Ever make a mistake so bad, that it hurts every time you just think of it? Ever wish you could go back in time and fix everything so you didn't hurt the one who matters most? Yeah, me too.

Bio

Do not go gentle into that good night
By: Dylan Thomas

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Hope's Last Stand

There is a storm on the horizon, a monster the likes of which have never been seen before to the unknowing citizens of this world. The coming darkness is stained red with the blood of the many who have fallen before it. The panicked, pained screams of those in worlds past echo in the wind, yet the masses of this world are still yet unaware of what is coming their way. For now, they continue about their lives; trading, hunting, stealing, war, and the likes occurring day to day as if the coming storm were not on the verge of unleashing hell upon their world. Yet many are on-edge as the end comes yet again closer. Kingdoms stand ready to go to war with each other over perceived slights that would have previously slipped by unnoticed. Monsters grow more aggressive in their raids upon the little towns of the magical world as if running for shelter from that which is coming. The blind seers and witches hovering their crystal balls speak of fragile borders between realities, and of the terrible wave of destruction coming their way. However, these whispers are lost to the powers that might be able to mount a response to the coming storm. Their pride too much to admit that something that they might yet need each other, or to even listen to those seers and witches.

While these people may be written off as false prophets, many of their predictions yet come true. The barriers between worlds grow thin, portals open to reveal alternate realities yet close again as quickly as they first appeared. Beings appear randomly, the entire world seems new to them as if they understand a different reality than this one. Monsters and creatures that have never been seen in this world are beginning to manifest, wreaking havoc with local ecosystems and towns. Chaos is starting to bury its vicious talons in the weak fabric of society. When chaos sets in on society, hope and order begin to crumble. You are in this world, whether a native or arrived from another by some strange coincidence. Yet you are still here all the same, and all around you, society begins to crumble under the pressure of the coming storm. The question remains of how you will respond when the storm finally makes its landfall upon these lands.

Hope is on its last legs in the face of the coming storm.

Character Creation:

No sliders, but there are plenty of options. Seriously, I don't quite like the idea of restricting people to this or that, saying that one thing is completely not allowed under any circumstance or whatever justification other GMs like to use. I've found that on occasion people can surprise me with a character that at first glance should have never been approved, but after a bit of one on one, can be a strong presence in the RP. With a setting as diverse as SW Legends, there are so many possibilities to build off of, so many backgrounds for characters and ways to make something truly unique. To that end, before we get to the character sheet proper and I let you all go to await what wondrous possibilities you provide me with, I do have a few things I would like to comment on regarding characters.

- On the subject of powerful characters, there is a simple rule here I have likely mentioned to each of you already. While I intend for all characters to reach the same approximate power level (unless you want to be less powerful, that is fine as well). What this means is weaker characters will have a chance to grow stronger over the course of the rp, while more powerful characters will stay about the same. That being said, this has nothing to do with character development, as that is always encouraged. Also remember we are all in this together, so having characters that work well together instead of doing all the work themselves is highly encouraged.

- Faces/Appearances. As you will note when looking over the CS, there is both a place for a picture and one for a detailed appearance. I would like both done, and encourage everyone to take that as an opportunity to go into greater detail about their characters. More important here, is the subject of pictures used in general. I've become rather partial to face-claims, and especially the use of gifs and such to show how my characters express themselves a little more… Viscerally. This is by no means a requirement for anyone, and I won't refuse a character on the basis of their CS using a particular art style. Just… Keep it presentable. You know what I mean.

- Characters in general. All that said, I would like to say that a well-structured and detailed sheet will always go over better than one that is essentially a somewhat expanded concept. The character sheet below is one adapted from another RP that I happened to like because not only is it innately structured better than something I could do on my own, but provides many places of opportunity for the player to add detail to their character. Just don't get too involved in creating a character that you may not be as enthused to play as the character once it's done. As someone who has done that before, I would hate to see someone put a lot of effort into a well-written character only to dislike it and not want to RP as it.

Jade Schneider

Jade said a small thanks towards Kiera as the other girl helped her to her feet. One hand moved to hold onto Kiera as a guide again, while the other clutched her new spellbook to her chest. Hearing the explanations between the campers, Jade nodded along as she wondered why her mother had chosen now to claim her. She wanted to read more of the Spell Book, but she was wary of what kinds of spells might be in there. As such, it might be better if she read it on her own later, at the cabin she would be assigned. Maybe by then her father would have arrived with the stuff she had packed.

Then another seemed to be claimed, by Aphrodite this time. Everything was happening so quickly, that she was having a bit of trouble processing it all. So everybody in this group was just now being claimed, back to back? They were all children of these ancient Greek Gods yet the gods couldn't seem to be bothered with them until they arrived at this camp. It all seemed so strange to her, but at the same time it was all comforting and familiar. She shook her head in confusion and gripped Kiera a bit more tightly for a second, wanting some feeling of familiarity.

