Bio

So... Bio's are a thing now. Fancy.

Anywho!
25 y/o guy, currently student and living by myself, yada yada.

Veteran Roleplayer, with over 7-8 years of experience in both Pen & Paper and text based, with minimal LARP Experience. I have a great interest in fantasy settings and tends to dislike Post Apocalypse, or generally anything involving guns and modern weaponry. Gimme a sword and the ability to throw fire, and I'm happy.

I have relatively high standards and find myself somewhat disappointed if my posts are below 500 words, preferring ~1000+ whenever possible (sadly, not always easy). At the same time I expect similar standards from my fellow players. I also have a tendency to play female characters in spite of my being a guy, mainly because I find it more entertaining than playing the big burly guy.

Chloe Richards - Forest of Gorlock

A few minutes had passed--or at least that was what it felt like--during which Chloe had seated herself on the ground, sword on the ground beside her, and watched the myriad of animals all around them. At the same time she kept an eye on the strange deer, not quite yet sure what to make of it, but still fairly convinced that it was not here with the intent to cause her, or either of the other two, any harm.

As she sat there the smulled over the different options; both of how they came here, and what they were supposed to do. We all appeared here suddenly, is what it sounds like. Neither Tamaki nor Fiona knew anything as to the how and why. We just... appeared... in this place. Together. For whatever strange reason. Her brows furrowed, frowning thoughtfully. Her gaze moved to the sky above them, just visible through the hole in the canopy. Tamaki seems to think that that 'Deer' is some sort of spirit, even intelligent. I've no doubt that it is intelligent... but how much? Hardly more than your average doe or stag, I would think.

"That's oddly specific," she said out loud, directed at Tamaki. "Your theory as to how we came here, that is. It's... What should I say... Very fantastic? Out of the ordinary? Not that anything here is--" she looked around, pursing her lips "--ordinary." She stood up then, picking up her sword as well.

She started heading towards the treeline, but stopped just short of it and turned back towards the other two. "I'll go take a look around, see if there's anything interesting." A gentle smile spread across her lips. "I'll be within earshot, so if you need me just shout and I'll come." With that, she turned around and passed the first few trees, wishing that no branches would decide to snag at her yoga pants or tank top. I really would prefer not to end up exposing more skin than just my stomach.

As fate would have it, she passed a thorny bush and ripped a small hole in her 'pants'. It wasn't too bad, but enough to annoy her slightly. It wasn't a bush she had seen before, nor were any of the trees she noticed. A few looked like oak or maple, but either the colours were off, the tree was too large or small, wrong patterns on the leaves, or any combination of those. She found a bush with some berries and plucked a few, stuffing them into her tanktop, hoping that they wouldn't end up getting mashed into paste before she got back. That, and hoping that they were edible. Heavens knew they would need to know what could be eaten by them one day.

She continued wandering around, keeping within earshot of the other two, and their flock of animals. At one point she used her sword to hack off two thick branches from a tree, cleaning them of twigs growing from it. Should make fine walking sticks, if it comes to it, she thought, and continued her search for anything interesting.

All the while pondering what that strange feeling in her gut was. As if she wasn't quite... "just her" anymore.

Chloe Richards - Forests on Gorlock

This... this wasn't right. Not on any level, not in any way. She could accept a certain level of oddities, a small amount of downright ludicrous happenings, but there were limits even to how much she could deal with before things just became too much for her. She had just been to the blacksmith in town--she still felt lucky that they even had someone like that in Newcastle--to collect the sword she had requested a few weeks back; an Ulfberht sword, engraved with a series of norse runes on them, and made to be fit for live practice--even sharpened. She still had the sword in its scabbard held in her hand, but that was about it. That is, if one did not count her yoga pants, running shoes, and tank top exposing the better part of her stomach; all that she wore during training.

The area she had arrived in was more or less exactly what she would have expected the Amazonas to be like, or maybe something similar to that. It was green--that much was obvious--and also full of life. No, teeming with life. She couldn't see much when she first appeared, but she could most definitely hear it.

"This isn't right," she muttered, looking around and almost missing the two other women near her, since the strange deer-like creature seemed to be the center of attention. She grimaced at its strange, humanoid face, finding it more than just a little creepy.

