Aunt Mads was able to fix the wings. Andy smiled brightly. Her book had come in handy. She glanced at Mary, "I found it." She said, putting the book back into her bag.

She followed Mary and Mads further into the Labyrinth. Through the destroyed workshop and down some stairs. Chocolate behind her. His breath hitting her hand. The place was darker now. In more ways than one, she felt. Maybe taking the wings had been a bad idea.

Skills: Sword fighting

Niah had been startled by the harpies hitting the side of the train. She cursed and took several quick bites of food. Knowing she wouldn't get a chance until after the fight. And if all went poorly, the food would be lost in the process. Hopefully, they wouldn't also get kicked off the train.

She drew her invisible sword until the last second and used it to get a sneak attack with it on the Harpy trying to hurt her. She got it. The Harpy pulled away. Injured but still alive. She adjusted her stance wider to compensate for the train's movement and stabbed at the Harpy again. A part of her was relieved. The longer they went without a fight, the tenser she got. It seemed as if it was quiet for a long time; it was more likely to have a big fight. She missed. Maybe that was quest paranoia, or maybe there was something to it. Quiet quests seemed to be the most dangerous, though.

She swung again to stab at the Harpy, but she dodged the sword. Niah was getting frustrated. But she couldn't allow that to mess her up. Heck her whole thing was pissing off others to throw them off their game. She swung again. Hitting this time, but the Harpy survived it.

"Don't go for kill shots then. Incapacitate. We hopefully won't always be in a situation where we can't take prisoners like we are right now. And soon, the fight will be over." She wasn't hurt that Cassi wasn't affectionate back. Rose didn't require it.

She wondered how far off Rosalia had gotten. And how long it would take for her to get back. She also wondered why miss hate everything had even bothered joining them. Mab had been invited too but hadn't joined. There had been someone else too? There was a sudden sense of a long time having passed since this all started, but she knew it had only been a few days.

Through the portal, Colby paused with Maddie to take in what there was. Now Merlin had the lamp. Part of Colby was terrified of that. The most powerful wizard in every story ever holding one of the most powerful artifacts in all those stories. If Merlin were anything less than what he was in King Arthur tales (and maybe just as he was in some of them), this could be as bad as Malificent getting it.

Colby looked where Maddie was indicating and spotted the woman. Yeah, the long hair was a dead giveaway. He shrugged. "Let's find out." He started over to where Rapunzel was carrying for the injured. "So...Does your hair glow?" He guessed it might not since she wasn't using it to heal. But that might help narrow down which they were talking to, without asking questions like 'where is Flynn?'
Oh, look, an updated Andy.

It was a start. Also, thank God Amelia was okay. A part of Niah's brain had screamed that Amelia was sure to be dead from the attacks of the doom bots, but she wasn't. But this wasn't going to work well. There were too many. She looked over toward Oli to tell him to help, but something very weird was going on over there. He was attacking Matt, then Maria knocked him out with a touch, but then she started to attack Matt. What was going on?

"Oliver!" She cried out. Niah pushed herself up onto her single leg. No! Whatever stupid thing was going on now, just no. A few terrible ideas flashed through her mind before she grasped an idea that wasn't totally insane. Okay, it was insane. But what wasn't these days?

She sat back down. Niah pulled an item she hadn't really needed to carry around for a while. It was a small case with two earbuds in it. She remembered the crushed look on Tinley's face when she had decided to keep the earbuds, but it had never been because of her. It had been in case of other telepaths. It didn't matter right now. She took out a pocket knife and carefully pulled the earbuds apart. Then she closed the pyramid, not dismissing whatever weird science was happening with it; she still needed the portal.

Niah thought about what she wanted it to do. She wanted the earbuds to interfere with the doom bots and draw them into the pyramid. It would take forever to get them all otherwise. And she sent off a little prayer to whoever might be listening. With the earbuds and the Kree tech combined, she set the pyramid back down on the ground and re-opened it. She scooted away quickly. Hoping it would work.

