Marathon training started today, and it's just as painful as I expected. Wahh. But I do feel a bit better than I do on my normal run. Pain - Bad. Runners high from a long run? Great.

I twisted my ankle on my run because of a damn pecan and now I think pecan trees in parks should be illegal T_T Good news, it's not broken. Bad news, I have to rest it for a day or two.

Bio

Hi!
You can call me Anna!
I'm a veteran of the old Guild, before the shutdown.
I love Supernatural, and currently, all of my RPs are Supernatural related. Feel free to message me with ideas!

Dean Winchester is me. I am Dean Winchester.

A mom. A wife. A very protective best friend. Pathological People Pleaser. Intimidating due to my patience and general ability to be unbothered.

I'm addicted to working out, running, and generally having an endorphin high. I also tend to be very annoying talking about it, but I'm way more annoying when I'm depressed.

I'm a hopeless Swiftie. So, if you hate her, I wouldn't RP with me, if you like OOC banter. 90% of songs I use as fuel are Taylor Swift deep cuts. Not really any exceptions.

If I currently RP with you, you're basically my best friend and I will protect you with my life. <3

And also, also, because I have super severe ADHD, I tend to ghost on accident. Never be shy to send me a reminder message. I don't get offended!

@FuriePhoenix owns my soul.

Bobby reluctantly chose to follow Mika, causing Dean to take a deep and nervous breath, following behind him. When they stepped into the house, Dean went straight to the couch and sat down next to Mika, which caused Bobby to narrow his eyes again as he leaned against his desk. If they were sitting together, it meant that they both had something to tell him. Were they pregnant? Were they planning to leave?

He leaned back carefully and crossed his arms as Mika started to explain the situation. He nodded about the skinwalkers, figuring that he could call up some of his older guys to go in and see if it was even a case worth fighting, at this point.

However, when Mika got to the part about Dean taking her when he returned to John, Bobby’s frown deepened and his eyes shot to Dean, causing Dean’s hands to come up in front of him defensively, “I can take care of her. You know that. You send us out all the time. And we’ll be staying in the same room. I just have to talk to dad.”

“I don’t even trust YOU with John! How the hell am I supposed to sleep knowing you’re both out there being used as bait, and runners, and god knows what else while with him?!”, Bobby erupted, causing Dean to flinch.

“We’ll take our own cases! I’ll make sure that if Dad comes along, he’s on his own. He would probably prefer it to having to patch me up every other day, anyway, Bobby!”, Dean almost yelled back at him in defense.

“And when he says no? You’re going to tell your dad no? I know you better than you know yourself, Dean Winchester. I don’t believe for a second that you would defy an order. Your daddy tells you to jump and you ask him how high…”, Bobby scolded Dean, and Dean’s eyes turned to the floor in submission. It was partially true. He rarely stood up to John. Hell, it was a big reason why Sam had run off the way he did, when he did. Sam knew he would never get to Stanford, if he didn’t run, because Dean was horrible at taking up for him, with John.

“Usually, no. But she will. And I’ll back her up. I won’t make the same mistakes I made with Sammy.”, Dean almost whispered, causing Bobby’s face to soften. His eyes fell on Mika.

“What in the world makes you want to do this? You know how John is. You know how he feels about you bein’ around, and you want to just throw yourself in front of him and hope he lets you stay?”, Bobby asked Mika, with raised eyebrows.
Dean Winchester

Dean pulled the Impala into a parking space outside of a motel near the town Castiel had sent them to hopefully save. He put the car in park and quickly stepped out, shoving a piece of candy in his mouth that he had snagged from a grab and go at the local gas station. He casually walked over to Mika’s car and opened her door as soon as she was parked, “So, I figure we get to our motel rooms, unload all our crap and then decide the split for interrogation? We need to work fast and get this done, but we have to be smart about it.”

He pulled out a piece of paper he had written some info on that Bobby had called he and Sam about, and turned it so that Mika could see it, “Guy chokes on razorblades in a sealed bucket of candy. Kinda hard to explain, and sounds like witchcraft to me. Or…”

He pulled out one more piece of paper, “Demon omens, all surrounding one building…the high school. I don’t know if they would outright hit us with a full force or not, but if they’re protecting the seal, there’s no telling what’s inside.”

Annabeth

Annabeth leaned over as Dean opened Mika’s door, and stared between the two pieces of paper. She sighed, and raised her hand, “Is there an option three?”

