Since Tue wants to talk to Marx and Bunny wants to talk to Matti, I'll have them split up, much to Bunny's shagrin. Is that cool, @Lady Selune@BCTheEntity@Ariamis?
I really should separate the Bunny and Tue parts of my posts, huh?
@13org, Bunny is the one with Matti who made the comment, not Tue. Tue is the one who insisted everyone get along (and has a mild ladyboner for the Vierra)
Tue nodded her head vigorously, before toning it down to a more cool, collected agreeance. How a Hero stopped slaying monsters did sound like quite the interesting story, filled with drama and romance, if his "partner" was anything to indicate. Of course, she was getting ahead of herself. She was supposed to hate humans! Still, she could rationalize her behavior as reconnaissance for a pawn she was planning on manipulating.
Bunny was off on her own, studying the flying human. He darted around the building, making notes in his little book, before Bunny's charm got the better of him and he had to turn his head. An amused smile was shot at her as he asked why she was interested in him. "I'm a sucker for a hardworking man." Bunny replied slyly with a dry grin.
Unfortunately, before the two got a chance to talk more, some undead were making a ruckus down below. That was another reason why she was up here, having these humans and monsters together was a powderkeg waiting to burst. Bunny wanted to be at a vantage point so if things went south she had the high ground. Instead of keeping her high ground though, Bunny hopped down off the roof, comfortably onto Matti's shoulder, just as he had finished his jab.
Tuesday turned to face the woman who had insulted everyone so, hearing all the witty retorts she soaked in as a result of her insolence. Everyone else ganging up on her seemed rather uncouth but, she seemed unaffected. All she seemed to care about was her apparent friendship with the other "undead," the woman Tue thought was both human and very alive. Well, it didn't matter. Now was a chance to show her stuff. "Miss Lily! I will call you by that instead of your full name, as it is such a mouthful!" Tue shouted hammily. "As the next Demon Lord, I will not be forced to spit out such long words so often! Now, I command us all to be nice to eachother, and get along." Tue ended, folding her arms haughtily. Yes, clearly that was very intimidating.
"I'd suggest you not be my enemy." Bunny added on, now comfortably taller and surprisingly threatening. She didn't pull out a knife for effect, being so close to Matti and not wanting to scare him off. Instead she simply stared at the Lich with her burning eyes, obviously aching for the conflict to stop entirely.
Tue smiled a bit at the ridiculously rundown building. Reminded her of the believer's temple. It had a sort of charm that only an object or place so worn down could truly have. Bunny, peeking out of her partner's bag but still, as to not disclose her true demonic nature, thought much more inline with everyone else; it was terrible. The place was a crapsack frankly, and even though she was expecting something bad, this was far below her expectations for the place. She was surprised it was still standing and not a pile of rubble they were going to work out of. Hell, that may have been preferable.
Tue pulled herself closer as introductions began. First there was Niel and a Shoggoth, both of whom had arrived early apparently. Bart wasn't here, according to them. He had left to hopefully get some furniture, since the inside was absolutely bare. That harshed even Tue's opinion on the building. Looters must've gotten to it. Ah well, that just meant she didn't have to move any furniture to replace it with something better looking! Not that appearances mattered of course... But still, it would be nice to have an attractive guild.
The next people to introduce themselves were a human, a mask(?), and a half-ogre. Both of the possible humans were quite cordial in their introductions, but the half-ogre seemed much more entertaining. She was even traveling with a little companion, though that one may not have talked. The guild's doctor and financial manager was not very interesting to either Tue or Bunny, but the two men who introduced themselves next were quite interesting.
An attractive young man with a rabbit's ears plastered upon his head introduced himself. He seemed sensitive, definitely cute, and was apparently the only male of his kind. Tue had no issue trying to help him with that, and she would need a concubine for her new empire...
The other man was entirely human, as far as either of them could tell. Though his compliment didn't give Tue the vapors or anything, she was a fan of his showboat-y, flirtatious persona. Bunny wasn't particularly tied to any one person, save the man named Matti, who seemed entirely devoted to his job and she was definitely going to need his medicinal help in the coming future.
The most interesting man was the last to introduce himself, certainly. He gave off an aura of doubt, and by the way he stared at Tue and even Bunny, he knew they were both demons. He also mentioned that he was the Hero, the human destined to slay the demon lord. Tue and Bunny were quite surprised at this. Must have been how he knew they were both demons just at a glance. Tue would definitely have a word with him later about collaborating on taking down the succubus, while Bunny would avoid him like the plague.
