Bio

So... Bio's are a thing now. Fancy.

Anywho!
25 y/o guy, currently student and living by myself, yada yada.

Veteran Roleplayer, with over 7-8 years of experience in both Pen & Paper and text based, with minimal LARP Experience. I have a great interest in fantasy settings and tends to dislike Post Apocalypse, or generally anything involving guns and modern weaponry. Gimme a sword and the ability to throw fire, and I'm happy.

I have relatively high standards and find myself somewhat disappointed if my posts are below 500 words, preferring ~1000+ whenever possible (sadly, not always easy). At the same time I expect similar standards from my fellow players. I also have a tendency to play female characters in spite of my being a guy, mainly because I find it more entertaining than playing the big burly guy.

Alright. Time to write Ze Responze. Like Mono said, I would like to have her powers fleshed out a bit more. Examples of what she can do, and so on (Yes, you can go full on Pokémon and have her send out a torrent of fire from her beak). Generally, add a bit more description to her powers, and not just "She can do fire." Same goes for the healing. About the healing, by the way, you can make her healing powers a bit stronger. She is a Phoenix after all, and they are one of the very few Mythics who actually have healing powers, so feel free to make them a bit stronger. You're lacking a bit in the appearance description as well, and while it's "fine," I'd still like to actually get a bit more details. Speaking of: Purple/Violet eyes is a no-go, I'm afraid. It's just not possible for a human to have that eye colour. So flesh out the appearance description (Ethnicity, and such. Where does it look like she's from, based on appearance? My character, Lily, has black hair and dark eyes, and a slightly round face. Add to that a very slim build and you find that all are traits that are very common in Asia. Lily half japanese). Mythic Essence can't be rejected. All humans have magic, but it's like a blob of clay. The Mythic Essence comes in and molds it to a certain shape. Once it is shaped, it can't be changed. Also: All humans are compatible with Mythics, it's just a question of what Mythic they are compatible with. Furthermore, the Shifter Program/Twin Soul Program was started ten years ago, so when Cassie was 10. Her getting wounded in the attack when she was 15 is okay, however. This also means that her parents couldn't have been parts of the research team even before she was born. They would've worked on it in ten years, max. It took only 6 months to complete, after all. Finally (I think) there is her speed. While birds can fly fast, I think you made her a tiny bit too fast. Reduce the gliding speed by 20 km/h (both minimum and max), make the current one its Flight speed (flapping its wings) and keep the Diving Speed as it is. These are all faster than an actual Bald Eagle, but not as ludicrously fast as before. The Demons are supposed to be the Speed Monsters, not the Fae. That should be it, then. Also, +1 bonus point for being the first non-humanoid Shifter :p
Oh, Hi Hanako. Didn't see you there. I think you're in the wrong game ;) Anywho, I'll return later. I've read most but don't have time for the Background. I'll get a reply back to you later today. Hopefully.
Guess who's interested~ (You have a knack for creating Post-Apocs that aren't just "Nuclear fall-out" or something equally dull. You actually spice it up to a point where even a Fantasy Fan can find it interesting xP
It very much is :) You're more than welcome to join us if you want ^^ A little low on players atm (RL stuff happened to the others).
Bumping up. Remember guys, it's Advanced :)
Sleep didn’t come easy to Lily. In fact, she hardly slept that night. Thoughts swirled and darted around in her head, insisting on being brought to the forefront of her mind a dozen times each before they would retreat to the back of her mind. Not even Tsukiko’s gently embracing her from behind as she slept helped. She hadn’t managed to talk to Tsuki yet, having been unable to muster the courage to open up. Far be it from her to be cowardly, but she was so used to guarding the innermost parts of herself that just suddenly doing so seemed completely unfeasible. Toying idly with one of Tsukiko’s tails, she attempted to focus her thoughts. The result was a promise. A promise that she, upon the next morning, would talk about it. Or at least let Tsukiko in on her thoughts a little more than she had done in the past. She deserved that much, at least. --------- Lily awoke to the sound of an incessant beeping. She sometimes cursed that damnable alarm clock, but it