Dean shook his head and shrugged his shoulders, “Alright. So, they really are bringing out all the big guns for this one seal. Great. Do we have any angels on our side?”

Dean shrugged his shoulders, “I don’t really know how all this angel stuff works, but we do have a demon, and a demon nuke. Where are they, anyway?”

Cason

Cason lifted his head, his eyes glazed over in black as the blood poured from his mouth and onto his lap. He laughed wildly, his jaw bone already cracking back into place from the heavy punch, “You’ve obviously never met a Winchester. And oh god, what until they see what you’re trying to do here.”

His eyes raised to stare over at Esme as the demon near her began working on her, to get to him. He watched her hold her own, stifling his own reaction as his arms worked at the ropes that tied him down. As the first blood was drawn from Esme’s lip, Cason flinched, inhaling a breath through his nose, as the demon working on him stepped up and grabbed his jaw roughly, holding his face steady toward Esme.

The second cut against her chest caused Cason to flinch, “Don’t hurt her. She literally has nothing to do with any of this..”

“Oh but she does. See, you’ve grown soft, with the Winchesters. You met this sweet little thing, and because of one tiny bout of helping you keep your PET alive, you’re obsessed with her care. Its deeper than that, isn’t it?”, the demon sneered at him, glancing up to see his partner cut Esme once again. Cason tensed and shook his head.

“No. No, she’s just. You’ve seen her powers. She’s…”

“She’s your PET! Like last time we had to go through this. I don’t want to keep doing this, son, killing humans, trying to teach you a lesson. That’s why we’re gonna do this slow. You’re gonna watch, and then you’re going to go downstairs and explain yourself. Maybe when you come back, you’ll take the hint and kill…that…girl.”, the demon sneered, wincing himself as his partner drove the knife into Esme’s shoulder, and Cason nearly rocked his chair completely forward.

He growled, “Just send me back! Stop! She doesn’t have to die…She doesn’t have to…”

The demon behind him pulled his head back by his hair and threw an entire shot glass of holy water down his throat, causing him to cry out, choking and coughing as the steam sizzled up from his throat.

“Continue.”, the demon muttered, shoving Cason’s head forward as he choked. The demon working Esme over nodded, and thumped the tip of his finger against the knife embedded in her shoulder, with a chuckle.

"C'mon. Give us a good yelp.", he cooed at her, taking the knife between two of his fingers and wiggling it in her skin, as he opened his mouth, eagerly awaiting her reaction.

Cason recovered a bit, spitting a mixture of blood and water onto the ground in front of him as he growled. The demon wiggled the knife a little harder, and Cason pressed his eyes closed, turning his head to the side.
Dean raised his eyebrows as Lexi stated that she had decided to cook for the three of them, to give Sam a break. He hadn’t noticed how much Sam had shouldered, while hew as off in his own drunk world, trying to ignore his problems, and cry them into a bottle of whiskey. He made a mental note to make it up to Sam, himself.

He stepped over toward the fridge and pulled a bottle of water as she continued fixing the food, and spoke about his eating habits over the past few months. Dean quietly wondered what else Sam had told her, and how much she actually knew about him, when he knew so little about her, “I think it looks great so far. Pasta sticks to the ribs, and I smell bacon.”

It was then that Dean realized he was taking a drink of plain water. Not beer or whiskey. It was just water. It was a tiny little glimmer of his old habits peeking through, but his body craved the water so much he had to keep himself from downing the bottle in one gulp. He pulled the bottle down as Lexi apologized for their interaction earlier in the day, and he shook his head, his eyes widening, “if anyone was a dick, it was me. I mean, I’m a little drunker now than I should be right before dinner, but I wasn’t exactly nice. I don’t know how long you’ll wanna stay around here, though…”

He paused, and took another drink of water as he trailed his words off. It was a subtle and polite way of running her off, before he had a chance to get used to her being around. His mind wanted to be mean to her, and shoo her away, and then warn Sam with a fist against bringing girls back to the bunker that he could have a conversation with. He didn’t want to have anyone. He just wanted to be left alone to starve and wreck his liver.

As Lexi turned to the oven and pulled the pie out, sitting it on the counter, Dean’s eyebrows rose once again, “Wait. You made me a pie? You’re asking me to eat dinner with you, and you made me a pie? A girl already after my heart.”

