Kalianne Wintergreen was once again lost in Seattle. She thought she had finally made some leeway in finding this tower that Luthor and his team were squatting in. But instead she found herself more confused and unaware of her surroundings than she was before. She really hated the states and Washington was for sure the top five worst so far. Admittedly she hadn't been to many states in the United States, let alone 5 but she was sure Washington was going to stay on the list. But in a way the dreary weather did remind her a bit of home. But home really wasn't home without the old man. She should call him after she gets settled in. "That is the last time I take directions from a Seattellite. How do you not know your own city?"
She sighed in annoyance before she heard the sound of gunfire, screams, and all kinds of chaotic panic near her vicinity. A thought came to her. She may not know how to find Edge Tower all she had to do was find where the assorted group of teenaged misfits were likely to show up. At the scene of an apparent crime. She'd find out more once she arrived. Hopefully she wouldn't be too late to hitch a lift back. She sped in the direction of the gunfire using all of her might to do so not worried about the effects it would have on her body and stamina. By the time she had made it three blocks down the road she had realized she left her luggage. Not that anything in there mattered. She had what she needed on her. Her main weapons were lined across her back, wrapped up nicely as to hide what they actually were and her knife was resting in the utility belt wrapped around her waist. The rest she'd replace once she went shopping or as she liked to call it scope out her new surroundings.
She skidded to a stop at the building across from the precinct and watched as everything unfolded. The police were underfire and there was a giant goon doing a lot of throwing. She moved closer to get a better view and pressed an X on her belt as she did so. Almost instantly her suit or "costume" formed around her plainclothes. Once she was close enough she activated the infrared vision in her helmet to peer inside. Fortunately there weren't any cold bodies. Just a bunch of cowering hot ones. That was good. No one was dead. Hopefully it stayed that way. She began formulating a plan of action when a sudden flare up of energy read through her mask as a group seemingly appeared out of thin air. Maybe Luthor and his team team had arrived. She decided instead to watch how things would play out first before acting herself. This would also be a test for them to see if this whole thing was really worth her time.
The first member of the team she had the pleasure of seeing was the wondrous Wonder Girl and what a sight she was. But Kali wasn't sure if she was more attracted to her or the way she wielded that axe. She was brave, strong and giving the Behemoth quite the fight and for a moment it seemed that she'd end it all on her own. But the beast of a man was determined not to go down so easily and turned the fight in his favor. Was this the moment or opening she was waiting for? She started to move but stopped when she heard an explosion and the fighting call of a flaming man. That flaming man had managed to blow the goon's mask off but was subsequently backhanded. Then some weird looking greyish dude exited to help. She couldn't tell if he was an alien or an elf so consigned to consider him a space elf for now. The space elf's attack gave the Axe Princess the time to recover and subdue her opponent. All she needed now was for someone to deliver one final blow while she held him in place. This was it. This was her moment.
Kali sprang into action dashing across the destructive battlefield using torn up concrete as footholds to add to her height and boost her momentum. She made one final leap into the air calculating her landing before she jumped to ensure she'd come straight down on the restricted thug with an electrified fist as she activated her glove's taser hoping the water from the rain would add to its effectiveness. "You've faced rain and fire. How about some lightning?"
Location: Zeus Cabin and Hades Cabin; Camp Half-Blood - Long Island Sound; New York. Interacting With: Fiamma, Aquila, Erin & Pals @Venus@Vicier
Zeru almost decided to forego the quest and remain in bed with Fiamma forever. It was comfortable enough and he was sure this was what Olympus was like. Why would he need anything else? Who could ask for more? He couldn't, but he knew that his cousin needed him and was waiting for him. Plus he was pretty sure this was the power of cuddling speaking for him. He sighed with annoyance and kissed Fiamma on her forehead. "Well, I'm off. I'll see you in seven days. I love you." He jumped out of bed, put on his short and slung his backback on. It was time. He dared not look back at her and the bed for fear that they would disappear or his own soul would be lost forever in despair. Ugh. Seraphina's dramatics were starting to rub off.
