Niah didn't need to see to fight, but that didn't mean the others didn't need to see. But the light from Raynor was already dying out. He had expended it all. If Matt was lucky Ryanor would have caused himself minor amnesia. Niah bit her lip. Sparky was down. They were struggling against these Iron people and she wasn't much of a fighter. Not really.

However, a thought came to her mind. She scanned the suits looking for a knee on one of the suits that seemed like a weak spot. She noticed one and did what would look like a leg sweep, and just as she hit the back of the knee with her left leg she mentally commanded her leg to send an EMP blast. She hoped it would work...

And it did. The EMP went off and the suit turned off. Bricking on the person in it.

Matt had taken the gauze from Celestine thankful for something to help this situation out. "Bonnie! You need to be here." He said panicked as it appeared Sparky was starting to fade out. She was losing too much blood. He'd rather be fighting, though he had a feeling he wasn't going to be any use in this fight. This was not his strong suit. He also knew that Raynor was going to personally rip Matt's limbs off if given the chance. Especially if Sparky actually died.

He considered paralyzing her. But that might just risk her dying faster. There was a whole lot of light coming from Raynor and Matt didn't dare look over and see what was going on. He even had to squeeze his eyes turning his head from it. "Any luck with the whole stopping them from the inside?" He asked Celestine.

Rose got food, mostly veggies, but a good chunk of meat and an apple. She sat down and laughed. "Honestly, now I want to see you try." She told Layla. "I'm starved too." She said and started digging into her meal. She figured the last time they ate was at breakfast, but that felt like so long ago.

"Do you guys have a farm or do the veggies come from a market, or spoils of fighting Maleficent?" She was curious how they got their veggies since she hadn't seen anything. Maybe they had carts with dirt boxes set up in them so they could move them. But that also would be pretty difficult she couldn't imagine that working out.

"My dex is surprisingly low for a cat." Colby joked. He looked around the basement room. "Uh, looks like a storage room of some sort." He smiled at the purple cat. It was meowing at him. Colby assessed the cat's body language and knew that the cat was happy they were there.

The door opened and a girl was there. Oops. Good thing they hadn't broken the window. "Sorry." Tink had already given the girl a lie so he didn't feel like trying to change it or lie on top of it. That would just cause an issue in his opinion. He would have gone for following the cat since it wasn't even a lie. But he supposed it would work for 'looking for someone'.

"Good luck on this side Alex." Ed gave him a nod, checking he had everything he needed real quick before heading out of the tent. There was a lot of weight on their little trio's shoulders, but he wouldn't want to change places with Alex. Ed was decent with people, or he had been once upon a time when he had cared to be.

"I'm a mutant, I have magic." Ed said. He considered giving a twirl of magic for Thalia but decided against it. The levity didn't feel right. Not these days. He didn't have it in him. "I can manipulate magical force, heal, track, and a few other sundry things. On that note. For the sake of making my life easier if either of you gets hurt mind if I have a couple of strands of hair to use as a focus for my healing?" It sounded crazy and if they wanted to know why he could get into more detail.

Dalisy grinned a bit manically. She was having fun. Maybe it was the actual risk. For once she felt alive again. Without any fanfare, she attacked one of the wolves. Driving her sword deep into it and killed it. Her grin didn't drop. She turned and swung at the other wolf, but missed. It didn't deter her though. She rose her sword up and swung down hard on the back of the wolf, bone broke. And the sword cut through its spine.

"Two less wolfies in the world." There was a hint of sadness in her voice as she said it. "Suppose we should go check on the others. Make sure they are getting out of the elevator okay." She looked around the space where the elevators rode up and down. Part of her wanted to just dive off the top of the elevator, but she knew that'd be a really bad idea right now. Instead, she went over to the opening back down into the elevator and offered a hand for Klara or Astrid if they needed it.

Andy sighed relieved when the combined attack worked. She grinned. "Yeah, again!" It was clear the woman was being defeated by the combined attack. Andy didn't know how else they would have been able to fight her. She flicked the lightning chain again. And Zari attacked at the same time. It worked again. But the smoky lady was still there.

Andy frowned. Okay, this was working. They just need to do it again, hopefully, that would be enough. "One more try." She looked at Zari and prepared to attack the woman with the lighting chain again. There was a whole lot of other stuff going on. She really hoped that all the others would be okay. The rain might actually help.

Niah caught what Bonnie was saying, or rather not saying. This world was Raynor's so she wasn't defending him because he was guilty of whatever it was he had done here. Though Niah believed there was likely trumped-up charges. That sort of thing was endemic to societies like this one. A very terrible thought crossed her mind. She couldn't let this place have her leg.

Cass gave the order and she let go of Oliver's hand and drew her ICER, not wanting to be wanted for murder. She had to be careful not to ruin whatever sort of life this world's Niah had carved out here. The ICER would be clearly useless. Niah sighed, and picked up one of the EMP arrows that had missed.

Everything was very bizarre and surreal. Matt wasn't quite certain how to process it. So he pushed those thoughts aside and figured he'd think about it later when there was time to think about it. Cass gave the order. His Cass, thank goodness for the accent difference. Matt followed through moving quickly to step between Maria and the Iron. She could shoot around him and that'd give her some protection.

Matt pulled his gun, there wasn't much hope since the goons were all wearing the Iron man like suits, but Matt had to try something. He couldn't touch any of them because of that. He aimed for the visor of one of them and the bullet hit dead on, but ricocheted. For a brief moment Matt didn't know what happened. But then he saw Sparky. She had wound right near her heart. And everything tunneled. He dashed over to try to keep her stable.