And it did. Dozens and hundreds of the bots started flying toward the pyramid and were sucked into the void on the other side. It seemed about half of the doombots fell for it. She didn't dare let the relief of that set too deep. There was still work to do.

Things didn't make sense. He had no idea why he was here. But he knew one thing. The man standing next to him was a monster. Oliver Sullivan. A serial killer. Matt had been trying to catch him for years. And here was on a silver platter for him. Oliver attacked, but Matt could avoid it and even took his weapon away.

A strange woman he didn't know but somehow knew him took Oliver down. He wasn't certain how, but he appreciated the help. "Thank y-" He started. But was cut off when she punched him. Matt reached out and grabbed her ungloved hand. He sent out a blast of his paralytic into her.

It was odd, though. He felt fuzzy around the edges as he did it. And he was suddenly tired.

"Trauma doesn't make people strong. It makes them brittle." Ed said. He tried not to breathe in the smoke that was filling the air. He thought of the phrase 'what doesn't kill me makes me strong' and how much he hated it, especially since almost his entire family had been wiped out.

The air was getting hard to breathe. But Guin was still safe in the bubble he had created for her. And something had fallen out of the sky. He needed to know what it was. But Mary was standing where it had fallen. He frowned. Had it hit her? What had the thing been?

"Mary, are you okay?"

Mage

Mage knew something was broken. That last hit from the hulk had done some damage. Breathing was rough. He blinked black stars that were threatening to take him into unconsciousness away. He held up a thumbs up for Nightlock. It wasn't totally true, but he wasn't dead. He could take care of himself, though, since he didn't have the green guy continuing to beat up on him. Nightlock could focus on the two from the other group while he focused on healing himself.

Orange light surrounded him and darkened, pulling in close to him before disappearing. He took a deep breath. His ribs no longer felt like they were broken. He still hurt. There was no getting around the pain that easily. But at least he could breathe. He considered staying on the ground for a moment longer but decided that would be a quick way to get stepped on. Or worse. So he stood up.

Rose looked over at Cassi. She knew that Layla was comforting her. But still wanted to be by her side. She quickly obeyed Robin Hood, then came over to her girlfriend's side. She leaned in.

Rose could understand Cassi's feelings, but she didn't quite agree. They had done what they needed to. These people were a threat and needed to be taken out of the equation. So she didn't say anything. She just was there for Cassi.

Colby pet the cats. He bumped slightly into Maddie. "You sure know how to make things awkward." He said, giving Maddie his goofy lopsided smile.

There was a new portal now. Another place for them to go. He hated to leave the cats again, but he couldn't, in good consciousness, bring them into dangerous territory. It had been good they had left them here, to begin with. Silky should be safe with him. Now that they weren't in the land that banned magic. He tapped his shoulder for her.

"Guess we head to the next place then." He said. Holding his hand out for Maddie to take before crossing the portal to the next tower.

Andy felt great. Her body seemed to sing. Her skin felt warm and cool at the same time. She lay on the ground, not realizing she was naked yet. She breathed in through her nose and out her mouth. She sat up after a moment and knew immediately that she wasn't 10 feet tall anymore. That was fantastic. She didn't really want to be ten feet tall. She wanted to be normal.

Looking around, she noticed everyone was naked; looking down, she saw she was too. Her face warmed up. But Veil was asking her a question. She looked over. Andy opened her mouth to respond. Did she want to care for the box that held her mother? What would she do with it? How was she supposed to protect it when she didn't have anywhere to go? But Magento was saying they did have somewhere to go.

She glanced at Zari. Then nodded. "I'll take her. One of us has to be responsible." She meant between her and Selene, but it could be interpreted differently. Andy held out her hand for the acheron.

Andy frowned, thinking about the name. It was familiar. "The guy who made the Labyrinth? This is his workshop?" She looked around, surprised. "I wonder if there is something else in here? But all I found was the wing stuff."