He chuckled, the knot of guilt in his stomach knotting a bit tighter, and his smile fell from his face after a few moments. He nodded his head at her, and shrugged, “But yeah. I’ll stay. This was really cool of you.”
Dean Winchester

Dean raised his eyebrows as Sam began to speak, almost surprised by how easily Sam defended Anna, especially when it came to the demon blood. He had never heard about Cason saving Anna from the woods, after she had run out on them back at the cabin. He turned his gaze from Sam’s and stared out through the windshield, trying to wrap his head around why a demon would save Anna, especially back then, when she was just a scrawny little girl, looking for a running partner.

“All this time. Cason’s been with her this whole time?”, Dean asked as he rolled the words over in his head, trying to make sense of them. As Sam finished explaining himself, Dean sighed and tightened his grip on the steering wheel. He was still bothered by what Castiel said. It was as if Anna was doing something that Sam knew better to facilitate, not some fluke.

“Well she’s your problem. If she screws up and goes dark side, that’s on you. I’ll load the gun.”, Dean muttered with another sigh. He turned his head to Sam, “And I know she’s terrified of me. She seems like a sweet girl, but man, she’s not all human. Not completely.”

Dean glanced up at the mirror and narrowed his eyes as he heard Nat’s engine roar a bit louder. He glanced out the window, following her up the side of the car as she passed them and leaned over to flip her off right back with a smirk, “I swear she has super human hearing. And way, way too much energy.”, Dean scoffed, and tapped his hand nervously against the steering wheel with a smirk.

Annabeth

Anna looked down at her phone and tapped it on her knee nervously as Sam’s text back was delayed. She glanced up through the windshield and noticed that she could see his hands rising with open palms and falling as he spoke with Dean. She sighed and simply watched his movements, and body language, realizing that Dean was likely asking about the situation with the demon blood.

As if Dean didn’t hate her enough, now he had a reason. She was not only a non-related psychic for him to look at like a freak, when he didn’t feel like he was allowed to with his own brother, but now she had drank demon blood, and come straight back to the house with the rest of them. Anna stared down at her phone and flipped it around in her lap, worried about what Sam was being forced to defend.

However, when Nat raced around Dean’s car, and ended up in front of him for a moment, she noticed that Dean flipped her off and seemed a lot quieter, which caused her to sigh. She giggled quietly at Mika’s words and shrugged her shoulders, “I don’t know. You get away with quite a bit, being the girlfriend and all.”

She tapped Sam’s name on her phone and typed out a short message.
”Are you okay? I get nervous when you talk with your hands <3”

Cason

Cason listened to what was going on around him, and he tried to listen for Esme’s voice specifically, to make sure she was okay. His mind feared the worst, every time she went quiet, even though he could hear the demons talking to her. However, when the demon hissed and began talking about Esme’s demon nuke powers, Cason’s eyes widened behind the bag, “You might want to let her go. He’s not kidding. He’s not kidding, she’ll kill us all.”

They didn’t seem to listen to him, as the demon holding him just held him tighter trying to figure out what to do with Esme in her current state. The cry of pain shook him to his core, as he realized Esme was hurting someone with her bare hands, a show of being able to control her powers a bit better than she had the first time they manifested in front of Cason.

At Esme’s threat of nuking the entire group, Cason smirked menacingly behind the bag over his head, also taking in the fact that Esme was now defending him. His hope was short lived, when he heard a gross impact of Esme’s head hitting the side of the car. He flinched heavily, and called out to her, “Esme?! I told you not to hurt her! You son of a bitch! I’ll kill all of you!”

As he screamed at them, the demon holding him drug him kicking and screaming toward his car, and shoved him in the backseat, slamming the door. Cason took a deep breath, trying his hardest to vanish from the back seat and out of the car, but he couldn’t. He could only assume there was a devils trap painted somewhere around him that kept his powers from working.

The drive wasn’t long, and before Cason was removed from the car, the demon holding him hostage beat him until he was unconscious, bloodying his nose and eyebrow in the process. As Cason woke up, he was tied to a chair, his arms and legs tied painfully with something that burned. He could smell his skin sizzling as he attempted to struggle against the ropes.

Suddenly the bag was ripped from his head, and his breath caught in his throat, as he stared across at Esme. His own injuries were nothing in his mind, but the bruise that had formed on Esme’s face was something different, and it hit him in the rage center of his brain.

