Edus Penior

Skill: Magic (force)

Ed didn't understand why Guin was making a joke about the Bechdel test in this case. If she had wanted to go on a mission with one of the females then why didn't she say so? And he had asked about Lance as that was the first name that had popped into his head from the others. She was a strange one. He ran, listening to their footfalls behind him. And thankfully it was only the three of them. They didn't seem to be followed.

They ran for several blocks before Guin found an entrance to the sewer. He climbed down, ready to help Thalia with the cover if she needed it. Once that was secure he followed after Guin who knew the way back to the headquarters. If Ed had been lost above ground in a city he had never lived in before the minor apocalypse plaguing it, he was certainly lost below ground.
Emzie was pleased that Raynor defeated the strange droid. They were uncertain of what to think about his instance that the droid was alive. This would be something they would have to discuss when not under the time crunch of their current mission. Checking their internal chronometer. The battle above the planet was waging. They could still hope that their success here would help the battle above. But it might have been too late already.

"I still only have a blaster. An ineffective weapon against destroyer droids." Emzi said mater of factly to Raynor. They still fired at the droid trying to prove their point. But in the moment of shooting at it, the droid's shield seemed to falter and the blast hit it directly destroying it. Emzie looked at the droid. "It seems I have succeeded in destroying the destroyer droid." Their voice carried a hint of amusement.

"We should continue moving immediately. Our mission is already behind." Emzie started down the hallway following the line on their map. Whatever luck that had allowed Emzie to kill the droid did not hold for them as they came to a t-section of the hallway where the guard station was located. There was luck in the type of guards they found though. There were seven B1-Series battle droids. A lot, maybe too many, but a weaker type than the destroyer droids.

Zari had had enough. She wanted to leave. And that was fine with Andy. Before Andy could turn to follow Polaris had spoken again. Andy could understand Magneto's anger. That didn't change the small snap in her. The one that had lost faith that'd she be happy here now.

Magento asked for his token back. She looked at him, her eyes wide. A degree of fear was written on her features. What had just happened was irreconcilable. She saw the rift between Zari and Magneto and knew there would never be a bridging between the two again.

Andy had wanted to step out for air. For a moment of quiet to think, but now she knew that leaving was forever. Her heart was with Zari. "Can we get our things?" She asked quietly, she had so few things. Her eyes looking to the ground. Memories of fights with foster families played through her mind.

"There is nothing wrong with clones. Just that we aren't. And I don't care if you're a woman or not." Niah shrugged. Unconcerned with the threat of Wolverine's claws. She seemed more tired then scared. Most of her response was directed at Wolverine though. She did then glance at Flynn and said, "It is more it is getting old being called that."

Niah chewed over the thought of having a psychic fiddle with her memories and wondered what sort of nonsense that would do to her brain. It was pretty scrambled and had taken a while to get her memories sorted between the different worlds. That probably would have been easier with the help of a psychic. She looked at Maria when she mentioned that Prism was this world's Novi. If anyone could go 'ah yeah these guys are from another universe' it'd be her. That was reassuring actually. And she looked forward to meeting her.

Then they were teleported away to yet another location. Niah didn't look around too much. She was too focused on Oliver. She was torn when they were told that those who were uninjured should leave. That would mean leaving Oliver. Something she did not want to do. She spent a moment pulling at the thought. Was it her own? Or was it her counterparts? "Oli, will you be okay?" She asked. She knew the answer she wanted.

"I'll be okay, but I'd rather you stay with me. I know it's selfish, but I love you and I don't want to be alone through this." Niah gave him a small smile in return and nodded. Refusing to leave.

Matt chooses to keep his mouth shut. Sometimes that really is the best course of action. He wasn't fond of the idea of being taken to Genosha. At least here there wasn't the innate hatred for Inhumans that the Mutants had back home. There were good reasons, but it didn't mean it was right.

When they were teleported away he was a little irritated. But was stunned by the beauty of the place. He wondered if there was a place like this on their world Genosha. If so, how had either been created? It looked primordial.

He was injured so he stayed. Waiting to see what happened. His injury wasn't bad at least. Flynn was obviously the one who should be cared for first. He glanced at Bonnie and wondered if she would allow herself to be examined.

Ed Penior

Location: New York City Defenders HQ
Skills:

Ed hugged Annie back tightly. Smiling at her. "I'm glad you're okay too. You'll have to tell me what all you guys did while we were separated. Later, when we have some quiet time." He nodded as Mary explained their experiences. He was curious about what the other group had encountered. For now, though they should work on how to get home. Going to Stark tower seemed like it could be a good idea. Hopefully, there wasn't another group there. But that was unlikely.

When Strange entered the room and made Stark appear Ed was surprised. Stark was dead here. His death had been a major catalyst for this world. Had his spirit just been watching it all fall apart? That had to be unpleasant. He wondered for a moment if his sister's spirit still roamed the world and had seen him. If so what did she think of all he had done?

Rose Buckner

Location: The Moors
Skills:

Rose raised an eyebrow at Rosalia's confession that she had followed a fairy out into the woods. She bit her tongue to keep herself from calling Rosalia an absolute idiot. For all her professing about 'common sense' she apparently wasn't genre-savvy. Had the girl never read a Grimm fairy tale? Or a single source for any of the Disney films? Sure this place seemed to be Dinsey-afied, but that did not mean fairies were safe. "I can find the way back."

