| Greetings friends, partners, enemies, acquaintances, and strangers. I am Kassarock, or just Kass if you prefer, welcome to my profile. Anyway, I am a 20 something male roleplayer from the UK and a long time user of the site, although I have come and gone a fair bit over my time here. I used to be more active on the old site, and I still am relatively active in the off topic sections today, as well as in the guild's discord. So you might see me around. I generally consider myself to be an advanced writer, I pretty much always write multiple paragraphs, and will drop walls of text if the mood takes me. My grammar is okay, but not formally perfect, so I do not expect that from my partners either. I normally like quite dark and dramatic themes in terms of content in my roleplays, regardless of genre. Unless I have got an interest check up, or have messaged you, I am not usually looking for new partners to write with. I think that covers just about everything. Talos Dunmer Rogue incoming.
I've been thinking this over for about half of today and trying to figure out how I feel about trying to DM Phandelver. And I simply don't want to try doing something I've already tried, especially since it wasn't the best experience for me personally. It caused me some real stress, so much I left RPG for days to avoid dealing with the shit that happened.
If anything I just don't really think I want to specifically run this module. I love D&D but god damn running one here is absolutely difficult. I hope everyone understands. I should really try to take a step back and try to review what I as a DM and a person can do. I just don't want to feel like I'm attempting to do something I simply don't have the drive to do at this moment right now.
No worries mate, take all the time you need. If you ever feel like running some 5e again in the future, then just give us a shout.

Ash looked away as the fine featured, silver haired elf before him swept him over with his keen and inquisitive eyes. He had not wanted to attract attention coming into Deadsnows, but it seemed he had could the eyes of both the guards at the gate and this stranger before him. Thankfully though the stranger didn't seem to bear him any ill will, quite the contrary. He wanted to pay for Ash's food and drink, proposition him, and then... try to find some... lodgings...
Oh God. Is this something sexual? Is this something weird and sexual?
For a moment Ash tried to imagine what sort unspeakable acts this seemingly refined looking elf would want to perform with a half-orc and a strange looking foreigner, before instantly trying to think about literally anything other than that. Despite his best efforts, he could feel his face redden as it flushed with warm blood.
"That's err- very nice of you, but I'm not actually err- what I mean is..." Ash tried to stammer out some firm yet non-offensive reason to part company with the elf as he pointedly stared at his feet, blushing even harder. Nothing was coming out. He couldn't think of anything, his mind had gone completely blank.
Why can't you think of anything? Say something damn it! Say anything!
"...Okay?"
WHY DID YOU SAY THAT?! That was literally the only thing you should not have said!
With an absolutely blank expression upon his still reddened face, the Ash defeatedly followed the direction in which the elf had gestured, into the bar of the tavern. Maybe it wouldn't be that bad? Maybe whatever he was into would turn out to be quite... vanilla?
At least he's not bad looking...