was a necessity. Of her and her roommate, she was the one who had trouble getting up, with Tsukiko being the one who was the early riser—surprising seeing as cats were lazy and slept for the majority of the day in most cases. She reached over and hit the clock, silencing it immediately. What followed was a wrestling match between the two sides of her mind; one that wanted to continue sleeping and the other which told her that she had to get up. Eventually, however, the rational part of her mind achieved victory and she sat up, scratching her head, followed by a pitiful attempt to get her hair into some semblance of order with her fingers. There was a noticeable cold spot beside her, the spot where Tsukiko had been sleeping some scant few hours ago. Turning her head she saw the cat-girl sitting on her own bed, patiently brushing her own hair while humming a happy tune. It didn’t take more than a few moments before the brushing ceased its movement and Tsukiko noticed the blank, almost sad stare Lily was sending her way. “What’s the matter?” She asked, tilting her head as she made one final stroke with the brush and deposited beside her on the bed. “You look sad, almost.” “I guess that’s because I am,” she admitted after a few seconds of silence. “Look. There’s… something we need to talk about.” At Tsukiko’s suddenly terrified expression she quickly raised both hands in what she hoped was a calming gesture. “No. I’m not breaking up with you—” Tsukiko calmed down almost immediately “—but it still is serious. At least somewhat… You know how I once told you about how my life used to be before I became a Shifter?” The Cat-girl nodded. “Well, that’s not really all of it. It’s true that I was dirt-poor and both begged and stole to get what I needed, but that’s not the extents of it. I—” she stopped herself at that, somehow finding herself unable to say any more. Several times her mouth opened and closed as if to say something, but every time the only thing she got out was a half formed croak, if anything at all. Without a word Tsukiko moved off of her bed and over beside Lily, wrapping her arms around her in an awkward embrace. She placed a light peck on the raven haired girl’s cheek and continued humming. They sat like that for a while, neither moving nor speaking. In end the it was Tsukiko who broke it. “Just speak when you’re ready, alright?” Lily actually chuckled at that, although it was without much humour. “Just like you. Wanting to help everybody as best you can.” She sighed and, in a sullen voice, continued. “You’ve noticed how I still seem to stuff myself every time we have breakfast, lunch, dinner, whatever right?” Tsukiko nodded. “Well, there’s a… reason for that.” “What… would that be?” Again, Lily sighed, gently extricating herself from the embrace, and creating some distance between the two. Not enough to allow any greater meaning to arise from it, but enough that she could at least look Tsukiko in the eyes. “I keep stuffing myself, I am possessive, and I react violently towards… certain things. Fact of the matter is, Tsuki, I…” She couldn’t bear it. She couldn’t bear to look her in the eye. Diverting her gaze she grit her teeth and forced it out. “Just take your time,” Tsukiko managed to interject before Lily spoke. “I’m still stuck in that world!” She exclaimed, angrily almost. “All around I see rivals, people as low as myself who would sooner kill than go hungry another night. I stuff my face like I do because I’m afraid it’ll be the last time I’ll eat well in my life. I’m afraid of letting you go for too long because some part of my mind tells me that you’ll find someone better than me; someone who isn’t a street rat who doesn’t even know their own mother!” Struck speechless, the only thing Tsukiko could do was listen. She gently entangled her fingers with Lily’s, hoping that the touch would at least do a little to calm her, distraught as she was. She wasn’t quite sure if anything she’d say would be taken the wrong way, so she stayed silent for the time. Lily continued her tirade. “I’m an ass, mostly, no question about that. Why, you ask? Because the same fucked up part of me refuses to believe that they’re not out to take everything I have! So I antagonise them. I piss them off enough that they forget about it and would rather punch me, and then I run; getting them away from what is mine.” She paused, standing up and marching over one of the few patches of bare, wooden wall in their room. She raised her fist and, without a second thought, smashed it into the wall hard enough to crack the skin of her knuckles and make the wound on her chest and shoulder flare up in pain. “I’m afraid, damnit,” she