Joshua listened to Amaya ramble on, rather surprised to see this side of her. He had never thought he would see the normally shy but sweet girl turn into something like this. In fact, it was rather unsettling, partially because he could see a bit of his past self in this side to Amaya, but also because of how it was in such stark contrast to her normal self. Once she finished her rage filled speech, he pulled her closer, keeping a gentle but firm grip on her.
"Amaya, please, calm down. If you let your rage take over, you'll lose yourself to it." He said to talk calmly. "If you keep going on like this, we may all die. You'll lose another home and all your friends again. Please, calm down, so that we might all come out of this alive."

Sadly, it would seem his warning to her was rather unneeded, as some of the other engaged in combat with the Black Mage and as a result, put the whole damn guild in danger. When Zeref rained constructs down among them, Joshua kept ahold of Amaya as he moved between them, making sure that neither he or Amaya touched them in the slightest.

Amelia, meanwhile, watched her parents as they as they observed the situation. Phlegethon also listened to them before addressing Jarvis and Jamie.
"If the death mage tries to harm any of you, I will hold him off. He cannot destroy me and even if I am defeated by some means, I will simply return to my mistress. There is no need for you to remain behind Master Jarvis. Simply flee with your family, be it just your wife and daughter or the whole guild. I will be more then enough to hold off that man for the time being." The reaper said, his gaze never leaving Zeref and the dragons. Phlegethon knew he could at least hold off Zeref one-on-one. Kill, definitely not. That would require his boss's interference and Amelia could not do that yet. Factor in the dragons and it would be a one-sided fight outside of his favor but he could at least buy some time for the guild, even if it was only a minute or two.

So when it came to Zeref deciding to go on a rampage, h moved in front of the family as the constructs rained down. One of them came towards Amelia, Jarvis, and Jamie and the armored Reaper planted his sword in the ground before holding out his hands. The construct came in contact and Phlegethon managed to not get pushed back by it, thus keeping the family safe. Once he was sure it was secure, the Reaper lofted the construct before throwing it back towards Zeref, or more specifically, one of the Dragons the Black Mage was controlling. They could die at least.

Too much was happening too fast for Joshua to really keep up. Dragons, spirits, and the Black Mage who even he, who was was normally ignorant of many a historical figure in this country, had some knowledge of, however little it might be. From what he had heard, this man was among one of the most powerful mages in the world and that was quickly proven when his sudden appearance seemed to cause all the dragons to just simply... stop. Joshua felt something he hadn't really felt in a long time, that being the emotion of fear. This was not an opponent they could beat, that much he knew. He glanced around and it seemed as if the general consensus of his guild was either shock or fear. However, when he spotted Amaya, he noted her expression was... different. It was one he had never seen on her face before, one of anger. He moved over to her side and gently pulled her down, assuming Cecilia didn't resist, and gently placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Calm yourself. Don't act recklessly." He said to her quietly and soothingly.

By her parents' side, Amelia was definitely one of the worse off by everything going on. She was absolutely terrified, but then again, she was only a child and was probably the least battle hardened of the rather large group that was currently on the island. Between the dragons, the appearance of a force strong enough to stop them, and well... it was a lot for her to take in and register and more then a little overwhelming for her. She held into Jarvis, staying close to him for comfort as Phlegethon made his presence known, standing in front of the family, sword at the ready. If there was one person immune to death magic, which Phlegethon could sense a mile away, it was probably the Horseman. Just in case though, Lethe stayed in Amelia's locket so as to avoid taxing her magic and as a back up Horseman incase Phlegethon fell.

"Hello there Cofagrigus. It's a pleasure to meet you." Amelia said calmly, evidently not scared in the slightest. "My name is Amelia and that is my friend Dawkin over there. We're were visiting your tomb to see if I might be able to take some of it's residents on a journey with me. However, since we've arrived, it would seem that there's been trouble here. An Aegislash appears to be preparing to attack the area's surrounding the tomb and beyond. I was wondering if you could help us stop this so that this tomb doesn't become a battleground and your rest interrupted by all the fighting. I don't think you want humans like us coming here strictly to hurt your friends like the Yamasks here, right?"

