Marathon training started today, and it's just as painful as I expected. Wahh. But I do feel a bit better than I do on my normal run. Pain - Bad. Runners high from a long run? Great.

I twisted my ankle on my run because of a damn pecan and now I think pecan trees in parks should be illegal T_T Good news, it's not broken. Bad news, I have to rest it for a day or two.

Bio

Hi!
You can call me Anna!
I'm a veteran of the old Guild, before the shutdown.
I love Supernatural, and currently, all of my RPs are Supernatural related. Feel free to message me with ideas!

Dean Winchester is me. I am Dean Winchester.

A mom. A wife. A very protective best friend. Pathological People Pleaser. Intimidating due to my patience and general ability to be unbothered.

I'm addicted to working out, running, and generally having an endorphin high. I also tend to be very annoying talking about it, but I'm way more annoying when I'm depressed.

I'm a hopeless Swiftie. So, if you hate her, I wouldn't RP with me, if you like OOC banter. 90% of songs I use as fuel are Taylor Swift deep cuts. Not really any exceptions.

If I currently RP with you, you're basically my best friend and I will protect you with my life. <3

And also, also, because I have super severe ADHD, I tend to ghost on accident. Never be shy to send me a reminder message. I don't get offended!

@FuriePhoenix owns my soul.

Dean nearly flinched when she touched his cheek, leaning into her palm with his eyes closed. He listened to her explain away both the one thing he knew for certain in life, but also his one biggest fear: dying violently as a hunter…alone. As she spoke, his heart fluttered. He had never had anyone in his corner. He was the rock. He was the foundation that Sammy’s personality was built on, and from the day he turned four years old, he was on his own. His emotions were his own. His reactions were his own. Having someone to shoulder some of that weight was completely foreign.

Opening his eyes, he continued nuzzling into her hand as he sighed, “Chances are, for someone like me, I die bloody. And then what does that leave you? My car? I mean, what would you do if I died?”

As he asked the question, he held now ill will in the tears that were starting to form in his eyes, as a lot of the weight from the past few days crept into them. Maybe it was because he was relaxed, but he felt the need to get some things off his chest.

“Because I can tell you what I would do. I would do exactly what I have done for the past few years. I would go insane…I would chase ghosts, and I would not rest until I could get you back here.”, he muttered, his lip quivering, “And that’s not something I’m prepared to do again, honestly. When I think about settling down, I think about the fact that no matter where I am, or who I’m with…I’m the poison. I’m the bad luck.”
Cason

Cason had teleported carefully back under Esme’s head, clutching her to him a bit as she fought another nightmare. This time tears fell from her eyes, which caused him to raise an eyebrow, before whisking them away with his thumb. He gave a sad glance and then rolled his eyes, placing his hand against the side of her hair as he stared into the darkness of the room.

It seemed like an eternity before the sun came up, as he wasn’t used to going this long without a cigarette, or doing something to keep himself busy. Not sleeping had its perks. He could always finish a job, and never had to stop to sleep or eat. But, it had a downside….boredom.

Before he knew it, Esme was stirring in what he thought was another nightmare, and he pulled her closer to him, stroking her hair. However, she was actually awake. He smirked, somewhat happy the human wasn’t dead or injured to the point of a coma. When she scrambled from the bed and pulled a gun on him, he simply sighed, figuring this was like all the other times humans had the idea of killing him with a gun. He simply held his hands up and smirked.

“Good mo-“, he started, as a bullet pierced his vessel’s head and brain causing a sharp scream to leave his throat. He flipped off the bed and onto the floor, holding a shaky hand over the bullet hole in his forehead. He had to admit it was a good shot, “What the hell is wrong with you?! You can’t just shoot people!”

He heard her continue to yell at him as she stood against the wall. His only instinct was to rush her and snap her neck, but he chose not to. She still had a damn gun. The bullet had lodged just in front of the back of his skull, which caused him to groan loudly, and slap the back of his head, moving the bullet to a spot where his body could expel it.