choked out, teeth gritted as she tried to hold back tears. Tears brought forth by the pain rather than her own emotions. “I’m scared shitless that I’m going to lose _everything_ without ever having a chance to avoid it.” Hesitantly, Tsukiko stood up from the bed and walked over to Lily. “It’s alright, Lily. I... “ she swallowed. “I can help you, I—” Lily whirled around, her arm still stretched out. A smear of her own blood decorated Tsukiko’s chin, and her head jerked to the side with the force of Lily’s accidental punch. “You’re not some prince on a white charger who can just ride in and save the day, Tsukiko!” Tsukiko. Not Tsuki. “You can’t change my past, and you can’t magically make it all better—” “But I can be here for you! Now! When you need it!” She took Lily by the shoulders, ignoring the crimson smear on her cheek and pushed her up against the wall, forcing her to stand still. Her slitted eyes served to make the glare she gave Lily even more potent. “You do _not_ live in the streets anymore! I’ve been putting up with it until now, but…” she stopped, blinked, and then sighed. “Lily… You talk about being afraid and scared.” She released Lily, letting her step away from the wall, closer to Tsukiko. “I can’t change the past, Lily. I can’t do anything to stop your parents from abandoning you—” Lily winced at that one and diverted her gaze off to the side, mouth pressed into a thin line “—nor can I prevent whatever else happened to you. All I can do is make you a promise: Whenever, whatever, or whereever it is, you can come to me. If you want to talk I’ll be here. If you want company, I’ll let you share my bed for the night. Whatever it is you need, or want, don’t be afraid to call for help. You’re not alone anymore.” Lily looked insecure for far longer than she was comfortable with, her eyes glistening because something had gotten in her eye—or so she would claim—and lower lip trembling. She didn’t say anything for the first several long moments, finding herself a loss for words. Simple as that. Finally, after a long while, she said something; her voice was quiet as she said it. “There is… one thing. One thing that you may be able to help me with.” One ear flopped to the side as she tilted her head, looking inquisitively at Lily. “What is it?” “I never had a family… will you be it?” A few seconds seemed necessary for the information to compute, but when it did the brown-haired girl lurched forward, wrapping Lily in a tight hug. “We’ll have to decide who’s going to wear the suit first, though.” She chuckled and nuzzled her head in under Lily’s cheek, not for the first time loving the fact that she was just small enough to be able to do that. “But yes. Definitely.” Lily, for her part, was as close to grinning like an idiot as one could be without actually crossing the line. She wrapped her arms around Tsukiko, drawing her in as tightly as she could without pain flaring up from her wounds. “Thanks, Tsuki,” she murmured. She was a long way from recovery, if it was even possible. She knew as well as the next person that letting go, and putting your past behind you was something that took time. It was a long and audacious process, but she had taken the first step at the very least. If anything, a small bandaid had been placed on one big wound. It was far from enough to let it heal completely—if it ever would—but it was a start. "I'm taking the dress, by the way," Lily said after some time. "Aaw. Why? I wanted it?" Lily one hand from behind Tsukiko and poked her in the chest. "I can fill it out better than you can." "...Drat."
**Name** – Theá Éri̱mo **Species** – Alicorn (I never thought I'd actually write that) **Gender** – Female **Coat/Eyes/Mane/Cutie Mark:** She has an aqua green coat that seems to change its nuance ever so slightly depending on where she's standing to better hide her. Her mane and tail are a healthy, nutty brown, both of which are constantly kept in a tight braid (individually of course) which are only ever untied if she decides that she finds a male worthy of being her 'prey'. Her eyes are a dark blue that seems intense at first but is softer than one would think. A quick look on her wings reveals that they are built for speed rather than long flights, though she is easily capable of travelling long distances via flight. They are incredibly large to the point where they poke out a small distance behind her when folded at her sides. Her horn is both long and slender, though it is not even close to reaching the length of Celestia's. It is more similar to Luna's, shorter. Her body is one of typical 'Alicorn design', if one can call it that. Her legs are long and sleek, her barrel