15 . He could never forget this night. It would be forever burned into his mind. His parents had been gutted like fishes in front of his very eyes. They had received the sleeping powder while he the paralyzing one. He knew they never stood a chance but he begged and pleaded with the other family. They just smiled and kept cutting till his parents resembled carved turkey. He knew he’d be next.

Just as they made their way towards him , the powder began to wear off. He could feel the blood rushing in his hands, then to his arms , and legs. Next came the pain. Tears swelled up in his eyes , as he continued to play helpless. As soon as the family made its move he’d destroy them. The father began to untie his hands. The moment he felt free he took the chair his was once sitting in and slammed it across the man’s face. He then picked up a piece of broken wood the chair and ran it like a dagger straight thru his heart. He stared at the other two women with soul-less eyes. “Your next.”, he exclaimed as he rushed towards them both with the same piece of wood he’d taken the man out with previously. He stabbed the women repeatedly until he was satisfied and passed out from exhaustion.

A few hours later he awoke to find himself on a slave tradeship, along with his fellow neighbors. The boat was headed for the east blue. He would spend the next 2 years as a cook aboard a floating restaurant in the sea until his killer mentality got the best of him and he slayed the entire crew. Before deserting the emptied cafe he’d stumbled upon an odd fruit. Upon eating the fruit his body began to rumble. Marxo grabbed ahold a knife that began to tremble at unnatural speed. It then grew in size , becoming nothing short of a sword. He later came to find out it was the “Moa Moa no Mi” fruit. For the next two years he trained and study everything he could find about the fruit .He truly wants to learn how to fully control the fruit and manipulate it to help him become a pirate.

Fruit: Moa Moa no Mi: The Moa Moa no Mi is a Paramecia-class Devil Fruit that allows the user to amplify the size or speed of any object they touch.

More More Sanjubai Giri (モアモア百倍斬り Moa Moa Hyaku-bai Giri, literally meaning "More More Thirtyfold Slash"): enlarges a scythe to 30 times its original size while it's flying towards his opponent.

More More Jubai Soku (モアモア十倍速 Moa Moa Jū-bai Soku, literally meaning "More More Tenfold Speed"): increases speed to 10 times original speed,

More More Sanjubai Soku (モアモア三十倍速 Moa Moa Sanjū-bai Soku, literally meaning "More More Thityfold Speed"): increases his speed to 30 times his original speed.

Fighting style: Jeet Kune Do(Wing Chun)- not fixed or patterned, and is a philosophy with guiding thoughts. It was named for the Wing Chun concept of interception or attacking while one's opponent is about to attack. Jeet Kune Do practitioners believe in minimal movements with maximum effects and extreme speed. The system works by using different "tools" for different situations, where the situations are divided into ranges, which are kicking, punching, trapping, and grappling, where martial artists use techniques to flow smoothly between them.

The setting takes place 50 years after Luffy becomes the King of the Pirates. He is currently on his deathbed. In the midst of passing away Luffy has one final wish, For someone to own the responsibilities as king and embody the spirit of Gold D. Roger. Over the course of years that have passed Luffy and his crew have amassed a greater fortune than their previous predecessors.

His fortune is to be locked away in a tomb somewhere in the sea. Whoever finds the treasure will become the King of all Pirates succeeding all those before him.

I hold the ability to reject any fruit not on this list as well if I believe it is either too powerful or does not fit the One Piece Universe. I also HIGHLY recommend making up your own fruit if you are able to. I had originally thought of banning all existing fruit from the get go but was talked out of it as that limits quite a few fruit as the One Piece series is rather extensive.

I'm not going to play both characters. I'm just putting up two to see if they'll be acceptable and then I'm going to wait to see what the devil fruit users to none devil fruit users ratio is going to be an I'll use the character who fits into the smaller group. If that's okay?

Melany Hunnir

Name: Melany Hunnir

Appearance:

Height/Weight: 5'1/117 lbs

Age: 17

Personality: Melany is still young and inexperienced with most of the world around her. She's eager to learn and anxious to prove her parent's lack of faith in her was completely wrong. She's an extremely caring person who'll do whatever she can to help those close to her. However Melany is nothing if not practical and won't hold back if its her, her loved ones, or someone innocent whose in danger.