"This is so COOL!"

It was one of the other women who made the outburst, seemingly enthusiastic about their current whereabouts. If she had to make a guess she'd assume that whoever this one was, she was used to suddenly being teleported to random places, that may or may not be on earth. "I wouldn't exactly call this cool, miss, it's--" She caught movement in the corner of her eye, twisting around and drawing her sword out of its scabbard, holding it at the ready as the deer landed. Though it made by movement to be aggressive, she kept the sword out. Just in case he... it... decides to do anything.

For all of its strange behaviour and looks, it seemed friendly at least. It regarded the wheelchair bound girl intensely for a short moment before it turned towards her and the "Excited One". Her grip around the sword tightened, muscles flexing as they prepared to perform movements ingrained into their very fibre. It seemed, however, that the deer had no ill intent in mind, instead seeming content with only rubbing against her and The Excited One briefly. She lowered her sword, relaxing her muscles, but still kept it out of its sheath. She wasn't too fond of suddenly being in a completely new world, and no amount of friendly, human-faced animals were going to make her think otherwise.

"They seem friendly," she muttered out loud, noting how multitudes of different animals started appearing from all over the place. Every kind of beast and critter she had heard before now presented themselves in all their otherworldly glory and, if Chloe had any say in it, weirdness.

She glanced towards the Excited One, then the one in the wheelchair. "Asagami, was it? I'm Chloe... Do any of you two have any idea where we are? And for that matter, how we got here?" She slowly sheathed her sword, glancing around with a mix of curiosity and apprehension, now that the residents had proven themselves to be docile, or at the very least not hostile.
@NuttsnBolts@The Mad Hatter
I have found somethingto my liking, guys :) Thanks for the suggestions, by the way.
Hey guys. I don't have time to post right now, but I should have one up tomorrow (in about 24 hours at the very latest). Sorry about no post yet, but I've had other things to do :<
@Guilty Spark
Ah. So many characters... haven't had time to look through all of them. Just thought it was her given the black hair and such.
@SilverDawn
The girl on the far right, is that supposed to be Chloe? :o
Name: Chloe Richards
Nickname: Chimera
Sex: Female
Age: 27
Ethnic: English

Appearance:
Chloe is mostly an average young woman, standing at 170 centimetres, a pear shaped body, and long raven coloured hair. She’s by no means unattractive, but neither is she extraordinarily pretty. Her skin is lightly tanned from staying outside on summer days, and stretched taught across an athletic body. Her eyes are a deep brown, and seemingly alight with energy at all times. Beneath them are a rather ordinary nose, under which again is a pair of full, red lips, with a natural pucker.

As is a given with a pear shaped body, her hips are wide, while her chest is lacking. Muscles are defined on just about every inch of her body, though not so much as to give her the appearance of a bodybuilder, or anything of the like. More than anything her body is similar to that of a female fitness guru—which she incidentally is.

Personality:
Kind, energetic, with a small penchant for more “hands-on” approaches. Chloe is by no means ill spirited, nor is she naive or childish. She behaves like an adult at most times, trying to think things over as best she can. At the same time she is easygoing and friendly to those she meets—provided they do not show ill intent towards her—and is willing to talk more often than not.

She’s something of a master when it comes to discipline, so while she was known among friends to be incredibly curious, that trait only really comes to light in the event that something so alien as to be mind boggling appears, or happens nearby. Otherwise she seemingly manages to keep her curiosity to herself.

Background
Chloe’s life before coming to Aurora has been a rather quiet affair. Nothing extraordinary or fantastic. She grew up as any other girl, playing with dolls and wearing dresses; playing princess, and wishing for the white knight on his mighty steed. She was as any other girl as a child, though that changed slightly the older she become. On her way home from school she came by a center for multiple types of physical training, be it simple fitness or martial arts. It was in the very beginning of her teens that she started gaining serious interest in the various methods of training.

It wasn’t long before she started training herself, starting off with gymnastics. A few years passed with that before she continued on to other sports; simple fitness and swordsmanship, the latter of which being one which had been of significant interest to her. The way the people she had watched train moved, how they swung their swords; parried and struck. It had a sort of hypnotic beauty to it, and it sparked a desire to learn how to do so herself.