Zeru left his room and then the giant Zeus cabin, once again not looking back because he did he knew he'd want to go back inside and stay inside. Even though they just spent a school year apart this quest would serve well for any attachment issues the two had. Zeru brought his fingers to his lips and blew the perfect amount of air between them. A beautiful sound coursed from his lips in the form of a whistle. Soon after the call of a golden eagle could be heard in response before the eagle itself made her appearance. "There you are, Aquila, my girl. You ready to go? Unfortunately we'll be traveling by shadows. I know, terrible right? But I wouldn't dare let you fly that far on your own. You may be magical, but even you get tired. Well, come on. Let's go solve a mystery." They were off.
Zeru arrived at Hades Cabin even passing his cousin Sera on the way. His final goodbye had already been walking in his direction. Thankfully she already knew he was going on the quest so he didn't have to catch her up on much. She assured him that she would occupy her favorite daughter of Apollo's time while he was gone and he was both thankful and worried.
Zeru walked through the door of the cabin with Aquila perched on his shoulder deciding that since he was an expected guest he had no reason to knock. After all they were likely waiting for him since he was the last one to be informed that he was going. "I am here. Now, who's ready to go bird watching?" He proclaimed loud enough for them to hear in the kitchen.
Maize was starting to grow bored of her self-guided tour. There wasn't much excitement to be found when all that was around you was the aftermath of destruction. It was why she never stayed long after conquering a planet for Frieza. Maybe she should have bothered Ovaan after all. She let out an exaggerated sigh before hearing someone's voice. She turned her head to see Tabaga, the other Saiyan who was ripped from her timeline.
She was somewhat taken aback by her not knowing what the transformation she wielded actually was. Did the legend not exist in her universe or was her upbringing similar to her own? Maize hadn't heard of the legend until after she met up with the other Saiyans and finding out that was the reason they were wiped out in the first place.
"Uh, hi." Maize started off nervously. "Yeah, I can do it too. I remember being confused when I first transformed, but honestly I didn't really have the time to think about it in the moment. I knew what it was, but feeling the sensation of an almost uncontrollable power? I have to admit, it was kind of scary. In my universe we called it Super Saiyan. Kind of a bit too on the nose if you ask me."
Maize had started to wonder what she had gotten herself into. This group, this team was anything but. Their supposed leader was truly unfit. After all the last group under her command burned themselves to a crisp leaving just her and this confused lot behind. She didn't want to meet the same fate, but honestly what choice did she have? As it stood her universe was gone and she was specifically one of several targets across the multiverse. Was all of this because she was apparently the Super Saiyan of legend? That might have been the case since Tabaga was one as well. But what about the others? A suicidal Frost Demon ridden with survivors guilt, a soldier who sees himself as a tool, a blind girl, a currently unconscious pink goo, and a robot. What did they all have in common?
She pondered on this for as she walked off on her own for a few hours. She had wanted to go after Ovaan, but decided to give him time to himself for now. She didn't understand why she cared about his wellbeing. Maybe it was because of her relationship with Frieza. He may have been a tyrant, but in a way he still was her father. She never really fully unpacked that after she killed him. She just went on to live her life. But it wasn't like the Frieza Empire had any mental health insurance plans. She couldn't recall there ever being a single therapist in the empire. Legend had it that one told Frieza that he had this thing called short man Syndrome and he demanded the execution of every therapist in the known galaxy. His height was always a button you never wanted to push.
Once Maize was out of her own head she realized that the others had went off to do their own thing as well. Even the Frost Demon had started to train in the Gravity Machine for some time now. She could feel the fluctuations in his ki. He seemed to be giving it his all and may fall to the machine soon. She decided to leave him be until after and continued to walk around the destroyed city.

She hasn't really had many friends. Especially since she left high school her freshman year. So she thinks being on a team with a lot of kids like her would help that. She hasn't dealt with many that understood her so this would be a nice change. But as she's spent a lot of time alone and with Lady Shiva she may come off somewhat judgmental. Especially after seeing how incapable they are of handling themselves in a fight.