“What the hell do you want?! What ever it is, she has nothing to do with it. You can let her go!”, He called out to the demon that was now circling him with what looked like an iron knife. The man was wearing thick leather gloves, and held a steel thermos in the other hand as he circled Cason like a zoo animal, “Let her go. You can have any piece of me you want. Just don’t hurt the girl.”

“Nah. See? This reaction from you? It’s the exact reason why my friend is definitely…going to hurt…your little love.”, the demon sneered, tossing a splash of holy water into Cason’s face. Cason cried out in pain as the holy water hit his eyes and he lowered his head, growling and groaning, “Besides, she’s a lot easier to hurt with our fun little tools than you are. Might be fun to see how long a human can last under intense interrogation. She’s WORTHLESS! Just like the worthless piece of traitor scum that she’s following straight to Hell.”

“If you’re talking about Anna. She’s with a Winchester, now. What do you expect me to do?!”, Cason practically pleaded with the man as the other demon in the room stepped up close to Esme.

“Kill him? Do what you were asked to do? You defected! You decided you loved the humans! They’re just meat sacks. Did you learn nothing from the teachings of Lucifer? All that time in Hell and you learned NOTHING!”, the man screamed, punching Cason in the jaw with a loud crack.
Dean squeezed Mika’s hand at her joking back at him, waggling his eyebrows, “Hey now, I’m trying to drive.”

He chuckled the humor calming his nerves a bit as they made their way to Bobby’s. It didn’t take long to get there. The junkyard coming into view almost quicker than he had remembered leaving it. Maybe it was because he was a bit nervous, or maybe it was just because he was also eager to get back. Either way, he pulled through the large steel gates and drove Mika’s car around to the back garage area, pulling it under the awning.

Putting the car in park, he turned to Mika with a smile, “Might as well get this overwith.”

But before he could exit the car, Bobby stepped out into the garage. Dean sighed and stepped out of the car and held his hands up over the roof as he stood with the door open. Bobby raised an eyebrow, “You guys are back awful quick. Is everything okay?”

“Well, not so much. See. I’m gonna cut to the chase, because this conversation is going to last a while, and I have a feeling that this part is the least painful.”, Dean started, placing his hands flat against the roof and then he stepped back from the door and closed it. Walking around the back of the car, he stepped up in front of Bobby and sighed, “We had to leave the case.”

“You what?! You left those people to fight against those…those things?!”, Bobby asked in an exasperated but not screaming voice.

“They were skin walkers and yes. The town is run by skin walkers. We were out gunned and out manned and Mika almost got hurt. This lady came and threatened me, and told me about the rest of the town.”, Dean continued to explain. Bobby huffed, placing both his hands on his hips, “Why don’t the three of us step inside, get a drink…and talk about some things.”

Bobby glanced to Mika and narrowed his eyes, “What sorts of things?”
Dean Winchester

It took Dean nearly an hour of driving to finally confront Sam about the demon blood issue. He took a deep breath, the silence becoming too much as the only sound in the car was the faint sound of the radio, and the odd text tone from Sam’s phone, when Annabeth texted him. Tightening his grip on the steering wheel, Dean glanced over at Sam.

“Do you have anything you wanna tell me? And don’t…say nothing. An angel had to tell me that the little lady that just so happened to show back up into your life after nearly fifteen years…is drinking demon blood? And she shows up with a pet demon, who everyone is just super smitten with. C’mon Sam.”, Dean started, way more aggressively than he would originally had planned, “What do you know about her, since she’s been away? You knew her for what…a day?”

Cason

A little over an hour into the drive, Cason pulled up to what appeared to be a road block, and he frowned. There were cop cars blocking the road, and no formal signage or any sort of tint as to what they were checking for. As he pulled up to the blockage, an officer turned toward the car and smirked, stepping up to the driver’s window.

“Is there a problem officer?”, Cason asked as he rolled the window down carefully, only enough that the officer could speak to him, if he wanted to. The officer smirked and tapped on the window one more time.

“I’m gonna have to ask you to step out of the car. Um…the girl too.”, he spoke clearly, leaning down to peer over at Esme, asleep against her window. Cason turned his head toward Esme, and frowned, turning back to the cop with the same frown.

“We’re kind of in a hurry. So, if you don’t mind.”