small and muzzle slightly elongated compared to the typical pony. Her Cutie Mark is also significantly more intricate than what is seen on mortals, where they may have something as simply as a flower, a shovel, a tart or the likes, hers covers the vast majority of her flank, the lowers point going just a little down the leg itself. The mark portrays a dual image; It is a thick brown arrow pointing downwards, seemingly made of bark. The cock feathers are wider than they should be, and aren't the typical white one would imagine, but a large collecting of beech leaves lying in the shape of the cock feathers. The Cutie Mark is the picture of both an arrow and a tree. ![Here's how she looks](http://th07.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/i/2013/334/2/7/commission__kapuchu_by_greatleonopteryx-d6w9s3g.jpg "enter image title here") **Spheres of influence:** Hunt, Wilderness, Wild Animals and Fertility **Powers and abilities:** A collection of her more signature abilities, including but not limited to: - Her 'basic' attack is conjuring an arrow out of pure energy that she simply fires at her opponent in a straight line. They can wary in strength and number, depending on how much power Theá puts behind the spell. - Can move through the forest and wilderness with almost no difficult and nary a sound, as well as being nigh on invisible when standing still when surrounded by foliage and the likes. - Shapeshifting. She's capable of taking on the form of any wild animal. The only limitation is that said animal has to inhabit the Wilderness, so only the ones that lives in forests, plains, and the likes. Birds, Fish, Insects and so on are beyond her abilities. - Theá can call forth a small number of woodland creatures (non-living, basically puppets or familiars) to aid her in a battle. They have the same abilities as their living counterparts, being no weaker or stronger. The only difference is that they can carry small, verbal messages. - Can sense the presence & species of every creature - but the most skilled at hiding - within a fifty metres radius - A spell that drastically increases her speed, allowing her to move much faster than she usually would be able to. - Other standard spell such as Telekinesis, shields etc. **Seat of Power:** A hunter never settles down. A hunter will go where the prey goes. **Number of followers:** She has never really bothered to keep an exact count, but she estimates her amount of followers to have reached about four thousand. Their numbers range from bounty hunters to nomads that pray for good huntings. The only price she demands is whatever information she can give them about the going-ons of the world. **Divine Blessing:** Being the goddess of the hunt, she has granted the Boon Of The Hunter to her followers. It provides them with sharper eyes and ears, as well as allowing them to move more silently. Doesn't mean that they can't be heard, but they are significantly more difficult to hear when approaching a target. She also offers a addition to the blessing. Being able to move silently and get slightly enhanced sense is not her full blessing. Every single one of her followers is given a choice. They can get the "normal" blessing which leaves out the final part, or the full one. A "full" blessing allows the mortal to not only move silently, see and hear better, but also to consume meat should they be herbivorous. Only a fraction of her followers have taken it, but the ones that have are those she consider her closest followers. **Purpose:** To restore the wilderness to its former glory, stop the needless slaughter and let the natural order of the hunter killing its prey return to its rightful place in the world. In other words: Stop the war, and especially stop the Everfree Liege and Laughing Mare. **Divine Flaw:** Theá's greatest flaw is her extreme stubbornness. She hates to lose and will do anything she can to win. It has often led to violent outcomes. She's also known for trying to seduce both stallions and mares, mortal or not. To her, they are just a different kind of prey. **Other:** - She is extremely patient as any hunter should be, but ruthless once engaged in combat. - She's mostly acts neutral, but is benevolent to those who serve her. Her boon is also freely given to those that bring her the hide or other trophy of a beast, proving themselves as hunters. - Her physical strength is lower than that of other Alicorns, though her speed is far greater. - She is omnivorous, in that she consumes both vegetarian food and meat. - [Her Voice](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LoESWL159GI&list=FLAuPKmiDyhxmjeifFsMAxSw#t=85)
Name: Lily Strider