It was interesting hearing about Klara and Runa's childhood. He was glad to hear that the Warriors three weren't among Runa's tormentors. Though they hadn't gone out of their way for her, they at least hadn't been mean. Something that it seemed a lot of Asguard had done. Klara was talking about her childhood and the Warriors Three were corroborating what she said. Was he overthinking it? She was being protective of Runa too. Maybe the spell really hadn't worked. Ed wished he had gotten a hair from Klara, but she hadn't been on Earth when he had collected them.

Sure werewolves, because why not. Ed thought as they entered the Palace and saw what the group was fighting. Guin was bleeding, which didn't surprise him. Everyone else looked okay, even Lance, who was standing in a pile of rubble. All of that and Ed figured the group could use help fighting more than the healing. He reached into his pocket and touched the small shield there. At first, nothing happened and Ed took a deep slow breath and cast the spell again. This time the orange bubble appeared around the last werewolf.

"I don't know how well this will contain the creature. I suggest getting ready to attack it as a group effort." Ed said holding the magic around the werewolf.

Rose perked up at the idea of a competition. She knew she was going to be outclassed, but that didn't make it any less fun. She and Cassi had been rivals for years so they were used to losing to each other on and off. They probably had equal amounts of wins and losses against each other if someone ever cared to sit down and count them.

First, food. She was hungry. She followed over to the mess hall area and watched gathering her bearings before getting her own food and finding a table that they could all sit at. "You know Layla, you can throw knives in the competition too. It won't be like the ones back home where there are rules saying it is an archery competition only." She smiled.

"Thanks." Colby said, he was brushing off the fall. "I didn't know cats could phase through walls here." He said looking at the spot where the cat had gone in a flash of purple light. Silky jumped back on his shoulder having evacuated it when he fell. She wrapped herself around his shoulder like a scarf and Colby was glad he didn't have Jackson with him too at the moment, the pair of them would be struggling to both keep on his shoulder in that situation.

He tried the window that Tink had found, it was locked. "Tink, do you mind?" He asked her quietly. She was able to unlock it with her magic. He really hoped that the city didn't have some sort of magic detection system. He should have asked more questions. With the window unlocked he was able to open it and climb through. He waited to help the others through.

Niah was relieved that Oli was able to turn solid, though his explanation made that relief short-lived. If he was only able to do it by concentrating... that was really bad. She chewed her lip thinking. They all got onto the train and it started hurdling to the next stop. Hurdling through a world they barely knew anything about. She wished her sister, specifically her sister, was here. Dalisy had been world-hopping since she had been re-written back into existence and she might have had a clue what was happening. Or better yet, could get them all back home in one piece. Maybe she could find this world's Dalisy...there was a whole lot of if's and maybe's in that thought process so she put it aside as a wild plan Z.

She was just about to turn to Sparky and continue explaining why she was trying to see if Novi had told her about what she had seen in House of M when the train's emergency exit was opened and an Iron-man-Esque suited - Cass joined them. Oh...no. Her stomach did a flip and she looked between the two Cass's the only difference, other than what they wore, was their accents. She held Oli's hand and pulled him a little, trying to put distance between them and the others. If they could pretend they weren't with the main group, and maybe just maybe slip away they could later rescue their friends. She didn't want to split them up, but it would be much better if part of the group was outside the hold of this world's Big Brother. She also didn't dare say anything afraid it would draw attention.

Matt who, for what it is worth, isn't dumb, but just over his head in this situation. Followed along with the much smarter rest of the team. He sort of had a grasp of what was going on now. But if he had been asked to explain it to a ten-year-old it would have been something like "well we got teleported to another world that was sort of like ours but not quite and my friends were actually wanted criminals".

He really didn't know what to think when Cass was there to arrest three members of the group...and congratulate two of them for their work in capturing them. It sort of hurt his head and at this point, he was decided he was just along for the ride. He'd punch or shoot if and when deemed necessary, otherwise, he'd let the heavy thinking be left to the professionals in the matter.

What Leda said made sense and tracked with what Mads and her friends had said about it too. There didn't seem to be any hope, except for the one small bit where two demi-gods had survived being there once. She had a dozen questions about them, but she was trying too hard to keep from crying.

Andy was trying to contain herself, but she wasn't doing a good job. With Arthur holding her hand and giving it a squeeze and Kiera hugging her started sobbing. She hated that she was being a baby. But she was glad that her brother and Aunt didn't seem to be around. She hadn't seen where Demi had gone, and she knew that her Aunt was having a meeting with the other Romans.

When Kiera asked if prophecies could be changed Andy looked to Leda with hope. Could they? The way Mads and her friends had talked about it it hadn't seemed like it. Did Mads have hope of surviving? If it had happened before there was hope at least. No one could say it was impossible.

Niah was relieved that Daniella agreed and that the senate's vote allowed for it. She nodded and gave the young woman a warm smile. She probably hadn't been expecting the promotion. Daniella probably came to this meeting expecting it to be an average one. There was a future where they would need to replace Nancy too. Niah didn't know how much longer Nancy would be willing to be Praetor, especially without Mads.

"I believe all we need to do is approve the quest." Niah said, her voice deep with emotion. "I approve it." She said holding her hand up. They hadn't really talked about the quest. But that was the way of prophecies sometimes, they just happened. They would unfold as they saw fit. Trying to avoid them would often cause worse outcomes.
