Rose raised an eyebrow as Rosalia attack Colby. She was a little surprised by that reaction, but she couldn't quite blame her. She however was not surprised with Cass's reaction to Matthew. He had given Layla a nasty look.

She watched as the Lady of the Lake spoke with Megan. Pang of jealousy aside for the cool sword. Rose wouldn't have wanted the responsibility of carrying such a heavy legacy. She wondered what sort of legacy her mother carried in this world. What would she have to live up to now? Merlin's look didn't reassure her about her mother. It was a reminder that she was so close to knowing her and might have her ripped away from her before she could.

"We can have infighting after we rescue my mom." She said glancing at Colby and Rosalia, then at Cass and Matthew. "Please." She said the last part mostly to Cass, but loud enough that everyone else could hear it.

Colby hated the water. He hated that Rosalia thought she could get away with pushing him into the water and kicking him. At least the cats had still been on Matthew's shoulders and not his own. In one way Colby was not like a cat he could hold a grudge. He could hold one for a long time. He said nothing to the girl as he left the water and tried to dry off by grabbing the loose fabric and squeezing it. If anger expressed by actual heat he would have been dry in seconds.

Colby walked back over to Matthew. He wasn't one to back down from a fight, but he also preferred knowing he had the upper hand. There were too many people in this group that hated him for his actions. That was fair, he had done something that had risked them all. "None of the rest of you were hurt. The skeletons were easy enough to dispatch. We got out of there. Get over it." He said, then looked at Rose who was asking for the group to get over their squabble. He rolled his eyes a little and shrugged. "Whatever." Rose glared at him.

"What direction to my mother and the others?"

Andy hated that she felt like some of the older kids were coddling her. Yeah, she was upset, but who wouldn't be. Rebecca had been the one who had been teaching her magic. Who was supposed to teach her now? And she was the only one who understood Arthur's powers even a little bit. They had needed her, but she had left.

His hand reached into hers, and her eyes went a little wide for a split second, but it felt right, and she gently squeezed his hand back. "Who is supposed to teach us now?" She asked quietly, voicing her concerns. Leda had been teaching her about the stories and giving her an idea of what the Greeks' world was like, but that wasn't the same. "No one else can control the dead." She added.

Emily placed her seeds in a slightly more accessible location. She wanted to make sure that if she needed to control some vines and there wasn't any available, she'd have them easily tossed to the ground. As they walked, she held Marco's hand. As much as she loved camp, it was pleasant not to be there. She was startled by the scorpion and didn't like that. Mads said she had never seen one that big before. That was worrisome.

Niah was in the rear of the traveling party listening to Waverly's music. It was a nice tune, and she enjoyed listening to it. Niah herself had never had much skill in music. However, it wasn't like she had gone out of her way to learn it. She had her skills, and they were on the battlefield. She understood people in a fight better than anywhere else, and she knew how to make them mad. Of course, she also knew an Oathbreaker when she saw one. There was no stopping that, and it was what defined her growing up. She looked surprised but was ready to fight quickly; however, the scorpion didn't seem to want to fight as it went the other direction.

Niah nodded at Mads suggestion and took to the air. She had some control over the suit since they had spent quite a bit of time using it when they had gone to deal with the dragon. However, she hadn't used it a lot since then. In the air, she looked around and was able to see a plume of smoke. It was in the direction they were heading. Interesting.

Emily watched as Niah took to the sky. Her stomach twisted a bit. It wasn't that she had a fear of heights or anything, but she liked knowing where her support came from. And with the magical armor, she just couldn't see herself trusting it as thoroughly as Niah did. She shook her head and Niah called down. "There is smoke up that way." Niah was pointing toward the top of Mount Tam. Emily noticed that Niah specifically said smoke and not fire. Where there was smoke there was usually fire. And something causing it. But Niah seemed to be only willing to say there was smoke cause that was what she saw.

Niah listened and watched Captain Britain. He seemed to be telling the truth, and genuinely worried about his daughter. She wondered what had happened, though she doubted there was little she could do to help the situation. She kept her face still when Psylocke offered to join them to a visit to Professor X. It was probably a good idea. Though a brief fear of herself being replaced by a Skrull crossed her mind.

"We appreciate the offer. We have another stop we must make, it will take us at least a day. Maybe more if I have anything to say about it." She said the last bit with a glance at Oliver. Niah believed in goodbyes when someone got the chance and she was going to make sure Oliver said his.

A grim set of decisions were made in Matt's mind now. Knowing that his power had worked on Deadpool he figured it would work on Captain America just as well. He knew he would do his best to keep from killing Captain America, as he had once almost done to Cass. Thankfully, Cass didn't hold it against him. He was fully on Hill's side now.

Matt had noticed a flash of metal just as Asokho pointed it out. He nodded. "She said to meet her up there. Want to try the fire escapes, so we keep an eye on the windows in case Cap tries to go out them again, but also meet them up there?" Matt said. He kept his eyes on the mentally marked windows. He found a route via the fire escapes and started up it.