Age: 23

Sex: Female

Shifter Form: Nine-Tailed Fox

Human Appearance:
Lily is roughly 170 high with a somewhat athletic build with a few muscles, but nothing extraordinary, being visible. It doesn’t take two glances to see that Lily has japanese blood in her veins, though mixed with something western. Her hair is pitch black and reaches absurd lengths, going down past her buttocks, though usually held in a braid. Her eyes are a dark brown—almost black—and peeks out from beneath a pair of equally dark eyebrows, a hard glint almost always visible in them, rarely ever absent. Her lips are prominent, with a rosy colour and noticeable pucker. She's nothing extraordinary when it comes to womanly assets either, being medium both up front and behind—perhaps even less than medium.

Shifter Appearance:

Here's a shameless steal to show what she looks like.

In her human form one might say that she’s decently pretty, but none would deny the fact that she’s a stunning beauty when she Shifts: Jet black hair the same length as before and kept in a braid as well, although there is enough hair to cover where her human ears would be. Her eyes are a striking summer blue with slitted pupils, giving her a slightly feral—and sometimes mischievous—look. Nine white tails extend from behind her, each about as long as she is tall and covering in soft, silky fur. All four of her canines are elongated, each a good centimetre longer than usual, giving her toothy smiles a bit of a dangerous edge to it all thanks to her fangs. It also makes her bites that much more painful, and potentially dangerous. Another thing that should be noted is that, in this form, she is the epitome of feminine beauty in accordance with the legends, with full lips, long eyelashes and so on; something which she's actually rather fond of, if she had to say so herself.

Where her nails are usually kept short for convenience’s sake, they are quite long when she's shifted, with an ever so slight rounded point to them, and coloured a purple-ish blue. Aside from that her hips become wider, as does her bosom become a fair bit larger. Where before her body had been somewhat tough thanks to her developing muscles and athletic lifestyle, they have now softened; giving her a body devoid of hardened muscles but rich with pleasant curves. Her facial structure also changes as well, becoming more sharper and a little angled; more fox-like as opposed to the roundness it had before.

Abilities:
Athletic and flexible, skilled at gymnastics/parkour, and a very fast and agile runner.

Powers:
True to the mischievous and trickster nature of the Kitsune in the legends, Lily's magical skills are focused mostly around illusions, enabling her to trick the senses of those around her; create ghost sounds and touches and make them see things that are not there. The more energy she uses the more powerful the illusions.

She also has a secondary magical gift which allows her to drain life energy from the area around her and use it for various purposes ranging from creating a light source to weaponizing it. The amount of energy she draws from anyone depends on how much they are willing to give, or how much more powerful her will is than theirs. She can freely take from plants and smaller animals, though she has to overwhelm the mind of other sentient beings, or larger animals, to drain theirs, though doing so is forbidden—A rule set in place by Ikari, the Kitsune Teacher.

Background:
Lily has never had an easy life, not by a long shot. For as long as she can remember she has been on the street, without easy access to food or shelter. She never knew her parents and has been forced to steal to survive more times than she can count. Her early life was spent in the company of an elderly person called Max, also a homeless man. For the first several years of her life he took care of her, sharing what food he had between the two of them. She remembers little about him, save that he was kind and patient, and always soothed her whenever she got sad, or cold. One fond memory from her past is one winter night when he gave up his coat for her so that she didn’t freeze.

Alas, fond though that memory may be, it was also what led to his death. He caught a harsh flu and, without money for medicine and no hospitals in the town, got deathly ill and died by the end of winter. She was six years old back then, and it took several years before she finally stopped blaming herself for his death, and realised that his old age was why he had died and not just because he got sick.

The town where she lived, she later found out, was located somewhere in England. She never really bothered to learn the name of it as her mind was more focused on finding food and a place to sleep each night, but staying unaware of her hometown was not quite possible. The town was Lichfield, a small-ish town with around thirty thousand citizens.

Aside from her time with Max, her life was rather uneventful. She scraped together what food and money she could, stole when money was scarce, and hoarded when she had sufficient.

She was a skilled thief. Quick with her fingers, and even quicker on her legs. There were hardly any roof she hadn’t been on, no alley she hadn’t sped through or hidden in when some gang or other criminal chased her. She lived on those skills, and constantly trained with whatever she had at her disposal to stay in shape; to stay quick and agile. It wasn’t always enough, however, as she was cornered from time to time, beaten up and had whatever food and money she had stolen. Life in a small city was never easy, and the multiple bruises she got was proof of that, and even though she often longed to just rob someone blind, hide the money somewhere safe and live a somewhat decent life, she didn’t. Stealing when she had to was something she was had no reservations with doing, but taking more than she needed… she did look down on that, especially those who stole from others who had so little—She wasn’t completely without morals, after all.

The day came, however, when the war erupted and the Shifter Program was started. She had heard, and noticed, the people going around recruiting everyone who would be willing to be test subjects. Lily initially volunteered, but due to her young age they wouldn’t accept her: A 13 year old was not old enough to become a potential soldier, regardless of her zeal. It was her chance for a proper life, a job, a room of her own. A chance for a life where she didn’t have to wonder if she’d go hungry to bed that night, wonder if she had to run from the police yet again for stealing. But they wouldn’t let her.

