@BCTheEntity I just read over Mark's CS, and you mentioned he was bringing along Syzi. Were you planning on making her a CS, or is she a supporting character?
@BCTheEntity Yo dude, nice to see you. Get ready for Mr. Hero to meet the "next demon lord." I'm gonna finish my Backstory and personality real quick here now that I know more on the Moon Kingdom.
Decided to do both my characters in the same tab since they're going to be closely intertwined. Can't decide much on Tue's personality or the two's backstory since I don't know too much on the Moon Kingdom as of yet, but I'm sure I'll get onto making both of those parts soon. For now I just wanted to have a proof of concept and see if either were over or underpowered.
Tue & Bunny
Race:Mask/Living Doll
A mask infused with demonic energy (either through ritual, being left in a Demon realm for a long time, or being worn by a demon for a long time) will manifest a body to cut out the middleman (or woman) and entertain people themselves. Most of these Masks become erotic dancers, seducing men through plays and shows. However, some are more influenced by the character their mask is based on or those who wore it and will take on more unique personalities. Some don't even seek out husbands depending on the character the mask was.
Magic/Abilities: Masks have a few abilities relating to their want to be a one-man show. Being performers naturally they're great at dancing (and by extension, dodging.) Their magical abilities include creating illusions of sight and sound, as well as temporary cloning. These clones are just loose manifestations of Mana and can be shattered quite easily. They also can't be more than 30 ft. away from the Mask, nor can they speak. Being "born" in the Moon kingdom, Tue is the owner of a true-flintlock rifle. She's proficient in reloading and decently accurate, but she prefers using her blade instead. She isn't very good with it frankly, she knows a few Iaijutsu techniques and basic single blade sword-fighting, but that's about it.
Living dolls possess two major abilities, disguise and charm. Bunny is obviously a pretty convincing pass for a regular old rabbit doll, allowing her numerous stealth opportunities when combined with her size and speed. All Dolls also have the ability to charm their opponents. Even those who aren't attracted to women will inherently like and trust Bunny, and she can dial up the ability to put the enemy in a state where they won't attack her for a bit. Bunny specifically is incredibly fast, just able to be seen by the human eye, and quite dextrous. She also has numerous pocket knives, and great accuracy with them.
Personality: Tue is an actor, true and true. She's dramatic, a bit flamboyant, and loves to please. This isn't how she wants to be, however. As the reincarnation of Tyr, she aches to be strong-willed, and an enforcer of her rule. She emulates these personality traits as well as she can muster, which is not much. Though she may try and act tough, truly she has no problem with humans, and only wishes that she not be treated as a second class citizen. When asking for "love" she will often use her natural dancing skill, and will not feed without consent.
Bunny is violent. Being created as a weapon and tool to ward off demons, she is a natural born killer. She doesn't really understand others can't just be sewn up like she can and is very ruthless in combat. She's also quite quiet and doesn't trust humans very much. Despite this, she does want to love and be loved, and she wears her heart on her sleeve. Though she is used to often living on starvation rations, she is known to occasionally hold up men for a meal.
Background: There once was a family in the Moon Kingdom, a husband, wife, and a child. On the child's 5th birthday, they received a gift; a small doll of their favorite animal, a rabbit. This rabbit meant a lot to them, they loved it so and the family was happy. As time went on, the father grew more and more paranoid. The city officials were off fighting wars at the borders, who would protect them from the demons in the slums when they might attack? The father took measures into his own hands.
Conscripting the aid of the most trustworthy demon he could find, the father turned his child's wondrous plaything into a tool, and a weapon. Demons were naturally territorial, and were discouraged from entering homes inhabited by other demons. The bunny doll was now a Living Doll, simply dubbed "Bunny."
Their relationship started out rocky, certainly. It was common knowledge that demons natural exerted demonic energy. This corrupting force was a bad influence, especially on children. For a while, the father kept the child and Bunny separated, ensuring that she wouldn't turn his son into an Incubus. He began relaxing his terms eventually, and the two were happy playing with each other when the neighbors weren't around.
Bunny was not perfect, as she will openly admit. One night, as the father and a friend of his were fighting, things seemed they were going to get violent. Bunny, always vigilant, attempted to break up the situation. With knives. Luckily the man was left alive, but the family's demon had almost killed a man. If they ever had any hope of being accepted by their community, they had to get rid of her. In a remote edge of a poor, poor city lie a community. A cult, dedicated to an ex-demon lord, Tyr. A demon dressed in black who ruled silently, and with an iron fist. All that remained of him was a simple mask he often wore, so the cult worshipped it, thinking it could bring the second coming of their leader, a new demonic messiah. Over time, as a tiny bit of demon energy poured into it each day, their wish would come true.
As one day the mass was giving thanks to their lord, the mask began to shake violently. As Mana exerted from it and swam around it a woman's body formed from the mask. Their lord had been reborn. Quickly the entire cult was called to witness their new savior, who would become the demon lord and slay the humans once again. The just-made woman was overcome by emotion their actions, and asked them to stop. They did, without hesitation.
Being unaware of what was going on, the head priestess handed her their book, which chronicled Tyr's actions and what was prophesied to happen when he was reborn. As Tue, the name the cult had given her as the new Tyr, read over the book, she was worried. She had no interest in replicating these actions, new hatred for humans, and she was not the stoic, strong leader they asked her to be. She had to become more powerful before she could truly become this messiah they asked of her. She told her believers that she would need to travel the country to regain her connection with the old lord, and set off as a wandering swordsman. Along the way, she encountered a small doll by the side of a river.
Sitting by the side of a stream, the two met, Tue drawn in by Bunny's Charm. They talked for a bit and, being sucked in by Bunny's personality and story being so close to the Warrior From the East's, she offered to journey with the doll, seeing as Tue could pass as human quite easily. Bunny agreed to, having nowhere else to go, and the two began forming a genuine bond. For a year or so they simply got by as sellswords and vagrants, but the two got much too cocky. As the sun rose on the first day of their stay at the border of Vajro, the two were awoken from their sleep by the city guards. They had been discovered.
Through a mix of Tue's illusions, Bunny's ruthlessness, and luck, they got out of their with but a scratch on them. News spread quickly of this amazing feat, which brought their names to Bartholomew. He sent them an invite, and they both accepted.
Hmm. Originally I was just going to make one character but I might make two. Seeing Bloody Bunny has inspired me to write on two demonesses aspiring to become recognized as the great warriors they know they are!
The creepy stare birdbrain gave Kazou made his heart rise into his throat. She gazed at him almost as if he was food begging to be devoured. Part of Kazou thought that was slightly hot, but he shut down that part of his brain and began walking towards the bike. All he needed was a little motivation after all; he was the kid who'd jump off a bridge if someone pretended to be his friend, which these people surely were.
Screaming in his head about the awful idea, Kazou scooted onto the bike just behind Hitomi. This was probably the closest he'd been to a woman in a year and she was insane and would in all likelihood get them both killed. Concussions at least; no one here was wearing a helmet. Hitomi could barely reach the damn pedals. Kazou would gloomily take one for the team here.
"You uh, don't reach the pedals. Should I handle that and you steer? Since you know where we're going I mean." Kazou asked. Without an answer he began edging his feet towards those machines of his destruction, but moved his body no closer to the other rider on his bike until she gave him permission to take over the speed. After a response from her, Kazou would ask another question.