She then got a bright smile as an idea crossed her mind. She put everything down and opened her backpack, and started digging through and pulling out the magic book she had gotten magically. She flipped through it and found a magical repair spell. Andy tried to do the spell, but nothing happened. She frowned and tried again. Sighing, she looked up to Mads. "Think you can get the spell to work?"

Niah wondered what Jason meant by it being a fun conversation. She knew conversations with godly parents could be awkward. She got along well enough with her own mother, but she rarely saw her. Well, that was an understatement since she had only met her mother once. Niah paid for her food.

"Let's eat here. Otherwise, we will feel cooped up in the cabin the whole trip. Too bad I don't have a deck of cards or something." She took her food and gently picked up her coffee before sipping it slowly. The warmth of it felt good. "Pick a table." She told Stella. "And get something to eat, Jason." A rule of quests was to eat when you could. Rest when it was safe.

Niah lay on the ground. She knew she should be dead. Several times over. She wasn't sure how she survived this most recent one other than the armor. Her body was in too much pain to focus on much of anything but it. She had the absurd thought that it was a good thing she wasn't pregnant in the field. And that reminded her that she was leaving the field permanently after this mission. Really she shouldn't have come back. The Secret Warriors were just that, Warriors, and she would never be on par with most of the group.

The group was overwhelmed with the Doombots and dealing with Doom and Luminous. But stopping the Doombots seemed impossible. It was like a hydra. She touched a part of the armor. Thinking, 'I need a way to stop these bots.' All the armor disappeared and in her hand appeared a small pyramid. It had a button on it. She frowned and pressed the button.

Niah didn't know what to expect but being nearly blinded had not been it. She was in a shit ton of pain and is now almost blind. But in the pyramid, she understood what she saw. How the hell this was happening was beyond her. But that was fine. She just needed to find a way to get the Doombots into the pyramid with one leg.

Everyone else was busy. Amelia was in the air. She was fighting the bots. "Amelia!" She yelled from her sitting position on the ground. She set the small pyramid off to the side slightly. "Help me by using the air to push the bots into this!" She said, pointing to the glowing spot of the pyramid.

Since Doom was covered in armor, there was no way Matt could get a touch against his skin. How that had worked for the shield was beyond him, but he'd take what miracles he could. He turned his attention to Luminous. Who was distracted doing magic. Both Oliver and Maria were focused on her. But if he could bring her speed down they'd have an even better chance.

Getting a touch on a speedster was hard. And it never seemed to last as long as it could on others. But it would give them an opening. He moved carefully and found a spot. He touched it and let out a good blast of his paralytic. Luminous slowed down. Anyone else, and they probably would have collapsed.

Mary had caused some serious destruction. Ed thought as he tried to breathe through clenched teeth. He was pretty certain he had blacked out for a second too. He didn't know how he had ended up in the brambles. One moment Mary was saying something in German. The next, he was in the bush, trying to remember how to breathe.

He heard Guin's voice. But he knew it wasn't her. This Guin sounded broken. And was trying to break their Guin. Of course, they had their differences. And Ed wouldn't admit it normally, but he liked Guin. He stood up shakily and touched the precious shield charm reaching out to protect her. The first time didn't work. Understandable. But the second time, a dome of orange light surrounded Guin. "Wrong." He said, looking at Haze.

Mage

"Who is to say I am not trying?" He asked rather rhetorically since Runa was gone through the portal. The Hulk was kicking his ass. "I was focusing on him because he was throwing shit at me before this!" He shouted at Nightlock. It was harder to concentrate now. Mage had a feeling he had gotten a concussion. That boulder had hit him hard enough he was bleeding. Headwounds were always worse than they looked through.

He pulled at his magic, wrapping it around himself to heal. It wasn't very effective, but it would do for now. Then he focused on the green guy again. He was throwing more force blasts at the hulk. It seemed to damage him some. But unless they got the hulk down quickly, they would be in a world of hurt.