Home Island/Sea: North Blue

History: Melanie was born to two loving parents who always hid something from her. Every day , for as long as she could remember she'd find them in the mornings looking towards the East, longing in their eyes. This went on till one day she woke up alone in a forest with a piece of paper and a kunai. It was in her father's hand writing. He explained who they really were, members of a clan assassins who'd escaped the old life when they learned her mother was pregnant. They missed their homeland and planned on taking her back, but first she needed to be ready, and so began her training.
The first month was survival in some ancient woods without anyone but herself for company. As far as forest went it wasn't especially dangerous, but there were always threats. Occasionally she'd find a note with tips, or loving words of encouragement from her parents. One time she got a new scarf for her birthday but that was it. After that her parents brought her back home and the real training began. This included four hours of intense physical training, four hours learning the ninja arts and ways, two hours studying biology, medicine, and chemistry, and an hour of intense meditations in the mornings, and the rest of the day would be spent on chores or if time allowed a walk through town.
One day her parents had a strange look on their faces. They told her to go town and gave her a long list of items she should pick up. She did, and upon her return she found both parents gone. The house had been burned down to the ground by such an intense fire even the stones were turned to dust. There was lots of blood and bodies but she didn't recognize any of them. Eventually she discovered a note that had been placed inside a deep gash one of her parents left. Their clan had found them and had taken them. There was money hidden nearby. She shouldn't try and find them. Since she wasn't blooded into the clan, the clan had no interest in her. She should enjoy what life she could have now. They were sorry to leave her and only regretted never showing her their homeland.
So she gathered her things, weapons and gear which was kept hidden a few miles away in an old cave, grab her money and set out to find her parents.

Fruit: None

Fighting style: As one trained in the art of the ninja Melany is willing to do almost anything for a victory with the exception of fighting fair. She focuses on surprise attacks, misdirection, and doing whatever she can to tip the scales in her favor as opposed to fighting her enemy head on. Kicking in the peaches, yanking off the banana, injuring a target's ally, etc, etc are all within her range of acceptable battle behavior.

Her primary weapons are a pair of kunai she keeps on her hips at all time, which she's profficient enough with to fight skilled swordsmen head on(which she'd rather not do.) She also carries around the smaller versions of the kunais to use as projectiles.

However, possibly the most dangerous aspect of her fighting stems from her knowledge of chemicals and the effects that have on the human body. She always carries around bombs of her own construction to. The most consistently used of these are: flash bangs, fire bombs, stink bombs, and smoke bombs.

Abbigail Carder

Name: Abbigail Carder

Appearance:

Height/Weight: 5'6/ 137lbs

Age: 16

Personality: Abbigail is curious and highly competitive, and isn't afraid of putting her pride on the line to prove it. She's idealistic and her head is always off floating in the clouds.

Home Island/Sea: North Blue

History: Abbigail grew up the only daughter of a rich family and as such she was expected to be a good girl who would marry a successful man and bring more wealth to the family. This almost worked too, but for her chance encounter with an old sea fairer who delighted her with his tales and informed her of the strong female fighters her met along his way, as he was lost as making his way across her family's land. For the first time Abbigail realized there was more she could do with her life than just look pretty. She wanted to adventure and show just hwo much of a bad ass she could be.

After the man departed from her company she would spend her days and nights reading the various tales of heroic deeds in her family's library and became even more obsessed with seeing the world and showing what she could do. Not that her father or mother encouraged her in these endevers. The two wouldn't hesitate to put her down for her dreams. Eventually it got so bad that the young woman stopped telling her family about her dreams, but that didn't mean she gave up on them. It just meant she wouldn't share them.

Eventually her father found her a exception suitor and without her having any say in the matter a wedding was planned. Her father even bought the young man a devil fruit as a gift for him, something like a dowry. It didn't go as plan though. On the day of the wedding Abbigail and the fruit disappeared. Nobody saw her sneak out of the window and run away, laughing at her past and smiling for the future.

Fruit: Bzzz-Bzzz Fruit A Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to essentially become a giant, living Bee Hive.
Bees The Bzzz-Bzzz fruit allows the user to release different types of bees, living in their body, for various attacks. The bees act like any other and even dying after stinging an enemy.
HoneyThe bees inside of Abbigail's body make honey like any other form of the insect. Abbigail can use this as a source of food, either absorbing it directly into her body, or pouring it out to use as a sweetener. She can even use the honey for attacks such as shooting it out like a high powered water hose or laying the sticky stuff on the ground as a trap. Though, she has a limited reserve.
(There's a lot of other abilities I'm working of the character but these are the ones she's going to start with.)

Dart RodAbigial's primary weapons is a steel fighting staff with a hollowed center. She uses it as a melee weapon or can put one end up to her lips and fire the bees out like a blow dart.

Fighting style: Abbigail is a rational human being and prefers to hold back and test her opponent's capabilities before moving in for an attack. She tends to plan her moves out like a chessplayer before beginning and has a bad tendency of playing things too defensively. However if she's pushed, and her pride is on the line, she can become enraged and forget all about defense, instead focusing all her energy on straightforward attacks(not her fruit's strong point.)