“I’m only going to ask one more time, traitor.”, the Cop’s words trailed off into a sneer and his eyes flicked to black as he pulled the door open and grabbed Cason by his collar, dragging him out of the car and onto the pavement. Another officer walked around to Esme’s side, and did the same, pulling her against his chest.

“Don’t hurt her! Don’t hurt her…”, Cason called out as he was wrenched to his feet and quickly handcuffed, “Just…do whatever you feel you need to, to me. But don’t hurt her. Dean Winchester! He’ll come for her…”

“Well isn’t that just an interesting twist. A failed traitor and the teeny tiny blonde sidekick that just happens to be Dean Winchester’s…girlfriend?”, the Cop took a deep breath of air through his nose and raised his eyes toward the sky, “It’s a good day, boys.”

Esme disappeared from Cason’s vision as a cloth bag was quickly thrust over his head, and he was pulled roughly toward one of the police cars, barely able to keep up with the quick steps as he stumbled.

Bobby Singer

Not long after the kids left, Bobby’s phone buzzed and he picked it up. Reading through the odd text message from Ellen, he furrowed his brow and scooted back in his chair, grabbing a fresh bottle of scotch from the shelf behind him. Leaning back to the desk, he called her immediately, holding the phone up to his ear and poured a small glass of Scotch.

When he heard the other side of the phone pick up, he sighed, “Okay. You wanna run all that by me again, in English this time? And tell me what the hell you want me to do about it? I just had a house full of hunters. Your timing is impeccable, darlin’.”
Dean opened the door to his room and shut it quickly, leaning his head against the cold wood. He fought his face as it twisted into a pitiful scared expression and his breath caught somewhere in between his lungs and his throat in a loud sob. He hadn’t been able to say Mika’s name out loud for weeks. Every time her name slipped off his own lips, an invisible force would punch him in the stomach, and his head would race through memories that he tried to repress with alcohol.

Hearing Sam’s voice utter her name was almost worse, as if the universe wouldn’t let him escape the nightmares. It was almost as if he was meant to suffer. He hyperventilated for a few moments, his face pressed against the door as he cried, trying to get enough of it out of his system to at least move to his bed, and then he wrenched himself from the door and stepped over to sit on his bed.

Sitting the bottle of whiskey on the bedside table, he unscrewed the top, and brought the bottle to his lips with no glass, taking a long drink as if he was dying of thirst. He dried his mouth, using the back of his wrist to dry both eyes and took a deep breath.

“You’re okay. C’mon. Get it together.”, he grumbled to himself.

After a few hours, Dean could vaguely smell food cooking in the kitchen. Typically, Sam brought him sandwiches and the odd beer to sit outside his bedroom door, but he didn’t usually cook anything. Dean furrowed his brow as he stood from his bed, contemplating whether or not Sam was trying to form some sort of weird grief intervention, and had planned to butter him up through his stomach.

He carefully stepped back toward the door with a shuddered sigh, and opened it, stepping out into the hallway. The smell only got stronger as he entered the open space of the hall, and he furrowed his brow even deeper. Walking out into the office, Dean walked down the steps through the War Room, and didn’t look around. He just went straight to the kitchen.

When he stepped into the large kitchen, he raised his eyebrows, seeing Lexi standing there, “You’re um…you’re still here. And you’re…cooking dinner?”

Dean stepped further into the kitchen, and got a better glance at Lexi. He had just enough alcohol in his system to make him feel a little less guilty for taking in her features, and he realized that the reason he had felt guilty, earlier in the evening, was because she really was attractive. She carried herself like someone he would at least give time to, and hang out with…and she was wearing his apron.
Dean raised his chin in a slow nod as Sam explained away why Lexi was there. He pursed his lips, believing his brother, deep down. Sam didn’t connect with people on the same level as Dean, especially the opposite sex. He tended to take them under his wing, sometimes, and if they were pretty enough and Sam was distracted enough, he would bring them home for some fun. But judging by how stressed Sam seemed, and offended at his question, Lexi wasn’t one of those women.

He leaned against one of the long tables of the office area, and crossed one leg over the other, watching his brother closely. As Lexi stood from her chair and randomly asked for the bathroom, Dean couldn't help but feel a slight pang of guilt, on top of his already aching stomach. He watched her closely, as she strolled away from the table and down the winding hallway of the bunker, to find the bathroom.

