"I've got to return this to my dad." Andy held up the Master Bolt. "We got the sword. Persephone took it back to Hades." She paused in her recitation of what had happened, even shorthand she didn't want to say what was next. How many they had lost. She hoped Kiera could guess from who was missing among their numbers.

She followed Damon into the Empire State Building, but she went for the elevator bank. First, she stopped to talk to the security guard showing him the Master Bolt, which was easy enough to get the key to the 600th floor. Then to return the Master Bolt.

Then to rescue her aunt.

Niah wasn't sure what to do. The payment had been accepted, the cab had driven off almost as soon as they had all gotten out of the cab. As if the drivers couldn't wait a second longer. There were a couple of Greeks there now, they must have been who Andy had been yelling and waving at. "I'm Niah. I'm one of the Roman Senators." Niah introduced herself.

Would she be promoted to Preator now? Did she want that? The responsibility of the whole camp on her shoulders seemed like too much. At least she'd have Nancy. They'd figure it out together.

As long as Nancy came back. She could be strong for Nancy. She couldn't be strong alone.

Ed had started down the hall, but heard voices chatting so he paused and found the four walking through the halls. He smiled at the gathered group. Of them, he knew Mira would know Klara, but the others he didn't think had met her. None of them had been around while they were in space the first time. Mira had met her back during the Jumanji incident.

"Oh, this is a good place to start. Everyone, this is Klara. She is one of the Asgardians that sometimes joins with us. I'm introducing her to everyone, even if you've met her she might not remember due to some memory issues. Her story to tell if she desires. Klara this is, Max, Perry, Mira, and, Jaclyn." Ed said, the last part he gestured to each in turn.

Ed then did some mental math to see who was left for Klara to meet. Marygold, Guin, Bethany, Lance, and Annie were left. He smiled at the group waiting for each to introduce themselves if they desired.

Damon had a point that they should take the Master Bolt back to her father, but she didn't want to have to drag Mary around. She certainly didn't want to leave her in the cab either. But at least from New York City, they could call Argus to come pick them up. Climbing out of the cab, Andy looked around. She felt better on this side of the States. She hadn't realized she had missed New York.

As she looked around she spotted Kiera with someone she didn't recognize. "Hey! Kiera!" She yelled and waved trying to get her attention. Chocolate followed her out of the cab. Andy didn't have any money on her so she couldn't pay the fare. She held onto the Master Bolt still.

"I have Denarius." Niah said. Jason had been carrying a lot of the cash, which was now teleported back to camp. Niah did have twenty Denarius on her, but she wasn't sure if they'd take that.

Niah glanced up to see where Andy was looking. She mostly only knew of Kiera since the girl was a Greek Camper. That did release some of the tension from her though. She was glad there were other campers nearby. She felt like the one adult leading a school trip at the moment since Mary was still unconscious. Niah was also thankful that Jason's sister wasn't the one there. She did not want to be the one to tell yet another person that their family was dead.

At the thought her breath caught and she fought back some tears. Niah quickly covered over that by reaching into her bag and offering the twenty Denarius that she had. Hoping the Grey sisters would take them. They did and she quickly slid out of the taxi joining Andy on the sidewalk.

Ed blinked a little confused about Avery's quick exit as well. "I'm not sure why. I don't think you said anything to offend them." Ed didn't remember that Avery had blown up Klara's eye. A whole lot had happened since then, and Klara's eye was fine now. It was unlikely she held a grudge anyway.

"Well, follow me, Caroline you're welcome to join too. You can probably help fill in the blanks with me. We'll start in the kitchen. There is almost always someone in there. And we can get something to drink and a snack as we swing through." Ed didn't know exactly who all Klara remembered so he figured he'd just introduce everyone as a clean slate. As he led the way to the kitchen Ed tried to think of other places people might be. Their rooms were an obvious answer, but he didn't like the idea of bothering people in their rooms so he hoped not many were there.

Mandy smiled and shook her head at the checkout person. She mouthed thank you. She didn't like her voice. Hearing people commented about it a lot so she avoided using it as much as possible. She gathered her bags of cat-related items and headed back to her car. After loading everything she responded to her parents' text.

"That sounds nice. We should be careful though. I don't know what to think about this sickness that's going around now. It seems scary." Once she had sent that off she drove back home.

Andy had died. Her heart stopped and all that. In the moment it happened Andy was livid. The whole situation angered her. Ed, or Arcade, whatever he wanted to call himself, would pay.

