"Yeah, I'm okay." Andy nodded at her aunt's question. She resisted saying something snarky to the boy. Andy was irritated at him and while she didn't say anything mean to him she was frowning.

"Apology accepted." Andy couldn't blame him, not really. But she could hold a grudge. She decided she didn't like the boy. Arthur would never have done that to someone. Not after a million years in the Labyrinth.

She didn't sit down. Andy just wanted to leave. Even if this was a good place for them to rest. They really could use something relatively safe to sleep in. Andy wasn't certain how long they had been traveling, but her feet hurt. She didn't want to complain, but they had done a whole lot of walking.

"So we're in agreement, food then find somewhere reasonably comfortable to sleep at." A hotel would be nice because those tend to be safe. There were of course exceptions. There always were. She shuddered and got a little angry knowing Nancy was heading to the worst of them all. She missed her friends. She wished they could have stayed together.

"I'll have a chicken sandwich, no mayo, please. And a large drink." Niah ordered, holding out her coupon for the person tending the till. She stepped aside so Stella and Jason could order too. She would fill the drink with soda for the meal and then switch to water after that. Water was always good and important to drink while on a quest.

"Maybe we can ask around for a hotel after we eat." Niah had a feeling a lot of the hotels nearby might get filled quickly with people who all had vouchers too. She hoped that there would be at least one room they could share.

Emzie mourned the loss of another Jedi. They paused at the breathing body of one of the clones. Someone was alive. Emzie gently placed Ryanor on the ground again and moved to Commander Firtick's side. They checked and found a few wounds, and one on his head explaining why he was unconscious. It took a bit of work but Emzie was able to bring the Commander to consciousness.

"Be gentle Commander, but I need your assistance. Commander Raynor has lost consciousness due to some gas. We are unable to complete the original mission. The secondary option of the self-destruct is the best option we have." What had already been almost a suicide attack was now likely to be the only option. But the Republic needed them.

Commander Firtick seemed to be concussed but at least he could stand. They must hurry. Emzie lifted Raynor back up and continued following the path. Expecting Firtick to follow.

Well, that was serendipitous. Niah smiled at the guy hoping he would take pity on them. She wondered what he was doing out here in what was nearly the middle of nowhere except for some defaced rocks. Maybe he had seen the dragon.

She pulled out one of the gold coins from her pocket and held it out to him. It wasn't camp money and he'd know that. But he could exchange it for cash at any of those cash-for-gold places. If it was a special coin it might even be more than its weight in gold too.

Priorities, Ed had to get Toad off of his face again. His face was starting to hurt enough that he wanted to heal it. Ed gave a good force blast at Toad, who flew back several feet. Orange light then surrounded his face, healing the acid damage that Toad had done to it so far.

"Pyro said something about securing his spot in paradise. Not sure what the heck he is talking about." Ed answered Neil's question as best as he could with the information he had.

Ed had yet to get a strand of hair from the newbies so he would have to get into touch range to heal them. Since OfAll had been tossed into a wall, Ed moved over to where she was.

"Have some healing." He said reaching out and touching her hand. The same orange light that had just covered his face now spread over her healing some of her wounds.

"Sorry we haven't had the conversation about this yet, but uh...Later can I have a hair from you so if I need to heal you from farther away I can?" Ed asked quickly, watching Toad.

Andy smiled at Leah's comment about her kick. She could just imagine the pride in her ...well the pride in the voice of the Drummonds. It felt like ages since she had had a proper fight like that, and even though it had been so short it was nice. She knew it had been both ages since she lived in the gym and also only a few months.

"Hi. I'm Andy. Yeah, I'm new. But not like a Freshman. Or a Senior. I mean I'm a transfer so yeah I'm new." Andy stumbled a bit trying to figure out exactly how to put it. Explaining she had time traveled was off the table. Hopefully, Ed would accept 'transfer' as a good enough excuse.

"No, I haven't been here yet. What is this place?" She asked. It looked alien and futuristic to her, which if she was honest a lot of things did. Her phone buzzed. She pulled it out, half expecting it to be a text from her mom. Even though Selene was with her, she had been oddly quiet since she had basically forced Andy into getting into a fake swordfight. However, it was an email from Victoria.

"Maybe another time. My girlfriend and her roommate are going to the fortune teller's tent right now and I wanted to go too." Andy says, shoving her phone back into her pocket. "Leah?"

If Emzie was capable of blinking they would be. Staring at the no unconscious body of Raynor. Quickly they went over priorities in their mind. A decision was made. Emzie dragged Raynor out of the room and back into the hallway, checking for more droids. Emzie knew the basics of first aid. This was not a scrape. But they figured fresh air would be good.

They also had no idea how to set the charges. Raynor could not. They could not. But they had the spare lightsaber that Raynor had removed from the not-a-droid-droid. Fine. Brute force it would be. Emzie returned to the room. Turned on the lightsaber and started dragging it through the machines.

It was not easy. The parts that Emzie figured would be the best to destroy the system was hard to reach. She had no desire to throw the weapon. The weapon was also hard to manipulate. Some of the machines stopped working. But Emzie assessed the situation and knew it would not be enough. And Raynor needed to be returned to the Bacta tank. The mission. Was it already too late?