Andy had come back inside just in time for the building to start shaking. She had moved back toward the dining area but that was useless now. Andy looked up at the ceiling where her jacket was still stuck. With the building shaking, she knew she should evacuate. Andy had lived in California long enough to know how to deal with earthquakes. She was frustrated. Andy wanted nothing to do with the fire user outside. She also didn't like fighting mutants. Why fight people like her that were also abused by the world?

The shaking wasn't stopping though. Not like a normal earthquake. The standard education for earthquakes was stop and get cover until the shaking stopped and then exit the building. It was dangerous to try to exit a shaking building, but it looked like she had no choice. She turned back around and went to exit the building carefully. Andy walked away from the building. She was pissed, her jacket was stuck in that shaking building. If she wasn't able to retrieve it... Andy didn't want to think about it, but she whispered an apology to her adoptive mother.

Outside she looked around at the group with Magneto and the fire guy. She could take a guess which person was causing the earthquake. The guy was kneeling down touching the ground. She grinned a little. He was on the ground. If she could get close to him and punch him letting a blast of electricity out she might be able to get him to stop shaking everything. Andy dashed forward and punched him. It was a good punch, but even with the electricity pulsing from her hand into him, he didn't stop shaking the ground. She ground her teeth, steadied herself and went to punch him again.

This time when she gave a near perfect right punch into his jaw. The man fell over landing on his butt and the earthquake stopped. Andy grinned. Partially she was thankful she hadn't killed the man. She hadn't wanted to do that. Sometimes it was all to easy to do though. Her power caused hearts to just stop if she hit someone at the wrong time. Though now she would have to deal with the consequences of punching a fully adult several inches taller than her with the ability to make earthquakes. Andy stuck out her chin proudly ready to duck and weave as needed to get the heck out of the way.

Ed Penior

Ed was a calm personality. He always had been cool and collected, which was a good thing for him to fall back on. There were several injured people and he didn't trust his skill at healing. If Elizabeth didn't mind he took a strand of her hair then made his way quickly to Pietro. There was plenty of him about for Ed to use as his focus. A part of him wanted to say something to Guin something like she seemed to know his name when she needed him. But Ed is a thirty-year-old not a thirteen-year-old. He kept the annoyance that was Guin pushed away.

He knelt down beside Pietro. "I shall try my best. My skill in healing was never as good as my sister's, and today seems especially difficult. I am hoping to at least keep him from suffering permanent damage." He spoke mostly to Guin, his voice was calm and collected despite giving Guin cold reality. Then looking at Pietro he said, "I prefer having permission. I think I'll have to get blanket permission from the team going forward. If you decide you didn't want me to heal you...well, I won't next time."

From there Ed starting casting. It was a good thing Neil had stopped the tornado. The spell always took some time and he was going to make sure he did it as carefully as possible. He imagined his sister's smooth movements and caring heart. That had been the true key to her power she had genuinely cared about everyone. She had been so empathetic that Edus had no hope of ever being as good as she had been, but maybe he could pretend for a moment that she was still here with him. He closed his eyes.

"You're probably right about that kid. I bet you he will get himself or someone killed before this is all over." Rose sighed out in a half-whisper to Cass. She smiled and blushed a little at the wink. Rose was glad that Cass's attention had been caught by the Lady of the Lake exiting the lake and then jamming what had to be Excalibur into stone. Wild. They really had fallen into a fairy tail world.

Rose had called it. Megan Pendragon. The classic Arthurian last name. She remembered meeting the woman at the park and thinking she was from Arcadia because of her name. The girl had been so defensive about it, and here was the proof. Megan was the rightful heir of the throne. Rose supposed it would be the throne of Camalot and not England in this case. Not believing in birthright aside that's what drawing the sword meant.

Colby didn't even flinch at Layla's glare. Her anger rolled right off him and he kept a crooked smile up. Though Matthew's anger did seem to break his smile, even if just a little. He wanted to apologize and make a promise to Matthew that he wouldn't do that again. But he didn't dare do that in front of the others. And he couldn't actually make the promise. There was no way he could keep it.

He watched as the creepy girl Megan drew the sword. Colby didn't lie to himself as he was a little jealous that she got to be the royalty. Colby though knew he would not be a good King, let alone Prince. Some people were not meant to be in positions of power, and Colby was one of those people. Heck, he had refused any manager position back home at work. He just liked working with the kittens and rescues.

Later, he decided, when he had some alone time with Matthew. Then he would apologize for his rash actions. But for now, he just kept his crooked grin on his face.

Andy's eyes went wide as Rebecca jumped through a portal. She didn't even get a chance to say goodbye. While things had been tense Andy liked Rebecca. She looked to Arthur who looked just as surprised as her. She stepped closer to him. Her feelings mirrored his a lot. But her heart also had her brother in it. Whatever else could be said about being with camp she had a family now, however small, and Arthur.