Anywho, it seemed like there was an open spot for introductions, so Tue and Bunny made theirs. "Hey, hello. I'm Tue, and I'm seeking to become stronger. This is Bunny." Tue said, pointing behind her to the living doll resting in her bag. Bunny seemed visibly annoyed for a moment, before deigning to reveal herself. "This doesn't seem like a trap, I suppose. We're blades for hire. Mostly assassinations and blitz strikes. We're at the service of the guild for now." Bunny explained, before hopping up and out of the bag, high enough to reach the roof. Once there, she simply watched Matti work, intently. While this was going on, Tue got closer to Mark. "Hello Mr. Catchanale, you're the hero who is going to slay the new demon lord, yes?"
Equipment: Aside from standard school supplies, Kazou frequently carries with him a pocket knife from an old delinquent friend, and a recently bought top of the line smartphone.
Skills: Kazou is quite the quick learner, and likes to play games when he can be bothered. Unfortunately, since he can't very often, he doesn't have many practical skills.
Personality: Kouza is that kid who never does anything in class. He can been seen sleeping, doodling, checking his phone or even staring into space, but often he's not working. Due to a mixture of depression, laziness, and lethargy, Kazou often just can't be bothered. He also makes no attempt to interact with others, due to anxiety over their reaction to his mental issues. When interacted with, he often makes many deprecating comments on the state of the world in a joking manner, and is general very jokey and not very serious at all to hide his true feelings. When alone he is often very reminiscent of his childhood, and his junior high years.
Biography: Kazou would regard his childhood as "happy." Then he was too stupid to see the heavily strained relationship between mother and father. His relationship with his sister was "filled with scuffles" instead of hatred. He found wonder and joy in games. Though his family soon had to begin moving due to his father's job, and how little it paid. This proved to create a good excuse in Kazou's mind to run away from his problems; all problems could be solved by relocating in his mind.
In junior high, Kazou's father found a more stable job and Kazou himself found with a great set of friends. He felt genuinely very happy being around them, even if they were a bit strange and a bit silly. To him, the group fit together like a glove, and they hung out as much as possible. Or at least, in the beginning it felt like that. Near the end of his last year of junior high Kazou began drifting apart from the group and over the summer they never even talked. Fearing his friends had left him, he left too. His father was thinking of taking a job opportunity in Shikatsu, and Kazou expressed interest in following his father there, without his mother or sister. His father agreed to it.
This transfer to his new school, "Uchima Senior High," has proven a terrible idea. This exile from his friends has triggered a deep depression which Kazou currently can't escape from. He has made almost no friends and his grades are failing. Negative reactions to his down state have taught him not to really interact with people much and he knows, or at least believes, he can't talk to his father about his predicament. For a full year now he's been suffering, attempting half-heartedly to get out of his stupor. Maybe soon, some adventure or friends will fall into his lap. Apparently this old school has a history of odd stuff, or so he's heard.
Theme:Heaven's Night Battle:Morituros Persona Name: Oedipus Appearance: Oedipus is a legless wooden puppet, shrouded in a toga pinned at the waist. In one of it's spike-fingered hands it wields a bloodied blade. It's face is featureless, save it's wide-brimmed traveler's hat, and a flowing length of gauze covering where the being's eyes would be. At the eye sockets are crimson stains that seem to leak down Oedipus's face. On it's back are the wings of a falcon. Traits
A mask infused with demonic energy (either through ritual, being left in a Demon realm for a long time, or being worn by a demon for a long time) will manifest a body to cut out the middleman (or woman) and entertain people themselves. Most of these Masks become erotic dancers, seducing men through plays and shows. However, some are more influenced by the character their mask is based on or those who wore it and will take on more unique personalities. Some don't even seek out husbands depending on the character the mask was.
Magic/Abilities: Masks have a few abilities relating to their want to be a one-man show. Being performers naturally they're great at dancing (and by extension, dodging.) Their magical abilities include creating illusions of sight and sound, as well as temporary cloning. These clones are just loose manifestations of Mana and can be shattered quite easily. They also can't be more than 30 ft. away from the Mask, nor can they speak. Being "born" in the Moon kingdom, Tue is the owner of a true-flintlock rifle. She's proficient in reloading and decently accurate, but she prefers using her blade instead. She isn't very good with it frankly, she knows a few Iaijutsu techniques and basic single blade sword-fighting, but that's about it.