"Gentle, gentle. I'll be coming my friends." Amelia said, getting to her feet and following the Yamasks when they began pulling her, keeping pace with them with ease. However, the sight of the little mask carrying ghosts fighting off the other occupants of the tomb for their sake, he couldn't help but frown and look a bit upset. She didn't like the idea of neighbors fighting each other. But, this was simply all the more reason for her to see this through and hopefully bring peace back to the tomb.

When they finally arrived to the room the Yamasks had been guiding them to. It was small, empty, and rather unremarkable save for the golden sarcophagus. However, Amelia knew what that sarcophagus actually was and slowly approached it while examining the room for any signs that there might have been another pokemon here before. Once she was in front of the main object of interest though, she gave it her full attention before lightly tapping on it's lid.
"Cofagrigus… can I talk to you please?" She asked it, her tone calm and friendly.

Amelia was feeling rather discouraged right up until the Yamask began showing up. The first one cuased her to jump, having been so distracted she hadn't noticed it's presence coming closer until it spoke. She quickly recognized the second cry as a call for comrades, which was quickly confirmed when several presences began coming closer, revealed to be more Yamasks, who quickly crowded around her. This brought a smile to the young girl's face as she slowly rose to her feet, reaching out to pet the Yamask if they would let her, while replying to Dawkin's comment.
"I guess you could say that. I'm from Witchpeak City and I spent a lot of time in the cemetery there. I'm friends with all the Ghost-types that inhabit it." She said to him before turning her attention to the Yamasks. "Hello there my friends. Do you know what's going on in this tomb? Can you possibly help us? Is there a Cofagrigus here I can possibly talk to? We're trying to keep things from escalating out of the tombs so that you'll be left in relative peace down here."

Amelia was silent as she observed the situation before them. Too many pokemon for them to fight, even if you dismissed the presence of the fully evolved pokemon. Too many hostile ones for them to even consider trying to negotiate. Amelia sighed and closed her eyes, focusing for a bit.
"Four Ghost-types to our left and three to our right. I think there are some beyond the throne room there, but it's too hard to tell how many. I don't know where any Bronzors or Sigilyphs might be... honestly, I don't know what to do." She said, taking a seat on the ground and rubbing her forehead. "Too many hostile pokemon to bother trying to reason with them. Even if we dismiss the Aegislash and Golurks there are far too many for us to fight with out pokemon. Even trying some sort of distraction would likely backfire on us badly and we'd end up being put to sleep.

I think... the Yamask are the only ones that haven't bothered attacking us so far. They might be the only friendly pokemon here... there's a chance there's a Cofagrigus around here somewhere... but trying to find it might mean a lot of battling. I don't think our pokemon will be able to withstand multiple battles, especially mine. I just... I don't know what to do. This isn't right, this shouldn't be happening.

I guess all we can do is wait and see how things go for her down there, because we can't do anything.
"

Neither Joshua nor Absol attempted to catch the girl as she fell. It wasn't a dangerous fall or anything and the worse that would happen was if she fell at an odd angle and injured herself in some way. Which didn't seem to happen, so there was no need for concern in the end. Awesome.

Amelia, meanwhile, let Dawkin finish off the Honedge while she check on her partners, especially Litwick and Phantump who had taken some rather hefty blows. After making sure everyone was okay, she returned them to their pokeballs and turned to the girl as she spoke to the room before proceeding in deeper, after which Dawkin approached her about her plans on what to do next. She looked around before making up her mind.
"I'll go deeper into the tombs as well, try to calm down whatever it is that's causing all the ghosts to attack the people coming here." She said before turning to Joshua, who was leaning against a nearby wall. "What are you going to do?"