Death was only temporary. Andy did take after her mother, in many more ways than she wanted. The thumping on the stairs hadn't woke her. What woke her was the hunger she had felt raw since Halloween abating. The bitter flavor that filled her was not like coffee, but more like soured milk. But she did not care.

Suddenly it was cut off. She reached up grabbing at what had been holding her and pulling. Filling herself. She had been so hungry for so long and death had not decreased that any.

Andy opened her eyes. There was Zari. Usagi was doing something and whatever it was Andy didn't like it. Usagi was in cahoots with Arcarde. She punched the rabbit, electricity sparking. Then she set about freeing her girlfriend from the weird IV setup.

Andy squeezed Stella's hand back and nodded as Persephone gave the directions. Niah took the coins from Persephone. Her other hand held the Master Bolt. "Come on Chocolate." She said and whistled a little. The pup followed quickly. She stumbled a little as they walked down the path but with Stella there, it was easier.

"I don't know what you know about the Gray sisters." Andy said. She knew Stella was new so it was likely she didn't know much. "They have one eyeball and tooth they share between the three of them. They don't like demi-gods much because the original Perseus threw their other eye into the lake." Andy wasn't certain how to act around them, but she figured the best action would be to just be nice.

"We should go to camp first. They can help Mary. Then from there go to Olympus. Maybe Argus can take us to the Empire State Building."

"Thank you." Niah told Persephone as she took the coins. She was tired. Emotionally and physically. She nodded at Terminus when he said he would go with them. "Thank you, Damon." She told the strange boy that she barely knew. He was doing a kindness carrying Mary. Hopefully, she would be alright.

"Let's go." Niah headed off the mountaintop and down the trail. She had walked this path before. How long ago had that been? It felt like so long ago. But also that it wasn't enough time. That had been the day the world had started falling apart. She didn't know what she would do going forward. With Mads gone...

She cut off the spiraling thoughts and got to the road. There she threw the coin onto the ground and said "Stêthi 'Ô hárma diabolês." Niah knew about the Gray sisters, she hoped they were in a good mood. They likely wouldn't be too excited about having four demi-gods in their car.

Mandy let out a small huff of air when the boy stepped away and an adult appeared, she was relieved. The cat seemed upset, so she focused on it giving it some attention before looking up at the older woman. She smiled and hoped that the situation had been explained to the boy. She couldn't know. But at least the boy had backed off, he also seemed satisfied.

Mandy waved her fingers a bit at the pair of them and continued her little shopping spree. She texted back her dad. "Yeah, hopefully only temporary though. I'll find a new owner for it as soon as I can. The vet said it was healthy and gave it the first round of shots. I'll take care of the rest when I get back to school. No microchip or any sign of being owned by anyone."

She headed to the checkout stands, and pulled out her note again to show the cashier. She didn't like to have cashiers think she was rude and ignoring them.

"Allow me to re-introduce you to everyone. Klara, this is Caroline, you almost had it. This is Avery. You met both during the Jumanji incident. But it has been a while, and other circumstances have made things complicated, do not feel bad for not remembering." Ed considered letting Klara know that she wasn't just having issues with her memory, Avery had not only changed their face but also their name since the last time they would have seen each other. He glanced at Avery and decided to let them handle that part, Ed didn't want to say something that might accidentally hurt Avery's feelings.

His face lit up as Klara offered him the box. "Thank you." He said opening the box. He then put the amulet on. Ed could feel the magic of it harmonize with his own. "This is kind of you. I appreciate it." Ed understood why Klara and her mother were jointly sending the gift. If he hadn't picked up on the oddities of the fake Klara that had been with them and then brought it to Sif's attention, and Sif had agreed that something was off, they might not have known that the real Klara was trapped in the alternate dimension. Ed had been adamant and eventually, he had been proven right.

"If you'd like I'd be happy to take you around and introduce you to everyone on the team, we have several new members. And some you may have only met briefly." Ed offered.

Mandy jumped a little when the kid came rushing into her vision and reached into her personal space. She knew hearing people expected you to know where they were by the sound of their footsteps or some other magical way of just knowing. It was annoying though because hearing people assumed everyone could do it. However, she knew kids had even less experience. She glanced around trying to find an adult that went with the kid.

She pulled out her phone and opened the note pad, she had a standard "I'm deaf" card that she would use and then expand from there. She wasn't even going to try to talk to the kid. Her voice was hard for people to understand. But there was no adult. Could the kid read? She did kneel down so it would be easier for him to pet the cat, as long as the cat seemed okay with the kid. Part of her attention was on the body language of the kitten and if its purring stopped, which she could feel through her fingers.