“You um…ah dammit! You passed out in the hotel. There was no one there that would have been able to keep you safe, while they scrambled all over the place. So…I brought you here.”, he explained, wiping a bit of blood from his nose with another groan. He stepped forward to her, holding his hands out, “I didn’t do anything to you if that’s what you’re worried about. But why the hell would you shoot me?! What have I ever done to you?!”

He reached forward and took the gun from her hand carefully, clicking the safety back on as the blood flowed down his face, his body having issues pushing the bullet out. He slammed the gun down on the table beside her, grabbed his pack of cigarettes at the same moment, “I told you. I owe you.”
Dean smiled briefly at the absurdity of someone trying to get through to his dad, if he had his mind made up. In times like that, Dean could sometimes say his opinion, but most everyone else was just a mental casualty of John Winchester’s temper and chip on his shoulder.

He closed his eyes and clenched his jaw at the thought of Sam being in some upscale school on the West Coast. He probably wasn’t even working cases. Hell, he probably didn’t even have a gun with him. Opening his eyes and looking at her, he quickly diverted his eyes to the bed, “I don’t know. Sam’s really smart. And if he finds out I’m spying on him, or anything…he’d freak out so bad.”

He looked back up at her and sighed, “But, eventually he’ll figure it out. He was meant to be a hunter…it’s just…how it is. As much as I would love to settle down, drink my whiskey by a fire place and go to bed with a beautiful woman in my bed every night…I already know that’s not how my story ends.”

He gave a sad smirk, and bit his lip.
Dean smiled at her expression, continuing the movement of his finger against her jaw. He loved the little faces she made, and the way she closed her eyes when her cheeks were touched. He even loved the way she looked cross eyed when he kissed her nose or got too close to her face without warning. It all made him smile.

He cleared his throat, rolling onto his stomach so that he could get a better view of her eyes, and brushed more hair from in front of her face, “Dad thinks Esme is poison. And he thinks your memory is poison. He’ll understand once I tell him everything…well…as much as I can.”

He whispered the words with the softest voice he could muster, “You’re the only constant thing, other than Sammy, I have ever had. And now, it’s just you. Sammy’s gone, and for how long…I don’t know.”
Sam and Annabeth

Annabeth sighed, looking around at the auras of everyone around her. Sam's remained a bright blue, while Natalia's was more of a magenta. Her aura seemed a little less threatening than the color would suggest, and it made her smile lightly, as Natalia spoke to her.

When Sam went over the game plan, she held onto him, following him out of the room and carefully down the stairs. She was surprised by how well she took the stairs, even if most of her weight was on Sam's side.

As they reached the car, she felt around for the door handle, determined to help herself.

Sam made sure to not ever go too quickly and just take their time so Annabeth wouldn't feel like she was being rushed. He too was surprised at how well she was taking the stairs but was very much thankful for it. When they got to the cars, he walked Annabeth as close to the passenger door and to the handle as he could that wouldn't be an issue for her once she got it opened.

He waited for her to be able to open the door and safely get in, which he helped with before he even thought about walking round to the driver's side, opening the door, and getting in as well. "you okay and ready to go?" he asked her, glancing in his rearview mirror to wait for the a-okay from Natalia. He knew she would absolutely complain if he didn't wait as she didn't have the address and he certainly wasn't Dean who would jokingly start to drive off without her because he thought he was funny.

Annabeth roughly plopped herself into the passenger seat, turning her head toward the driver's seat as Sam got in and asked if she was okay. Nodding, she pulled her seatbelt on, and smiled, "I'm good to go. I'm honestly just ready for a bed, and some quiet time. To say it's been a long day is an understatement."

As she muttered the words, flashes of what had happened earlier in the night caused her to start crying silently. Her eyes being gone stopped the tears from forming, but she felt it nonetheless.

Sam smiled softly but sadly as she told him she was basically more than ready to go, as he read between the lines of her reply. "that it has, I'm certainly ready to move on" he replied to her, seeing Natalia make it to her car, chuck all the bags in the trunk then get in and give him the signal to get moving. Her signal was always a simple gesture of circling her hand in the air then giving the thumbs up. It was a gesture she only ever seemed to give him which brought a small smile to his face.