“I don’t think she likes me.”, Dean muttered softly, glancing down at the coffee mug in his hand. But Sam began speaking again and that pang of guilt in Dean’s stomach deepened at hearing that her situation was very similar to his own. She was just better at dealing with it, after the time she had spent alone. He took a deep breath and stepped away from the table.

“She seems pretty well adjusted for someone who lost their fiance. Or maybe I’m just not…”, he couldn’t finish his words as that knot in his stomach tightened once again, almost pushing all of the breath from his lungs as he stood. He cleared his throat to stifle the tears that almost welled up in his eyes, and pushed completely away from the table.

“Apologize to her for me? And call me for dinner.”, he said simply, strolling back toward the hall as he blinked away a couple of tears. He really felt like a mess. He usually handled grief so well, considering that losing people wasn’t exactly something he hadn’t become accustomed to. But Mika was someone he had made his life work to take care of. He saw her as almost immortal, unbreakable. She was supposed to outlive him, and go on to have a happy and normal life after he died.

Honestly, she wanted the same thing for him, as much as he could manage. Yet, here he was, day drinking and eating when he remembered to, or when Sam actually cooked something for himself. He hadn’t showered in days, and sleep came when it came. Some nights, he was able to go to sleep without nightmares, because he was so black out drunk that his body had no energy to muster dreams. Other nights, he saw her face. He went over her death, and watching her body burn in her funeral. And he would wake with a start, and go through the cycle again: wake up, drink, munch on something, and drink until he passed out.

Dean walked slowly down the hallway, his feet shuffling as he stayed close to the wall. Sometimes that knot in his stomach turned into what Castiel had so bluntly stated as: Panic attacks. They brought him to his knees, and he was half afraid that he would have one right there in the hallway, and Sam would have to come and pick him up, again. Taking a deep breath, he clutched the whiskey bottle tighter, and kept walking.
Dean dropped her hand, stepping around to the back of her car. He popped the trunk open, and tossed their bags in, taking a deep breath at how lucky they had managed to get on this super failed hunt. He smirked as one of his jackets caught his eye, and he reached into the trunk and pulled it, leaving behind the small duffel that it had covered. Holding it in his hand, he shut the trunk and walked around to the passenger side of the car.

“And for my best girl.”, he teased, shaking the jacket out roughly, before stepping up close to Mika’s back. He draped the shoulders of the old leather jacket over her shoulders, and leaned in to place a soft kiss against the back of her neck, “And if you call me sweet, I swear to God I will pull the car over…”

He chuckled and reached down to unlock her door. Once unlocked, he pulled it open, and held his hand against the top of the door frame to give her room to sit down in the seat. Once he was happy that her legs were in the car, he shut the door carefully and walked around to the drivers side, instantly looking over at her with a smirk.

“And you always did look better in my clothes than I did.”, he said with a slightly cheerful smile. He started the car, putting it in drive and then brought his hand over to rest against her thigh as he pulled out of the motel parking lot, to head back to what would likely be a very angry Bobby Singer.
Dean sighed, mocking his brother lightly as he walked down the steps slowly. He stopped, just shy of the table and tapped his hand lightly against it, “I have you know that there is water in alcohol, and I happen to remember someone leaving the bunker yesterday, for a run. So, mind your business.”

His eyes landed on Lexi, finally, raising his chin to look down at her. He took in her features, and scanned over her hair, the painful knot in his stomach rearing its head again as he had a stray thought of how pretty she looked. He closed his eyes and shook his head, before opening his eyes with a small forced smile, “Hi Lexi.”

Stepping back from the table, Dean brought a hand to rest over his stomach as the overwhelming panic knot planted itself firmly, and he was reminded of the alcohol he so desperately needed. He started his trek to the kitchen, again, and rolled his eyes at Sam’s comment about his clothes, knowing exactly where his brother was about to go with his sentence, before he broke it off.

“I’m not going anywhere, Sam. Why would I change? I hate doing laundry.”, he called over his shoulder sarcastically. He stepped into the kitchen, and instantly made his way over to the island, where the various bottles of alcohol were neatly stored along the shelves underneath. Spotting yet another bottle of whiskey, he picked it up and cradled it to his chest, before grabbing a coffee mug.

Hanging the coffee mug off one finger, he stepped back toward the war room, strolling across quickly and back up the small flight of stairs to the office area, “What are you guys working on, anyway? I’ve never known you to bring home women. Not that I’m complaining. Have fun while you can, and all that. But is she a hunter?”