Seven years went by with her asking every time they came to Lichfield to recruit, but every time they told her no because she was too young. That was until she turned 20, and they returned to Lichfield after three years of absence. She was finally over 18 and, to her relief, they finally let her join. She didn’t hesitate even once about leaving her old life behind.

She was brought to a facility in Spain, the nearest one at the time, and was immediately subjected to test after test, swarmed by humans and Mythics alike, each of them trying to figure what type of creature she was compatible with. The next day came faster than she realised, and the knews were thrust upon her: She was a Kitsune, or Nine Tailed Fox. She was compatible with a Demon Class, specializing in illusions and speed.

She didn’t care much about the news at first, but all the excited voices of the other applicants talking about what kind of Mythic they were compatible, and how much they wished to be able to test the abilities they would get… It infected her, so little by little she was getting excited as well, wondering how she’d look and how many tails she’d get. One of the things about Kitsune, she’d heard some of the people in the facility say, was that they were one of the few where you could estimate their power by their number of tails. Usually a Shifter only had between four to seven tails, but the occasional eight-tailed Kitsune also popped up. Nine-tailed ones were exceedingly rare, with only a handful having appeared in the past ten years since the Shifters came to be. She secretly hoped for seven or more.

Finally came the day—after all the others had been tested for compatibility—when she would undergo the process of becoming a shifter. The memory is still vivid in her mind, of standing stark naked in that strange, vertical tube with electrodes attached to every conceivable part of her body; from chest to legs, scalp to feet. One might say that she was covered head to toe in electrodes.

The process itself wasn’t painful, as she was knocked unconscious almost the moment a strange, blue-ish liquid started flowing into the tube itself. No, there wasn’t any pain but what happened when she awoke might as well have been for how vividly she remembered it all. The first thing she noticed as she was brought back to consciousness, still stark naked inside that tube, was a heavy weight behind her. A quick glance revealed a multitude of tails. She had counted them, counted every one of them and felt the joy fill her as she counted five and she wasn’t finished counting yet. She had gotten the seven tails she had been hoping for, but… There wasn’t seven.

She was stunned. She could hardly comprehend the fact that she, a no-body from the streets of a small town in Britain, was a Kitsune with NINE tails. The rarest and, supposedly, most powerful of them. That alone made her soar: She was special, she wasn’t a nobody. She was _something_ now, and not just an unwanted rat on the streets. But that wasn’t all, she soon discovered.

They had a large, wall-length mirror installed in the room where the process took place, and when she looked in that she almost dropped her jaw. She had always prided herself on being fairly pretty—at least among the rabble on the street. She had no uneven teeth, no excessive amount of pimples, and she managed to keep relatively clean. But what she saw was beyond her imagining.

It wasn’t a word she would have used about anyone she just met or saw in passing, let alone herself, but in that moment the only word that came to mind was “Beautiful.” Her eyes were a summer blue, and slitted, as opposed to their usual dark brown. Her face had become more angular, sharper, and more fox-like. What’s more, the toned and athletic body she prided herself on was gone, replaced instead by the well kept and fit body of a gorgeous woman, wide hips and a bust far larger than what little she had had before.

It was the first time in years that she had cried. Just seeing herself like that, seeing, and feeling, that she was worth something. Not just because of her enhanced looks, but also because she knew that with this transformation, she could help others. Selfish though she might have been, she’d learned from Max early on that compassion goes a long way.

The following days brought with them several more discoveries. Among them the fact that her smell, hearing, and sight had been vastly enhanced when she Shifted, as well as her speed and raw physical strength being far above what she had previously had. One of the most annoying changes in her Shifter form, she decided, were the fangs. Sure they looked good and gave her smile a certain level of viciousness, but the amount of times she had to put healing salve on a lip she had punctured was high. Far higher than she’d like.

In the following two years from when she was shipped off to the Academy from the facility in spain, to when she started her final year in said Academy, a lot of things happened. For once, she learned how to fight and utilize her knew powers. She learned how to trick the minds of others, to change reality as she saw fit and how to draw the very life out of plants and trees, small animals and insects. She was forced through tactics classes, dragged through the mud when she didn’t meet the field trainer’s expectations.