Living dolls possess two major abilities, disguise and charm. Bunny is obviously a pretty convincing pass for a regular old rabbit doll, allowing her numerous stealth opportunities when combined with her size and speed. All Dolls also have the ability to charm their opponents. Even those who aren't attracted to women will inherently like and trust Bunny, and she can dial up the ability to put the enemy in a state where they won't attack her for a bit. Bunny specifically is incredibly fast, just able to be seen by the human eye, and quite dextrous. She also has numerous pocket knives, and great accuracy with them.
Personality: Tue is an actor, true and true. She's dramatic, a bit flamboyant, and loves to please. This isn't how she wants to be, however. As the reincarnation of Tyr, she aches to be strong-willed, and an enforcer of her rule. She emulates these personality traits as well as she can muster, which is not much. Though she may try and act tough, truly she has no problem with humans, and only wishes that she not be treated as a second class citizen. When asking for "love" she will often use her natural dancing skill, and will not feed without consent.
Bunny is violent. Being created as a weapon and tool to ward off demons, she is a natural born killer. She doesn't really understand others can't just be sewn up like she can and is very ruthless in combat. She's also quite quiet and doesn't trust humans very much. Despite this, she does want to love and be loved, and she wears her heart on her sleeve. Though she is used to often living on starvation rations, she is known to occasionally hold up men for a meal.
Background: There once was a family in the Moon Kingdom, a husband, wife, and a child. On the child's 5th birthday, they received a gift; a small doll of their favorite animal, a rabbit. This rabbit meant a lot to them, they loved it so and the family was happy. As time went on, the father grew more and more paranoid. The city officials were off fighting wars at the borders, who would protect them from the demons in the slums when they might attack? The father took measures into his own hands.
Conscripting the aid of the most trustworthy demon he could find, the father turned his child's wondrous plaything into a tool, and a weapon. Demons were naturally territorial, and were discouraged from entering homes inhabited by other demons. The bunny doll was now a Living Doll, simply dubbed "Bunny."
Their relationship started out rocky, certainly. It was common knowledge that demons natural exerted demonic energy. This corrupting force was a bad influence, especially on children. For a while, the father kept the child and Bunny separated, ensuring that she wouldn't turn his son into an Incubus. He began relaxing his terms eventually, and the two were happy playing with each other when the neighbors weren't around.
Bunny was not perfect, as she will openly admit. One night, as the father and a friend of his were fighting, things seemed they were going to get violent. Bunny, always vigilant, attempted to break up the situation. With knives. Luckily the man was left alive, but the family's demon had almost killed a man. If they ever had any hope of being accepted by their community, they had to get rid of her. In a remote edge of a poor, poor city lie a community. A cult, dedicated to an ex-demon lord, Tyr. A demon dressed in black who ruled silently, and with an iron fist. All that remained of him was a simple mask he often wore, so the cult worshipped it, thinking it could bring the second coming of their leader, a new demonic messiah. Over time, as a tiny bit of demon energy poured into it each day, their wish would come true.
As one day the mass was giving thanks to their lord, the mask began to shake violently. As Mana exerted from it and swam around it a woman's body formed from the mask. Their lord had been reborn. Quickly the entire cult was called to witness their new savior, who would become the demon lord and slay the humans once again. The just-made woman was overcome by emotion their actions, and asked them to stop. They did, without hesitation.
Being unaware of what was going on, the head priestess handed her their book, which chronicled Tyr's actions and what was prophesied to happen when he was reborn. As Tue, the name the cult had given her as the new Tyr, read over the book, she was worried. She had no interest in replicating these actions, new hatred for humans, and she was not the stoic, strong leader they asked her to be. She had to become more powerful before she could truly become this messiah they asked of her. She told her believers that she would need to travel the country to regain her connection with the old lord, and set off as a wandering swordsman. Along the way, she encountered a small doll by the side of a river.
Sitting by the side of a stream, the two met, Tue drawn in by Bunny's Charm. They talked for a bit and, being sucked in by Bunny's personality and story being so close to the Warrior From the East's, she offered to journey with the doll, seeing as Tue could pass as human quite easily. Bunny agreed to, having nowhere else to go, and the two began forming a genuine bond. For a year or so they simply got by as sellswords and vagrants, but the two got much too cocky. As the sun rose on the first day of their stay at the border of Vajro, the two were awoken from their sleep by the city guards. They had been discovered.
Through a mix of Tue's illusions, Bunny's ruthlessness, and luck, they got out of their with but a scratch on them. News spread quickly of this amazing feat, which brought their names to Bartholomew. He sent them an invite, and they both accepted.