He started the ignition and began driving out of the parking lot, and as he made sure Natalia was always in eyeshot of him in his rear views, he drove to the next hotel in question that Cason found, whilst also hoping that Esme was indeed alright and the demon hadn't done anything to her.

"We won't be too long then you can hopefully relax in a more comfortable room," he spoke up, hoping that the odd little bit talking to her would keep her calm enough and not so lost in her thoughts as she processed her lack of sight.

Annabeth smiled softly, reaching over to touch his bicep, the small touch of the skin causing her heart to slow and her mind to relax a bit. 'At least that still works, she thought with a soft sigh. She leaned her head onto the seat and turned her body toward him, attempting to figure out how sleeping would work.

As they pulled into the new hotel parking lot, she jolted awake by a bump and gasped lightly, turning her head to Sam. She gave a small smirk and stared out the windshield to see the shape of the hotel.

“Well. We’re home…”, she muttered, suddenly excited by the idea of a clean bed, and hopefully no angels.

Feeling her touch his bicep he smiled, letting he do whatever she needed to feel some kind of calm as they drove. It wasn't like the simple touch would get in the way of him driving. It didn't take long before he was aware of her falling asleep during the ride, smiling to himself he continued driving in silence until they reached the hotel, accidentally going over a speed bump at the entrance of the parking lot a bit too harshly.

When it woke Annabeth up he felt a tad bad that she got woken up in such an abrupt way but he knew he'd have to wake her anyway. Finding a spot that had two spaces next to each other, he pulled into one whilst seeing Natalia pull into the other. Killing the engine he smiled at her little remark, "that we are. At least for tonight" he added, putting his car key into his jeans pocket and opened the door, getting out and jogging round to her side opening the door for her. "here, I'm here to help" he told her, holding his arm out to her to feel for whilst using his other hand to shield the top of the car so she didn't whack her head.

Annabeth carefully got out of the car, holding onto his arm for stability as she did. Once both feet were on the ground next to him, she straightened her clothes and sighed.

"I can't stay long...", a familiar voice rang out next to them as Cason carefully stepped up. His hands were raised, from the shape Annabeth could make out and he handed both Sam and Natalia a key, "I have to get back and make sure...um...Esme is still asleep."

Annabeth gave a confused head tilt to him mentioning the girl with some sense of emotion. She reached up in the direction of his left hand and took the key from him, which caused him to roll his eyes.

"Before you ask, Room 112...Sam can get you there.", Cason quipped, before turning around and walking back to the hotel where he and Esme were staying.

At the sound of the familiar voice, Sam instantly looked around and saw Cason standing there giving the universal sign for 'I'm not here to fight'. He rose an eyebrow at Cason's wording toward Esme wondering what he was on about but decided he wasn't going to call him out on it just yet. That conversation can wait until later.

He couldn't help but smirk as Annabeth still insisted on taking the room key before he could as Natalia got out of her car and took the other key. "keep us updated on Esme's condition" he told Cason in a tone that showed him he wasn't asking... But telling as he then watched Cason walk back to the hotel room he had Esme in. "well, at least he's truthful about having got us rooms" Natalia quipped with a shrug. "true, I'll get Annabeth to our room then I'll help you with the bags" he told his sister, gaining a nod of approval from Nat and then walked to room 112 with Annabeth.

Dean smiled a bit brighter, rolling to the side and leaning up on an elbow as he stared at her. Love was a literal four letter word for him, usually. He had trouble saying it to even Sam, or his dad. It always felt like a word that came with weakness. But he couldn’t help express it, if not only through the grateful feeling of her being back with him, bringing it to the top of his throat.

He pulled the blanket up over them and stayed in place, running a finger up and down the contour of her jaw as he stared at her. He knew his gaze was fixed, but he had to just soak in the peacefulness.