The man arrived where the others had all gathered up just in time to catch the group talking about time travel of all things. Moving towards the back of the group, Roman stood where he could listen in out of curiosity. The idea of traveling back in time to undo everything that Ultron had done... that sounded like a good option to the agent. Then he was suddenly addressed by the Black Panther, and the man gave a firm nod. "If the Wizards could teleport us somewhere that I could get some books or something on the Quantum Realm to start with, I can get the parameters the device will need to meet." He said firmly before the door suddenly opened.

Seeing the terrorist there, Roman swore as he realized he left his firearm by his bed. Not that he really would have too much of a choice, the Scarlett Witch would likely be able to tear through him with ease. Still, he would've liked some sort reassurance that she wouldn't get all freaky and kill them all. As the woman said that she wasn't here to kill them, Roman worried about it possibly being a lie. Could she be working with Ultron, manipulated by him perhaps? He wasn't sure, but was sure to keep himself on edge around her.
Jade Schneider

Hearing the girl who had offered help introduce herself, brought a small smile to Jade's lips. Kiera was a pretty name, and Jade was about to comment on it whenever Chiron began speaking about the purpose of the camp and all that. Big three, generations of heroes. It all seemed to surreal and a bit strange to the girl, but she went along with it for now. Perhaps she could ask some more questions in private later on, so she wouldn't be bothering everybody else with what she was sure would be silly questions. As the girl wondered about how strange everything at this camp was, she was soon about to discover just how strange things could really get around this camp.

Soon enough she felt something running up her leg, causing the blind girl to yelp in panic and try to shake it off. In her movements, she let go of Kiera and fell backward onto her rear just as the weasel reached her shoulders. Mere moments before Chiron spoke up about he being claimed a voice spoke from behind her, the same one who had been previously warning her about monsters. Whispering a single word, the name that Chiron said a mere second after it spoke. Hecate, the Goddess of Magic and such? That was her mother? Mere seconds after that, a hefty book appeared in her hands. Curiosity taking the best of her, the girl opened it to find it was written in braille. Running her fingers across the page, she found it to be a... spellbook? The page she was reading at the moment speaking about creating a massive fireball. "I-I got a spellbook?" She asked aloud, the confusion quite clear in her tone.

Roman Carter

Agent Roman Carter was not in the best of moods on this particular day. Sitting on his bunk with a small mat before him, and various pieces of some metal object spread out across it. The man was staring at the pieces and trying to make sense of the idea occupying his mind. Ever since Ultron had turned against the world, Roman had wondered if perhaps he could do something about the rogue intelligence. Certainly with his inhuman abilities. Perhaps he could seize control of Ultron's intelligence? Roman wasn't sure, but he felt obligated to try at the very least. The object his lap might help him do exactly that, if he could figure out how the hell to make it all fit together and work in the first place.

What should have been an amplifier, something which could potentially increase his abilities and allow him to hijack Ultron was, however, completely beyond him. Unfortunately, Roman did not understand how to amplify his powers nor how to directly integrate the little device with his biology. He had not exactly learned how to interface with biological creatures, or what exactly his inhuman abilities necessarily involved. Sure he could use them, but he had no clue what exactly he was doing and then how to amplify his capabilities. The answer was surely there somewhere, he hoped. He wanted to be able to put an end to Ultron's reign of terror once and for all. Yet it seemed that would not be happening anytime soon. With an angry grumble, he collected the pieces from the mat and put them away for now as he realized he wasn't going to get anywhere with that. Roman needed better tools, and somebody with knowledge on how he could integrate with biology, and amplify inhuman abilities. The technology part of his pet project, that much he could do. It was just everything else that made it difficult. With a small huff, Roman made his way out from where he was, deciding to clear his mind and see what others were doing around the Sanctum.
Jade Schneider

Jade wanted to ask more questions after the identity of the man... er.. centaur, was confirmed. However, the sounds of a younger girl interrupted her with a small flurry of questions, something not all that surprising for the girl sounded young. Words such as stygian dagger and such floated around, only confusing Jade even further. Hearing that there were apparently children of Hades here, Jade wondered who her Godly parent was. She sincerely hoped it to be Asclepius, though not sure how that would let her speak with the dead, it would at least mean she is somewhat related to a God of Medicine. Maybe she would somehow be able to heal her sight? How she wished for the ability to get rid of this damned handicap already.

However, it seemed they were moving off with a tour. The girl was about to speak up, worried about tripping over some rock when a girl spoke up next to her. Reaching out, Jade managed to find the girl's hand and held onto it tightly. Following along after the girl while using the cane in her other hand to check for any obstacles. "Thank you, just warn me if I don't see anything like rocks or whatever I could trip on?" Jade asked quietly before seeming to think of something else. "Oh! I'm Jade, by the way." She said in a friendly tone, wondering if she had already made a new friend at this camp.

@Morose The blue, sheet should be updated now to be all the blue.
@Morose Updated the sheet, and I had not intended for him to be related to Agent Carter. He could be related, but that was not my original intent.
Alright now its in the actually correct thread, and this should be the finalized sheet. Of course, I can easily do some edits if any part of it needs it. @Morose