The years of her life passed by. She completed school, went onto college and finished that with as average results as they come. Academics were not her focus, as she had already decided what she wanted to become. At this point in time almost half of her life had been spent with physical exertions, first as a gymnast, then as a swordsman and a simple fitness. In her years of training she had not only built up her body’s strength, but also her reputation and skill set. She soon started as a fitness instructor, earning a more than decent pay, surprising even herself and her parents with just how much, she got out of what started as nothing but a hobby.

Her life continued as such for a handful of years until, on a fateful day in her 27th year, she found herself in a different world than she had been in before. If she didn’t know better she would have guessed that her front door had suddenly turned into the door to Narnia. q

Goal/Desires: A way back home. In the event that such isn’t possible; to carve a life out for herself in this world.

Powers:
Chimera

Chloe’s powers are simple, yet complex. She is capable of taking on a form that is half human half animal; her strengths and weaknesses changing depending on the shape. So far she has two shapes:

  • Cat
    • Be it tiger, lion, leopard, etc, the common theme of the Cat Shape is extreme speed and agility, coupled with enhanced physical strength. In this shape the lower half of her body is that of a cat, including clawed paws and tail. Her eyes become slitted and her canines grow significantly longer and pointier. Additionally her human ears are replaced by cat ears.
  • Dragon
    • The Dragon is categorized by immense strength, durability, and an increase to her physical size (roughly 30% extra body mass). Like in her cat shape she stands in digitigrade legs, feet ending in a set of paws with massive claws. The majority of her body is covered in scales, and her fingers becomes tipped with powerful claws as well. From her back sprouts a pair of wings and a long, thick tail. Though she has yet to learn how to fly with them she is capable of simple gliding. In this form her speed and agility is lessened in favour of raw power.
  • Kirin [Locked] (appearance WIP)
    • Unlike her previous forms, the Kirin is not focused on physical prowess or combat, but rather a type of magic. As a Kirin she is capable of utilizing powerful telekinetic magic, and some limited telepathy which can grant her control (or simple influence to begin with) over lesser creatures: Critters, beasts, etc. She doesn't gain gain an increase in physical strength in this form, but grows another set of apendages which contain any increase in physical prowess. In her Kirin Shape, Chloe, like any other dragon, is covered in scales on some parts of her body; specifically her lower arms and hands. From the tip of her fingers to her elbow, her arms are covered in scales the colour of smudgy brown and purple. As opposed to her Draconic form, however, she doesn't gain claws, but instead grow something of a mix between claws and nails: Thicker than nails, and several centimetres long, the same colour as the scales. Her eyes become a solid amethyst colour without pupils, and her skin changes to have a blue hue to it. On a final note, a pair of wing-like appendages consisting only of what seems to be a skeletal structure--though seemingly covered in a mix of scale and chitin--grow from the middle of her back. They are large enough that she can lift her feet a good metre and a half from the ground by using them to support herself, and is where her physical strength is centered; they are incredibly powerful, capable of tearing through wood, and even possibly bending thick metal plates.

      Additionally, scales cover her chest, and waist down to her hips, leaving her belly exposed, as well as her back, except for the immediate area around where her wing-appendages grow from.

Equipment/Inventory:
An Ulfberht sword she had made for her a few years back, specifically designed to be used for combat.
Her clothes, consisting of a pair of yoga pants, tanktop, and a simple jacket.
Here's my character submission! ^^
I don't have time to do the background right now as I need to go to bed, but I will have it finished tomorrow. I hope everything else is acceptable. Also, if I may indulge my opinion-whoring a little bit, what do you guys think of Chloe? :)

Oh! On a somewhat related note: Sandra Prikker is essentially what I have in mind with Chloe's basic body type. I don't want to link as some of her pictures features her with relatively little clothes on, but look her up if you want a visual :)
Interesting RP this one. Still accepting people? :)
@Sypherkhode822
I am already GM of two RP's as it is, and they're going kinda slow, so I don't want to make another one.
