Dean Winchester
Dean held her hand tightly as they walked across the parking lot, bringing her hand up to his lips and kissing her knuckles gently. He still didn’t like the idea that she was coming along, only for the fact that he wasn’t sure she would be safe. But, none of them were safe, until this was handled. So, he had to push that down too.
He stepped up into the backseat and shoved her to the side a bit, deciding to ride with her, in case this was the last time he was able to. The entire ride, he fidgeted with his hands, moving them from his own leg, to hers, to her hands, the back of the seat, anywhere he could place them to keep himself moving.
As they pulled up to an old barn, he narrowed his eyes, looking at Bobby’s face in the mirror, “Bobby, where is this place?”
Bobby put the truck in gear and cleared his throat, waving his hand at the building, “Me and Rufus went through, before he bailed on my ass after I told him the dirty ‘I don’t know’, when he asked what all of it was for. We put up every damn sigil I could come up with in the books…”
Dean raised his eyebrows further, as the barn looked completely clean from the outside, almost boring. He opened his door and stepped out of the truck, stepping up in front of the door, as Bobby also exited and continued what he was saying.
“I got everything set up in there. It’s kinda an all over spell to summon every damn thing from any dimension we can…and I just need your hair to finish it. That should narrow it down.”
As Bobby finished, Dean sighed, flexing his fists with anxiety before turning to them both.
“Alright then. Let’s get started.”
Cason
Cason glared back at Natalia as he entered the room behind Sam, not honestly caring if she liked his presence. He was only there for one reason. As Sam laid Annabeth on the bed, he let out his own shuddered sigh, seeing her dead body. It was a lot to take in, after the time he had spent trying to keep her safe.
“How could you let this happen?”, he whispered in the silence to Sam. He stepped up behind him, fully ready for a fight, “How is it that the great Sam Winchester just…fails at everything, and loses the one key to all of this mess…”
Before he could launch much of an attack on Sam, a flutter of wings was heard, and another man stood next to him. An Angel. Cason stepped back in shock, pressing himself against a wall. He had heard about them, but he hadn’t seen one in person yet. The sigil…
Samael
Samael landed, furious, in the hotel room, standing over Sam Winchester and the girl’s body. His face was still, his jaw clenched as he looked at her with a growl. He quickly turned his rage to Sam, wanting to crush the worthless human to dust in front of him. But…that wasn’t the directive.
And judging by the boy’s response to the girl’s body, he knew that his petty nature would be punishment enough. More so than killing him. Sighing, he folded his arms and glared around at everyone in the room.
“They had one job.”, he spoke softly, “ONE JOB! This wasn’t supposed to happen. She dies at MY HANDS! Not some low life demon abomination…MINE!”
His screaming caused Cason to jump as he slowly cut his hand behind his back, dripping a bit of the blood on the bedside table, where he began running a single finger through it in a design.
“So, I guess…I’ll have to figure out another way to do it myself. She is beautiful, though, isn’t she?”, he asked Sam, running a finger along Annabeth’s forehead, a strand of her hair moving with it, “I mean…I can understand the sadness.”
He stepped back, not wanting to resurrect her just yet. He wanted the younger Winchester to hurt…badly.
“…because you failed. You’ll always fail. You…killed her…Samuel.”