My life had been almost normal for as long as I could remember. That was, until it wasn't. I grew up lied to about my past, but I don't blame my father for that. The one that raised me, not my unfortunate sperm donor. I was born a twin to the one and only Deathstroke. And just like another set of twins of a misguided villain we were separated at birth for our protection. My sister, Rose, stayed with our mother. I was adopted by his longtime friend and partner, Major William Wintergreen.
He raised me like I was his own daughter and for a long time I didn't know any differently, but I did know that I was different. Different from my dad and different from everyone around me. It all started when I fell from the top of the giant slide in my backyard. I broke my neck and snapped it right back into place like it was nothing. It hurt, but I healed so fast that I barely even noticed the pain. It was weird, but my dad took this as an opportunity to start my training early. He also taught me how to be careful not to get senselessly injured. He didn't want me exposing my super aggressive healing factor. I had managed to avoid exposure all throughout elementary school and middle school, but things changed once I was sent away to boarding school. I had a feeling that something was wrong. That my dad didn't want me at home at all that year, but used sending me to a better school as an excuse.
I immediately realized that a school of all girls was quite literally Hell on Earth and I wanted to go home to my personal heaven. So I did a prison break and went home and every day I'm thankful that I did. I came home to find my father bleeding out on the floor and a man in armor escaping through a window. I wanted to chase after him, but instead I checked on my dad and to my relief he was still alive. He was unconscious, but he wasn't drifting to the other side yet. I had never done a blood transfusion before but I looked up a video on YouTube and followed it closely. My dad survived with the help of my blood and while he was recovering I left to get revenge.
I tracked down the would be killer using some of my dad's resources and found him attacking a bunch of kids. First an old man and now a bunch of teenagers in Halloween costumes? This man was clearly a menace to society that needed to be put down. So I did just that. Or so I thought. I impaled the bastard and left him for dead only to find out later that he was still alive and mind controlled or possessed or whatever by my brother at the time. And the icing on the cake? He was my fricking biological father. I wanted nothing to do with him or school for that matter. I realized that I couldn't just sit around pretending that my life was normal when it wasn't from the start.
I asked my dad if I could quit school and travel the world. I wanted to put my abilities to good use, train myself, and put a stop to people like my father. He reluctantly gave in, but only if I used his connects and kept up with my studies in the meantime. He wasn't going to raise an idiot for a daughter. For the next year he trained me more intensely than he had before. He wanted to make sure that I'd be ready for anything and even brought in other instructors to help me. When my 15th birthday came around I was ready. I was gifted the most badass costume in all of existence with some badass gadgetry to match. My life as a teenage mercenary had begun.
It's a good thing that my costume completely covers my face because when I first started my mercenary work my clients weren't all too confident with having a woman handle the job. They'd be even less confident had they known she was still a child. But my work ended up speaking for itself and no one questioned the new woman on the scene again. My job took me all over the world doing different kind of missions, mostly non-lethal. Mostly. When I was sixteen one of the more lethal missions had me cross paths with the assassin Lady Shiva. Long story, short she kicked my ass and I failed my mission. My regeneration and my cute face when she unmasked me were the only reasons I'm even alive to tell the tale now.
After that day we ran into each other a few more times. Okay, let me stop. I stalked her and made sure I encountered her on missions because I wasn't going down with a losing record. Every time we met I was met with defeat, but each time she spared my life. I had no idea why the world's most notorious assassin, next to Deathstroke, was allowing me to live after each encounter we had. Especially when it became clear that I was seeking her out. But then I realized that with each encounter she was training me, not conventionally, but through real combat. While on the ground after our last encounter I yelled out for her to take me on as her official student. She told me to find her and left. What did she think I was doing all of this time?
For a month I searched for any signs of her on any missions that might pique her interest, but to no avail. She had disappeared and wasn't taking on any. She actually wanted me to find her. And so after another month of pretending I was Sherlock Holmes I finally found her. She asked me if there was a weapon that I wanted her to train me in the most. I said the sword, but I didn't want to stick to just one style of swordfighting. She told me this would be the weapon I'd kill her with one day and my training began. Initially I didn't take her words seriously, but part of me wondered if she had an actual death wish and when the time came would I really be willing to kill my own teacher? I pushed the thought out of my head and continued on with my training.