"Chase after Pops and see if I can find any Sigilyph around here. Typically a tomb like this would have several flying about on their usual routes, but I haven't see a single one. So either there were none around to begin with or something happened to them all. Either way, you two can go and do your thing, but I'm still concerned about what might be down there." He said.

"It's a powerful pokemon most likely. Given the residents we do know of it's likely an Aegislash. The Royal Sword pokemon." Amelia said. "If this is the tomb of a king, it would make sense."

"That's also a pokemon even your full teams combined can't deal with. So try and find a way to settle it without battling if you can. I think you're going to need your... gift here Ame. That girl obviously thinks she has it as well, but I've seen no evidence of that. You on the other hand... I'll believe in you but if I don't hear from either of you after a while, I'm coming back in for you both. This is dangerous after all and I don't want something bad happening to either of you." He said before casually pushing himself off the wall and rolling his shoulders. "Anyway, best of luck down there. Absol, let's see if we can't find us that old man and some... bird-things. Seriously, I'll never figure out what they really are."

With that, Joshua walked away, waving good-bye. Amelia returned the wave before turning towards the tunnel the girl had gone down and taking a deep breath.
"Shall we?" She asked. Regardless of his answer, she would venture deeper into the tombs.

Amelia let out a small scream as she was dropped, even though she had been somewhat expecting it. Luckily, the fall wasn't far and she landed rather well, so she was able to get on her feet quickly while still seeing what had happened to her partners and what Dawkin's pokemon, who had entered the fray, were up to. Litwick got ganged up on but otherwise seemed alright and in good enough condition to keep fighting. She also didn't want to hurt his pride by taking him out so he was going to stick around. Assessing the situation was easy and she issued her orders quickly. While this meant she kind of ignored Dawkin, it was out of simple concern for her partners and focusing on her current task. She meant nothing harmful by doing so. However, she also took Dawkin's orders into account before speaking.
"Leave the Golett to me, Fire Spin might end up hurting Atlas. If Atlas knows a ground type move, use it on the Honedge, since it has the No Guard Ability and will always get hit as a result. Have Wooper help me take out the Bronzor, since Atlas won't do as well against that one." She said to him before ordering her pokemon. "Litwick, get close to Golett and Astonish it as much as you can. Stay within your flames. Shuppet, Driffloon, Knock-Off and Astonish on the Bronzor. Phantump and Pumpkaboo, both of you Astonish the Honedge."

Her hope was that maybe the Honedge, being unable to avoid attacks due to it's ability would fall quickly. If not, she hoped to at least distract them from ganging up on Litwick, so he might not get knocked out instantly. On top of that, with Fire Spin going, Golett was taking constant, if rather small, damage, which would hopefully help take it down without Liwick getting knock out.

Regardless, her pokemon lept into action, Liwick literally so in that he jumped into his own Fire Spin, keeping within his flames. Under normal circumstances, his would likely hurt him but since Litwick possessed the Flame Body ability, it instead healed him, even if only by a very minor amount. Meanwhile, her other pokemon flew over to their respective targets and used the moves they had been ordered to, making it a 2v1 battle between them and their opponents, 3v1 is Dawkin did what she suggested.

---------------------------

Meanwhile, concerning the fleeing Golett, a white blur ran through the battlefield and got in front of it, cutting it off before it reached the exit. THE DARK GOD HAD RISEN ONCE AGAIN! Absol growled at the Golett.

"That's the only warning you'll get mate." Joshua said to the Golett calmly as he walked up behind it. "Release the girl and you'll get out of this unscathed. Don't and well..."

Absol's horn glowed as black energy with a dark purple border surrounded it, the Disaster pokemon preparing to use Night Slash if the Golett attempted to fight back. It would no hesitate.

"Well, guess it's time to get moving." Joshua said to himself, putting his now empty water bottle into his bag before looking over at the group of Golett's heading towards town. He glanced down at Absol before simply nodding and heading towards the ruins while Absol went to intercept the Golett's heading to cause trouble. Absol got ahead of the group in short order and the more powerful and experienced Disaster pokemon earned it's title by creating some lovely ice sculptures with a Blizzard or two before running off to join his Trainer.