“I’ll never let you out of my sight again. I hope you know that.”, he whispered, cringing in his own head at his words, “I mean never. I’d go crazy if you went on a hunt without me, now. It’s not even something I want to think about. Dad or not…”

He said the last words to make sure that she knew that regardless of what John had to say about their relationship, she was with him now. John could screw off and stay on his own. Dean would help him with his hunts, if not just to keep him alive, but this was the one part of his life John wouldn’t control anymore.
Dean smirked as he stared down at Mika after some time, silently hoping Bobby was out of the house as he laughed internally. He smiled brighter, and pushed her hair away from her face as he leaned on his elbows above her. He kissed her sweetly, nuzzling her nose with his, just taking in everything that had happened in the past twenty four hours. It was surreal. Good things didn’t happen to him, often, without a catch. But this. This seemed right.

The only question was, at what point would his Dad manage to ruin all of it. He shook the thought a bit and running his thumb gently along the side of her face, “Don’t tell anyone…but…”

He kissed her sweetly again, pulling at her lip with his teeth and a smile, “I think I love you…”
Dean jerked his head back in an almost confused and surprised way, when she wrapped her arms around him again. He wrapped his arms around her torso and looked up at the ceiling, “Um. Well…Rekindling can mean a million things, you know. I mean…there’s exploration. There’s therapy stuff. There’s sex. We all know that one…”

As he spoke, he kept his eyes on the ceiling, while smiling. At the word sex, he waggled his eyebrows and placed his tongue between his teeth while looking down at her.

“Whatever…”, he pecked her on the lips, “Shall…”, another peck, “We do?”

With the last tiny kiss, he deepened the kiss, pulling her closer. In his mind, flashes of the times he and ‘Kenzi’ had gone down this road decided to sweep through, and while they were good-ish times, he missed the more gentle nature of himself with Mika. Everything was always so gentle, and patient.

Thinking about it, he picked her up, wrapping her legs around his waist with a giggle and ran with her over to the bed, with a thud, knowing that Bobby probably heard the noise below them. He cradled her face as he crouched over her on the bed and laughed, “That was loud…”
Dean put on a fake scowl, trying to be as threatening as possible as he clung to her and pressed her nose with his, “Never.”

He let the scowl fall and swept her off her feet a bit, twirling her to the other side of the room, before dropping her with a small kiss on the lips, “But in all seriousness, this is nice. And I don’t even know what I want to do with my day now…with you looking like this.”

He realized how sexual the comment was, and rolled his eyes before nodding his head to the side to say ‘ya know’. And then his smile turned into a devious smirk.

“Bobby hasn’t found a hunt. We haven’t found anything to do. So, what would miss Mika Chambers like to do for the evening, now that our chores are done?”
Cason

Cason sat the stolen phone on the small table by the window, turning in the darkness to stare over at the human on the only bed in the room. He chewed at his lip, as he watched her chest rise and fall, a small tuft of her hair blowing and falling again against her lips. It wasn't in his nature to care for humans, but he did have some weird morals toward other demons. If a demon risked its eternal free life for him, he would owe them until he repaid the same debt. But the Winchesters brought something out in humans or at least found humans with the ability to pull at his 'being a bad demon' side.

He took a deep breath, not needing to sleep, and slowly stepped across the room. As he walked, he was thankful the room was carpeted. He wasn't the best at staying quiet. He approached the edge of the bed and stared down at her for several minutes, before reaching a handout and holding it over her mouth. She was breathing. She was sleeping. He had seen Annabeth sleep plenty of times, and even faked the process himself while with her. But, the action of sleeping still amazed him at times, after all these years of not sleeping.

He sighed, not even really knowing how long someone as tired as Esme would need to sleep. Was she in a coma? Should he try to save her?

As he pondered her mortality, her face scrunched into anger. She jerked a bit and Cason furrowed his eyebrow because this seemed familiar. Without warning, her hand came up to greet his chin as she fought whatever was now making her whimper in her sleep. Grabbing her wrist, he placed it on her chest and tried to hold it there, "Hey. You're having a bad dream...you're..."

He sighed deeply at the relentlessness of the nightmare and stood from the bed, stepping around to the empty side and climbing on. He could still hear her whimpering in the dark as he grabbed at her flailing hands, and pulled her upper body onto his lap, stroking her hair.

"This is going to be annoying...", he whispered, stroking her hair gently. There was nothing to do but wait for the others, or for daylight to come.