She learned a lot, and while she appreciated that there was still one thing she gained that she treasured, and still treasures, above all else: Her girlfriend, Tsukiko, a fellow Demon Class Shifter, and a Bakeneko—a two-tailed Cat-and-Human hybrid with the ability to divide herself into two, one tail staying with each of the ‘copies’. She was a sweet japanese girls, and one of the few who managed to get past her tough exterior, and touch and thaw the frozen heart within her. They hit it off early, and their initial friendship bloomed into something more in the months following their arrival at the Academy.

Now they’re inseparable, spending much of their free-time together and sparring when they get the chance.

As for Lily, so far she’s enjoying her stay at the Academy. For the first time in her life she has a bed and a room for herself. She doesn’t have to worry about food, or how to not get cold during the winter.

If it means that she’ll have to fight and put her life on the line to pay back for all of that, then so be it. At the very least, she spent the last of her life being happy if things go bad.

Personality:
As opposed to the kind nature of Ikari, Lily is quite the rough girl. Her life on the streets has made its mark on her, making her aggressive and distrustful. She’s used to having very little, and what little she has has always been in danger of being stolen. As such she’s very possessive and protective, suspicious of anyone she might find near her rooms getting a little too close to the few she cares about—Especially her girlfriend.

Despite this, she can be perfectly friendly and amicable if someone proves to her that they are trustworthy, though it doesn’t get rid of her tough exterior. Some might call her a Tsundere (made even more exasperating due to her japanese roots), and they might be right. She doesn’t open up easy, and she’s stubborn, but she isn’t impossible to befriend. She’s the kind of person you can count on when things go downhill if you have managed to win her over to your side.

Furthermore, she’s somewhat arrogant and a tad narcissistic, as well as being the kind of person who has trouble seeing the difference between right and wrong. That is not to say that has no regards for other people, but having lived a life where taking what you could from an exposed fruit stall or sneak the wallet out of some fat business man’s pocket has sort of made her indifferent to stealing, meaning that she’s not opposed to taking something if she feels that she has a need of it—something her girlfriend is trying to make her stop doing.

Other:
- She is very proud of her looks in her Shifter form, and can be caught admiring her naked self in the mirror if you “forget” to knock in the late evening before entering her room.

- She’s a lesbian and has a girlfriend who’s also a Shifter: A fellow Demon Class able to shift into a Bakeneko. Her name is Tsukiko, and she’s born Japanese.

- Her name was given to her by Max. Lily because he thought she was a pretty little girl, like a lily, and Strider because she was quick on her feet and faster than most kids her age.

- Her hair is as long as it is because she never really had a proper chance to cut it while living on the streets, so she just got used to it being so long.

- Lily is being taught Japanese by Tsukiko, and is decent at it so far, able to at least swear at it and do simple shopping in a japanese town. Longer conversations is something she’s still working on.

Much as I like that you guys moved ahead, I would've preferred that you kept it to the same day. This seems to be the next day, unless I'm mistaken and they got Charles and Celica out on a date later that day.

also, hi again :P
The past several hours had been spent practising on the piano. She had managed a few playthroughs of the song she was practising when Celica had visited her, as well as a couple of half-attempted playthroughs of other pieces. Not one of the other ones she had attempted got played without at least a dozen faults. She cursed herself for every mistake she made, going so far as to playing the intro to some-guy-whose-name-she-couldn't-remember's 5th symphony. It had been a wonderful stress relief to be able to smash the keys with wild abandon... if only for a few seconds.

The piano had been left behind, however, in favour of looking for something to eat. It was rapidly approaching dinner time and she wanted to get there before the canteen was filled with students. A couple hundred other students would have the same idea, of course, but a couple hundred was better than a couple thousand. With hope she'd also meet Tsukiko there.

The thought of Tsukiko, however, was followed by a sour taste in her mouth. It wasn't that Tsuki had ever displeased her, quite the contrary in fact. No, it was the memory of what Celica had said, as well as her and Alice's confrontation. It happened several hours ago and the taunts still made her hackles rise. She knew she shouldn't let it get to her like that, but how could she not? She—

Further musings were interrupted by a weight settling on her shoulder, no more than a few hundred grams at most. Glancing to her side she came face to face with a very small woman; a waterfall of golden hair falling past her shoulders and down her waist, interrupted only by two pairs of slim and transparent wings jutting out from her back.