Amelia in the meantime, didn't stay idle turning her trip down into the tombs. She managed to grab all her pokeballs and waited to see what was going to happen. If she needed two, she would call upon her pokemon to battle, but she really hoped it didn't come down to that. Sadly, it seemed that the residents of the tomb had other plans, as she saw that they were putting the captives to sleep. Thankfully, it didn't seem like she would have to fight impossible odds as one of her fellow captives got free of the Golett carrying him and ran away, causing most of them to follow him. That being said, it would still be five against five and she didn't put the odds entirely in her favor. Still, she had to do something until Dawkin could come and help her. With that, she threw all her pokeballs into the air.
"Litwick, Fire Spin on the Golett holding the Honedge and Bronzor. Shuppet, Knock Off on the Golett holding me. Everyone else, Astonish the same Golett!" She commanded.

Her pokemon popped out of their pokeballs and immediately sprang into action: Litwick unleashed it's fire spin the on Golett coming to put Amelia to sleep, catching Honedge and Bronzor in the process due to the golem-like pokemon holding the two. Being they were steel-types and Fire Spin a fire-type move, albeit a weak one, it might've dealt some decent damage to them while the ground-type Golett was unharmed. However, Fire Spin was also a trap-type move, preventing those caught inside of escaping it. While this wouldn't effect the two Ghost-types as they were immune to trapping effects, it would keep the Bronzor in place.

Meanwhile, Shuppet aimed a knock-off at the Golett holding Amelia. If the move hit, it would likely drop her if she counted as a held item for some reason. Then again, she was being held. Meanwhile, Phantump, Pumpkaboo, and Driffloon all used Astonish on the Golett. Four super effective attacks on the same target in rapid succession. Amelia could only hope they all hit and that it would be enough to knock the Golett out.

"This looks like it could be rather dangerous." Joshua said calmly, walking up behind Dawkin. He cast an eye around the tombs and frowned. He wasn't special like Amelia but even he could tell before entering that something was off. That feeling was growing.

Amelia was happy to see that neither of Dawkin's opponents lasted very long against his pokemon. She noted Dawkin needed to learn a bit more about the abilities his opponent's might possess but otherwise, she knew he did very well, as she noted his pokemon suffered minimal damage. She doubted that she would've been able to pull off a similar feat but she knew this might change over time. After he was done, she resumed in leading the way to the ruins, wonder what they would find.

It honestly was more then she expected. The ruins themselves where nothing out of the ordinary or unexpected. A single visible structure built into the rocks, possibly going underneath the sand, with several pillars surrounding it. There were also several tents set up outside the ruins, suggesting a research team was here. Either that or looters, though she hoped not. Thankfully, it looked more like the former option, as there were several people who resembled researchers about. The bad news was that they were running away from the sight due to a small army of Gollets. She noted two people battling against them but the numbers were just too much and they were quickly overwhelmed before being picked up and taken into the ruins, not putting up much resistance after their pokemon ere knocked out.

When Dawkin went to send his pokemon out, Amelia gently grabbed his hand and shook her head at him.
"Don't bother. There are more here then we can count, so even if you tried to battle them, you're pokemon would be overwhelmed and it would be for not. Something has riled the guardians of this place up. If we want to help, the best thing to do would be to head in and find whatever it is. Save your pokemon the suffering for now. I doubt the Gollets will actually harm anyone." She said calmly before walking towards the army of clay automatons. If one of them approached her, she would put up no resistance in being taken, simply reaching out to take it's hand instead, letting it lead her away. Part of her hoped they wouldn't be so rough if her if she was willing to go along, but if they carried her, they could do so without her struggling.

From a distance, Joshua watched all this, sipping a bottle of water.
"Well, wonder what kind of party they'll find inside. Hopefully not too much." He said to himself. He hoped the kids could handle it on their own, but he was willing to intervene if things got out of hand. But only time would tell.