There were no more dragons, well no more to fight. The last still chased after the now gone image that Rebecca had created. She wanted to give a sigh of relief that they were out of the fight, but Andy didn't believe they would have much rest time. She looked up to the sky. A part of her angry at her father, he brought her into the world and abandoned her mother. And somehow from there, she had been left behind. Always. She was always being left behind. "Arthur, don't leave me." She whispered, quietly that he probably couldn't even hear her.

Emily smiled brightly and let Milo cuddle up against her neck as Marco caressed her. It felt so nice to be loved. She was truly loved. Marco never gave her conditions to be loved either. Something that she had never experienced before being with him. Emily gave Milo some pets letting the soft critter soak away her worries and fears.

Niah nodded. "I can also see if I can piss him off if we need it. People say dumb things when they are angry." Niah offered. It was her other gift. The one she didn't particularly care about in the grand scheme of things. There could have been much better powers for her to have inherited. Something that would have worked better with her oath binding. Oath binding did a great job of making her useful in the senate but did a terrible job of being helpful on the field.

Emily gave a nod when Nancy tasked her with being the muscle. She could do that. She could control a field well with her power over plants. She could also fight well enough with a sword. Emily had been in enough fights throughout her life. Emily climbed out of the car and put Milo back in the carrier. It seemed like a really bad idea to keep him out of the carrier in the wilderness. She leaned in so just Marco could hear her as she did, "Thank you, I needed that."

Niah climbed out of the car. She took a deep breath of air. "Let me put my armor on now." She said and started putting the armor on. It took a bit of time, but the armor had been well cared for since it had come to be in her possession. "Uh, is the car paid for alright?" Niah asked Marco. She might not be as lost as Nancy and Mads with new technology but she was still a few years behind since she had been at camp the last four years, and before that she had been a kid living in a different country.

Niah gave a small nod as Oliver introduced her to Captain Britan. "Pleasure to meet you." She said. Then let her sense of taste fall back and back until it was gone and her sense of hearing seemed to rule everything. She could hear a pin drop a mile away with her hearing like this. She didn't use the power often, she was thankful it wasn't passive.

So far it seemed like Captain Britain was on the up and up. He was worried about his missing daughter. Not that Niah blamed him. A missing child was a horrifying experience. She cringed mentally as she still hadn't told her parents that their own missing daughter wasn't dead. The two of them needed to have a conversation about how to let tell their parents, or if they should even bother.

Niah kept her hearing attuned to Captain Britain's heart and voice and her eyes on his face. A gentle smile on her face.

Matt listened as Bonnie talked about Ben Barres. That was interesting. He'd have to look the guy up later. It was even cooler that Ben was female to male like he himself was. Despite Asokho's rant, which had made him uncomfortable. It didn't seem like Asokho believed what he had said, more that he was talking about how the general public responded to Trans people. None of what he said was wrong either.

Cass gave them directions, Matt nodded and started looking for secondary exits. There were of course a ton of windows, and it seemed to be Captain America's MO to jump out of them. There were also fire escapes out of every apartment as was necessary. He didn't spot a second door out of the building. There was probably one, but he didn't see one right away. He was more concerned with Rogers deciding to jump out a window, and Matt had no clue which one it might be.

"Fun fact I can control the Bifrost and could just do that. But it's cool I don't want to be involved in this." Dalisy was irritated. She hated Lara and Nadia, and it felt like Arnora was forgetting what skills Dalisy could offer. There was zero motivation for her to be on this quest. Sure, she wanted to help save the world cause her sister lived in it. But she didn't want to be on a quest those two. She'd be near fighting them the whole time. Besides she had a grudge match in the morning if she went on the quest she wouldn't be able to beat the guy up.

"Good luck Runa. Hope you save your dad and all." Dalisy turned around and left the room.

"I'm the punch things type too. I never really got my electricity to go beyond like a few centimeters away from me. If fighting uh...Miss sleepy over there is any indication I doubt I'd be able to get close enough to try." Andy said. She was still looking up at the ceiling where her jacket was a bit frustrated. Andy held her cup of coffee and drank a long sip from it. She finished the cup. Andy wanted another one, but was too interested in what was going on outside to pour herself one. Now that Echo was gone. She wondered if everyone would wear name tags.

"But I am interested. I've heard of him." She left the dining room and went outside with the others. There were a few people on the roof. Andy's stomach dropped with instant regret as she recognized the guy who could control fire from the day before. "Yeah...nope." She mumbled to herself and started back inside. She was not going to get involved in a fight with that guy again, no thank you. The entire reason she had gotten involved the first time was cause there had been purifiers and she hated those guys. Didn't these dudes have anyone else in their group that didn't wield death air, or whatever fire was?