She turned around and started her way back to where the caravan had stopped because of the wolves. Rose shook her head. If Rosalia wanted to think of herself above everyone else then fine. When she returned to the caravan she found Merlin and said, "Merlin, there is an injured man at the lake claiming to be Lancelot. Do you mind following me and identifying him?" When he agreed she led the way back to the lake.

Colby Jackson

Location: Agrabah
Skills:

Colby took his paper, and folded it carefully into three parts then slid it into an inside pocket. The plan in general seemed okay. He could see some weak spots. Could see how things could go sideways. Mentally he chewed over those. He didn't like how the guards grabbed the one man off. Now wasn't the time to think of it.

His adoptive parents had tried to instill in him the concept of right and wrong. Maybe they'd be proud of him right now as he thought that this was essentially a fascist regime and he wasn't going to let this world live with it. He didn't know yet if he'd go back to Kansas after this, but a part of him knew he probably wouldn't be able to. He'd be too changed. He had read a handful of portal fantasy books over the years and he always wondered about the ones who went home. How did they cope with it?

When they got to the front he pulled his paper out and flicked it open. He gave an easy grin. This one was full, not his usual half-grin that he gave when he was actually happy about something.
Emzie was confused now. The droid had no life sign how could it be alive. "There are no life signs." Emzie reassured. They were not certain what Raynor was sensing. Maybe the situation had gotten to the young man. Now was not the time to dwell on that though. Emzie set about trying to take care of the thankfully currently broken destroyers.

"I do not have the means to take out these droids." They announced. A tinge of annoyance in their voice. "I can only continue to distract them." It was fortunate that the droids didn't have the best aim and Emzie had been programmed for evasive maniviours, and their chassis was surprisingly resilient. Something Avar Kriss had specifically requested when Emzie had been designed.

There was something Emzie thought of. A weakness near the point of origin for the shield. However, again they lacked the tools to deal with it. Checking a third body gave nothing that could help and Emzie wondered if the bodies had already been stripped but left behind. They kept that thought to themselves, or they would have if the follow-up thought did not occur to them. "I fear we were anticipated." Emzie did not like that. This mission was too critical. They raised their blaster at the strange droid and shot, missing widely. There wasn't time for failure. It was already too late.

Location: In the van
Skill:

Andy and Arthur sat next to each other. She was thankful for his presence. Thankful for this bit more time with him. She looked around the van wondering if everyone in there would be coming back. She didn't want any of them to die. But she knew it was a danger of quests. She knew that it was important that they were in groups of three. Her group wouldn't be complete until Mads joined them.

Niah got in letting them know Mads was on her way. That was everyone but Mads now. She didn't know if Argus would be annoyed at the longer delay. She got the feeling that the others were though. They had the drive to get to the City and then from there the group would split up heading in their separate directions. She knew that Niah's group needed to go to California. Other than that she didn't know where anyone was actually going, not even her own group.

Location: Big house (outside) -> Into the van
Skills:

Niah nodded to Zeke, like him not knowing what to say. He wasn't her friend, so there wasn't much. Niah leaned into the group hug. "Imagine we are there." Then after a couple of beats took a step back. There was a lot she wanted to say. But she decided with, "Don't worry Joanie. Nancy would never hurt you." She smiled. "We should get to the van before the Greeks get any madder."

She turned, and as soon as she was facing away from Nancy her smile dropped and her eyes shone with unshed tears. She quickly walked over the hill to the van joining the Greeks in it. "Sorry for the delay. Mads should be right behind me." She found an empty seat and buckled in.
Emzie had been working for Jedi for a long time. They had passed through several hands. This was not the first droid they had seen wielding a lightsaber, but it never spelled good things. "This appears to be an IG-110." Emzie said almost automatically. They did not go into detail.

Emzie did not have gernades. If they could breathe they'd sigh. No wonder this mission was going sideways. The IG-110 was designed to destroy Jedi. This mission had been compromised. The Jedi had been expected. So now they needed to do something unexpected. They turned to the bodies nearby and searched quickly, not finding anything of use in the first body. Time ticked by and Emzie could measure it by the seconds. The second was just as useless.

Very well. The bodies would not supply anything useful. They would have to do something else. They dropped to their knee and instead took shots at the lightsaber-wielding droid. Their shots were good and clear, but the other was faster.

Niah Bautista

Location: Mount Rushmore, South Dakota
Skills:

Niah laughed. It was good to laugh. She was smiling as she headed toward the mouth of the cave. In a way, she felt invincible. Some of the coins she had grabbed looked familiar and were from all over the world and at different times. This dragon had done a lot of hoarding. "Feels bad to leave so much behind. Maybe we can convince the Senate to send a group here just to gather it. Obviously, leave anything cursed behind."

She didn't take the coin from Nancy, there was no reason. She had no idea how much gold she had shoved into her bag, but she was not concerned about money at the moment. Maybe she could send some to her dad. He only had her baby brother, since her sister had disappeared and she had been sent to America. Maybe she could hire a private detective to find her sister? She let the pipe dreams play across her mind and then let most of them die.

At the mouth of the cave, she tried to get the armor to lift her up again. Nothing happened. Stupid probably cursed armor. "Grab onto me." She told her friends. Yes, friends. There was no way around that now. Once they had a hold of her she focused on the armor again getting it to lift her and then out into the nothingness, before decending them back to the ground.