All of the training I had before now was nothing compared to this. My training lasted until my 17th birthday where my sensei decided to celebrate with one final duel. If you ask me, she just didn't know how to throw a party. I won using everything she taught me in addition to everything I learned throughout the years and in our fights. I didn't kill her and told her that I might one day, but there is still a lot that she needed to teach me. But for now I needed to find my own path, maybe as a hero. Then I kid you not she said the corniest thing that ever came out of her mouth. "Then a new hero needs a new name." She dubbed me Lady X officially giving me the title of her student. Don't tell her this, but that was the greatest moment of my life. She gifted me a katana made out of promethium to go along with the promethium blade that my dad gave me. She knew I was one of the few people in the world that would be able to wield it without dying. At least she was better at giving gifts than planning parties.
I told my dad that I wasn't returning home, but would still call him and visit whenever I could and that no matter what I'd still be his daughter. I really appreciate the freedom he gives me, but at the same time I feel bad because I miss him but I have to do this. So I moved to Bludhaven, a cesspool of villainy comparable to that of Gotham City. The perfect playground for Lady X to beat up bullies in. I quickly made a name for myself. It wasn't hard. My exploits were already kind of known in the underworld and I didn't change my costume. While there I ran into Nightwing, his ass should be chiseled in stone, a new version of the Teen Titans, my twin that I never knew I had, and some rich kid.
One day that same rich kid approached me about putting together a team of Renegades. Kids that don't quite fit that Titan mold. I told him pass, but that I'd think about it. So I thought about it and it wasn't that bad of an idea. I decided to visit my sensei again. If I was going to be on a team of heroes I'd probably need a weapon that wasn't meant to be lethal. She had the perfect weapon for me. Nunchucks. Nah, I'm kidding. A bo staff. I had taken lessons with it when I was younger, but didn't focus too much on it until now. I just loved the feel of a sword. Anyway, we trained and like last time it ended in a final fight where I somehow managed to win. I think she just let me win so I could get out of there. She gifted me a collapsible bo staff. It wasn't made out of any special properties. She said too much poison can still be poisonous. Cornier than a fortune cookie.
So here I am today lost in Seattle, talking to you, a complete stranger, about my life in the hopes that you would tell me how to get to this damn Tower.

A B I L I T I E S || Regeneration and Peak Human Abilities
Kali's metahuman ability is regeneration. Her regenerative abilities make her a very irritating opponent. She can heal from virtually any non-lethal attack. She can regrew lost limbs and organs, but it is an annoyance in the meantime. Her regeneration also means that toxins exit her system much more quickly which is why she's able to walk around rocking volatile promethium like it's nothing. Although she hasn't reached her prime yet she believes that when she does her aging will start to slow and she may never die of old age.
Her strength, speed, endurance, stamina, agility, senses, durability and reflexes are all at peak level conditioning through her consistent years of training under various instructors and regimens. She will likely stay in peak conditioning for as long as she lives as she does not age.
L I M I T A T I O N S || I'm a Teenager
In the grand scheme of things Kali is vastly inexperienced. Yeah she's fought a lot of people throughout her time abroad and in Bludhaven, but the world of heroes is still relatively new to her. She's basically been playing with humans and low level metas. She hasn't quite approached the big leagues yet.
W E A K N E S S E S || Technically a Human
As a natural metahuman Kali doesn't suffer from the insanity factor that Deathstroke has, but she still believes that she has a darker side that she's been trying to suppress since she was young.
Kali's regeneration isn't perfect. She can die. She instinctively protects her neck in battle because she's severely scared of decapitation. Because she believes that once her head is detached from her body that it's truly lights out. Similarly if her brain was completely crushed. She refuses to test these theories.
And although she has regeneration she still only is a human. She can't expect to go toe to toe with Herculian monsters in a head on fight. So she instead tries to be resourceful.
