Bio

Hello Everyone. Welcome to my page. Feel free to call me Ms. Winters Or Major Winters. Most people do. I have been with the guild over three years now. I have many RPs and 1x1s. Feel free to take a look. I am 45 (Yes I know I am older than most). I have been happily married for 24 years. I have two gremlins. I love to read. We started a YouTube channel to share our randomness.

Roxy picked up her cup of coffee. As she watched the exchange. It was interesting. She didn't have much knowledge of family dynamics. Hers had been strained at best. She wasn't looking forward to introducing Devika to them. She knew the other woman would enjoy the visits. Roxy wanted to get them out of the way as soon as possible. The sooner they got that out of the way the better.

"I've never to an amusement park." Roxy commented without thinking. She had no idea what to expect. She wasn't sure how good of an idea this was. It wasn't her place. She would do her best to stay as far from them as her ability would allow. She wanted Devika to reconnect with her parents. It was clear to her that the empath was close to her parents. While she didn't understand that closeness she would support it. "Sounds interesting."

Happy new years
"He has dozens places like this all over." She explained with a shrug. She made her way back over to the hatch. She had been very careful with her search. She took as few risks as possible. "It isn't likely he remembers this one. I hope to be gone by the time he thinks to check here." He wouldn't think she was brave enough to stay close. Not after the way she had taken off.

Roxy picked up two locks. One was a key lock the other a combination lock. She but them on the hatch. She doubted he would get passed both. Even if he did there was no where for him to go. Once the hatch was taken care of she headed towards one of the bedrooms. "I'm used to being alone." She assured him. She had been alone her whole life. She didn't see that changing. "I think you can both sleep."
I understand that. I think that's why none of characters are close to their parents. I don't know how to write that kind of relationship.

The amusement park would be interesting. It's definitely something Roxy hasn't done.
I didn't think so. Surely Devika's parents had ideas on what they wanted to do when she returned. They seem like the type to plan things. They would have ideas even if the chances were slim. Or they must have done family activities before she left that they could do. I guess we could skip.
On her vacation? For fun?
Roxy glanced at Jess and shrugged. "Sure." She doubted that she would be able to focus on the music. She stared out the window as the taxi headed down the road. Worrying woukd accomplishment nothing but she couldn't stop herself from doing it. Jess's mom would always be in her life. Even if she was only on the outskirts. As much as Roxy didn't want to admit it the woman's opinion would matter.

She barely noticed the rest of the trip. Which was good for her claustrophobia. She took a deep breath when the cab stopped. She paid the driver and got out. She prepared herself to be judged. Roxy wouldn't bother explaining. One look at her record would confirm whatever her father told the woman. He would stick just close enough to the truth not to be lying. He would want the woman on his side to force her to do what he wanted to do. "Lead the way."
It's a hectic time of year. I understand. I would say whatever Devika's family used to do together. Devika and her family need to reconnect.
