I've got this obsession of having all the statuses on my profile page with more than 2 likes. I know that when the wailing winds of darkness come for me, these thumbs up will keep them away!

Side note

Don't write villanelles. They're terrible and hard and make me sad.
And a villanelle! Google it to find out the restrictions, but I think I followed them all.

Because I cannot face my death today,
Between scant hope and dire, repining hours
I will continue living anyway.

When fateful stars spiral, dance in dread ballet
I live, far from bless'd sanctuary tower
Because I cannot face my death today.

Into Sisyphean labors most hours fray
But since a few with love and life flower,
I will continue living anyway.

With envenomed thorn, the Tree of Life arrayed.
I grasp wither'd fruit, joy, from glum bower
Because I cannot face my death today.

Sorrows fall in indiscriminate, vile rays.
Yet finding joy 'mid that terrible shower,
I will continue living anyway.

While I tremble, my resolve with fear flay'd,
And am in the reach of earthly power,
Because I cannot face my death today,
I will continue living anyway.
My problem isn't people falling behind. My problem is people jumping ahead.

(akaya I"m not picking on you, this is just the first example I found)

She waited for everyone to respond before they all headed out or at least the ones that choose to join.

Nova Hail-Monday Evening- Beacon Academy Ballroom

Nova ended up staying around and hanging out with the trio she had met that day, really enjoying their company even when she wasn't talking much.

That's one person from a group jumping forward in time by six hours and saying what happened with that character with said group for said six hours. I don't know whether @OneWayOut intended us to jump to the ball or not, I'm not judging based on that, what I dislike is that some people decided to immediately jump to it while others stayed back in time. If we're going to have unified time, everyone existing at their own rate when it comes to GM organized events will only lead to chaos.

I'd much prefer people realigning to the main time flow if they fall behind with a short wrap up/flashback than have people jumping ahead of the universe proper. As it stands, having everyone on a supposedly universal time scale but at drastically different hours just breeds confusion and hurts even my Doctor Who logic.

This isn't because I'm lagging, fyi. If I'm totally on the wrong time scale I can wrap stuff up and jump, I just have no idea what the right time scale is.
Short post is short.

Also, something needs to be done about this time scale. It's rapidly getting out of control.

I don't have such a problem with unified time, problem is that it's splitting into three completely different time scales with some already at the ball, some still in the auditorium, some wandering the campus... And some of these people are, technically speaking, existing in multiple time periods at once. It's insanely confusing.

"Yeah, I suppose there isn't much else to do... Still, I wish I knew what was bothering him."

To be completely honest, Martin didn't have much hope for meeting people right now. The way everyone had scattered immediately after the ceremony was over likely meant they would be occupying themselves with friends that were made earlier, while Dawn was writing in her notebook and he was busy being sick. A scarfed girl, short curly haired blonde, and a cat faunus were still here... Other than that, everyone else seemed to have vacated the premises as rapidly as was possible.

"You want to go talk to them," he asked, indicating the group, "or find something to do until the party?"
Stress levels dropped one iota. I'll whip off a quick thing, then get back to it.

Is the 9-11 page paper at least Double spaced? Double space makes fluffing stuff easier.

yeah i think so

it's such a wackass paper though

like, it's a collection of short essays on every little aspect of the story, which makes it somewhat easier, but also a lot harder to fluff because I have to be specific.
I'm working on a post, I'm just very sick and very busy.
@OneWayOut: 9-11 page paper, three 500 word essays, presentation on the US Postal Service, all due monday, and the dread of this stupid cold getting worse because the one my girlfriend has totally incapacitated her today,

it's a fun time XD
I'll reserve either of the two open roles then. You pick XD