There had to be something to stop the factory. A self-destruct. But it wouldn't be here, which meant they would have to find it. Get to it. And survive the whole thing. They picked up the bag of spilled charges and placed it back in their storage compartment, where they also placed the now turned-off lightsaber.

Emzie left the room pulling up the map. Picked up Raynor again and started following a new path.

Rose looked at the carriage that Layla pointed out. She sighed slightly. Well, that explained what had happened with Rosalia. "Priority should be the rescue. Recon comes secondary. If we can get some done while rescuing that's fine." She looked at Robin Hood, really hoping he agreed.

"And do you mean the entrance Cassie found? Does that map have any of the interior layouts or are we going in blind?" Rose was suddenly very concerned about how this was going to go. There were people on the inside at risk. This was no longer something they could easily leave if they got over their head. If they left Flynn and Rosalia inside the castle they had no idea what would happen to them.

Colby was pleasantly surprised with the kiss. Maddie had a point. They hadn't had much of a chance to have alone time. Maddie's lips had tasted of honey and that was nice. Honey and cheese. "Don't apologize for kissing me. I like it when you do."

Colby laughed, dusting his hair a bit, away from the food. "Yeah a shower would be nice. Maybe after we do the magic practice." Colby really wanted to do that before too long. He took a few more bites of food. He had been very hungry and wanted to fill up. The charcuterie board was tasty too. There were good mixes of stuff. He chewed on some meat thinking.

"We can take a shower later together." Colby winked at Maddie. "However, I'm about ready to go out and learn some magic." He popped some cheese into his mouth. [color=#bf85f2]"You?"[color] Maddie agrees, Colby wraps his fingers through Maddie's own, and the pair join their fathers outside.

"Yes please." Colby says nodding.

NO! Andy didn't care that Mads was trying to talk the kid down. She shocked the boy. He didn't let go of her. So she did it again and this time twisted pulling away from him.

"Do that again and I'll send you to meet Hades." Andy said glaring at the kid. "Now if you want to talk like normal people sure. But you don't sneak up and hold a dagger to people's throats. Especially if that person can zap you."

She crossed her arms and harumphed. She didn't care if it meant they had to leave without food. She didn't even care that he was wearing the classic orange shirt, which meant he was from camp. Andy didn't know him.

Taking a look around the room Niah sighed. "Alright I have to admit I don't want to sleep here. But food then we can discuss sleeping." She was really hungry at this point. Having not eaten since breakfast. If she saw a harpy again she'd probably just stab it.

Quests were done better with friends. She remembered the quest she had taken with Nancy and Mads ages ago. They hadn't been friends yet. But that quest had made them all very close. Would this quest make the three of them friends? She sighed and looked at the menu on the wall trying to decide what to eat.

There was already a line starting to from at the counter, so Niah joined it. She figured she could decide what to eat before she got to the front. And since she was starving she'd eat just about anything at this point.

"Uh, well I kicked you. And you passed out. So I won this round. I'm glad you're okay." She offered a hand to Leah. Andy looked around trying to figure out where the source of the music was coming from. "Hold on, let me get my stuff. That music started playing randomly after you passed out." Andy ran over to her stuff pulling on her jacket with some regret, then her backpack, and slipped her shoes back on.

"Want to investigate it with me?" She asks, mostly perfunctorily because she starts off in the direction of the music. "Do you know what the Wii is?" She asks, assuming Leah has followed her. She does glance over her shoulder and smiles when she sees that Leah is following her. Leah shakes her head at the question about the Wii.

"It was this gaming system from the early 2000s. Anyway, the music is from Mario Kart. I played it a bunch..." She sort of trails off realizing she doesn't know how to explain why or how she had a working Wii growing up without saying that she grew up in the early 2000s. And was already alive when the Wii was released in 2006. Not that she actually remembered the Wii's release. To her, it was already an old system when she played it in the 2010s. And by the time she traveled to the future...present...The Wii was basically non-existent. Time was dumb.

The music led the two upstairs to the second floor of the gym. There she found a room filled with what looked like Bacta tanks that contained the school's virtual reality training software - the Framework. Andy only knew the name. She looked around the room and saw a young-looking man, probably 17 or 18 standing at the controls, programming in new virtual worlds - one of which seems to be Mario Kart.

"Uh, hi?" She says. Hopefully loudly enough for the guy to hear her.

Ed took a few bites of his food. It was good. He liked charcuterie boards. Any bite was never quite the same. If you put the right things on the plate too it would always be a good bite too. Then the earth shook. He paused mid-bite. And everyone started heading out. Ed looked at the plate and sighed.

Stepping out the front door into chaos. Ed didn't have a chance to really take it in, because a tongue hit him directly in the face. It stuck there. His face started to burn slightly. Ed threw a small blast of force. The tongue was removed from his face. The attacker was Toad. Ed touched his shield icon in his pocket and tried to bubble him. It took two tries, but he was able to get Toad into a bubble.

He sighed again and looked around the room trying to understand what the hell was going on. What was going on, was mostly chaos. Ed frowned. He had no clue why they were being attacked like this.