Sylphide looked up at Lily, a gentle smile on her lips. "I heard about what happened earlier," she said, her voice devoid of judgement or anger of any kind. She wasn't scolding Lily—much to her relief—nor was she about to lecture her; she simply said it. "How do you feel?" She continued, sitting down on Lily's shoulder rather than stand up.

Lily pressed her lips into a thin line at the question, her eyes hardening. "I'm fine," she replied, looking forward again. "You don't need to worry."

"And yet I do," the Mythic shot back. "You worry me, Lily. You are a very kind woman if only you let yourself; I see it in you, in every word you say to other people."

Gritting her teeth, Lily stopped walking, one hand place on the wall and her eyes fixed on the floor. "Don't talk like you know me. You know nothing of me.

"On the contrary," Sylphide continued, ever patient and gentle, "I know a lot about you; where you came from, why you're here, the reason for why you acted as you did when you and Al—" She was interrupted by a loud bang echoing through the hallway. Turning her head she saw Lily letting her clenched hand fall down her side.

"Fine, you know of me, but don't for a second think you know what it's like. You, a pretty little Immortal, how could you possibly know what loss is? Your are surrounded by beings of equal power and age expectancy. You're so kind and perfect that they can't help but like you. You don't have to fear losing them, don't have to worry about them going away. Of course, the question is, why would they? They stay because you're kind, pretty, and perfect. They don't have a reason to leave. You—" her head jerked to the side before she could react, a stinging pain blossoming in her cheek. Looking forward she was faced with an almost angry looking Sylphide, a sight which would have terrified most, her right hand raised.

Sylphide lowered her hand, her gaze becoming noticeable softer as she did so. "I advice that you be careful with your words, Lily," she said. After a short while she sighed and shook her head. "Lily, trust me when I say this: You have issues, and there is no way around it. The way you reacted to Alice taunt's can't just be ignored."

Lily was quick to protest. "But we already fixed it! Ikari told us to talk it out and apologise, and we did!"

Again, Sylphide shook her head. "You apologised and you gave half an explanation for why you reacted so violently, that is true, but it's not something that'll keep you from reacting like that again. Remember that you are not school students who got into a fight, but soldiers whose purpose is to defend your Disc. As it is, nothing is keeping you from acting against such taunts again." She was silent for a while, lips pursed as she examined Lily's face, looking for any signs of anger of which there were—surprisingly—none.

With a small smile, Sylphide continued. "Ikari was, and is still, a loner. She and her fellow Kitsune have never been much for living together with others save when having made a promise to aid someone. She doesn't know a lot about handling conflicts, and saw an apology as being sufficient. In that regard you may call her childish. We Fairies, however, live—or lived—in large colonies, and we had a lot of conflicts which needed resolving."

"And how's that going to help?" Lily asked, her voice almost subdued, but with a definitive edge to it. "You can't fix my problems, can't jump back in time to make it so I was never abandoned."

"You're right, I can't. No one can. What I can do, however, is tell you this: Unless you start moving forward, and past your old hardships, you risk pushing away those you love. I don't know for certain, but I fear that even Tsukiko will only stay with you for so long, if you continue clinging onto your past. I'm not telling you to forget everything that happened, but let go and accept that that isn't your life anymore. You may not have had much of a family at all, but if you work towards it... you could get a family of your own. The past cannot be changed, but you can accept it as it was, and focus on making a brighter future for yourself." She stopped, then smiled at Lily. "I know you can." She reverted to her Fairy form, barely twenty centimetres tall, and fluttered off.

Lily stood where Sylphide her left her for several minutes, eyes downcast but mind racing. Could it be true? Would it be possible for Tsukiko to leave her if she didn't... let go of her past? How could she let go of her past? It was there; ever present and unchanging. She couldn't let it go, but...

She crouched down, leaning against the wall with both her hands gripping at her head. No... No. She wouldn't let Tsukiko leave her. She couldn't. She was everything she'd ever had, and losing her would... would.

"I can't let that happen," she whispered, almost choking on her own words. Try as she might she couldn't keep the tears from trickling down her cheeks. "I won't. I..." She looked up, a fire of determination fighting to gain a foothold in her teary eyes. "I... I need to talk to her."
